Nobody feels responsible for taking the order, a dark-haired waitress said "please contact my colleague" and so we went three rounds... and walked past, and no it wasn't full... then the fourth came and finally he handed over the menu. Little did we know that we would have to wait longer to order. Then came this calm, quiet waiter, we assume a trainee/student, who made the children smile as he handed over ice cream and showed that the wait after a hike wasn't in vain... I can't get there alone.

Authentic pizza from real Italian chef. Great restaurant, friendly staff and the local beer is also very nice. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Bonn.

The Tuscolo restaurant is very well located near the train station and can therefore be easily reached. The pizza itself (tuna) was very large and completely sufficient for me. The only thing that deducted the star was the pizza was a bit strangely seasoned for a tonno. Unfortunately I couldn't define what it was, but it was very tasty and neither burnt nor too cold. Speak exactly right. If you like to eat a lot and like pizza, this is the place for you. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

It's a really nice place. The outside is nice as well. The food is tasty, is not expensive and the service here is good as well. People treat you right and try to please you. I tried 2 main dishes, Lasagne della Nonna and Cannelloni al Forno, both were really tasty.

Tuscolo… always happy! Huge pizzas that you can't make alone. I always share with a friend and we then have the mixed antipasti as a starter - delicious! Everything is freshly prepared and visually beautifully presented. I find the ambience in the interior very old-fashioned. A little paint is missing here, new furniture.

Great fresh and delicious pizzas! Great service! Very child-friendly - cheap children's pizza - leftovers were of course packed up and there was even an ice cream for the little one on the house! Delicious espresso! We were really excited!

In itself a nice location with good and tasty food, but unfortunately the quality has lost since the kitchen fire. Since April 2023, there has been no proper pasta menu like there was before and the small extra menu, on which the 4-5 special dishes are offered as a selection in addition to the still very tasty pizza and salad menu, is unfortunately very generous and expandable! Especially since this special menu isn't even on every table, which means that you don't necessarily know that these special dishes exist. All in all, it's a shame, it's always been a nice Italian restaurant. However, if you only want to eat pizza or salad, this is still the right place, they still taste good and the pizzas are pretty big too!

We would like to give five stars to the entire family. The food was excellent. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was great. When we are in Bonn again we would like to come back for dinner...

In summary, we unfortunately have to rate this visit by 6 people on July 24 as "disappointing". service The assigned table was not clean, or was only smeared with an unsavory lamp after consultation. We had disinfectant wipes with us and did it ourselves. The floor was full of leftover food, obviously left by the guests before us, but not cleaned by the staff. Service otherwise tried hard, but largely uncoordinated, but loud, but not unfriendly. Ambiance Not very attractive, quaint, cellar-like and rustic in one corner, dusty, dirty and full of cobwebs in the other corner. Also drafty, reverberant and loud. Furniture partly heavily worn, scratches, cracks, chips. Food The offer, i.e. the menu, is now very limited and limited, there are no funny, interesting, exciting or any “signature” dishes. Everything looks standard and mass-produced. The drinks were taken incorrectly and were then brought incompletely as a result. Empty glasses were not noticed and as guests we had to gesture and shout to be allowed to order more. Starters and later main courses arrived very late, so that some of us were almost finished, while others only then received their orders. Pizzas with special requests were once filled with incomplete toppings and another time with an explicitly unwanted ingredient. ! Remarkable: The two pizza chefs served the pizzas directly at the oven and wore black latex/rubber gloves. You would think it would be great... If they didn't also touch the pizza peel, the broom and the rags with the same gloves - unhygienic and unacceptable! Price ok, food tasted okay, but boring, careless, prepared and served with disinterest. There was nothing that would make us come back or why we would recommend this restaurant.

We are excited! We had vouchers that were almost 10 years old and thought they had expired but the boss had no problem letting us use them anyway! The ambience is really nice with the Münster Church in the background, it looks lively, friendly and inviting. The waitresses were incredibly polite and accommodating, which really makes you feel very good! The food was just great, the pizzas are very tasty and the ingredients harmonize perfectly with each other. Plus, they taste natural compared to other “pizzarias”! Thanks for the great evening with my girlfriend, keep it up!

I recently visited [tuscolo], and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The staff was incredibly rude from the moment we walked in, making us feel unwelcome. The service was slow and inattentive, and our requests were met with eye-rolls and sighs. To make matters worse, the food was terrible. The main course was overcooked and tasteless, and the salad was wilted and unappetizing. It was clear that no care or attention was put into the preparation. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, and I will certainly not be returning. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

We have rarely eaten such good pizza. Friendly service and the price is absolutely right! We would love to come back 👍👍

A hot summer evening, restaurant full, loud, funny, Italian. The pizza was excellent, thin, crispy, huge, full of toppings and most importantly: not drowned in greasy bad cheese. You can taste all the ingredients. Despite the full house, service was calm and kept an overview. Respect. I'll be back. See you soon

Update from July 27th, 2024: Although the kitchen fire was 1.5 years ago, there is still only a very limited menu. You can hardly find pasta and meat there anymore. The starter plate was completely overpriced, the pizza dough in the middle was significantly thicker and quite dry compared to before. There are now major differences in staff. Conclusion: the Tuscolo at Münsterblick has deteriorated quite a bit, which is absolutely not consistent with the increased prices there too. An institution for good Italian cuisine for over 30 years

Great place! We were served by a very nice waiter who introduced himself as Sharon. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding!

THE Italian restaurant in Bonn. In my opinion, you get the best pizza (with a crispy base) in Tuscolo. The service is also very good - we were recently served very friendly by Can at the Tuscolo Münsterblick. The space and ambience are also very good. A bit more rustic - it always reminds me of good Italian restaurants from my childhood. We also like to go with the family because everything here is always very relaxed and down-to-earth. So all in all 5 stars without any deductions.

Unfortunately it turned out really bad. All 3 pizzas were completely burnt, the waiter was nowhere to be found, so our friend who came a little later was never able to order anything. And the restaurant was empty, they weren't overwhelmed or anything. It's a shame, it was different back then.

Very tasty food. The pizzas are among the best in Bonn. Unfortunately there was a fire in the kitchen some time ago, which is why there have been significantly fewer pasta dishes since then, which were also extremely good. Because the restaurant is so large, you can often get a table without making a reservation, at least for “normal-sized groups” despite high demand. Despite the size of the restaurant, the service is very fast and friendly.

Yesterday we had a lovely evening for two at Tuscolo. After a short wait, we were given a table with large laminated cards at reception. The selection of dishes (starters, salads and pizzas) is small, but completely sufficient. The pizzas came to the table quickly and were very tasty and very large over the plate. Comparable to a better-known chain, this pizza is of better quality and cheaper (for €13!). The waitresses were very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended! However, I would plan on waiting because the restaurant is very busy.

Hot outside, even hotter inside! The ventilation doesn't seem to be working... Unfortunately. Food was good. We left the restaurant immediately after eating due to the heat! Ambiance only 2 stars due to lack of ventilation, although it is a nice restaurant.

We were there the day before with the family. The store was invitingly charming, with Italian gimmicks. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and the pizza was almost cartwheel sized! Everything tasted great, and we had the last piece packed up for home. All in all a great experience, we'll be back!

Pizza was great and so big that we had the rest packed up. Afterwards the cappuccino was almost cold and hardly edible, hence only 4 stars.

Complete disaster! I would say either we had a bad day or the store is completely overrated. Food came before the drinks, wheat beer was only 2/3 full, Aperol too warm, pizza bread didn't come at all, garlic was missing from the pizza, pizza wasn't baked through and and and... Service disorganized, ambience outside unkempt.

They're lazy people, they close an hour beforehand, the kitchen is only open until 9 p.m., WATCH THE OPENING HOURS, they're not correct. Hands off!

There were two of us here for dinner. The food and service were very good. A really great unique pizza. Two of us were seated at a table outside. This table was right next to a tree and was completely crooked, and the chairs weren't even in this place. This table should no longer be given away. Overall we were very satisfied.

Visited on 7/14/24 afternoon The service staff was friendly and accommodating. The pizza was super tasty. But what, in my opinion? What's not right is that the manager (at least gave the appearance of having her blonde hair tied in a ponytail) reprimanded the employees in front of guests, even though they were apparently understaffed. I work as a manager myself and if employees do something wrong, they clarify it away from the guest area. The staff was absolutely fine there

It was our first time as a family in Tuscolo. The food was very tasty and the pizza portions were large. Unfortunately, the shop was completely overloaded on Saturday. We waited 60 minutes for a pizza and 2x lasagne. Drinks also took 15 minutes. The waiter was very friendly and apologized. Maybe we'll go there during the week when it's not so crowded. Otherwise there are other Italians in Bonn.

So the pizza might be good, but I had cannelloni and that really didn't work. Only four rolls, lukewarm for ~15€… I would never order again.

As always, the food is of excellent quality and the waiters are friendly and hard-working. The toilets urgently need to be renovated. These are really in bad condition.

This is our second time in Bonn, but this time our trip was purely for entertainment. And this is a rare case when a restaurant is located in the city center (in its tourist part) and the food is very tasty! Italian pizza, salads, bruschettas and, of course, Aperol. If you are in this beautiful city and want to have lunch/dinner with pizza, then I recommend you visit this beautiful restaurant. There is an opportunity to eat both inside the restaurant and outside and on the terrace. The average bill per person with a drink will be approximately 25-30 €. This is if you count 1 large pizza or salad and 1 drink. Salami pizza large-12.50€ Pizza Salami Bambini (children’s) - 6.90 € (it’s really big in size) Aperol - 6.90€ Monte Carlo salad with beef (I recommend!) Huge - 15.90€

During our visit yesterday with 7 people, we were advised that it would not be advisable to order a starter as the restaurant would be very busy. We've never experienced anything like this before. We ordered 6 pizzas and a portion of filled canneloni. The cannelloni consisted of 4 very small rolls that could possibly have fed a child. The pizzas were very large and tasted good, unfortunately one pizza was forgotten. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Unfortunately, when our glasses and bottles were empty, no one asked if we wanted any more drinks. The service was inattentive and very slow. Unfortunately there are no desserts on the menu, so we drank our espresso somewhere else afterwards.

Drinks arrived after half an hour. 2 hours after arriving at the restaurant, the starter still wasn't there. On a Saturday evening that doesn't work at all. We came here after a hike. All the other guests received their orders much earlier than we did. Unfortunately, everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong here that day. Now about the food. After about 2 hours we had everything. As compensation, the manager gave us all drinks and brought us free desserts. That was great compensation. That was great. And the food itself was absolutely top. There was nothing to complain about. Next time you should just say in advance if it's too much today and then that would have been perfectly fine. Unfortunately, this leaves a small aftertaste that shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Ambience wasn't great, loud like at the train station. We were sitting near the kitchen and it was so loud that it was difficult to have a pleasant conversation. The food was average, not outstanding. The salad was crunchy and the goat's cheese was not grilled and was lukewarm. Unfortunately, you are assigned a table, which is not so nice, you should at least be asked whether it is ok. It's not particularly friendly there. Mass processing......

Carpaccio was nicely prepared, but wasn't very tasty. Pizza was good, but the salad wasn't. Meat fried to death and dry. Our service staff was very attentive and friendly, which cannot be said about all employees. In my opinion, the ambience is no longer up to date, the sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated.

An order (pizza and salad) was placed via Lieferando and the delivery time was confirmed in 60 minutes. After 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting, the delivery time was postponed by half an hour, which was quite annoying. After ten minutes the order was canceled without giving any reason. What should you do in this situation, especially since it was already 10:30 p.m.? Just starve or try to order somewhere else and hope the food arrives before midnight? Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced this at Tuscolo and we won't be ordering here again. I generally advise against Tuscolo orders via Lieferando because, according to comments in the Lieferando app, cancellations are common. A cancellation is not a bad thing under certain circumstances. But certainly not after 1.5 hours of waiting!!!

Very tasty, large pizza, thin, perfectly crispy base, optimally topped. Had the Romana and Tartufo. In terms of taste, the pizzas are absolutely convincing.

Food and service were okay. However, a renovation is urgently needed and cleaning tables and toilets should actually be standard. The highlight, however, was the mold in the women's toilet, which was also clearly present as a smell in the air.

One of the best restaurants in Bonn

If you want to eat a lot of dough, this is the place to be!

Our pizzas arrived 30 minutes after our friend's pasta dish and were mediocre. The porcini mushrooms on my pizza were a mush, absolutely not recommended. Ordering the drinks was a challenge, apparently they didn't want to make any sales from us. This didn't improve after we moved the table inside; we then ordered at the counter. The absolute impudence came with the bill when the waitress felt our 7% tip was too little given this catastrophic service. She wanted 10% as that would be the norm. I've never experienced such impudence, definitely don't visit!

For Germans you’ll get a pretty good food and location experience the Italian flair and spirit. The menu is well balanced and it’s for sure tasty. You can well compare it to Italian above average food.

I am in this wonderful restaurant at this very moment and am enjoying the great, fast and well organized service. To my delight, the pizza was very large and tasted really tasty and authentically Italian. The interior design also impressed me. It's a shame that I'm from Kiel, I'd love to come back!

Went yesterday and ate but if you order a salad with chicken breast strips then it should be fresh and warm and not from the morning and dry that gets stuck in your throat for 3 seconds because you can't chew it and the salad should contain what is on the menu It says, we won't go there anymore, especially since the waiter accepts the complaint but I don't think anyone cares

Although I reserved a table many weeks ago with the note that we had a friend with us who was dependent on a wheelchair or walker, we were assigned a table on the first floor and then had to go through the entire restaurant because it was in the far corner of the restaurant. The reservation was for 5 PM!!!! and the inside of the restaurant was almost empty. Extremely disappointing for us.

The photo of the food was from our first visit. The food is really great. The service was good despite the restaurant being very busy. We sat on the terrace on the first floor. Yesterday on June 1st, 2024 we were there again. We were greeted by a young woman at the entrance and walked through the ground floor, which had many free tables, to the first floor. There again through the entire floor to the last corner at a table. A cellar asked about drinks. As we waited for them we looked around and were shocked. Tiles are missing on the wall behind us, the window frames were dirty and partly damaged. We sat downstairs and were not served after 25 minutes and left the restaurant. We commented on the whole thing to the staff, who weren't interested. A pity. Good food, but old restaurant in need of renovation and inattentive staff in a restaurant only 25% full

Nice waiter, but no real vegan alternatives. My Insalata Mista was relatively bland “greens” and I was served olive oil with it. Suggestion for improvement: offer better vegan alternatives. Otherwise it's better to go to the Losteria

The food was always good. Service is non-existent… We have been there three times now. Every time the service was a disaster. 20 minutes pass before a waitress even bothers to come to the table. Then drinks are brought incorrectly after ages or even completely forgotten. If there are four of you, the food is not brought to the table at the same time but spread out over a very long period of time, so eating together is not possible. Empty glasses on the table? Don't worry, the waitresses don't care... It wasn't crowded that evening... So you should plan a lot of time if you want to go there… after the third experience of this kind I decided to write this review…. So these are by no means exceptions...

Very large Italian restaurant that is more reminiscent of system gastronomy. Seems a bit massy and not very personal. The restaurant at Frankenbad is familiar and more authentic. Food was good, but very busy because there was a lot of coming and going around.

Had dinner there with a friend last night. As always, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The waiter who was responsible for our table was super friendly and helpful. The wine recommendation was very good and he came and checked whether everything was ok. The Antipasti Tuscolo looked very good and was presented and made differently than last time. Much more beautiful. The main course was pizzas. Were very good and big. The friend had the pizza from the daily menu with figs, nuts and beef strips... that wasn't so good because the figs didn't look that fresh and the price wasn't that good.
