The atmosphere is classic and cozy. The food is varied and delicious. The drinks are original and truly excellent.

I've been eating very, very well here for years.

A solid restaurant serving Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. It's generally a bit cheaper, and the food is good. A big plus is that they accept card payments. What's a little odd is the poor ventilation. I'm no expert, but I really wonder if the extractor fan is working properly. You can put your clothes in the washing machine after eating there.

We ordered from Thai Viet Street Food in Bonn for the second time and were unfortunately disappointed both times. We ordered the Nuey Todd (cheese balls), and both times we received spring rolls instead. The first time, they couldn't help us on the phone due to a communication breakdown and the fact that the restaurant was already closed. The second time, no one answered the phone at all. It's unacceptable that we received the wrong food TWICE and, of course, we didn't receive a refund for the price difference. We will definitely not be ordering from them again.

Thai Viet is a small, unassuming eatery, but that's precisely its charm. They serve authentic Asian cuisine – from Vietnamese summer rolls and Thai curries to sushi. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and the portions are generous. I especially enjoyed the homemade wontons and the fresh summer rolls. The curries are also aromatic, and those who like it spicy will certainly get their fill. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. The restaurant has limited seating, so it's best suited for takeout or a quick bite. If you're looking for a fancy atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. But for tasty, honest street food at a good price, Thai Viet is just the ticket.

Recently, my orders have been canceled multiple times – regardless of the time of day. It's noticeable that this only happens with orders placed through Uber Eats, and especially when the minimum order value of €12 is exactly reached. Unfortunately, this practice strikes me as unprofessional and lacking in customer service. Reliable order acceptance and transparent communication would be desirable.

They are really hospitable and attends to customers need efficiently. But I just really think they should remove Thai from their name as their foods doesn't really have a thai taste. Ordered Pad thai and taste is far from pad thai in thailand. Papaya salat is also maybe more of Vietnamese taste as it is not sour enough and not mostly papaya on the dish.

After a long trip to Southeast Asia last summer, which included a cooking school, I spent a long time searching for a good Vietnamese and Thai restaurant. I stumbled upon this place by chance after a visit to a hardware store. It's truly the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to in Germany, by far. The guys are fast, the food is incredibly delicious, and it's also really affordable. It's quite a hidden gem. The pho bo, served Thai spicy, is insanely good.

I accidentally found a metal wire in my food! Who knows if smaller metal pieces have already been swallowed by mistake. That's just incredibly negligent.

A truly fantastic restaurant! Fresh, fast, delicious – exactly what you'd want. Good selection, fair prices, and friendly service. My new favorite spot for Asian food in the area!

I didn't like it at all. I've never had this kind of food on my vacations in Thailand. The salad was a disaster. The curry was far too runny (like a watery soup).

Be careful! The people who work there are extremely disrespectful. I've never encountered such disrespect. The food is also rather poor. Ridiculous employees. It's not a problem not speaking German AND English, but then they're so extremely disrespectful. Unbelievable.

FOLLOW-UP 2025: My sweetheart and I are now regular customers here. Whenever we're in Bonn, a visit to Thai Viet Street Food is a must. The dishes are incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and generously sized. The menu and interior are lovingly designed, and the service is always super friendly – ​​the value for money is truly outstanding! We now even have a stamp card. My favorite spot when I'm hungry! The motto on the menu says it all: Delicious, good, fast, friendly service, affordable, and...really nicely decorated. I like to get takeout from here sometimes. The Vietnamese and Thai cuisine are also very healthy! Staying and eating in is also worthwhile: the walls, tablecloths, and the wooden counter are eye-catching. The view – overlooking the busy Endenicher Straße and the Bauhaus parking lots across the street – is less worthwhile. However, it's very conveniently located, both by car and bus. Cash only.

Super delicious food at fair prices. The more expensive dishes are truly delicious. The drinks are also exceptionally good, especially the homemade versions. The only drawback is sometimes the lack of communication with the always friendly staff during off-peak times.

The food is truly amazing! The ingredients are cooked to perfection and the flavor is top-notch. Delivery via Uber Eats was beyond terrible. The packaging was ripped open, and the sauce was halfway across the hallway.

Extremely unfriendly operator, he completely freaked out because I wanted to pay less than 15 euros in cash and hadn't seen the small note on the order card, even though it says "Apple Pay" in big letters on the door. The food was mediocre, but I'll never go back!

A cross between a snack bar and a restaurant. I go there occasionally, usually around lunchtime, but sometimes in the evening. The food is delicious and fresh, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere isn't particularly cozy, but it's perfectly fine for a snack. Service is very friendly. A good recommendation for lunch; if you're looking for a nice, relaxed or even formal meal, this isn't the place for you.

Restaurant is now even better than before. I've been here again for a long time, the selection and quality are, in my opinion, much more authentic, braver, more genuine!! The rooms have been completely redesigned, I really like it, it's exactly my taste and it's very beautiful. The service and kitchen team also seems to have grown larger. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the language hurdles in some of the details of the order - not everything always seems to be clear to every guest. But: the boss is very hard-working and flexible, that is always the main thing for me! Peanut sauce delicious, summer rolls great! Soup very good (next time I'll try the original Pho!!)

I have enjoyed eating a lot in this restaurant for years and have ordered at least once a month. Today I was delivered salmon instead of duck, which isn't a big problem, mistakes can happen. But the way I was treated on the phone was extremely disrespectful. Taking more money first and then showing no goodwill and simply being hung up on in front of your face is no way to deal with your customers. It's a shame you lost two regular customers.

We were passing through. We ordered 2 types of soups. Tom yum and tom kgha with shrimp. Both soups turned out to be amazingly delicious. I recommend!

We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock. Redemption is also possible without any problems on Saturdays. Service was nice, food came quickly and was very tasty. Overall, the price structure is surprisingly pleasing.

First of all, we waited 10 minutes for the dishes from previous guests to be cleared away, even though we had been told where we were sitting. When she cleared it away, we thought we could at least order drinks - none. That took another 15 minutes. We were about to leave, had we ever done that... We visited the restaurant with the voucher book because of the good reviews. I haven't drunk the drink Chanda any worse so far. It should consist of fresh lime juice, crushed ice and mint leaves. There were mint leaves in it... No crushed ice, no lime. Instead, a slice of lemon and a crazy amount of syrup. Without topping it up with mineral water, it was barely drinkable. We both had a dish of duck, but it was so dry that it was long gone. The spring rolls with the accompanying sauce were delicious. We will not visit the restaurant again.

I ordered there for the first time today, and my favorite dish was Pad Thai. Unfortunately it is the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten! It was barely seasoned, just a pile of rice noodles with a sauce that tasted mostly like ketchup. A big disappointment and therefore the first and last time.

The four of us were there for the first time yesterday. Small Thai restaurant with typical dishes. Friendly, although with a slight language barrier. Food came quickly and was very tasty. We ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed them very much. Portions were good and prices were reasonable. I would go there again. Recommended!

Unfortunately no Thai feeling at all. Som Tum didn't taste like Som Tum at all, it was missing lime, fish flavor and chilli. Overall no taste. The Thai main dishes also tasted exclusively like flavor enhancers, an absolute disaster. Thai food in Bonn ONLY works if you cook it yourself. A pity.

The restaurant was initially closed, even though it was supposed to be open according to Google and the opening times on the menu. Then the door was unlocked and we weren't really greeted in a friendly way. The food was partly very good (coconut soup), but partly very bad (Pad Thai). Unfortunately we will no longer visit the restaurant.

No run-of-the-mill Asian food. You can taste that it is special! Fast, friendly service and loving preparation of the food.

I ordered there twice and the service was terrible both times. The first time the waiting time was half an hour longer than stated, the second time I was told the order had not been received and I was sent away again even though I had paid online. Absolutely not recommended. Addition to the owner's answer: You could have canceled the order via Lieferando as soon as it was received. Instead they waited 45 minutes and didn't do that until I was there to pick up my food. Just set a minimum order value to avoid such misunderstandings. The service was absolutely miserable and extremely unfriendly.

Unfortunately my meat wasn't okay (bad and sour for beef). The man didn't understand me. I didn't eat it Very unfortunate 😔

We have been going to Cologne for years. That's why we're pleased with the Bonn location. The food is wonderful, the service is friendly and you sit comfortably. In Cologne I found the food to be a little more seasoned. But that will vary from cook to cook. Still very tasty!

Maybe next time it will be better 🤔 I ordered from Thai Viet Bonn and was only partially satisfied with the food. The Gui Tieaw Pad Thai was very tasty and fresh, with crunchy bean sprouts, peanuts and a sweet and sour sauce. The Psd Khing was too greasy for me and had little taste. I like ginger, but the dish was too oily and didn't have enough spices. The service was quick and friendly, and the portions were large. The price-performance ratio was okay, but I wouldn't order the Psd Khing again.

Service was unfriendly and did not respond to our concerns. Voucher book is not accepted or attempts are made to “negotiate” the actual 2nd free dish. But the food was delicious. Nevertheless, I can only give it 1 star overall.

Auch nach der vor Wochen angekündigten Preiserhöhung hat das Thai Viet immer noch ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist weiterhin auf hohem Niveau; das Ambiente hat durch den Umbau zugelegt. Der Service ist wie gehabt super freundlich und flott. Für mich weiterhin *der* asiatische Tipp in der Weststadt.

Super leckeres Essen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und waren schon das zweite Mal hier. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Sommerrollen, aber die Hauptspeise war auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vor allem für den Preis!

Das Essen war soweit gut, Eigentlich wollten wir künftig wieder kommen ... Bis wir bezahlen wollten und trotz vorherigem Hinweis auf den Besuch mit Rabattheft "Schlemmerblock" das 2. Gericht nicht wie dort aufgeführt kostenfrei war, sondern nur ein Rabatt gewährt wurde. Darauf habe ich heute auch vor Ort wiederholt hingewiesen, dies wurde aber ignoriert. Bei 2 Gerichten zu 12 EUR ist aber lt. Schlechtmmerblock das 2. kostenfrei und nicht vergünstigt. Selbstverständlich muss kein Unternehmen an der Aktion teilnehmen und es ist toll, wenn es die Möglichkeit gibt. Aber wer teilnimmt, sollte sich bitte auch daran halten, was vereinbart ist. ODER zumindest bei unserer Bestellung Änderungen mitteilen, damit wir entscheiden können, ob wir ggf. das Restaurant wechseln. Fehler oder Missverständnisse können immer passieren, das ist nicht schlimm. Es ist nur eine Frage, wie man damit umgeht. Wenn man wie hier, vom Kunden darauf hingewiesen wird und auf den höheren Preis besteht, ist dass dann "sehr schade"!

Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Essen schmeckt lecker und ist preiswert, die Zubereitung geht wirklich schnell. Ich esse immer gerne hier!

Das Essen war wirklich super, die Bedienung mega nett. Ich gebe einen Punkt Abzug bei Service da im Schlemmerblock angegeben wird, dass man mit Karte zahlen kann, vor Ort jedoch ein Schild an der Theke hängt es sei keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Blöd, wenn man auf Kartenzahlung eingerichtet ist und kein Bargeld dabei hat.

Qualität und Frische haben leider stark nachgelassen

Ich habe am 03.10.2033 über Über Eats bei diesem Restaurant bestellt. Das Essen war offensichtlich aufgewärmt bzw. erneut erhitzt und schmeckte leider überhaupt nicht. Die Frühlingsrollen waren noch am genießbarsten, jedoch war das "knusprige Hähnchen" total zäh und schmeckte in Kombination mit dem Gui Tieaew Pad Thai furchtbar. Letzteres hatte kaum Würzen und hatte einen ganz komischen Beigeschmack bzw. eine seltsame Konsistenz. Ich würde hier auf keinen Fall wieder bestellen.

54Min. statt prognostizierter 48 gewartet..super netter Lieferando-Fahrer. Sowohl Gaeng Kua (Gemüse sehr grob, z.B. viertel große Tomaten) als auch Gaeng Massaman schmecken sehr gut.

Nachdem ich gestern und heute nochmal hier gegessen habe möchte ich ein paar kleine Anmerkungen machen... Das Essen hat mir immer sehr gut geschmeckt, auch wenn die Köchin heute ein wenig verliebt war (für mein empfinden ein bisschen zu salzig) Was mich ein wenig gestört hat waren die Fliegen an beiden Tagen. Waren doch einige am rumsausen. Das lässt sich bestimmt ändern 😉 Gestern ist mir eine Situation am Nachbartisch aufgefallen die für meine Begriffe ein no go ist. Anscheinend wurde das falsche Essen gebracht. Sommerrollen mit Hühnchen anstatt Tofu. Kann ja auch mal passieren wenn man sich die Gerichte von 4 Personen nicht aufschreibt... Es wurde darauf aufmerksam gemacht und anstatt sich einfach zu entschuldigen und zu sagen ich bringe ihnen sofort das richtige Essen, kam eine Diskussion zustande. Der Kellner/Inhaber/oder ähnliches fühlte sich ziemlich angegriffen und entschuldigte sich nach einer Weile dann doch, als die Kundin nicht nachgegeben hat, war aber sehr murrig im Abgang. Es sind auf jedenfall Dinge, an denen man arbeiten kann um in Zukunft das Restaurante gut zu führen. PS: falls sich eine bestimmte Person nun von mir angegriffen fühlen sollte. Kritik darf man gerne positiv aufnehmen. :) Gerne komme ich nochmal wieder und hoffe das weniger und im besten Falle keine, fliegen mehr stören.

Vielen lieben Dank für das super leckere Essen. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend, wurden freundlich empfangen. Der Service damit sehr herzlich. Zu unseren leckeren Hauptgerichten (Nr. 25 Mangosoße mit Gemüse und Nr. 33 scharf) haben wir leckeres alkoholfreies Weizen und traumhaften Homemade Aloevera Saft getrunken.
