Restaurant/Cafe Turm is a must-visit on every trip to Konstanz! - Delicious food in a wonderfully cozy atmosphere - Very attentive and efficient staff (especially Sonja :-) - Great location near the beautiful Schnetztor gate, at the entrance to the old town - Spacious and bright restaurant Highly recommended!

I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday. I reserved a table for him and his friends. I called ahead, let them know they were celebrating their birthday there, and asked if they could stay as long as they liked. They confirmed this. On my husband's birthday, he and his friends were kicked out after two hours. And this was on a Friday night – they then had to find another bar to continue the party, which is obviously very difficult on a Friday.

We went here with the family for dinner. The meat is excellent and the specialties are typical German. The thin and tasty schnitzel with a side of cheesespetzle was excellent! The tiramisu, however, is not to be missed!

Ate there again today; we eat there regularly. Today I had the Mafiosi Cordon Bleu with a very tasty potato salad. I also ordered gravy as an extra, and the combination was incredibly delicious. In many restaurants, the soft drink is served flat, but here it's always fantastic, and it's perfectly carbonated. Absolutely delicious, amazing as always!

We ate here on Saturday night. in the restaurant and it is worth booking a table because it is full. we tried the local beer which was good. Then we asked for red wine also local. Good choice. Then we asked for the local specialty which was Wiener Schnitzer with different sauces and cheese spätzle. You can order different sizes but I think for a normal person the normal size is enough. The spätzle was not our favorite, but that is just a matter of taste. overall the place is not bad the waiters speak English if needed and by the way they are nice to the guests.

After eating a turkey schnitzel there yesterday (for an additional charge), I woke up in the night with stomach cramps and had to vomit.

Pleasant garden and nice restaurant, large selection of Wiener schnitzel in multiple sizes, non-alcoholic beer, slower service for our taste, but we could pay by card and we enjoyed the food.

Very tasty and excellent schnitzel selection. We got a table by chance without a reservation. Otherwise, I would recommend making a reservation as it's very busy but absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Among the best schnitzels in Konstanz. Unfortunately, the Turm has also increased its prices significantly, so we don't go there as often anymore. But when we do, everything is always top-notch.

The prices and size of the schnitzels have changed drastically! The schnitzel I ate in April 2023 was almost twice as big as the one from that year. I was very disappointed by this change! We probably won't go there again. The food quality was very good, though, despite the much smaller schnitzels.

The food was rather tasteless. The schnitzel was overcooked, and you could only taste the breading. The cheese spaetzle were okay, also rather tasteless. Also, they were a bit overcooked?! Service was good. The atmosphere was okay.

We ate the best cheese spaetzle here. The spaetzle are freshly made, the onions are so crispy, served in a cast-iron pan, as they should be. A must for every visitor or vacationer to Konstanz. The schnitzels are freshly pounded; it was music to our ears. Top-notch cuisine!!!

The service is using their fingers to pick up plates that are meant for guests! The food is tasty (it's a schnitzel, after all), but it's definitely too expensive for what you get.

I think this restaurant is great! Very good food, spätzle and schnitzel are very good. The vegetables were okay last time, nothing special, so this time I had a salad. The price is still okay, although you can definitely notice the price increase here too. The staff is very friendly, even though the place is usually very busy :-) I've been there a few times. Very tasty schnitzels. I've been here several times and can only recommend it. There is a good selection of different sizes and schnitzel preferences. The restaurant is also right near the center. The fries could be a little crispier, otherwise TOP! Ambiance 4/5 - Location itself OK - Facilities OK - Unfortunately no WiFi available and direct free parking spaces. The website also doesn't seem to be online for a long time. Hopefully this will be taken care of soon. Greeting.

We came late midday during the week and it was very busy and we had to wait for a table to become available, which is a good sign. The atmosphere is ok so far, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, the tables are quite small and everything has relatively close seating/tables. The service was quick and competent, but seemed a little stressed. The food was very good and is really highly recommended. The portions are just right. Prices are also good and more than reasonable. Can only recommend the restaurant.

I got there by accident, a small establishment, at first glance ordinary, but an old eatery, I thought, well, how can they surprise you?! But no!!! Very pleasant, kind, attentive staff, and the food!!!! The most delicious room steak!!! Cordon bleu, and so many varieties!!! I recommend visiting and trying the delicious homemade dishes!!!!! But, I must warn you, it’s better to reserve in advance!!!

A rock-solid schnitzel house that can be recommended without reservation. Schnitzel menus are offered in all variations and sizes. There is nothing to complain about in terms of taste or appearance. The service is friendly and quite quick. Regarding the ambience, I would say that it can best be described as a clean and middle-class pub. One drawback... the toilets could do with a renovation. But what the heck. Since it is always busy, making a reservation in advance makes perfect sense.

Very unfriendly staff. We wanted to order something to drink at a table for two at 4:30 p.m. and were turned away from the restaurant with the message that only food orders were possible.

We ate very well inside the restaurant with our 🐕. We had a vegetable broth, an schnitzel with cheese and potatoes and some pork fillets with potatoes, all very well cooked and served. We liked it a lot.

You can't get coffee at lunchtime and you'll be thrown out if you don't want to eat. Service is disgraceful.

The Mafioso Cordon-Bleu was really good and totally worth the price. The potato salad with it also tasted very good. As long as you can sit outside in the sun, I really like the atmosphere.

Good home cooking, regional Baden cuisine, as it should be in a restaurant on the edge of the historic city wall of Konstanz. The many schnitzel variations are particularly noteworthy! Lots of choice, lots of meat. The food tasted and looked very good and the service and ambience were great. We had a small mixed salad as a starter and “closely followed” by the schnitzel “Tower” in size L and the Badische Filetpfännle. We were more than full. All in all, highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant when it comes to schnitzel. The Käsespätzle are really tasty and really cheese-heavy, not like in other restaurants. The schnitzels are simply amazing. The prices are almost too low for what you get. You get a hefty portion and are definitely full. If you couldn't finish something, you can have it packed up and take it with you. The staff is great and always friendly. Tip: Make your reservation early, it's always very busy✌️

The cheese spaetzle with fine fried onions and a cordon bleu size M were excellent. I thought I would be able to do this, but that wasn't the case. As a visitor to Konstanz you should definitely visit it. Right at the entrance to the old town.

We arrived around 1.45pm, we asked to sit down for lunch, they let us sit... they gave us the menus... then after ten minutes we asked to order.... the lady who took the orders told us that it was late. Nothing else to add...in fact at the next table he had taken an order...a moment before....

Very nice traditional German like Knöpfle ( German pasta ) and Rahmgulasch( creamy meat Goulash) or maultaschen ( German Dumplings) ! Great spot to try German / badische cuisine !

Yesterday we stopped in Konstanz after a 1.5 week vacation in Italy. And although I was so excited about the food in Italy beforehand, I have to say that yesterday's dishes in the "Tower" were the highlight of the holiday. All three of us had different schnitzels. I chose the Bayernschnitzel with sweet mustard and fresh horseradish. Great! As side dishes we had fried potatoes and cheese spaetzle. Here too, a straight A. Plus a side salad with a wonderful dressing. The service was also top. Friendly, attentive, quick... Everyone got their food at the same time. It sounds crazy that I would point it out like that, but in Italy that was rarely the case. Unfortunately, I see the prices for drinks going through the roof everywhere. If Konstanz wasn't so far away from our hometown, I would come here more often. An absolute recommendation!
