Overall, my experience as a tourist was quite pleasant. Initially, an incorrect dish was served, but the server who took our order promptly recognized the error and rectified it. The food portions were moderate and met expectations. The cocktails were good (pina cola - hard to mess up! & New York sour - totally recommend!)

Nice restaurant, good food, and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there's not much space due to the closely spaced tables. Otherwise, everything was great 👍

Nice alternative to the usual typical Bavarian place where you can enjoy cocktails such as an excellent Augustiner draft, excellent food from hamburgers to typical Bavarian dishes... all in the center of Munich... I recommend it!!!

Expensive considering the quality and quantity. But the worst thing is the lack of courtesy with which they serve. Terrible service, it almost seems like you're spiteful by sitting down.

The seating here is very comfortable and the food is really good! Homestyle fare, but also delicious burgers. The drinks are great! Attentive staff. We always try it spontaneously, even if it's just the two of us – better to make a reservation 😉 Not too far from Stachus, so it's perfect for city tours or at the end of a nice stroll.

Top-notch service, superb breakfast; we had Bircher muesli and French toast. The coffee was also very good. The main courses also looked excellent.

Food and staff were very efficient and courteous. The food was great! We had a cheese plate, salmon avocado toast and a scrambled egg dish.

My girlfriend and I spontaneously decided to have lunch at this restaurant. Although it seemed very busy at first, a very friendly waiter immediately assigned us a table. We were served promptly, and our orders came very quickly. From the Sarti Spritz to the bowl and the veal patties, everything was excellent! I definitely recommend it for breakfast or dinner.

We ended up here because we were really hungry. It's more of a bar. The music is way too loud, which makes it very hectic. The food was okay. There's only a light on the wall, so you can't see what's on your plate.

This is the best restaurant that we eat in . In Munich Wonderful food . One of the best tomato soup i ever had . The tender chicken breast is tender and soft as it say. Its a shnizel kind on sauce . With rice And its taste wonderful . The staff talk english very well . And its a good place to be .

Wonderfully delicious food! I had the homemade venison stew with pretzel dumplings and red cabbage coleslaw. It was to die for and the Edinger dark beer topped the experience. Come here and leave smiling.

I've driven past many times, and today was the day. Even without a reservation, I got a table at the bar (nice one). The guys were super nice and accommodating, and the girls were all quick and very friendly. Anyone who complains here is either having a terrible day or is a natural complainer. Keep up the good work and keep your staff.

The food was okay, my burger wasn't seasoned, not even a little bit; salt and pepper are served as standard. Cocktails were 50% ice, here a Hugo, and elderberry juice was only partially available. The red wine was great. The evening was okay, but one evening is enough.

The music was a bit too loud for my taste, but I guess that's a matter of taste. I had a quinoa avocado bowl, and the ingredients were very tasty. Something was slightly bitter (perhaps due to preparation? - just a guess), but otherwise, it was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, they only offer the lunch menu at lunchtime, so I'll eat somewhere else tomorrow, as I won't be able to eat the cheese spaetzle before I leave ;-)

I met up with my parents and friends quite spontaneously. The five of us got a very nice, quiet spot. The service was very friendly and helpful. Two of us wanted a change in our meal (we have an intolerance), but it was completely unproblematic. The food was very good and plentiful. If I ever come back to the city, I know where I'll go.

I ordered Obazda there. It tasted absolutely top-notch, top-notch—creamy, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The blend of mature cheese, subtle onion flavor, and paprika powder was simply perfect. However, I was a bit surprised by the portion size and the "freshness" of the pretzels. For the price, we had hoped for a bit more Obazda on our plates and fewer lettuce leaves. Unfortunately, it was eaten up a bit quickly, which is a shame because it was so delicious. Conclusion: I'd happily give it five stars for the taste, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. I didn't take a photo.

Dear friendly staff, Thankyou for saving me after Oktoberfest. Took me in when restaurant was closed allowing me to charge my phone and even gave me free pretzels. Much appreciated!! Great people.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right. The food was rather below average (the club sandwich was very dry, the burger was very greasy and rather carelessly thrown together, and the fries and pear spritz were very tasty). It feels like a touristy place that focuses more on quantity than quality. However, the service was very friendly and quick.

Located at the entrance to Marienplatz in Central, it was easily accessible and had a great atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, but the coffee was a bit disappointing.

Bohne & Malz is a typical tourist restaurant located very close to the main train station and in the city center. The ambiance is modern and nicely decorated, although it's quite loud inside. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu seems a bit scattered, offering everything from white sausages to burgers to bowls. Unfortunately, the taste is rather average, but it's quite expensive. Considering the location and Munich, it's probably average, but overall, nothing special.

We come here once a month for breakfast. It's a spacious restaurant with a lovely atmosphere.

Arrived late afternoon, tired from a busy day, no reservation. We were seated promptly. The staff was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was FABULOUS! My husband had a burger and he ate every bite. The quality of beef was excellent. I had the avocado bowl and thought it was the best bowl I have had. Tasty, healthy and delicious. I did not add a protein and did not need it. Highly recommend!

A very nice café/restaurant. And great value for money. We paid €50 in total. We'll definitely be back. We just found it a bit disappointing to be seated at a rather small table despite having a reservation. But because we ordered the large breakfast, we ended up getting the larger one. Why not just sit down? All the other guests who came in pairs didn't get such a tiny table either. But the excellent breakfast made up for it.

With a very convenient location, Bohne offers a comfortable environment for friends’ gathering with delicious food, ether sitting indoor or outdoor. The staff are all helpful and cheerful.

We felt ripped off by the waiter. There were several types of snitzel, so we asked for the cheapest, and he brought us the most expensive one with the intention of padding the bill. BE CAREFUL!!!

I have to recommend Thursday. They have a great pork chop only that day. Beer is good.

The 5 of us, a 4 year old child and small luggage, were given a table for just 5 people even though there were larger tables available and we left again after about 70 minutes!!

Okay, nothing more. The service was super friendly, which was very positive, but we were seated at one of the mostly circular tables right next to the service station, even though other tables in quieter locations were available. The food was a mix: the meatballs and burgers were okay, the Thai curry vegetables were practically raw and very spicy, even though that wasn't advertised. The raspberry iced tea was nicely presented, but tasted very syrupy. Nice ambiance, a bit noisy, but okay considering the Saturday afternoon setting. Overall, okay, but not a highlight.

The port wine sauce is a highlight! All dishes are exquisitely presented and leave nothing to be desired. The wine recommendation also exceeded our expectations. Beautiful background music, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service.

The "Ewige Stenz" (Eternal Stenz) with strips of beef fillet was excellent. A generous portion, finely seasoned, and well-cooked meat. And the Bavarian service was delightful!

The staff here are super friendly. The food was okay; I had the Alpenschnitzel, which was fine but nothing memorable. Burgers come with a generous amount of sauces — maybe a bit too much for my taste. The price could be less for such food.

Ate a healthy, nutritious, and price appropriate breakfast here. The outdoor atmosphere was calm, service was great. The croissant rocked my world. Did not expect it to be so good. The scrambled eggs were well cooked and the fruit was so fresh and crisp.

Bohne und Malz is almost a must when visiting Munich... Super friendly, attentive staff and incredibly delicious food – it's hard to choose. 😀 In summer, the seating on Hzg.-Wilhelm-Str. is relatively quiet; it's louder on Hzg.-Spitalstr.

Six of us were there for business. The service was very friendly and courteous. Our glasses were never empty for long, as we hardly had to wait for someone to ask for our drinks. There was also a menu in English. The food and drinks were very good. Everything was very well-prepared. We would definitely go back.

Well, solid, but nothing more. You can get better burgers and fries elsewhere (the meat was good, though), but above all, you can't charge €5.70 for a "signature" lemon/lime soda dressed with syrup. The service was very attentive and friendly, but the owner would do his servers a favor if the tip preselection on the card payment machine—assuming they even use such a thing—didn't start at 10%. That's an absolute no-go; apparently, they still have to learn that in Munich.

Despite that the prices are very high compared to other eateries in Munich. It did have a lot of patrons though. Hope you have a better experience than we did.

We started our bachelorette party with brunch there. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the waitress who served us was very unfriendly; perhaps she was just having a bad day. It was unpleasant for us, though. A shame.
