Good value for money. Nice outdoor terrace.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we immediately felt at home in the beautiful garden. The waitress was very nice, and considering she was the only one serving the food among so many guests, she had everything under control by my standards. The appetizers we ordered arrived before the main courses as requested and were very tasty. The main courses themselves arrived accordingly quickly after the appetizers. Visually, everything was fine, but unfortunately, the Cordon Bleu I ordered was cooked in a deep fryer. Despite all that, it was juicy and well-filled. If it had been cooked in a pan, it would have had more flavor and lived up to its name with a knob of butter on the side. The chef couldn't have done anything wrong with the side of fries, but he could have done without the approximately 50g of frozen vegetables on the plate, which were neither seasoned nor attractively presented. The side salad, which was served with the dish despite the vegetables on the plate, was fresh, homemade, and delicious. My wife's main course was also very generous (with homemade potato salad), beautifully presented, and flavorful. However, the menu should have indicated that the dish used cilantro. Unfortunately, many people (including my wife) don't like the unusual flavor of fresh cilantro, which then ruined what was surely a well-prepared and certainly delicious dish for them. All in all, the value for money was good, and the food was good and flavorful despite these minor details that weren't to our liking. Perhaps the menu descriptions should go into more detail about the ingredients. It's not enough to simply write down what you offer; it's also helpful to include what was used in the dish. Many things are also mandatory according to the declaration of ingredients.

We've been looking for a nice place with simple, good food for our lunch break for a long time, and we've found a great spot here. The selection is diverse, and everyone will find something to their liking. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. A great alternative to fast food restaurants.

All in all, a solid restaurant. Just a typical clubhouse. Food is good but not great or exceptional. There are German classics but also Indian dishes. If you want 100% authentic Indian cuisine, you are better off in one of the Indian restaurants in Mannheim city center. Nevertheless, the Indian dishes here are very tasty, but they use a lot (!) of onions, ginger and garlic. Nevertheless, I have already tried various dishes and the portions are good and plentiful. The samosas with potato filling as a starter are really tasty, as is the chicken pakora! I can't recommend the biryani (daily dish). If you don't like spicy food, you should say so when ordering. The classic German side salad is also available with the Indian main courses. The German cuisine is also good. The rump steak was a positive surprise, it was cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested and was a good chunk of meat (certainly over 200g). The salmon with fried potatoes also looked good. The vegetables that are included in almost every dish are less good, they are a bit bland and tasteless. I was also disappointed with the mushrooms as a starter. The menu says "Mushrooms gratinated with minced meat and onions", what I got were au gratin mushrooms in Bolognese sauce that tasted like Miracoli. I was expecting something different. The spaetzle, on the other hand, was incredibly tasty! So it's very ambivalent. Some dishes are super tasty, others not so much. Service is actually always nice and good. Yesterday we had to wait a little longer for our food, but it was also Friday evening and we were a birthday party. What should be mentioned, however, is that there is regularly a cloud of cigarette smoke wafting through the place, as the owners regularly and quite often go out onto the terrace to smoke. This is very unpleasant. All in all, as I said, a normal German club restaurant experience that you get here.

Nice service... Enjoy your meal... Ambience a bit old-fashioned, but OK. When the weather is warm, look at the outside terrace. Large sports grounds Good lunch during the week, 4x different dishes with soup and salad 8.90 euros.

It's not Greek food, it's inedible for me, the cook still has a lot to learn.

Bin in der Woche zu Mittagszeit dort um vor allem das indische Essen zu probieren. Das Lokal war ubersichtlich besucht. Die Bedienung aufmerksam und recht schnell (es war nicht viel los!). Die Suppe aus gelben Linsen war sehr gut, pikant und etwas scharf gewürzt. Der Beilagensalat war OK, alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Chicken Chili Masala (s.Bild) war auch OK. (kenne ich ganz anderes 🫣) es hat Schärfe gefehlt und Sauce war auch sehr knapp. Das indische Essen wirkte authentisch. Das Essen war reichlich. Preis/Leistung sehr gut. Besonderes in der Wochenkarte mit einigen wechselnden Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist ausbaufähig, ist halt eine Vereinsgaststätte. Ich werde definitiv wieder hingehen um es noch einmal zu vergleichen und Darka Dal zu probieren! 😘

I went there during the week at lunchtime, primarily to try the Indian food. The restaurant was lightly frequented. The service was attentive and quite quick (it wasn't very busy!). The yellow lentil soup was very good, spicy, and a bit hot. The side salad was OK; everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The chicken chili masala (see picture) was also OK (I know it from a completely different source 🫣, but maybe there are other versions as well) lacked spice, and the sauce was also very limited. The Indian food seemed authentic and plentiful. The drinks selection is local and sufficient. Very good value for money (especially on the weekly menu with several changing dishes!). The ambiance could be improved; it's a club restaurant, after all. I'll definitely go back to compare and try Darka Daal! 😘 p.s. ...we were there again, Darka Daal was delicious 👍🏼...and the chicken korma was also good, but very, very lightly seasoned. ☝🏼☝🏼...but the Ureich (from the barrel) is a disaster...undrinkable! (too old or been in the line for too long!)...that's not okay!😣👎🏼

Not recommended! Very unfriendly manager. We made a reservation personally by telephone at 6:00 p.m. with the boss. When we arrived, he lied to our faces and said he hadn't spoken to anyone. This Indian restaurant is not recommended!

Amazing food very tasty. Beer was local and nice. Enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely be back again.

We've been there a few times, mostly in the summer. The food is really simple but flavorful, filling and good. There are a few Indian dishes, I mostly eat the grilled dish. During my last visit a few weeks ago it was quite cool, which was pleasant for me; female guests were sitting in the guest room wearing thick sweaters. I would like the waiters to taste it briefly before pouring the wine to see if it is still good, my red wine was a little over the top. Price performance is good, simple atmosphere, good service, very good prices for beer and wine.

The three of us ate here, came at 1 p.m. and ordered. The food wasn't served until an hour later on a Sunday, probably because the shop, which was in need of renovation, was full of pensioners. The Indian food didn't taste or look particularly Indian. Probably because most guests only eat schnitzel and sausage.

The first time we were there we thought everything was great. Last week or the week before last we had made reservations there for our funeral party but that went completely wrong. Starting with the communication during the telephone conversation to reserve the places until the arrival of our funeral party. There was neither a hall with tables nor any place set up. The card was probably put together in a hurry because of a lack of ideas. Then, after several hours, the food finally came out of the kitchen. What can I say; My first brother had ordered a rum steak (as did 4 others), then I was informed that there wasn't enough meat available, but things got even better. He switched to duck leg with nonsense. After several attempts with incorrect schnitzel variations which, for whatever reason, ended up with his brother and he referred them to his dish, he was first served a rum steak, which he then immediately had taken away (there shouldn't be any left!!!) his duck leg finally arrived . He beamed happily over both cheeks. Unfortunately, you couldn't even cut this very, very black thing with extra browning (the waiter's statement: the other guests actually want this meat to be even crispier). It was so dry, it was probably due to the Sahara air that blew over this bird from Egypt to Sudan to promote it as a dried bird. In short: after complaining about the dried bird, the waitress came back in with a plate on which this super crispy leg was supposed to be and feasted on a piece of leg that had turned from its original dark color to a delicate pink. The suspicion is that this smaller leg must have come from another plate or fresh from the kitchen. In any case, the waitress said that the leg was very tender and that my brother shouldn't be like that. To limit the damage, the schnitzel dishes like cordon bleu etc. were delicious. The starters could also be done better. But the beer tasted good

The Indian food is very good and authentic, hand-cooked by the Indian owner. I had the yellow lentil soup.The ambience can be improved. Tarka Dal is also highly recommended. Lentil dish with rice. A bit spicy. But I think it's good.

Very good food for a very good price! What really went wrong was that our grandson was forgotten! Everyone got their food, except him! Huge theater and we asked several times. Hungry child watched everyone eat! This deserves improvement.

Typische Vereinsgatstätte. Die auf dem Stand Anfang der neunziger geblieben ist. Das Essen war okay.

Wurstsalat gegessen mit Brot. Wurstsalat war gut, aber das Brot war nicht frisch

Gestern waren wir dort im Biergarten zum Essen. Das Lokal ist im Grünen gelegen und der Biergarten wirkte einladend. Sowohl der Schafskäse, der Salat als auch das indische Essen waren sehr lecker zubereitet und die Portionen wirklich groß. Das Bier frisch gezapft und der Wein aus Kallstadt vollmundig . Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und kommen sicher bald wieder☀️

Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Da das Essen nicht aus der Mikrowelle kommt, sondern frisch gekocht wird, zumindest das was ich dort bisher gegessen habe, muss man halt etwas länger warten. Jeder der selbst kochen kann weiß das. Service ist sehr nett.

Ist ne Sportler Gaststätte, sehr gross, wir waren nur zum Mittagstisch aber war OK, wir waren nicht das letzte mal dort im Sommer mit dem Rad probieren wir es abends denn der Biergarten sieht auch gut aus

Ich war hier im Rahmen eines Wettkampfes und konnte den Imbiss genießen. Die Pommes waren okay. Nur dass man lange warten musste. Eine Friteuse reicht nicht aus. Einfache Gartenstühle.

Sehr lecker, erinnert total an Kindheit in den Sportgaststätten, nur ohne den Rauch. Vom Wildbraten bis zum Schnitzel. Besonderer Clou, es gibt auch indische Gerichte. Indische Vorspeisen sind der Hammer. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Parkplätze vorhanden. Sehr lecker

Das essen Vor Ort war Sehr Lecker Und die Bedienung Hat ebenfalls Einen Seher Netten Eindruck Gemacht Der Salat war sehr köstlich. Als Vorspeise hatten meine Kollegen Einen Schafskäse Den wir alles Seher weiter empfehlen können.Als haupt Gericht hatte ich indisches Chilli das Seher vorzüglich war und meine Kollegen Hatten jeweils ein Steak und Schnittel was Auch sie weiter empfehlen würden es gabs nichts zu meckern Mann kann das essen nur weiter empfehlen 5/5 Sterne
