Ordered food for pickup. Everything was delicious and ready on time as agreed. We'd be happy to go again.

I really like the place, but today I was a bit confused and wondering what was going on. I looked at the prices of the other pizzas for the first time. I always order the Vegetaria pizza without cheese for €16.90. Even the pizza with prawns and other animal products doesn't come close to that price. They're all €12-14. Why? It's vegetable.

Tuscolo made the best pizza in Bonn. They have a different chef now, and the pizza only tastes like the ones in the lower segment. It was bound to happen at some point.

We ordered three pizzas, two of which were incorrect. They told us over the phone that those pizzas weren't available. I'm just wondering why they couldn't tell us that over the phone and delivered a different one instead.

The health department has closed the business? Seriously? Mold, mouse droppings, and unsealed food. You're one of the well-known restaurants in Bonn. I wouldn't have expected that. The local press in Bonn is currently reporting on hygiene deficiencies in Bonn businesses.

Our visit today was very disappointing. Although we live in Rheinbach and there's a Tuscolo there, we went to the Tuscolo at Frankenbad because of the great atmosphere. The service was completely overworked. As a result, we didn't feel the attention we usually get at Tuscolo. Since we constantly had to wait for a server to come near us, a relaxing experience was impossible. Our dog didn't get water, we weren't asked for dessert/espresso when our plates were cleared, and we had to ask for the bill twice. We won't be back.

Super delicious pizza! Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant wasn't great. With our toddler, we had to wait a long time just to have our order taken, and then for the rest of the food as well. The seats were quite close together, which was a bit uncomfortable given the number of people there. It's better to pick up the pizza.

We ordered two takeaway pizzas from this Italian restaurant over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. Both pizzas had a truly delicious, savory, and fresh flavor; the delicate crust was beautifully thin and crispy. The pizzas were also larger than expected, with generous and visually appealing toppings that we found to be fresh. We found them to be among the best pizzas we've eaten in years and can definitely recommend a pizza from this restaurant, especially since the price is absolutely reasonable. After calling ahead, our food was ready for pickup in just 15 minutes. The restaurant, with its terrace along the street, made a really nice impression, and the staff was very friendly. If we ever visit this part of Bonn again, we would definitely visit this restaurant and try more of the dishes on offer.

After our experience yesterday, this was our last visit! Mass processing, food carelessly slapped onto plates, inattentive service, prices unreasonably high for the quality delivered. There are better Italian restaurants in Bonn.

Solid cuisine, but the price-performance ratio is no longer right. The pizzas are good as usual – thin crusts, hearty toppings, and flavorful. The pasta is also impressively handcrafted, but the portion size is too small for the price. The limoncello, unfortunately, was a disappointment: watery, lacking in flavor, nothing like what you'd expect. Overall, the impression is that the restaurant is relying too heavily on its long-standing hype. The drinks, in particular, are disproportionate to the quality.

It's nicely decorated and clean. The food was quite good. The first server was a bit grumpy. It's a shame if guests notice that. The ones who came after were better. We had a pizza and a pasta dish. Not outstanding, but good.

The day after eating a Primavera, I vomited everything up again for several hours. I have no idea what was in it, but it gave me and my colleague food poisoning. When something like that happens, you can only say negative things about the store.

Beautiful location. Friendly service. Unfortunately, parking wasn't great. The pizzas were larger than the thin-crust plate. The salad was good, but with a bit too much dressing. The appetizer plate looked excellent. We all enjoyed our meal.

I thought long and hard about whether to write this review. But since this has happened several times before, I have to do it now, in the hope that things will improve. About the process: I tried to order three pizzas by phone last week. First, the person in charge, Sergio, didn't answer the phone for at least 60 minutes. He was standing at the entrance, as I could see this from the hotel. Then, at some point, he answered the phone, completely disinterested and unfocused. When I went to pick up the pizzas for our meeting, two of them were also wrong. The whole thing seemed very unprofessional, and that shouldn't be the case in a business that's been around for so long! I hope this changes as soon as possible!

The pizza was delicious, but unfortunately, there were fewer toppings than before, and the price was much higher. The value for money is no longer as good.

In my opinion, Tuscolo at Frankenbad makes the best pizza in Bonn. I go there often, including with my guests. The other food is of good quality, but the pizza stands out.

The night before last I had dinner with my uncle and aunt at Tuscolo Frankenbad in Bonn. The pizza I ordered was gigantic and delicious; one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. And mind you: my bar is really high, I am not saying this lightly. The service was fast. The price-quality is excellent. I am already looking forward to the next time.

Today, after a visit to the museum at the August Macke House, we stopped at Tuscolo with our local history society for a meal with 20 people. Everything went perfectly! Everything was just perfect. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, and the food was truly delicious. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, pizza is just average, toppings sparse. What use is a huge flatbread of dough that sticks out over the edge of the plate if there is no topping 4 to 5 cm from the edge of the pizza? The knives are absolutely rubbish, so dull, you have to be careful that the pizza doesn't end up on the table next to you when you try to cut it. New guests have to stand stupidly in the entrance area and wait for the head usher, who also takes care of collecting guests until they are assigned a seat.

Der Betrieb erscheint mir extrem schlecht organisiert. Service ist offenbar nur angelernt und sehr unaufmerksam. Klassische italienische Fleischgerichte habe ich nicht gefunden. Sehr convenience und Tuscolo bekommt Franchise Charakter.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was very tasty, but the portions we got were subpar; even a child wouldn't be satisfied with it. Something definitely went wrong. Since we had ordered take-away food, we were unfortunately no longer able to make a complaint on site. Price-performance wasn't right here. For the price, the pasta dishes should also be portioned for an adult. We were still hungry after our meal. Very disappointing.

We've been there several times in the past, the pizzas are good, unfortunately not quite as nice....we were also immediately told to be welcomed for 2 people, only at the table for 2 where everything was free, so we hurried...we were out again in 40 minutes...you can do that

Das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr lecker, aber innerhalb von zwei Wochen habe ich zwei enttäuschende Erfahrungen mit dem Service gemacht. Dieser ist unaufmerksam, erst bekommt man keine Karte und dann wird entweder gar nicht abgeräumt oder man wird nicht gefragt, ob man noch etwas bestellen möchte. Auch das Bezahlen funktionierte nicht ohne Aufforderung. Und das selbst wenn man direkt neben der Bar sitzt, wo ständig Personal vorbeiläuft.

We haven't visited Tuscolo for a long time, which was obviously not a good idea because yesterday's performance was really, really good. We could choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs and had a nice table by the window. Pizza was flawless, hot, great dough, the appetizer platter was generous and the service was prompt and friendly. The last time we had such good pizza was in Bologna. Furthermore, requests for changes are no problem at all and fortunately there is ice-cold Peroni. There's a Tuscolo around the corner, but it can't compete with this restaurant by any means. We'll definitely be back soon.

If you are really hungry, try the pizza, for the rest, chooe whatever you like. The staff is really friendly, and the location is excellent. Make sure to reserve a table in time.

Top pizza, highly recommended! One point deducted due to service: Even if there is a lot to do, there is no reason not to be nice. Well, at least the espresso that wasn't served wasn't charged for. That's why I'll happily go there again with colleagues.

Whatever the reason, pizza is so much tastier here than at the Münster. Fluffy and crispy at the same time and deliciously topped. Maybe I should take the further route more often 😉🤗👍🏼

When visiting Bonn, you must try this Italian restaurant it’s truly one of the best. You can tell it’s authentic from the rich aromas that stay with you even after you leave. The food is outstanding, comparable to what you would find in Italy itself. It’s a true go-to spot for anyone who appreciates real Italian cuisine.

I love Tuscolo's pizza and often eat there with friends, especially when someone comes to visit me. The food is usually excellent and the service is friendly and attentive – always a very good experience overall. Unfortunately, things were different on our last visit. The waitress who served us spoke to us in a rather condescending tone. When I wanted to order a pizza with two different halves (which apparently wasn't possible), she said, "Do you know what I mean?" in a way that made us uncomfortable. I understand German, but since it's not my native language, I sometimes ask questions or need a moment to process information - that shouldn't be a problem. Later, the plates and the bill were placed on the table rather abruptly and there was hardly any question as to whether we would like anything else. Overall, this time the visit felt rather unfriendly and distant, almost arrogant. We have always found Tuscolo to be a place where you feel welcome - often someone will ask how the food was or where we are from, which is a nice personal touch. Unfortunately we missed that this time. I hope that was an exception because I actually really enjoy coming here.

We wanted to eat pizza with my family (9 people) after a trip. We had reserved and because we arrived at the restaurant at 5 p.m., not every table was occupied. To say it straight away, every single dish was okay. Personally, I have the feeling that the quality there has declined in recent years, or at least there are fluctuations, but my family was happy with the food. What has been bothering us for a long time is the service and everything else. You feel like you're in a pizza chain and everything is just mass production. I think even the lostaria is doing better in terms of service. The head waitress at Frankenbad (at least she pretends) doesn't have her tables under control. Orders are not taken on time and not just at our table. These are things that I can somehow still accept in a pizzeria. Still annoying, of course. What doesn't work at all are warm drinks, the main course (pizza) which comes during the starter and the pasta which comes almost 10 minutes later like the pizza. When asked about these circumstances, the "head waitress" only replied that it was the kitchen's fault. It's also good to have a boss like that. What you can say about this is that the time management in Tuscolo hasn't been good for a long time and I have the feeling that they... don't care. The main thing is that the guests leave quickly and the tables are free. I doubt whether this is a concept for a family restaurant. For me, Tuscolo has developed into a bad franchise restaurant.

Ordered food to pick up. I arrive and see the pizzas on the table. Ask the bearded, Arabic waiter if these are our pizzas. He says: I'm still responsible. I asked him to take a quick look, otherwise he would get cold, and mentioned the best order. He looked and said no. 5 minutes later the colleague comes and the order was placed. He deliberately lied to me because he didn't feel like it, that's not possible! impudence

Today we unfortunately had to realize how badly the staff were treated with one another. There were complaints that colleagues were too slow, they were constantly spoken to in an unfriendly manner by colleagues, and sometimes younger colleagues were treated unpleasantly and used as errand boys. As a guest you noticed an unpleasant atmosphere on site! You could tell straight away that some of the staff felt extremely uncomfortable there

There were three of us and we ate different dishes. Everyone at the table was very satisfied with their food, the service and the extremely short waiting time. My super delicious pizza was topped with lots of shrimp, plenty of salmon and four king prawns - mega. Best pizza ever...

Food is great, but the waiter managed to do it with 3 women and a man at the table where one of the women specifically said that she was paying, but between all the women she put the bill between the man and the man and specifically addressed him about it

Unfortunately, my birthday dinner at Tuscolo in Bonn was a disappointment. Despite reservations for a nice table, our table was not free. We were seated at a table right in front of the toilets, the door of which was broken and was constantly in danger of falling over. That was very dangerous with my one-year-old daughter. Unfortunately the service was really bad. The older Italian waiter was unfriendly and unmotivated. He didn't seem to care about the broken door and told another guest that the door had been broken for a long time and that the boss knew about it but wasn't sending any repairmen. We asked for another table because the space was too dangerous for us, especially because of our daughter. The waiter was annoyed and said he would clean a table straight away. We had to bring our drinks and cutlery to the other table ourselves because he simply left again. We had to ask several times for a child's chair, even though it was obvious that one was needed and that was stated when making the reservation. When the food came, my husband got the wrong dish, which we wanted to point out straight away, but the waiter had already left. Another table had my husband's food, it could still be exchanged, but there was no apology. The food was delicious, but the incredibly poor service unfortunately spoiled my birthday a bit.

Begun when taking the order, we had to wait at least 20 minutes and ask several times until the food was served, which was staggered and 2 out of 3 people only got the food 30 minutes later, while one person waited until the food got cold. None of the employees felt responsible. Asking - no matter which waiter - leads to nothing. Conclusion: Everything is very tedious, hectic and not customer-oriented.

We had reserved a table for three people in the Tuscolo Restaurant by phone and mentioned directly that there would be children. We asked for a quieter place because it's just more pleasant with children. However, when we arrived we were told there were no reservations - even though we had definitely made them. Additionally, I was asked to leave the stroller outside. I found that to be very child-unfriendly. A stroller is simply a must - especially when the baby sleeps in it, as was the case with us. Of course I took him in with me. Unfortunately, the assigned table was not in a quiet corner, but in the middle of the passage - absolutely unsuitable for a visit with a child. Unfortunately, the service also left a lot to be desired: When we politely asked to cut the pizza, we were answered unfriendly: “This is not a pizzeria.” A few minutes later someone came to cut them - although we had already done it ourselves. This type of communication simply does not fit into a good service experience. The next unpleasant point: We found a hair in one of our dishes (the pasta). This kind of thing is unhygienic and shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this class. What was even more disappointing was that this dish was still on the bill as normal. We were offered dessert as an apology - which we generally see as a nice gesture - but a dish with a hair shouldn't be charged. This time the food was also not convincing in terms of taste. The pizza was disappointing - I know of many better alternatives. I was here once about two years ago and was quite satisfied back then, but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly since then. Conclusion: Unfortunately this was the last visit to Tuscolo for us.

The Tuscolo probably has its best days behind it. The pizzas: no trace of passion, but prepared with great disinterest and randomness. In terms of taste, it's more of a homage to boredom. The pizza base is neither light, soft nor porous, but develops geological properties as it cools and works defiantly against the knife. In addition, there is a hectic service that knows how to nip any sense of comfort in the bud. Too bad.

Tuscolo am Frankenbad is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant. The pizzas are super tasty, well topped and huge. I also eat pasta often, it's also very tasty. No matter when I go there, it's always full, but I've never been turned away, there's always a place with a short wait.

Very tasty food 😋 But the cutlery was a nightmare. Blunt knives and even with forks the pizza couldn't be put on skewers and held in place. The furnishings should also be revised a bit.

To finish, we had a delicious tartufo, a strong espresso, and an aromatic grappa – exactly what you imagine an Italian lunch break to be. The service was super attentive and courteous, which made the visit all the more enjoyable. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine and a great atmosphere. Wir waren heute nach sehr langer Zeit mal wieder im Tuscolo am Frankenbad - der letzte Besuch müsste 10 Jahre her sein. Was das Thema Pizza angeht, haben wir uns mittlerweile durch unsere Urlaube auf Sardinien, an der ligurischen Küste und in Florenz kulinarisch einfach weiterentwickelt. Die beste Pizza in Bonn gibt es hier irgendwie leider nicht mehr. Die Pastagerichte waren lecker aber auch nicht wirklich überragend. Was die Antipasti angeht, ist sie leider immer noch so extrem kalt wie vor 10 Jahren. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir sind leider irgendwie keine Tuscolo-Fans mehr.

We went to dinner with friends this evening, I ate pasta with cream sauce and my daughter ate pizza and both dishes were incredibly delicious. I hope I spelled the name Dijvar correctly 😂 he was the only positive employee in the place with his friendly, helpful and excellent aura. I think the other employees did not seem to be working very willingly due to the intensity, but the food was simply excellent.

Unfriendly and rude staff! The unfriendly person is the tall, young waiter with the beard. I was there to order food and pick it up later. He asked me if I was drunk! What a disgrace! When my husband picked up the food later, the waiter told him that the woman (me) was totally drunk! I have never experienced such impudence from a waiter. Waiter is there to take orders and he is not supposed to comment anything! What's more: when we picked it up, the pizza was totally cold, even though the time of pick-up was expressly mentioned.
