I haven't had such a delicious pizza in ages (and none this big either). The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. Definitely make a reservation. I will too when I go back to Bonn.

I remember the delicious pizza from Tuscolo from my youth and absolutely had to go there when I visited Bonn again years later. The service was extremely attentive and fast, and the pizza was just as good as I remembered! Reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant is quite busy due to its popularity. But the food deserves a 10/10!

We were regular customers for years, but unfortunately, not anymore. The problem is the poor air quality and the appalling state of the restrooms. For many, many months, the restrooms on the first floor have been unusable because water is constantly leaking from one of them, flooding everything. (Sitting near the restrooms also smells very unpleasant. Unfortunately, the restrooms aren't locked, so customers use them anyway. The sign on the door is barely legible.) But the restrooms downstairs aren't particularly pleasant either. When I asked why the problems weren't being fixed, I received a very evasive answer, which suggests that they don't want to spend any money on it. According to a waiter, the bad, smoky air is due to the air conditioning being damaged in the fire a few years ago, and I wonder why that hasn't been repaired. I just feel sorry for the employees who have to work there every day. In my opinion, it's detrimental to their health. The place is always packed, so I can't imagine that a renovation wouldn't be financially feasible. It's a real shame that it seems to be all about making as much money as possible, completely disregarding the well-being of the guests (and employees?). We'd love to come back once it's renovated, but I'm afraid that's still a long way off.

I'm incredibly disappointed. We've been eating at Tucolo for years, and it's getting worse every year. The restaurant in Bonn looks great, but it's always been a bit lackluster. But today's food was absolutely inedible. It's just not what it used to be. And the waiter didn't seem to care. He told us to write a review on Google, which I'm doing here. That was the last time we'll eat there, and we won't be holding my company's Christmas parties there again either.

Very good pizza, and huge! A little less salt wouldn't hurt... We're picky and vegetarian. We were really satisfied and completely full. Those who prefer a quiet dining environment might find it a bit stressful.

I had Spaghetti Carbonara and as Dessert Panna Cotta with strawberry jam. Sadly the strawberry jam was too little though the pana cotta was very tasty.

When you return after years and everything has changed, except for the cool train compartment, there's always a touch of melancholy. Now it's so crowded and really loud. Perhaps the pandemic has also affected me. I no longer find the noise level pleasant. The staff uses walkie-talkies to manage the influx of customers. The food and prices aren't the problem. This restaurant is accessible for people with mobility issues via a bell on the side.

The pizza was delicious. The Kölsch beer was also excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but it's a bit noisy due to the large number of guests. That's why it only gets four stars. Nevertheless, we always enjoy coming back.

Sure, there are times when restaurants (even those with an obsessively kitschy decor) are packed, but it's hardly conducive to business when you have to wait almost half an hour for (normal) drinks while your friends at the table are already ordering their next round. Especially since (as mentioned, at an Italian restaurant) they've run out of fettuccine, and the spaghetti offered as a substitute is as far from al dente as the sauce on it is from even remotely tasty. On the other hand, the overpowering smell of the burnt goat cheese medallion on the plate delivers a taste experience more akin to a cafeteria meal. Thick caramelized beef, a lack of cutlery, and a shortage of napkins complete the picture. It's adequate for eating, and to their credit, they do have some good-looking pizzas. But unfortunately, it doesn't quite qualify as a good Italian restaurant.

Starter: Carpaccio Main course: Fettuccine Giotto, tomato sauce with beef sirloin strips and burrata Both were very delicious, especially the main course with burrata, accompanied by Kölsch beer. Service was very polite and quick; thanks also to Nick for the excellent service. Conclusion: Reservations are essential, as it's packed (approx. 300 seats) and therefore quite noisy. I sat upstairs, and it was fine... still, go and eat there!

Solid food at fair prices. It's chain restaurants, not your typical family-run Italian place around the corner.

The food is good, but it doesn't quite measure up to small Italian restaurants. The dishes are mainstream, and while the pizza is Roman-style, it's too thin for my taste. The staff tries hard and is friendly. Unfortunately, they're also often a bit forgetful 🤣 Overall, it's still worth a visit, even though the prices are on the higher end... but that puts them more in the lower middle range.

Good food and large pizzas Service was good, and the ambiance was rather rustic. The food is fresh and tasty. A paper sheet for the very large pizzas would be great, so they don't splatter around on the table. All in all, a restaurant where you can eat anytime.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Mass processing. The food arrived at different times for four people. The noodles were swimming in sauce and had absolutely no flavor. We sat upstairs. The music is an acoustic nuisance; you basically only hear the bass and the thumping. They could really do much better here. Only the friendly service somewhat salvaged the evening. We won't be coming back.

Decent pizza. You have to give them that. The service is fast and friendly. But that's about it. The prices make me feel ripped off. Two examples: - The Margherita pizza costs €9.90. The salami pizza costs €13.90. So you pay €4.00 for 8 slices of industrial salami. - The 0.5 liter Coke costs €5.30 (!). I'm used to that from airplanes. The nerve is, though, that you get a flat, non-carbonated Coke for that. The noise level on the ground floor is very, very high. The tables are very close together. The waiters seem stressed and rushed. Not a pleasant atmosphere.

My husband had the chicken pizza, but the meat was unfortunately inedible. We told the waiter and ordered pasta instead. Finally, we were told that three people from the kitchen had said the meat was good. Okay, so the gray and smelly meat was just my imagination. Eat it!!! Here's something for the rude waiter...

The place is quite large but well organized. You don't really have to wait very long, even though it's always quite busy. The noise level is rather high. Cleanliness is okay. The food selection is good, but they don't offer lactose-free cream. When I asked for it (for the tagliatelle salmon), they laughed and said, "Well, no cream, we don't have lactose-free stuff here." Oh well, I ended up having a pizza instead. They don't accept small pizzas; you have to get the regular (too big) one, and then you just can't eat everything. The staff are very rude to each other.

Whenever we're in Bonn, we have to go to the Tuscolo Münsterblick. Today, too, everything went perfectly, and we were very satisfied. Waiter Enis provided excellent service. We'd be happy to come back.

If you make a reservation for 20+ people and still have to wait an hour, you know there will be no tips and no positive reviews.

Had a truly wonderful evening with super delicious food! 😊 I couldn't believe it at first when I heard the pizzas were supposed to be bigger than the plate, but it's actually true! Plus, a really nice atmosphere.

I was there two days in a row. The staff was incredibly fast and polite. Service at the table was very quick after ordering. The pizza was very large, fresh, and well-filled. The pasta dishes weren't too heavy. The side salad was standard. The sauces/toppings (pasta and pizza) were similar, in my opinion. A bit too expensive for my taste. Suitable for larger groups, but with a correspondingly high noise level.

The customer is the last thing that matters – the main thing is getting paid! I ordered a room-temperature orange juice and told the waiter to bring me water if they didn't have it. However, he brought me a cold glass of orange juice that tasted like hot water – he probably added hot water. Even though I told the waitress that it didn't taste good and that they couldn't add hot water, she just said she'd pass it on. I was ignored, even though I didn't drink the juice. When paying, I spoke to a third waiter and explained that I didn't drink the juice. He just said it wasn't their fault. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I paid. What I found particularly cheeky was that he didn't give me the change and just took it as a tip. I'm never going there again!

Very disappointed by this experience. Catastrophic service: endless waits, unfriendly servers. We ordered pasta from the wide selection offered... only to be told, after several minutes of waiting, that only spaghetti remained. We were then offered something else, which we did... before being told that our original dish, which turned out to be "spaghetti," was ready. It was late, we were hungry, and we accepted. So much confusion from start to finish! I should point out: one of our guests spoke German, so it wasn't a language comprehension issue. And finally: my supposedly vegetarian dish contained a piece of meat. A quick apology and very little consideration for the customer. In short, a restaurant to avoid.

Since the fire, the quality has declined significantly. There are hardly any vegetarian dishes left on the menu, which was already very thin compared to before, and the quality has also declined significantly. Today I ordered fettucine with porcini mushrooms, which used to be part of the regular menu, but now only on the seasonal menu. The portion was half the size it used to be, and besides two missing pieces of porcini mushrooms, there were mostly slices of mushrooms, which is obviously much cheaper than just ordering porcini mushrooms. Overall, nothing like it used to be. I'll avoid going there again.

An excellent restaurant. All the pasta we ate was delicious, the pizzas were crispy, and all the portions were very large and filling. I recommend it 1000000%.

Not for allergy sufferers! We were a large group, and I had contacted the restaurant a few days earlier and asked about gluten-free options (according to the menu, nothing is gluten-free). Unfortunately, there was no response. The service staff there was friendly, but at times extremely overwhelmed. The front desk couldn't determine whether the bottled beer was gluten-free, nor which dishes on the menu could be made gluten-free. I then ordered a salad without bread, as they said it would be gluten-free. The salad came with bread (on top), and it turned out that the goat cheese was covered in breadcrumbs. Fortunately, another front desk clerk reacted quickly and noticed the problem. In the end, I got a green salad with a piece of burnt goat cheese, lots of raw onion, and a few walnuts, including pieces of the shell, for €18. The pizzas looked great, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for people with celiac disease.

As other guests have already reported, I contracted a gastrointestinal infection here. Not recommended.

Reasonable prices and decent portions

This was our first time at Tuscolo. The pizza was very good! We especially want to praise our waiter, Ennis, who served us so friendly and professionally. You don't get treated that kindly everywhere! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Buongiorno Bonn! After a sunny and eventful day, we stopped off at Tuscolo Münsterblick with our group (16 people). In addition to the extensive food selection, we particularly remembered the birthday serenade and the team's dedication. We'd especially like to mention Ennis, who treated us to a wonderful afternoon with his wit and charm. We'd love to come back...

We ordered three pizzas for three people, and within 10 minutes, the delicious and exceptionally large pizzas were on the table. The option to combine two pizzas is particularly useful for those undecided. The service was also excellent!

Not highly recommended; the taste is average at best, and even the great atmosphere doesn't make up for it. The service is friendly, but they tend to mix up orders.

All in all, it was okay. The food was okay, but not a highlight. The extra tuna on the salad was €4, but the amount was a bit cheeky (1 heaped tablespoon). The salad was otherwise fresh. The Sicilian farmer's bread served with it (according to the menu) was, in my opinion, pizza bread sticks – totally dry. I was expecting the bread used for the bruschetta, because it's labeled "Sicilian farmer's bread." The pizzas all looked the same and were heavy on the stomach. The server was nice and quick. When I ordered my salad, I didn't specify any dressing, so he asked me, and I told him, "The menu says if you don't say anything, it'll be yogurt." He just said, "No, we always ask." Okay, then don't write it on the menu – because some guests just read the information 🤣 So, it's okay, but I wouldn't go back because there are more unique and more convincing restaurants.

Enis did his job very well. Definitely one more reason to visit.

First, I don’t like to give bad reviews. It was the worst bruschetta I’ve ever eaten in my life. My homemade bruschetta is 1000 times better. They just cut a piece of old, cold, and dry bread, put some old topping on it and sell it as two pieces for almost €10. I read about the scandal with unhygienic conditions and mouse droppings and that they had to close the restaurant. Honestly, I was not surprised.

The service was extremely friendly, and the overall ambiance was also pleasant. However, I find it a shame that the options for Muslim guests are very limited. Typical dishes like Frutti di Mare, simple pasta dishes, or even alternatives like bresaola, beef ham, or beef salami were unfortunately not available. This makes it a bit difficult to find something suitable if you're craving meat or fish. In the end, I opted for a pizza with salmon and crab – it was okay. Nevertheless, I wouldn't choose the restaurant again, as the selection is simply too limited for guests who don't eat pork.

I ordered four items through Lieferando. Only one was delivered. I couldn't reach anyone by phone for half an hour. When I reordered through Lieferando, a completely cold pizza arrived, and yet another item was missing.

After a shopping trip through Bonn, we were a bit hungry. We got a table outside, experienced good service, and, above all, ate a fantastic Bruschetta Parma. Simply delicious.

I ordered through Lieferando, which I do often, but unfortunately the pizza chef seemed to be in no mood! Half of what normally goes on a pizza tartufo was missing, I ordered extra garlic... nothing... just really, really bad toppings, and all for €20! I know it can be done differently! Super annoying & disappointing!

It doesn't look like a Margherita to me. It's a dough with a spoonful of tomato and a pinch of cheese in some parts. I understand the inflation, but my daughter was asking me where the toppings went.

A very nice restaurant with good food and an appealing selection. Unfortunately, the service was noticeably slow – despite only being about 50% full, we had to wait a very long time both to order and to pay. It's a shame, because the ambiance and quality of the food definitely deserved more stars.

We were there on a Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. We had a reservation, which was also recommended for the interior (which is very, very large). Almost all the tables were occupied, which led to an extremely high level of noise. It was sometimes difficult to hold a conversation at the table. Service was hectic; I got the impression that it was geared towards quantity and speed. Friendliness and customer service were lacking. We all ordered pizzas. All the pizzas were very large, with thin crusts, and all were tasty. The wait was okay. The food salvaged the overall impression a little. However, I would look for a different location next time I visit Bonn.

A very nice restaurant, located right in the center, with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, there's a lot of construction going on around it at the moment. The food was delicious and very well presented. The pizza burst open; it had a very thin crust and was very tasty. The dessert was also very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Very good value for money. The restaurant also has a branch on Vorgebirgsstraße, which is also highly recommended, although the restrooms there are on the first floor. Reservations are definitely recommended. We made a reservation at short notice and managed to get a seat on a Saturday. Quite surprising. It's easy to have a good conversation, but there's a lot of traffic.

First of all: I'm a former Bonn resident and have known Tuscolo for 30 years. It was always great. This was my first time at Münsterblick, at 9:15 p.m., when it was noticeably emptier. Apart from the still very good pizza, which used to be considerably larger, it was unfortunately really not that good. We waited five minutes outside until someone showed us a table... I thought: I guess it's unnecessary. Ordering and eating took forever, even though it wasn't busy... and in between, we were harassed by aggressive beggars. The tiramisu on the house, unfortunately, has absolutely nothing to do with tiramisu. You know that. So, best to just leave it. It's just a pile of cream with not much sponge. You can make it much better with any Google recipe and mascarpone(!). Also, the always excellent zabaione is no longer on the menu. Maybe we'll go somewhere else soon...

I'm in Bonn maybe once a year, but a visit to Tuscolo is always a must (usually Frankenbad, but this time Münsterblick). Most recently, it was Friday evening, with a companion, outside without a reservation. I was greeted and served very warmly, chose my wine and favorite pizza, and was once again extremely satisfied with everything. It's a great place to go anytime. Thanks for the lovely evening.

Very tasty pizza service very attentive

We went to Tuscolo at our son's request and were not disappointed. The two pizzas were not only huge but also wafer-thin, crispy, and perfectly topped. My husband's seafood pasta was excellently seasoned, and unlike many other restaurants, you could actually find seafood in it. The service was very friendly, which made up for the street location. Bottom line: we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back! The slightly more expensive dishes are definitely worth the money.
