Arrived late afternoon, tired from a busy day, no reservation. We were seated promptly. The staff was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was FABULOUS! My husband had a burger and he ate every bite. The quality of beef was excellent. I had the avocado bowl and thought it was the best bowl I have had. Tasty, healthy and delicious. I did not add a protein and did not need it. Highly recommend!

The cakes were delicious and the service very friendly. The prices are quite high.

A very nice café/restaurant. And great value for money. We paid €50 in total. We'll definitely be back. We just found it a bit disappointing to be seated at a rather small table despite having a reservation. But because we ordered the large breakfast, we ended up getting the larger one. Why not just sit down? All the other guests who came in pairs didn't get such a tiny table either. But the excellent breakfast made up for it.

With a very convenient location, Bohne offers a comfortable environment for friends’ gathering with delicious food, ether sitting indoor or outdoor. The staff are all helpful and cheerful.

We felt ripped off by the waiter. There were several types of snitzel, so we asked for the cheapest, and he brought us the most expensive one with the intention of padding the bill. BE CAREFUL!!!

I have to recommend Thursday. They have a great pork chop only that day. Beer is good.

The 5 of us, a 4 year old child and small luggage, were given a table for just 5 people even though there were larger tables available and we left again after about 70 minutes!!

Okay, nothing more. The service was super friendly, which was very positive, but we were seated at one of the mostly circular tables right next to the service station, even though other tables in quieter locations were available. The food was a mix: the meatballs and burgers were okay, the Thai curry vegetables were practically raw and very spicy, even though that wasn't advertised. The raspberry iced tea was nicely presented, but tasted very syrupy. Nice ambiance, a bit noisy, but okay considering the Saturday afternoon setting. Overall, okay, but not a highlight.

Very expensive for what they offer.

The port wine sauce is a highlight! All dishes are exquisitely presented and leave nothing to be desired. The wine recommendation also exceeded our expectations. Beautiful background music, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service.

Great. Everything went perfectly. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt in good hands. Friendly, competent, professional service staff. Very good food, high quality. Pleasant atmosphere, beautifully divided dining room.

The "Ewige Stenz" (Eternal Stenz) with strips of beef fillet was excellent. A generous portion, finely seasoned, and well-cooked meat. And the Bavarian service was delightful!

The staff here are super friendly. The food was okay; I had the Alpenschnitzel, which was fine but nothing memorable. Burgers come with a generous amount of sauces — maybe a bit too much for my taste. The price could be less for such food.

We had breakfast at “Bohne & Malz”; the dishes we chose were delicious, the service staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Highly recommended. The restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor area.

Ate a healthy, nutritious, and price appropriate breakfast here. The outdoor atmosphere was calm, service was great. The croissant rocked my world. Did not expect it to be so good. The scrambled eggs were well cooked and the fruit was so fresh and crisp.

Bohne und Malz is almost a must when visiting Munich... Super friendly, attentive staff and incredibly delicious food – it's hard to choose. 😀 In summer, the seating on Hzg.-Wilhelm-Str. is relatively quiet; it's louder on Hzg.-Spitalstr.

Six of us were there for business. The service was very friendly and courteous. Our glasses were never empty for long, as we hardly had to wait for someone to ask for our drinks. There was also a menu in English. The food and drinks were very good. Everything was very well-prepared. We would definitely go back.

Well, solid, but nothing more. You can get better burgers and fries elsewhere (the meat was good, though), but above all, you can't charge €5.70 for a "signature" lemon/lime soda dressed with syrup. The service was very attentive and friendly, but the owner would do his servers a favor if the tip preselection on the card payment machine—assuming they even use such a thing—didn't start at 10%. That's an absolute no-go; apparently, they still have to learn that in Munich.

Amazing food and great service.

Think we just got unlucky with the waitress. She should not be in any customer service job, even by German standards. But the quality of the food was very good. Despite that the prices are very high compared to other eateries in Munich. It did have a lot of patrons though. Hope you have a better experience than we did.

We started our bachelorette party with brunch there. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the waitress who served us was very unfriendly; perhaps she was just having a bad day. It was unpleasant for us, though. A shame.

Four of us were here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I had the Rustico, with a warm, very tasty chocolate. We didn't even need the reservation because many people sat outside. In any case, it was a nice start to the day; Thank you very much !!

Mixed experience. We had homemade lemonades which really lacked flavor… As a main course, a very dry Alpenschnitzel, the juice helped the dish come across but I don't really recommend it. The team was very nice and the atmosphere was friendly and calm. Bad value for money…. (Compared to Paris for reference)

Nice brunch spot. Staff need to be more attentive (we went when it wasn’t really busy). Food was so so. Pancakes were good. French Touch had much better French toast and eggs. Expensive for the quality and quantity of food.

Nice chilled atmosphere, staff is often busy with themselves.. The first restaurant where I was allowed to order a Cesare salad without chicken for 16.90, the chicken then came pre-cooked from the refrigerator drawer for 6.60. That's quite an announcement Portion much too big for one person, decorative chicory had also seen its best. Then came the Bonnie and Clyde Burger, which didn't taste bad and you'll guess it but without fries...the small portion of fries was available for €5.60 Food was better here Prices are simply excessive Unfortunately the next lunch will take place somewhere else

Very nicely renovated restaurant/café with a generally very pleasant crowd. Very appealing daily menu with bowls, salads, soups and quite a variety of drinks. Food quality is absolutely great if you imagine a mix of Bavarian-traditional and alternatively light, healthy, modern. Sitting outside is on Herzogspitalstr. Logically, it's nice to a certain extent, but the location is well arranged and it's much quieter at the back (Herzog-Wilhelm-Str). Service very nice and accurate. Also great for another visit!

The seating is quite tight, so when the place is fully booked, you end up sitting a bit close together. The service was very friendly and helpful, but also a bit slow due to the crowds.

I had dinner in this restaurant today. I ordered the tender chicken breast with this rice and this curry sauce. Immediately afterwards, when we got up, I noticed that my stomach reacted very strangely and something was wrong. I've been complaining of diarrhea and vomiting for hours now. Never again!! Monday, call the health department directly. !!! UPDATE: I AM NOW IN HOSPITAL FOR ACUTE FOOD POISONING This will have legal repercussions for you, I assure you!

The restaurant is located in the heart of Munich's city center. The ambiance is appealing, depending on your taste, but nothing extraordinary. The food is also good. I had a chicken burger without a side dish and a drink. €25 with a tip is fine for Munich. But I've had much better burgers. The service was friendly and attentive. Reservations are definitely recommended. By 7 p.m., the place was completely packed. Accordingly, it was noisy, and the seats were very close together. It's best to arrive by public transport. Parking is subject to a fee everywhere. There's a Contipark garage right outside. Please read the reviews. Overall, it's okay.

I've driven past many times, and today was the day. Even without a reservation at the bar (nice table). The boys were super nice and accommodating, and the girls were all quick and very friendly. Anyone who complains here is having a bad day or is a whiner by nature. Keep it up and keep your staff.
