Everything was great. The food was incredibly delicious, and so was the service. Highly recommended!

The light and shade at the Bonn Tuscolo. The size of the pizza saves the fourth star. All the employees were friendly toward us. At the neighboring table, where impatient guests were waiting for their food, a different tone prevailed. But first things first. The reception was friendly; after being assigned a seat, we first had to clean the seats of the comfortable chairs. The table wasn't exactly clean either. The Insalata Mista and the 40cm Pizza Michelangelo were brought quickly, and both tasted very good. Many guests "only" pick up their food, resulting in a lot of foot traffic, including noise. The value for money is good; Tuscolo is conditionally recommended, but there is room for improvement.

I actually wanted to go out for a nice Italian meal with my family for my birthday. I was familiar with Tuscolo because I had been there several times with friends several years ago. I reserved a table for three people. I had indicated in the comments that we would need a highchair. When we arrived, I showed the reservation and was asked whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose inside. We were shown to a table, but there was no sign of a highchair. We looked at the menu and chose the olives for starters. My wife, who is heavily pregnant, opted for pasta with strips of beef, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. I opted for a pizza half mushroom and half focaccia with arugula and Parmesan cheese. We waited about 20 minutes before we could place our orders. During this time, three waiters stood right next to us and insulted another waiter. I think that's not appropriate out of respect, and especially not in front of guests. After the order was taken, it took less than five minutes for my pizza to arrive on the table, followed by the pasta a minute later, and finally the olives, which were intended as an appetizer. We were very surprised that the food arrived so quickly, and when I ate the first slice of pizza, what can I say? It was ice cold. The Parmesan wasn't even remotely melted. My wife's pasta was also cold. The mushrooms were still raw and had just been thrown into the sauce. The meat was cold. That was the worst birthday meal I've ever had!!!

Delicious Italian restaurant with huge pizzas.

Very nice restaurant, the pizzas were truly delicious! The service was friendly, but we wished they had come around a bit more often, as we would have liked to reorder drinks more often. However, I don't like the tipping option on the payment machine.

The food is excellent; if the weather's nice, you should sit outside. The service still has room for improvement in terms of quality.

Delicious food at a good price-performance ratio

Had a fantastic dinner with friends at Tuscolo! I decided to try the Pizza Primavera, and while my Italian friends raised an eyebrow at my non-traditional choice, I absolutely loved it. The combination of the chicken and cheese was really delicious. Be warned though, the pizzas are huge - definitely come hungry!

Best pizza in Bonn!! I was there this evening and the pizza and the ambience are simply outstanding! Very clear recommendations!

I ordered the Insalata Di Tuscolo to take away and it cost €15.90. What I unpacked at home was a mountain of arugula with lots of cheese, an egg, a bit of tuna and lots of balsamic cream. I picked out the good ones and put them in another bowl, as you can see in the photo. For the money I honestly find it a bit disappointing :(

I recently visited the Tuscolo restaurant located in the city, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to my expectations especially when comparing it to the Tuscolo in the Altstadt of Bonn, which I’ve really enjoyed in the past. The atmosphere was fine and the service was generally polite, but the food didn’t have the same quality or flavor I was used to from the original location. I ordered a dish I’ve had before at the Altstadt branch, but it tasted noticeably different. The seasoning, the texture of the pasta, and even the overall presentation seemed a step down. It just didn’t have that same fresh, authentic feel. While I appreciate the consistency of the menu between locations, I think this particular branch could really benefit from improving the quality and preparation of their pasta dishes. With a little more attention to the standard set by their other restaurant, this location could be just as enjoyable.

Standard Italian restaurant that unfortunately offers neither meat nor fish as warm dishes. Gluten free food is NOT available (except salad). If you like big pizzas, this is the place for you!

We have been regular customers at Frankenbad and Münsterplatz for years. The pizzas are huge and taste incredibly good, the salads are also big and good. But: We only go during the week, even then it is very crowded. We just sit outside: it's so loud inside that conversation is hardly possible. It also smells very strongly of pizza inside. And while reservations are accepted, no tables are kept free. Apparently it is assumed that a table will always become available due to the high fluctuation. There are still chronically too few staff. Our tip: Because of the good pizzas and the beautiful outdoor area on Münsterplatz, it's worth visiting after 8 p.m. on weekdays when the weather is nice: then there's a little less hustle and bustle.

Worst restaurant visit in a long time! We waited a full 30 minutes for our order to be taken, then another hour for the food to arrive - and another hour until we could finally pay. It wasn't just us who were dissatisfied - many other guests were also annoyed. One woman waited over two hours for her food, while her family was ready an hour earlier. Another family had to spend an hour trying to even get a waiter to order something. The food was really tasty, but the service today was simply a disaster. Something like this shouldn't happen - neither in an Italian restaurant nor anywhere else.

The restaurant is generally known very positively. That's why we were shocked by what we learned. We arrived quite late in the week, so it was empty. Nevertheless, the waiter kept waiting. We both ordered a drink and some sort of bruschetta. Strangely enough, the bruschetta arrived after no more than 5 minutes, which seemed to us as if it had been sitting around for a long time and had only been warmed up briefly. The taste confirmed this. The bread was extremely dried out and hard and therefore inedible. The tomatoes were bland and tasteless. We ate quickly, paid and then were on our way. When I got up, I quickly drank the last sip of my beer, whereupon the waiter rushed up and accused me of trying to steal the beer glass. I was in shock. We left the restaurant very dejected and won't be coming back.

Price-performance ratio is no longer right. Just a shame ☹️

We have been loyal guests to the Tuscolo restaurant for many years - both privately and for business. Unfortunately, we recently discovered that the prices had been raised significantly and, in our opinion, disproportionately. A pizza tonno for just under €15 and a pizza with scampi for almost €20 - that's hard to understand for an Italian restaurant of this type. Of course, we understand that increased costs can also lead to price adjustments. But such a large increase in almost all dishes seems excessive - especially compared to general inflation. For families or larger groups, a visit becomes almost a luxury or short vacation! For this reason, I cannot and will no longer recommend Tuscolo in a business environment. A pizzeria remains a pizzeria - and should also remain affordable for everyday use. It's a shame to see this development, because we enjoyed being guests for a long time. This is not a nasty criticism, but rather honest feedback from the perspective of long-standing regular customers.

Been there many times as part of a larger party, between 8-15 people, once a group of over 50. Pizza is super good (you can get halb/halb) and at table service is efficient and friendly. Service at the entrance door is rather less friendly and there is a bit of a feeling of mass catering. The place is big, often full and could do with a change of decor. But all in all it comes with a good recommendation. Reliably good.

Staff, unfriendly and not very attentive. They also argue loudly with each other. Bruschetta was very dry, you had to look for arugula on pizza, and I waited in vain for chili oil. It's also a shame that the pasta dishes for the children were at the table 15 minutes after the pizza.

Highly recommended restaurant at Bonn. The place it’s judge, don’t worry if you see a long line, they are super fast and also the food service it’s really really fast considering that it’s full. The pizza was super good, they are pet friendly and accepted card. The ambient and the service are super good also.

We were there on a Saturday evening, four of us with children. Table was ok, high chair was brought as requested. We paid a total of almost €100 without desserts. The service was fine. Neither more nor less. For example, I explicitly asked for bread with the soup, but it was missing. And when I mentioned this briefly, they barely let me finish and simply turned away - super rude and simply not appropriate for the establishment. At least: we got the bread. And for food, well. I just didn't think it was good enough for the price. It was okay, but the pizza wouldn't have been worth the €20 to me. The solution? Next time somewhere else.

I'm a big fan of Tuscolo at Frankenbad, so I was really looking forward to visiting here. Unfortunately, the pasta didn't convince me this time - it wasn't al dente and the taste was below my usual level. In addition, an extra charge was charged for changing the type of pasta without prior agreement - I found that to be less than transparent. I would like to positively emphasize the friendly service of the waiter.

Unfortunately, I have to correct my old rating today and deduct two stars. Unfortunately, quality has deteriorated significantly. Fettuccine Al Salmone are overcooked. Soft…. It doesn't taste like the Italian one anymore. Portions have become small. I am attaching photos to compare. I have been a guest at Tuscolo Frankenbad and Münsterblik since 2009.

Schade! Das Tuscolo Münsterblick war immer unser Lieblingsrestaurant, aber auch wir müssen bestätigen, dass das Essen geschmacklos und ungewürzt geworden ist. Hähnchen überkocht (aber ohne jedes Salz!). Wir fragten nach Salz, bekamen aber bis zum Ende keinen Streuer (zumindest entschuldigte sich der Kellner dafür). Halb/Halb Pizza war lieblos belegt, und die Diacolo-Seite mit ihren 10 kleinen Scheiben Salami ihre 17 Euro nicht wert (vor allem im Vergleich zu anderen Belagsmöglichkeiten!). Pizza hätte noch eine gute Minute im Ofen vertragen. Wirklich schade.

We went out to dinner yesterday, dear Melina served us, it was the most beautiful evening, she was really sweet

We were in the restaurant with a group of 10 people. We had already reserved the table in February 2025. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were around 100 people standing in front of the restaurant who had also reserved a table for 7 p.m. and were waiting to be let in. At 7:40 p.m. we were taken to our table. There was no apology for the delay. When we asked the waiter after half an hour if we could order drinks, his colleague said he would be there soon. Another 10 minutes passed when another very unfriendly waitress arrived. When we wanted to order appetizers she said no, we could only order pizza. Everything else takes too long. Noodles for at least 1.5 hours. In a tone that was absolutely cheeky. We have placed our order incl. Pasta and appetizers and drinks. At 9 p.m. we asked again when the starters would finally arrive. Otherwise, if nothing comes up, we would leave again. Drinks were brought in the meantime. Tables were not set, no pizza rolls, no apology. Just an impossible waitress. At 9:30 p.m. we brought the menager to the table. Some of the tables around us had meanwhile left the restaurant and left without eating. At 9:40 p.m. the noodles arrived (but the wrong ones). No pizza in sight yet. They then wanted to pack appetizers for us to take away. We rejected that. We would have liked to eat the appetizers before the pizza or pasta. We got our pizza at 10 p.m. The food was good, there's no other way to say that. But the service and this rude waitress are an absolute no go. We have never experienced being able to finally eat after 3 hours in any restaurant. A totally overcrowded restaurant, overwhelmed staff - that's not possible in the catering industry. We were not satisfied guests and we would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

The food at Touscolo was really delicious. I would give it four to five stars. However, the service last Saturday was a disaster. Everything took far too long and was communicated very poorly. It took 30 minutes to place the order and when asked if we could order, the waitress rolled her eyes. After another 20 minutes the drinks came and another 20 minutes later the starter. We had to wait another 60 minutes for the main course and in the meantime we weren't even asked if we wanted any more drinks. Requesting the bill also took an eternity and I managed to do so by speaking directly to a waiter. I can understand that it is difficult to maintain service at a high level in such a large restaurant when there is a lack of service staff. However, you should also communicate this or simply not occupy part of the restaurant and accept fewer guests. It's a shame to give a restaurant so few stars even though the food tastes very good.

Nachdem man uns 45 Minuten nach dem Termin hereingefallen konnten wir 45 Minuten nach dem Betreten des Restaurants die Bestellun aufgeben. Tisch reserviert für 19:00, Essen kam um 21:45 nach mehrmaliger Bescwerde. Restaurant war komplett überbucht mit Tischresevierrungen.Katastrophe.

We (ourselves from the catering industry) can just shake our heads here. Nobody on the Tuscolo team can surround themselves with criticism. We've eaten there twice. We can also understand if something is more stressful on the weekend. But let's start from the beginning...We spontaneously decided to eat here. We had 2 tables to choose from. We chose drinks, starter, main course...we didn't have dessert. First we received our soup. 5 minutes later our drinks arrived. Ok, it can happen...but it shouldn't The soup was very simple and was just too watery to eat. We also told the waiter this. Our empty plates were only put away after about 25 minutes. The break between starter and main course simply took too long. After 45 minutes the main course was brought to us. I had a baked dish with cream sauce...it was so runny. The dish wasn't in the oven properly. The waitress took the food away without comment. When my partner finished eating the same dish came back . It went back into the oven. The cheese was completely burnt. You couldn't eat it like that. The waitresses give the feeling that they want to escape..We were served by 4 different waiters that evening..really everyone had an annoyed look, unfriendly, super stressed..In the kitchen you could hear the staff swearing..other guests felt exactly the same as us..guests got up after they weren't served. Guests got up because they felt so uncomfortable. I felt that too...the mood was tense among the whole team, no apologies, criticism is covered up...it goes in here and out there. A waiter was the top guy...he vomited on other guests who were dissatisfied...I just wanted to pay quickly and escape. I felt so uncomfortable. ...I've never even had anything like that at Frankfurt Central Station. The staff who worked in the kitchen also walked around people with carts, garbage, food. Very, very bad. Uncomfortable, bad climate, negative energy, loveless food, annoyed staff,... Unfortunately, it's all not worth it. I'm really someone who likes to address the points on the spot. But the staff didn't give a shit about our opinion. There was also no real apology from the heart. With an empty stomach... we drove 95 km home. Small mistakes can happen but friendliness must not be missing Maybe the staff should be better trained and distributed correctly... Catastrophic. We were able to place our drink order after 1 hour and waited 2 1/2 hours for our food. The pizza was good, but we were no longer hungry.

Complete breakdown of service. Saturday April 5th Reserved from 7 p.m. We were surprised to see a queue of around 100 people, all of whom had reserved for 7 p.m. First we waited in line outside for 20 minutes. We got the table at 7:20 p.m. after a few changes. The first order was taken around 8 p.m. and food arrived at 9:30 p.m. Various tables got up and left. The food was delicious, but we won't be back because too much went wrong, despite the 50% compensation discount.

Always a real Italian restaurant

Difficult. We were there with 6 people on Saturday evening with a reservation. We were placed. We didn't get any tickets. We took a German and English menu from the neighboring table. Our order was later taken. The starter came after 90 minutes. Unfortunately, in the meantime we were not asked for any other drinks. There was also no communication with our waitress. When we asked after 2 hours when our main course would arrive, the waitress didn't come back. After 10 minutes I asked the second waiter, who couldn't answer the question either. But the insured should come back immediately and inform us. We wait in vain. After another 10 minutes we went to the cash register, canceled the main course and only agreed to pay for the drinks. I have never experienced such bad service. The next table just put money on the table for the drinks and left. The bad thing wasn't the waiting, as there were several of us and we wanted to have a cozy evening with friends and had plenty of time. But the lack of communication, no asking whether we would like something to drink or need anything else is not possible. And if the guest asks and no one comes back, catastrophe...

Service was unfriendly and listless, we had to go downstairs to reorder because no one was interested, we asked about bread with the salad (it's explicitly stated on the menu and we know from Siegburg that fresh bread is always included), an annoyed "it wasn't added to me downstairs", but then brought limp old pizza bread. Salad portions smaller than in Siegburg and salad no longer tasted fresh. Some pizzas were burnt on one side because they were not fully topped, other pizzas were taken out of the oven much too early. The payment process was also annoying and unfriendly. I'm wondering what's going on in Bonn? Never go there again, but would love to go to Tuscolo in Siegburg. It's a shame that the quality is so different.

The pizza is really very good. For me one of the best in the Cologne/Bonn area. Unfortunately we didn't like the prices and the service. I was particularly annoyed that I was charged €17 for my pizza, which I ordered with mushrooms and ham, even though these pizzas cost €13 each individually. I didn't have any more topping than with the individual variants and even then it would be a hefty price for extra topping. Unfortunately, there are not enough waiters for the size of the store. We were no longer asked for drinks etc. in between.

We would have liked to eat, but after having to wait more than a hundred minutes, we left. Unfortunately still hungry. Difficult when you obviously have too many places for too few staff. Despite a reservation, we were placed outside without asking, where it was far too cold. After more than an hour of freezing, there was no food, drinks or a waiter at the table or the neighboring tables, so we left the restaurant.

We reserved a table for 7:15 p.m. and waited in front of the door for 30 minutes until we were escorted to the table. After another 30 minutes we were allowed to place the order. It's now 8:35 p.m. We haven't had any drinks or food yet 🤔 Edit The food came at 9:15 p.m. Conclusion: organizationally an absolute disaster. No excuse. Nothing at all. Not recommended.

Disastrous service, terrible ambience. It took more than 1.5 hours for half of the order to come to the table. 4 small children had to continue to wait. Then another 15 minutes until the rest came. When previously asked how long it would take, the only answer was a tight-lipped “Listen”. However, there was no response from the waitress, no further requests for drinks, even though the glasses were empty on the table after the long wait and all the waiters were running around the room hectically, bustling and ignoring them. Pizzas and pastas were okay, but really nothing special. Overpriced for the price. When we asked to pay, another ten minutes passed, so I asked for the bill at the counter. After describing the long waiting time, the waitress didn't comment, just pulled out the card terminal for cardless payment. At the neighboring tables there were similarly long waiting times of 1.5 to 2 hours. What a shame, Tuscolo! It really doesn't work that way! Never again, even though we've been there several times before.

I did a trial day at this restaurant a few months ago – and what I experienced was simply dubious and unprofessional. The supposed boss hired me and other applicants, some of whom were still minors, directly for trial days, gave us a contract at the end, and said we were hired. Weeks later, after I asked for the contract, this "boss" was suddenly gone. It turned out he no longer worked at this branch – and our contract? It had never been valid. Of course, we had submitted our information long ago, and we were promised a job, but ultimately we simply worked for free. In addition to this questionable practice, the working atmosphere is also disastrous: The waiters treat each other terribly, and during my trial, I saw that the food was anything but appetizing. Anyone who values ​​fairness, hygiene, and a professional environment should avoid this restaurant.

They don't serve you if you don't speak German. Shame on you! I even tried to make a phone reservation, when asked in English if i can make a reservation he replied "only Deutch" and hanged up the phone! Very rude! Avoid such a "restaurant"!

Great pizzas, salads so-so. What was bad was the wine, which was half warm. The service was a bit helpless. It had something of a fast pace to it, rather than a cozy atmosphere.

We got a table in the front area when we reserved - a bit loud and restless, but still a nice atmosphere. My requests to close the door when it was almost 3 degrees were also complied with 😅

I really don't get the hype around this place. Have been here twice through an invitation, and a third time to give it a chance. I have tried starters, pasta, pizza and salad. The pizza is okay but pasta and salads are absolutely not worth the price. The ingredients are always overcooked (meat and seafood), and additional bread dry, chewy and hard at the same time. Would be willing to pay 50-60% of the price to consider it fair. As for the ambiente: Nice interior but not well maintained. The toilets are always dirty (we came once even before 7 pm - so before the peak time), 1/2 sinks didn't work, the door knob was broken. As for the service: Just okay, mediocre to low speed (especially when you want to pay). They were not interested in our food feedback at all. I gave it a fair chance, but would not come back again

Today I experienced the most outrageous service and not particularly tasty food in this restaurant. First about the food: We came here again after a long time to try the pasta dishes, as the kitchen was previously renovated and therefore no pasta was served for a long time. After trying them today, we wonder if the kitchen team has been changed because the taste was really very ordinary. The biggest disaster, however, was the service. When we asked an employee to bring the bill, he simply replied, “No.” This answer shocked us, but we thought maybe he was too busy - even though the restaurant was only about a third full at the time. After about ten minutes he finally came. When we paid, he asked directly if we would leave a tip. Since he hadn't taken our order or served our food, I decided against it. When it was my companion's turn, the waiter said directly: "The same game? Is it your culture not to tip?" (We are all Asian.) I've lived in Germany for nine years and have been to countless restaurants, but this was the first time I've experienced such rude service. I think we won't come back.

Very nice place. We had dinner. The service is very good n friendly. Top quality pizza. Recommended.

Unfortunately, the rating of Tuscolo in our eyes has dropped ( 1. if there used to be pasta in a milk(?) sauce, which our daughter really liked, now there is no pasta at all. 2. if there used to be pizza seasoning in bottles on the tables, now there is none 3. service.. the amount we gave the waiter was clearly more than the amount indicated on the check and we pointed out 2 times that the rest should be 15 euros (including tips) but for some reason we got 10 euros, of course I didn't explain anything to anyone because of the 5 euros, we just looked at each other with my wife and thanked her, but as they say: an unpleasant aftertaste remained ( ...unfortunately, I have to add an unpleasant aftertaste again, a year later.. namely: the first time I ate overcooked pizza here, you could say that you were so lucky, maybe) but later, during my lunch, the whole pizzeria I smelled something burnt on the stove).. and 2. the waitress was clearly also a trainee, because I had seen before (and now I have, but unfortunately not in Bonn) what service should be like in Tuscolo (!)

Good food, friendly service, unfortunately very loud, and the women's toilets on the ground floor were a disaster, dirty and no paper

A very good Italian in the city. The pizzas are very large and simply brilliantly prepared. A clear recommendation worth looking for if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine. In terms of service -> everything was very good We will come again.

Had ordered pasta pesto e buratta, got pasta buratta. I asked for Tabasco and was given hot oil. Not so good.

Pizza was ok. Service inattentive. When you came you were ignored. Then there was a long wait at the table to order and also for the food. Guests who arrived later had their food quite a while before me. Much better and friendly service in Siegburg and Troisdorf. Yes, then only Siegburg or Troisdorf for a good pizza.

Ordered 7 pizzas. Didn't come. Nobody answers the phone in the restaurant. Money gone for now.

Wir sind immer sehr gerne ins Tuscolo essen gegangen. Aber leider hat dieser Standpunkt sehr nachgelassen. Die Pizza ( wie immer ) sehr groß , aber geschmacklos . Qualität vor Quantität ! Das Personal freundlich . Die Damentoilette dermaßen ungepflegt ( hinterließ den Eindruck , dass sich schon seit Tagen ! Keiner darum gekümmert hat )

Nice Italian restaurant in the center of Bonn with lots of tables. The pizzas are very large, thin dough and properly topped. Tastes very good. Despite plenty of staff, the supply of drinks left a lot to be desired (the food was quicker than the beer).

I was eating at this restaurant and wanted to take the rest with me. The employee said that wouldn't be a problem. As soon as I turned around, my pizza was just thrown away! Really disappointing... the service really needs to be better.

Arrived with no reservation on Valentines Day, despite a brief wait still got a quick placement on a table, a service that catered to our engagement and conversations and looked out for the table and without a doubt some amazing House Chardonnay and absolutely delicious and authentic Pizzas and Pasta. Tip: Their classic selections on the left in the menu seem to be much more authentic than the specials - if thats what you are looking for.
