Super friendly staff and very good food. The atmosphere is very pleasant with soft music and a lovely ambiance. Expect reasonable prices for Berlin, around €15-25 per person. Highly recommended.

The food is highly recommended; you can takeaway or eat in if you're in the area. This snack bar is located by the tram station and is easily accessible on foot. The food agreed with me and my companion as well. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely eat there. Two meals and one large mango juice cost €29, which I thought was a reasonable price.

Dear Uber Eats Team, My friend placed a surprise order for me today. The delivery was fully addressed, including my name and address, and was supposed to be handed over directly to her. However, the driver neither completed the delivery correctly nor left the delivery at the agreed location. He simply rang my doorbell and rudely asked if I had ordered anything – of course, I didn't know anything about it, as it was a gift. At no point did he say who the delivery was for or from. After my friend reached me by phone, I immediately left – the driver had already left. The app stated that the food had been left in a "safe location" – this is false. There was no food to be found, and he even took it away. We called him within five minutes – he hung up twice. A call back to the delivery service also yielded no results – they told us that no order had been received under our name. This situation is completely unacceptable to us, especially since it was a planned surprise. The delivery was not made, and the driver behaved improperly.

Update June 2025: Trung Van has closed permanently, which is a shame. Delicious food, portion sizes are perfect. Pleasant atmosphere, no mid-range gimmicks. The 80s radio station isn't necessary; I wouldn't prefer any music or Vietnamese music to the ambiance. But: Finally, good Vietnamese cuisine at Pasedagplatz. Service is friendly. The restaurant enhances the northern part of Weißensee and is a good alternative to the sensational "Moon" at Antonplatz. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted, which I always find a bit odd... *raises eyebrow*...even the last local bakery will offer cashless payments in 2023... Update June 2024: Card payments are accepted! We're getting closer to 5 stars! In short: the food is top-notch, service and atmosphere are OK, payment methods could be better.

The food and the hand-mixed drinks are truly excellent. The wait time is pleasant and short, with a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and on the terrace overlooking Pasedagplatz. It can be quite noisy outside due to the tram, but it's bearable. The prices are truly reasonable for the quality of the food. I highly recommend it!

Once again, I spontaneously decided to eat out on the way home. The menu is very extensive, so it's a bit confusing after the starters. The server was very friendly and eager, but a bit forgetful without his notepad. He needed tofu instead of chicken for both starters, but he changed it without hesitation. The food tasted OK. The side rice was only lukewarm, though. I had a platter with three meats. They were stacked on top of each other. For dinner, I had the "crispy" duck. It was very flabby in places, but it was plentiful. The beef was cut so small that it wouldn't even qualify as shredded meat. Any smaller, and it would have been minced. I could barely find the chicken underneath. There were just a few scraps. The summer rolls were nicely draped, but unfortunately, they all stuck together, so you had to separate them by hand. We sat outside. The restaurant is located directly next to a tram turnaround loop. It's accordingly noisy when the trams arrive and depart. A hedge and waist-high screen still somewhat separate guests from the surroundings. Overall, it was OK, but we didn't plan on eating there again.

I was invited to dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The portions are not huge, but they are nicely prepared and taste good. There are definitely cheaper locations but for Weißensee this is a good choice.

Terrible food, if you can call it that. We ordered home online and instead of Coca Cola, we got warm River Cola for €3.20 a can. The food was very poorly packaged. The chicken was like rubber, the duck had already turned gray and you couldn't chew it.

I'm a regular and always eat too much there. But it is incredibly delicious. Duck in peanut sauce and the red curry are highly recommended, as are all the starters. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. In summer it's good to sit outside. The only negative thing if you really want to look for something is the annoying tram at Pasedagplatz, which squeaks around the corner at >95 dB. Card payment is possible, although cash payment is preferred.

To be honest, I don't really understand the good reviews. The food is relatively tasteless and tastes like it has been warmed up. The baked chicken is rather dry and fried. The rice is yellow and tastes more Indian than Asian. It wasn't a total disaster but I won't order again.

Moderate snack with restaurant prices: Our menu, "Om Nam Thap Cam" - duck, chicken, beef with braised shiitake mushrooms, mushrooms, Ginger, onions and red wine for 20 €, which in terms of taste and mouthfeel was at best the use of leftover meat and fat trimmings.

A nice restaurant right next to the tram stop. Clean at first glance and nice service. I ordered a takeaway meal which was ready in under 10 minutes. Well, unfortunately it wasn't my taste at all, which my stomach made clear to me relatively quickly. Unfortunately, you could only pay in cash, which I find very unfortunate these days.

Please improve, then we will order again! We ordered via Uber Eats and were unfortunately very disappointed. The quality of the fried udon noodles with baked chicken was more similar to the Asian pan from the frozen shelf, see photo. That would be okay in principle, but not for €15.40. The dumplings provided were also rather in the lower middle range in terms of taste.

We were there on a Saturday with 6 people. We have eaten there several times before and have a good comparison. In our opinion, the cocktails had too little alcohol but that's probably a matter of taste. With the mango dishes you could clearly taste the canned mango, which was really not a taste experience. We also looked for the teriyaki sauce in our pan menu, but in vain. It was therefore very dry. What really bothered us was that we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food!!!

The restaurant has a sunny outdoor area. Inside, the restaurant had an open kitchen, which is why there was a strong smell of food. Service was great. The waitress responded to our wishes (for example the level of spiciness). Otherwise the food was delicious. I can recommend it.

A really great shop in the middle of Pasedagplatz

Nice little restaurant, a bit noisy due to the tram loop right next to it, but that's only a minor nuisance. My real point of criticism, however, is how we deal with allergy sufferers, so it is absurd that as a peanut allergy sufferer you are assured that there are no traces or anything else in the dish you ordered, but then you have to use emergency medication after the first bite... This incident ruined the evening for both me and my companion and caused the actually good impression to deteriorate immeasurably.

Das Essen ist wirklich spitze und die Preise sind sehr fair Die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr freundlich, mir wurde sogar ein weicher er Stuhl gebracht als wir dort essen waren und ich schwanger war. Innen passt das Ambiente zum Thema, das einzige ist das direkt vor der Tür die Straßenbahn fährt, aber das tut dem geschmeckt keinen Abbruch und wenn man drinnen sitzt hört man die Tram fast gar nicht. Schade das sie noch keine Lieferdienst haben sonst würden wir dort auch öfter bestellen weil das Essen wirklich so lecker ist.

Ein gutes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Vor Ort ist eine freundliche und flinke Bedienung. Die Preise sind fair und das Essen schmeckt. 2 Personen mit je einer Vorspeise, einem Hauptgericht und einem Getränk für insgesamt ca. 40 Euro - ist okay. Es gibt auch viele vegane Gerichte.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit einer tollen Auswahl an asiatischen Speisen. Auch der 2. Besuch war ein Erfolg für uns. Das Personal ist freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind hübsch angerichtet. Für die Kleinen gibt es auch auch eine Kidsmenükarte. Man hat gute Anbindungen zu Bus und Tram weil das Restaurant direkt am Pasedagplatz ist.

Wir waren nun das zweite Mal dort und auch dieses Mal hat uns das Essen mehr als verzaubert. Frisch zubereitet, die Karte gewachsen und der Service mehr als freundlich. Es ist unser kleiner, persönlicher Wohlfühlort wenn es um gutes asiatisches Essen geht...♡

Liegt direkt am Pasedagplatz. Ambiente ist sehr modern, so wie es halt momentan In ist, wie asiatische Bistros aussehen. Alles sauber Bedienung war okay Essen ist meistens auch ganz in Ordnung. Preislich auch sehr fair.

Meine Freundin und ich waren sehr zufrieden gewesen. Der Laden war eine herzliche Empfehlung gewesen und ich persönlich empfehle ich diese Location weiter. Leckere Vorspeisen und Salate. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Tolle Besitzern mit Verständnis an die Belangen der Gäste. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle den Laden mit sehr gutem Gewissen!
