Fresh, tasty sushi and very kind staff. It's a really good place.

The food was initially very mediocre, but the nasty surprise came at home when I got food poisoning. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Small sushi bar, a bit cramped, but cozy. Super friendly service. The conveyor belt menu was very diverse, including special items like flambéed salmon, fried shrimp, and rolls with salad filling, as well as hot dishes and desserts. The food tasted perfectly fine. Unfortunately, we both had a bad reaction to the food and got severe diarrhea. We won't be going back.

Wort service I have had ever. The waiter/owner literally kicked us out in the middle of our meal, he told us we were not allowed to stay for longer than 1 hour. When nowhere is that written. Food is ok though but nothing special.

I was there eating with my sister and after a few minutes of sitting down the waiter said we only had one hour to eat and not in a friendly manner. Then we where almost done and he said the hour had passed and we need to go. This was not friendly and it doesn't say anywhere in the entrance that. Also we noticed that the waiter only told us that we have one hour but not anyone else. If you want to be treated bad go there. There is no appreciation for their customers.

The owner was absolutely rude to me. As soon as I came in he told me to go away that I couldn't seat because I was alone. Then I asked if I could reserve and he told me only 1 hour before it closes, obviousky so he can make more money. This is a place that doesn't care for the clients just the money and is absolutely disgraceful.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a little while for our table, but that wasn't a big problem. However, a reservation is still highly recommended. There was a wide variety of dishes, and they were all of good quality. We paid €13.90 per person for the all-you-can-eat lunch, which is very reasonable. Overall, it's one of the best conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Munich. One minor drawback: despite tipping, we were the only ones who didn't receive fortune cookies when we paid, which was a bit confusing.

We've been waiting for 40 minutes for a table that became available, but we didn't get it because it's a table for four. Then, by chance, three people showed up and took our place even though we'd been waiting much longer! Mind you, they hadn't made a reservation either. I find that outrageous.

Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a long time, while other guests were seated ahead of us for no apparent reason. We were also told that we could only eat if we ordered drinks – which we found very unpleasant. The conveyor belt was almost empty; hardly any plates were going by. The staff was also unfriendly and unhelpful. We were so disappointed that we ended up not ordering anything at all and left the restaurant. We cannot recommend this place.

The Food was pretty good but the service was absolutely terrible,some staff members were just rude and not understanding,other than that everything was fine.

The food is good, but the selection is rather limited, and if you haven't made a reservation, you'll face incredibly long waits. We arrived on a Saturday around 2 pm (we finally got a table at 2:30 pm), just the two of us. Then a family (three people) arrived and were given a table in front of us! We waited even longer and were told we had to share a table with strangers, which we weren't happy about and wanted a table just for the two of us. Others who arrived much later than us got the table because they were willing to share. Communication was generally difficult because the staff's German was poor and they spoke incomprehensibly. I would only recommend it if you either have a lot of patience or make a reservation. I certainly won't be coming back!

The person on the phone interrupted me twice, first telling me to look at the all-you-can-eat menu on the website and then hanging up immediately. When I said there was nothing about it there, they told me to just come by. That was rude! Does they expect me to drive four hours just to look?

We went there with the reservation. After like half an hour the guy came to us but only us and said we need to leave in half an hour. Table is only for 1 hour. He didn’t mention this while we reserve the table.When i asked him; Why didn’t u tell the other people who came before us and still enjoying their food after an hour. He couldn’t say anything. That’s was really not nice.When it comes to their meals; soy sauce was over salty (makes u drink water all the time) and the rice was over cooked. Also, the variety of sushi was very limited. Overall was quite bad experience we had. I would never go again.

When I asked the waiter, I was shown to a table near the windows. Although the food, especially the sushi, was being passed around and other guests were waiting, we were told to wait an hour. After about an hour, there were no more tables available. I paid 35 euros.

I'm giving it a 2-star rating overall, as my girlfriend and I were snapped at simply because we didn't know that you HAVE TO order a drink to eat the running sushi. The atmosphere was okay. The staff was very rude, EXCEPT the young man at the cash register. The price was rather unfair, as there was a very limited selection of running sushi!

I arrived today around 1 p.m., more than 3.5 hours before the 3:30 p.m. break. After waiting for 5 minutes, I was finally noticed and simply turned away. Other customers in groups of three were told to wait until seats became available, but I was rudely told: not today. I was sent out without even being looked at, even though there were single seats I could have waited for. I also overheard two teenage girls refusing to order drinks and being rudely told: either order a drink or don't eat. Not a pleasant experience, especially since the place was packed.

The food was delicious (especially the desserts), and the prices were reasonable. There was a queue, but we didn't have to wait long, only 10-15 minutes. The all-you-can-eat option costs €13.90 per person, but everyone has to order a drink. A drink costs approximately €3.50.

With good quality and plenty of variety, it survived the running sushi hype. Highly recommended.

The best salmon Munich has to offer. You can spend about an hour and a half here, but you usually don't need to (especially during your lunch break). In the evening, there's more selection, and sashimi is always available (unfortunately, only salmon sashimi). The hot dishes are also good, but they're not my main focus.

Barely any choice, the only response was "it's like that sometimes." Hot dishes were mostly fried and weren't fresh or warm after a few rounds.

Literally hands down the best meal I’ve had in Europe. Highly recommend the pad Thai and the crispy duck red curry. Deserves way more than 4 stars.

I was there at lunchtime around 12/1 p.m. and helped myself to the running sushi from the lunch buffet. The value for money is excellent. The selection was quite good and kept within limits. Nothing earth-shattering in terms of taste, but not bad either. The selection can certainly vary depending on the time of day or whether it's the dinner or lunch buffet, so I can't say much about that. All in all, I paid €17 for a drink and the buffet and I'm actually quite satisfied.

Our go-to Running Sushi. Good quality at fair prices, a large selection of sushi and hot dishes. We absolutely love it.

Terrible service. Never seen anything so unfriendly. Absolutely not recommended, unfortunately! We were given strange looks and treated with total rudeness. The reason: the two of us just wanted a bottle of water, to which the waiter reacted extremely rudely and asked us to leave because everyone had to order a drink for the all-you-can-eat menu.

I asked to share a sake between the two of us, but the waiter abruptly said it wasn’t allowed—each person must order a drink. Before I could respond, another waiter joined in from behind, making the situation feel confrontational and uncomfortable. It felt more like we were being accused of doing something wrong than simply ordering lunch. Trying to avoid conflict, I agreed to order two sakes. But then we were told, in a very unfriendly tone, that we had exactly one hour to eat—and that it started now, like a countdown timer. It all felt very rushed and unpleasant. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt pressured and pushed around by staff who acted more like enforcers than hosts. If you're hoping to enjoy a peaceful meal with friends or family, I’d suggest skipping this place and finding a restaurant that values its guests and treats them with respect.

In addition, I noticed that there is often a queue of people waiting for a table to clear, which adds to the sense of rush and pressure. Overall, this is a good solution for someone who wants to try sushi at an affordable price, without having high expectations in terms of quality or variety.

One of the rudest and most unwelcoming experiences I’ve ever had. I went there today around 13:30 and waited about 10 minutes at the entrance. The restaurant was not full and there were empty tables. A staff member finally came over and just said in a very rude tone “No one person” and made a disrespectful hand gesture like I should leave. I asked why and he just repeated the same gesture. No explanation, no politeness. They seated people who came before and after me. I was left standing there completely ignored. If you’re not serving solo guests you should clearly declare it at the entrance. I strongly suggest going to another running sushi place if you don’t want to deal with terrible service and unwelcoming behaviour

The choice of sushi is small, although for the price (13.90) it's not bad considering that there are also hot dishes like mussels, onion rings, crab sticks in batter, etc. The only thing that bothered me was that you have to buy a drink, otherwise you won't be able to eat.

The worst running sushi place in Munich. Sushi is only salmon, sashimi is the same, rolls are unidentifiable and inedible, the Chinese section is almost inedible. The Kikkoman soy sauce is probably fake. The desserts, except for the watermelon, are virtually inedible. Stay far away!

I had the all-you-can-eat option for 12.90. For that price, you really can't complain. Everything is fresh and tastes good. Many people say the staff is unfriendly, but I don't agree at all. And I think the time limit is absolutely fair given the low price. The restaurant has to make a living somehow. I highly recommend it!

I just picked up dish 44 and summer rolls. The lunch dish is missing vegetables and sauce, very annoying. The rolls are tasteless and the peanut sauce doesn't help either.

We stopped by spontaneously in the evening (Saturday around 6 p.m.). We got a table for the two of us, immediately with the information “only for 1 hour”. The selection of food was very good, there was always salmon and tuna sushi. Also lots of hot food. Desserts such as ice cream, pudding and baked fruit are also available. We were very satisfied.

We often come to Tsuki Ji or get something to take away. I can't understand all the negative comments here that you should order something to drink with running sushi. Please take a look at the prices compared to other running sushis in Munich. Restaurants make most of their money from drinks. If that doesn't suit you, you can still take the food home with you at unbeatable prices. We always enjoy our meal at Tsuki Ji, even though the service could definitely be a bit warmer at times 😉

They kicked us out of the restaurant but go ahead I admit, we made them a deficit. I highly recommend the restaurant, especially the all-you-can-eat buffet option. The products are divine, the waiters are pleasant when you don't create a €100 hole in their wallet.

I really liked it! There were three of us with my friends and when we came in we were asked to wait. But after only 5 minutes we got a table. We were told we would pay at the end. As soon as we were seated the waiter came and asked what we would like to drink. The food was very tasty, especially for me as I love everything related to sushi. In the end I was afraid that my money wasn't enough, but it was only 17 euros, including drinks (drinks are mandatory). Honestly, I highly recommend it!

Not exactly an attractive restaurant from the outside, but going in can provide a pleasant surprise! Simple setup, not particularly fancy... Treadmill upstairs with warm food and delicious sushi downstairs at a reasonable price. Danger; Unfortunately, due to recent experiences, I have to delete my positive review and reduce the stars. Lunchtime is now limited to 30/40 minutes, the staff sets the clock and you have to leave. Completely sufficient and super tasty food if you get the time right. If you get a place at the "wrong" time, absolutely frustrating... Treadmill is only filled sporadically or not at all and in the 30/40 minutes only the cold/dried leftovers go around in circles... Sad and very unfortunate that the quality and service fluctuates so unpredictably. For the "right" time I get 5*+, for the "wrong" time 1* is still too much...

Became Totally ignored by the waiter (probably the owner), super rude, you are not allowed to sit down as a single person if you are still waiting for your companion even though the tables are empty.

We were here 3 times. The selection of sushi isn't bad for this price. There are also desserts and ice cream. The only thing I don't like is the service. As always we were greeted by an unfriendly waiter. The third time nothing changed, he was also dissatisfied with our visit.

I have dinner here for the first time, I think it is the best sushi restaurant in Munich.

We ate sushi for the first time with our children aged 5 and 8 and they were thrilled. There was something for everyone. The running sushi is replenished non-stop. It was very good. Can definitely recommend it. Children only pay €9.90 for lunch and there is rice pudding with cherries or cinnamon, baked bananas with honey, melon, pudding and ice cream. They thought it was great! I can't understand some of the reviews. If you would like to dine in a 5 star Michelin restaurant, this is unfortunately the wrong place for you.

Absolutely delicate and highest quality in a huge selection on a continuous basis. :) Sure, running sushi isn't necessarily cozy, but the atmosphere is definitely right. What's also excellent is that, in addition to the large selection, various curries and salads also come by regularly.

On average I eat there 3-4 times a year. Food top. The couple in particular flopped as owners. Super unfriendly, zero guest-oriented. Having arguments with your son in front of guests is anything but professional. The shop is getting old and nothing is being done. 80s pub style. The men's toilets in particular are an imposition. The constant smell of urine stone is the least of it.

We often go out for sushi. The problem with running sushi is often that after a certain time, salmon and tuna, for example, no longer pass. It was completely different here. We were looking forward to eating in the restaurant. The prices are really great. For 14€ all u can eat at lunch you can't say anything. We went to the restaurant but unfortunately we didn't make a reservation. It was full so we expected a wait. But when the waiter saw us, we were left standing for 5 minutes until he came up to us and simply said "map" after we asked if we could get a table for two. Without a greeting and then just the one word. He also immediately turned around until we went to him and asked if we could wait. All we got was a harsh yes and a hand gesture in the corner with the rest of the chairs. We waited another 15 minutes until a table for 4 became available. When the waiter continued to ignore us, we spoke to him again and asked if we could sit at the table that had just become vacant. With an unpleasant tone he simply said "no, that's a table for 4" and turned away and left. We would have waited longer and that wouldn't have been a problem, but unfortunately the unfriendly and condescending manner of the waiter really spoiled our appetite.

Unfortunately the owner was very unfriendly and kept us waiting for a long time even though there were seats available. Why is he still doing the job if he doesn't feel like it? No matter what, Subway was significantly cheaper and definitely better!
