Best pizza in Bonn!! I went there tonight, and the pizza and the atmosphere are simply outstanding! I definitely recommend it!

Been there many times as part of a larger party, between 8-15 people, once a group of over 50. Pizza is super good (you can get halb/halb) and at table service is efficient and friendly. Service at the entrance door is rather less friendly and there is a bit of a feeling of mass catering. The place is big, often full and could do with a change of decor. But all in all it comes with a good recommendation. Reliably good.

Simply terrible today April 5th, 2025

We would have liked to eat, but after having to wait more than a hundred minutes, we left. Unfortunately still hungry. Difficult when you obviously have too many places for too few staff. It obviously can't help the profit, because our neighboring tables were also hungry. It's a shame, because the food there actually tastes good, but that's no use if you don't get anything.

Best restaurant in Bonn, super fast. When you're there, ask about Elyas. Super nice and helpful. It tastes really perfect and is great value for money.

I did a trial day at this restaurant a few months ago – and what I experienced was simply dubious and unprofessional. The supposed boss hired me and other applicants, some of whom were still minors, directly for trial days, gave us a contract at the end, and said we were hired. Weeks later, after I asked for the contract, this "boss" was suddenly gone. It turned out he no longer worked at this branch – and our contract? It had never been valid. Of course, we had submitted our information long ago, and we were promised a job, but ultimately we simply worked for free. In addition to this questionable practice, the working atmosphere is also disastrous: The waiters treat each other terribly, and during my trial, I saw that the food was anything but appetizing. Anyone who values ​​fairness, hygiene, and a professional environment should avoid this restaurant.

They don't serve you if you don't speak German. Shame on you! I even tried to make a phone reservation, when asked in English if i can make a reservation he replied "only Deutch" and hanged up the phone! Very rude! Avoid such a "restaurant"!

Great pizzas, salads so-so. What was bad was the wine, which was half warm. The service was a bit helpless. It had something of a fast pace to it, rather than a cozy atmosphere.

We got a table in the front area when we reserved - a bit loud and restless, but still a nice atmosphere. My requests to close the door when it was almost 3 degrees were also complied with 😅

I really don't get the hype around this place. Have been here twice through an invitation, and a third time to give it a chance. I have tried starters, pasta, pizza and salad. The pizza is okay but pasta and salads are absolutely not worth the price. The ingredients are always overcooked (meat and seafood), and additional bread dry, chewy and hard at the same time. Would be willing to pay 50-60% of the price to consider it fair. As for the ambiente: Nice interior but not well maintained. The toilets are always dirty (we came once even before 7 pm - so before the peak time), 1/2 sinks didn't work, the door knob was broken. As for the service: Just okay, mediocre to low speed (especially when you want to pay). They were not interested in our food feedback at all. I gave it a fair chance, but would not come back again

Today I experienced the most outrageous service and not particularly tasty food in this restaurant. First about the food: We came here again after a long time to try the pasta dishes, as the kitchen was previously renovated and therefore no pasta was served for a long time. After trying them today, we wonder if the kitchen team has been changed because the taste was really very ordinary. The biggest disaster, however, was the service. When we asked an employee to bring the bill, he simply replied, “No.” This answer shocked us, but we thought maybe he was too busy - even though the restaurant was only about a third full at the time. After about ten minutes he finally came. When we paid, he asked directly if we would leave a tip. Since he hadn't taken our order or served our food, I decided against it. When it was my companion's turn, the waiter said directly: "The same game? Is it your culture not to tip?" (We are all Asian.) I've lived in Germany for nine years and have been to countless restaurants, but this was the first time I've experienced such rude service. I think we won't come back.

Unfortunately, the rating of Tuscolo in our eyes has dropped ( 1. if there used to be pasta in a milk(?) sauce, which our daughter really liked, now there is no pasta at all. 2. if there used to be pizza seasoning in bottles on the tables, now there is none 3. service.. the amount we gave the waiter was clearly more than the amount indicated on the check and we pointed out 2 times that the rest should be 15 euros (including tips) but for some reason we got 10 euros, of course I didn't explain anything to anyone because of the 5 euros, we just looked at each other with my wife and thanked her, but as they say: an unpleasant aftertaste remained ( ...unfortunately, I have to add an unpleasant aftertaste again, a year later.. namely: the first time I ate overcooked pizza here, you could say that you were so lucky, maybe) but later, during my lunch, the whole pizzeria I smelled something burnt on the stove).. and 2. the waitress was clearly also a trainee, because I had seen before (and now I have, but unfortunately not in Bonn) what service should be like in Tuscolo (!)

A very good Italian in the city. The pizzas are very large and simply brilliantly prepared. A clear recommendation worth looking for if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine. In terms of service -> everything was very good We will come again.

Had ordered pasta pesto e buratta, got pasta buratta. I asked for Tabasco and was given hot oil. Not so good.

Pizza was ok. Service inattentive. When you came you were ignored. Then there was a long wait at the table to order and also for the food. Guests who arrived later had their food quite a while before me. Much better and friendly service in Siegburg and Troisdorf. Yes, then only Siegburg or Troisdorf for a good pizza.

Ordered 7 pizzas. Didn't come. Nobody answers the phone in the restaurant. Money gone for now.

Das Personal freundlich . Die Damentoilette dermaßen ungepflegt ( hinterließ den Eindruck , dass sich schon seit Tagen ! Keiner darum gekümmert hat )

Nice Italian restaurant in the center of Bonn with lots of tables. The pizzas are very large, thin dough and properly topped. Tastes very good. Despite plenty of staff, the supply of drinks left a lot to be desired (the food was quicker than the beer).

I was eating at this restaurant and wanted to take the rest with me. The employee said that wouldn't be a problem. As soon as I turned around, my pizza was just thrown away! Really disappointing... the service really needs to be better.

Arrived with no reservation on Valentines Day, despite a brief wait still got a quick placement on a table, a service that catered to our engagement and conversations and looked out for the table and without a doubt some amazing House Chardonnay and absolutely delicious and authentic Pizzas and Pasta. Tip: Their classic selections on the left in the menu seem to be much more authentic than the specials - if thats what you are looking for.

I only give it 4 stars. This has nothing to do with the quality of the food. It's really delicious here. I had the lasagne, it was really tasty. But it was so small that unfortunately I couldn't get enough. A large bowl that is only half filled with lasagna. No, that doesn't work at all.

We eat there often because the food is good. Yesterday we were there again and it was relatively busy, but there were enough waiters who went back and forth but hardly anyone paid us any attention, we had to wait longer than our table neighbors. We also ordered ice cream for our son, when the ice cream was brought we were told that the ice cream contains alcohol, couldn't they have told us that beforehand? Well, of course my son wasn't allowed to eat the ice cream. Not only was there a long wait and ice cream for children with alcohol, but at the end there was an extra €3 on my bill, defined as “diverse food”. It's not a lot of money but I'd like to know why? We didn't order anything extra. I think we won't visit this restaurant as often anymore, even if the food is good, the service isn't really good, no 👎

Dear ones, pizza mega, aperitif delicious, service great... but dear team... your toilet is catastrophic! Lampshade is lying on the shelf with dead flies, bucket is broken and smeared, sink is dirty, empty fragrance bottle... that doesn't fit at all with your local... please clean it up...

Wow, what a great restaurant! My best friend came across this great restaurant through Google Maps and found it very interesting from the outside. When we came in we were overwhelmed by the size and atmosphere, but in a positive way. An absolutely wonderful and very friendly staff. We went upstairs where we were once again surprised at how big this restaurant is. And then this corner that was designed like an old train carriage. And then our order came! The pizzas were absolutely delicious and highly recommended! Thank you! We will definitely come back when we are in Bonn.

Absolutely disappointed. -To the drinks- The drinks, Sprite and Cola are very, probably bottled via a tap because ours were almost non-carbonated. Pizza Margherita: The worst was the Margherita pizza Italian pizza Margherita is made with mozzarella and not Gouda. (the waiter himself confirmed to us that Gouda was used) the pizza was very salty, which was probably due to the Gouda, We reported this to the waiter, who then took the pizza away. After 1 minute came back and apologized, but didn't offer to make a new pizza. Very bad service. A good service offers the customer a new pizza, unless the customer doesn't want any more then they say sorry, of course we do NOT charge the price of the over-salted pizza. Offering an espresso or an ice cream is not the solution because we were still hungry. We left the store just as hungry as we came in and paid full price!! NEVER AGAIN!

Tuscolo in Bonn is clearly a popular spot, as locals mentioned, leading to its expansion to a second floor. When we arrived at 6 PM, the ground floor was already full, and the upstairs quickly filled up as well. However, the restaurant seemed overwhelmed by the crowd—our food order was taken only after 1.5 hours, and they forgot two pizzas. Despite the slow service, the food was delicious, with great flavors, and the selection of Italian wines was also impressive. If they can improve their service efficiency, it would be an even better dining experience.

The pizzas are typically very good in Tuscolo, although I find the specialties at the Frankenbad better (and I also find the Frankenbad more comfortable). There is a devaluation for not being able to order tap water - the cheapest alternative (table water) is over €5 for half a liter. With prices for pizzas often exceeding €15, tap water should be offered free of charge.

6 years ago my rating was a 5 star review, but the last time I was there I thought to myself that it was the last time. Since I knew it would be full on the weekend, I made a special reservation. As a group of two, however, you seem to be at the bottom of the food chain. We were initially given a table right by the door, but since it was cold we asked for another one. We were given a low table upstairs directly on the aisle or the table at the counter where waiters usually spend their breaks. After we didn't agree with that either (they're usually always empty because no one wants to sit there), we looked for another one. "They're all reserved," was the curt answer from the first waiter. Then why did we make a reservation? We were about to leave until we were given another table. The restaurant was only half full at the time and many other tables remained empty! Drinks and pizza arrived quickly afterwards and were good as always. But would you like to order more drinks? Not possible. At that point the area was almost empty and there wasn't much going on, but the waiter seemed to prefer talking to his colleagues and also ignored the other customers in the area. We had to go to the counter to pay, where they reacted irritably because there was no tip. The Tuscolo chain itself is good. A few months ago we were in Rheinbach, where the guests are well looked after, but the Tuscolo at Münsterplatz is, as many others have already written, just pure mass processing.

Solid pizza, still huge and delicious, even in a relatively new location like it was 50 years ago on Kaiser-Karl Ring. Slightly higher in price, but still perfectly reasonable. From 7 p.m. onwards, the very large but still cozy store is packed. A reservation is definitely recommended (quick and easy online). The interior concept leaves enough space for each table so that you can have a conversation without shouting at each other.

We've been sitting in Tuscolo for 1.5 hours. There's plenty of time to write a detailed review, BECAUSE - there's no trace of the 4 simple pizzas we ordered over an hour ago. With great difficulty we have been able to get the second round of drinks so far. Not that we were asked about it by the service…. There is no bread or anything like that. We're just getting hungry! When asked, the waiter said this situation was normal and that it was “always like that”. This means there is a serious management problem here! We actually expected that there would be staff shortages or something similar… A side effect of the unbalanced relationship between guests and service staff is very unpleasant conditions in the toilets... Actually, it's not fair to give one star to the “Service” item. The waitresses and waiters give their all here and are very nice. Nevertheless, they feel the displeasure of the guests left and right. Maybe just occupy fewer tables and have satisfied guests...? The pizzas were very good.

Today at 9 p.m. we had dinner at the Tuscolo restaurant. We were surprised that a restaurant like this could employ such a rude and even racist head waiter. While with other German guests he was very friendly, talked a lot and asked if he should pack the rest to take with him, with us he was completely different. After dinner he came to us and cleared the plates without saying a word. Was I deaf at that moment, or did he just want to save his words? I don't speak German, or did he just want to talk to us in English? So far we have never had any bad experiences at Tuscolo. For the first time we were treated like this here because we are foreigners - perfect! Otherwise, the other waiters are very friendly and the food was, as always, delicious.

The location is now always very crowded. Unfortunately, the business expansion didn't really do this former top location any good. The pizza is still very good, but the ambience seems fake and partial already in need of renovation. The toilets are more like a rest stop than a good restaurant. Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars. Maybe we will take the recessions seriously and reflect on our original roots.

A very nostalgic restaurant. Lots of seating options, but it can also get very loud and uncomfortable. Even during the week it is very crowded. The toilets in the ground floor hallway are not the best choice, especially for people sitting right next to them. Otherwise the food tastes good. I would come here again.

Large restaurant with prices like a good Italian restaurant. Would you be allowed to taste the wine before ordering? Absolutely not – “house rule”. Ordered pasta and pizza without parmesan - both came with parmesan. Pizza maximum Mediocre, pasta just mediocre. Service was nice, but not particularly attentive or quick.

I wouldn't come back again. The lasagna makes one doubt that anyone in this kitchen has ever eaten real lasagna. The pasta mush, drowned in tomato sauce, was riddled with an unidentifiable substance, which, with a great deal of imagination, could have been shredded leftover beef, or most likely simply insect meal. In terms of taste, the mixture, which is still lukewarm on the inside, is in no way inferior to the Aldi ready-made sauce. I doubt that this substance is suitable for consumption by Homo Sapiens.

Great pizza and outstanding service! I had the pleasure of visiting this pizza restaurant recently and I have to say it was an amazing experience! The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. The selection of pizzas is impressive - from classic Margherita to creative, unique creations, there is something for every taste. The pizza I ordered was simply outstanding! The dough was thin and crispy, the ingredients were fresh and of the best quality. I particularly liked the selection of delicious, homemade sauces that perfectly rounded off the taste of the pizza. As far as service goes, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome and were served quickly. The waiting time was also very short, which is not always the case with a full restaurant. I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, delicious pizza and great service!

12/31/24 Luckily I found it through Google Maps. Spontaneously enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner here. As you can see from the pictures, the pizzas were HUGE. I've never experienced anything like that. The portion is not manageable. But packing the rest wasn't a problem. In terms of taste it was also a pleasure. The side salad Mista (piccolo/small) was absolutely sufficient for 2 people and tasted excellent. With 2 large drinks and 1 small one, we had 57€. Absolutely justified price-performance ratio. When we are back in Bonn, we will definitely come back again 🤩

Ordered a table for 8 p.m. for New Year's Eve. When we arrived we were told that we had to have eaten by 9 p.m. and that we had to leave the restaurant by 9:15 p.m. There was no notice when booking or on the website. Food now in a separate sheet.

La ensalada era realmente mezcla y sobre todo lechuga. Si te gusta mucho queso en tu pizza, este restaurante es un buen lugar para ti, pero no para mí. Demasiado queso...

Even though it was packed, the service was attentive and the food we ordered came to the table quickly. Due to the size and thin base of the pizza, it unfortunately cooled down quite quickly.

The Tusculo has been a good address for decades. Unfortunately we were totally disappointed today at Tusculo Münsterblick. At our first table it was dripping from the ceiling. The bruscetta was probably older and soggy. The salad was stale. The pizza was incompletely topped and the dough was soggy because it wasn't baked properly. The service slow and listless. It was the afternoon and not really busy. The Tusculo once stood out for its attentive and fast service, even when the store was full. The pizzas were terrific. Those days seem to be over, what a shame.

"Good" 4 /6 The food is great and the service is great. However, I can't cope with the requirement that I'm only allowed to stay for another 2 hours. I HAVE BEEN a regular guest for years and have often enjoyed spending evenings in Tuscolo and spending a few euros. Unfortunately it's over, I don't want to be constantly watched while eating to make sure I leave the table in time. It's a shame, but there are also other nice restaurants in Bonn.

Very tasty aglio e olio. Friendly and fast service despite the pre-Christmas period. I'd love to come back. If the, in my opinion, tasteless and sexist illustration of the men's urinals had been replaced by then, I would find that very pleasant and timely. Either way, thank you for the delicious food! Wir sind spontan hier zum Essen eingekehrt ohne Reservierung, da es uns im Sommer im Außenbereich ganz gut gefallen hat. Der Laden war schon sehr gut besucht, obwohl wir schon um 18 Uhr dort waren. Einen Platz haben wir in der ersten Etage bekommen. Zunächst waren wir in diesem Bereich, der sehr komisch gerochen hat, alleine. Durch die dunkelroten Fliesen an der Wand, hatte es ein wenig was von Schwimmbad-Charakter. Der Kellner war sehr nett und lustig und meinte schon, dass wir sehr bald nicht mehr alleine sein werden. Gesagt und schon geschah es. Es kamen zwei Gesellschaften mit insgesamt ca. 40 Personen. Nachdem wir unsere Pizzen bekamen, die wirklich super lecker waren, war es dann aber nicht mehr möglich, ein Gespräch zu führen. Es war so furchtbar laut, dass wir direkt nach dem Essen fluchtartig die Lokalität verlassen wollten, leider aber der Kellner keinen Blick mehr für uns hatte. Als er uns dann irgendwann wahrgenommen hatte, bat er uns zu sich an die Kasse und wir konnten zahlen. Seinen Humor hatte er nicht verloren ... Fazit ist, die Pizza war sehr gut, hatte einen schönen, dünnen Teig, war geschmacklich top und mehr als ausreichend. Den Innenbereich würden wir allerdings nicht noch einmal aufsuchen.

We spontaneously came here for dinner without a reservation because we really liked the outdoor area in the summer. The store was already very busy, even though we were there at 6 p.m. We got a place on the first floor. At first we were alone in this area, which smelled very strange. The dark red tiles on the wall gave it a bit of a swimming pool feel. The waiter was very nice and funny and said that very soon we would no longer be alone. Said it and it happened. Two parties came with a total of around 40 people. After we got our pizzas, which were really delicious, it was no longer possible to have a conversation. It was so terribly loud that we wanted to leave the restaurant immediately after eating, but unfortunately the waiter didn't have an eye for us. When he noticed us at some point, he asked us to come to the cash register and we could pay. He hadn't lost his sense of humor... The bottom line is that the pizza was very good, had a nice, thin dough, tasted great and was more than sufficient. However, we wouldn't visit the interior again.

So I ate there again. Pizza and salad also good. What brought my rating down significantly were the toilets (and unfortunately not for the first time). On the upper floor it was also pretty old and needed an upgrade. and if the store is always busy, you can invest in something.

The restaurant is quite large, but the cluttered window sills make it look a bit untidy. The service is nice but not accommodating. Had to wait a long time for drinks and well over an hour for food. The salads were sumptuous, the meat was unfortunately cold, the fish was dry and also cold. The pizza wasn't baked through and went back completely. Instead of accommodating the guest, everything was charged for. We were there for the first and last time.
