Truck Stop in Wuppertal

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir essen schon seit längerer Zeit regelmäßig beim Truck Stop sowohl vor Ort als auch per Bestellung und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker, die Portionen sind großzügig und die Qualität stimmt einfach. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das super freundliche Personal. Man wird immer herzlich empfangen. Auch die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind ein Pluspunkt: Innen kann man gemütlich sitzen und gerade jetzt im Sommer ist der Außenbereich eine tolle Möglichkeit, das Essen entspannt draußen zu genießen. Die Parkplätze direkt vor Ort sind zwar etwas begrenzt, aber das fällt für mich angesichts des guten Essens und des freundlichen Services kaum ins Gewicht. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung egal ob man vor Ort essen oder sich etwas liefern bzw. mitnehmen lassen möchte.

Super leckeres Essen und tolle Location. Es war nicht so voll und echt preiswert. Die Portionen waren viel zu groß, was ich gut finde. Das Essen hat einfach himmlisch geschmeckt.

Einmal mein Persönliches Feedback: Wir kommen so gut wie einmal in der Woche zum Essen. Jedes Mal werden wir herzlich aufgenommen und zum Tisch geführt. Wir bestellen meist relativ viel und kommen im Durchschnitt mit mindestens 4 Personen. Die Wartezeit auf das essen ist auch sehr schnell & das trotz viel Besuch. Und das essen ist wirklich immer Lecker, ich holle meistens eine Cabonara und war noch nie enttäuscht. Und auch der Service, es wird immer mit einem Lächeln gefragt ob alles gut ist. Und preislich kann man sich mit der Größe der Portionen auch nicht beschweren. Kann ich nur jeden weiterempfehlen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, J.S

Hier hat alles gepasst. Essen sehr gut, große Auswahl. Hier findet jeder was. Portionen auch ausreichend groß. Schneller und guter Service. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Wir waren früher oft in diesem Restaurant. Aber mich hat es nicht mehr vom Hocker gerissen. Meine Hähnchenspiesse ( für mich waren es keine ) waren furztrocken, man bekam sie so gut wie nicht vom Holzspieß. Gut , an Pommes kann man nicht so viel falsch machen. Der Salat auch völlig geschmacklos. Eine riesenKarte mit viel zu viel Auswahl. Wer braucht 14 versch. Schnitzel?? Ich werde nicht mehr hingehen, ist aber halt Geschmackssache.

Ich habe heute bei Truck Stop Essen bestellt, aber ich bin überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Erstens wurde eine der Bestellungen falsch geliefert. Zweitens war die bestellte Pizza Inferno so, wie Sie auf dem Bild sehen können: völlig in Öl und sehr fettig. Außerdem wurde sie nicht einmal geschnitten.

Dieser Laden, Truck Stop, ist einfach widerlich. Ich habe dort eine Pizza-Gyros bestellt, und sie haben mir altes Fleisch vom Vortag auf die Pizza gepackt. Als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde ich dreist angelogen. Das ist ekelhaft. Wenn man richtig gutes Gyros in Wuppertal essen will, dann sollte man unbedingt zu Saloniki gehen.

Echt seltsamer Laden, zum bestellen für das vor Ort Essen muss(!) man sich hinsetzen. Bezahlung war auch eine sehr eigene Sache, wenn man dann fragt bekommt man keine richtige Antwort... Bei meinem letzten Besuch dort war auch das "Service"personal extrem unfreundlich (außer einer Bedienung, die aber nichts zu sagen hatte)!!!

Essen super, Service super, Preise sind fair. Parken ist total in Ordnung, wer hat heutzutage noch kostenlose Parkplätze? Aber was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, ist die Luft in der Örtlichkeit. Wir haben oben gesessen und es war wie im Backofen. An warmen Tagen ist es bestimmt angenehmer, wenn die Tür offen bleiben kann. Wir gehen trotzdem gerne hin, da es ja schon Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist, von unserer Seite aus.😃

Nett und gemütlich von der Location her, das Essen ist ganz gut… Was nicht gut ist, sind die „flippigen“ und frechen Antworten der Bedienung (Muttermal, schwarze recht kurze Haare)… ihr würde Ich nahelegen woanders zu arbeiten wenn ihr die Arbeit oder der Kundenkontakt so sehr auf die Nerven geht… denn grimmig/verachtend einen Kunden anzuschauen, der einfach nur eine Bestellung tätigt um dann nur ein kurzes, knappes, freches „fertig“ hinzuschmettern geht gar nicht… und dies ist leider Standard bei Ihr… Als Tipp: Am Anfang eines jeden Lebens steht die EIGENE Berufswahl…

Die Speisen sind lecker, die Leute freundlich. Leider ist auch hier nicht die Preisentwicklung vorbei gegangen. Der Parkplatz ist nicht ausreichend groß und oft sehr voll.

Sehr gute Pizza, tolle Gyros. Ich gehe immer ins Truck Stop, wenn ich in Wuppertal bin, und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Kann ich absolut empfehlen.

Der Truck Stop in Wuppertal-Cronenberg überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Das Essen ist super lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Der Parkplatz direkt am Restaurant ist etwas klein. Allerdings findet man in der unmittelbaren Umgebung fast immer einen Stellplatz, sodass das kein großes Problem darstellt. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!

Einfach gut, bei Truck Stop ist es einfach gut

Leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Nicht nur Gyros, sondern auch Schnitzel oder Pasta sind hier super. Hier kann man bedenkenlos die Karte rauf und runter bestellen. Alles ist gut! Service ist auch immer nett. Einzig, dass man danach ziemlich nach Fritteuse riecht 😅...

Ich habe einen Gyros Teller bekommen, der katastrophal war die pommes waren halbroh und Lambric das Fleisch war halbroh und das für 16,50€. Hier kaufe ich nicht mehr. 🤑

Leider nimmt man es mit der Beschreibung nicht so ganz genau. Wenn man Scampi bestellt, bekommt man Gamberetti (Garnelen) serviert. Wenn man die Mitarbeiter darauf anspricht, bestätigen sie, dass es Garnelen sind, Scampi klingt jedoch besser.

Es gibt für jeden was auf der Karte. Preis Leistung ist meiner Meinung nach in Ordnung. Kann man empfehlen

Wir bestellen dort sehr gerne! Vor Ort schmeckt das Essen aber noch besser und die Portionen sind durchaus etwas größer. Einzig und allein die Parkplatzsituation ist vor Ort etwas blöd.. Dass die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Restaurant aber in der Regel voll belegt sind, spricht natürlich auch für den Laden!

Wir saßen an einem Samstagabend oben. Es war unerträglich heiß und das im November. Der Service war leider überhaupt nicht freundlich und gut. Es wurde immer wieder Bestellung vergessen. Die Essensqualität war leider unterdurchschnittlich. Beispielsweise hatte ich die Tintenfischringe. Sie waren überhaupt nicht genießbar. Das Personal hat nicht mal gefragt, ob es einem geschmeckt hat.

This restaurant is actually a long-standing institution in the Wuppertal Südhöhen district. In fact, I think the quality has declined. I'm not going to completely abandon the place just yet, but unfortunately, I've been more disappointed than satisfied lately. I know from my job that consistent quality is something you have to work on daily. My impression is that this is often neglected these days, perhaps because people think business is good. I think that's a real shame. The fact is, I usually order from somewhere else these days, and I've never had a pizza where I wondered whether I should finish cooking it. Please, people, this should get better.

Such a garbage place... unbelievable. You ask for the 50th pizza cut, and it arrives uncut again. You call them, and the guy says, "What am I supposed to do now?" Never again.

I took something home last night. A hunter's schnitzel with fried potatoes and a gyro topped with Metaxa sauce and tzatziki. My husband and I were disappointed 😞, the schnitzel was tough, the fried potatoes weren't seasoned, and my meat wasn't well seasoned either. If it weren't for the tzatziki and the sauce, I would have thrown it all away. We threw away more than half of my husband's meal, so we only got half. It's a shame, they were long-time customers. But unfortunately, it wasn't the first time.

No matter what is ordered, always very tasty

The location was great, Condition very friendly hence the 2 stars. The food was a complete disaster We had the Metaxa plate, The meat is fatty and wobbly, The Metaxa sauce was very fatty and creamy, the Tzaziki sauce was very sweet and had hardly any taste. Will never go there again and will not recommend it.

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star because there's no such thing as zero. After an hour of waiting, during which some guests who arrived much later than us already had their food, our food arrived! My grandson's menu was missing. After another 20 minutes, of course without an apology, the wrong food arrived. So another 10 minutes of waiting. I decided it was better to go to the counter to pay. When I was asked if everything was OK, I said no, using the reasons given above. The answer: it wasn't that bad. That's why we drove all the way from Herten. NEVER AGAIN

Unfortunately, we were sitting in complete darkness. We had to wait an hour for our food, and one dish was missing. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for it, and then it arrived wrong. There was no apology, nor was there a question as to whether we might need more drinks. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste the way we were used to.

I went to the truck stop for the first time tonight. The value for money is great. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. I'd be happy to come back. And I can highly recommend the restaurant.

The food there has been very good for years, so I can highly recommend it. They serve the classic truck stop dishes, but they're all freshly prepared. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. The delivery service is also very good. I can really recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there yet.

We took our food to go. The waitresses behind the counter (two slightly older ladies) were very unfriendly. The price is significantly too high for what it is. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

As a long-time regular customer, I was truly disappointed by the young waitress today. Instead of giving me the change, she simply said "good evening" and disappeared with my five euros. I just felt too stupid to call after her across the restaurant. I always tip, but not when the waitress just takes it for herself. That's not something you do.

The menu is huge! The pizza is generously topped and delicious. A special request was accepted and fulfilled without hesitation. The baked gyro was also amazing. The rest of the menu definitely needs to be tried...

Really not recommended! We were there with 7 people and spent over €230. We ordered 4 grilled plates, the gyro was soggy, greasy, and smelly, the rest of the meat was farting dry, and they didn't even serve tzatziki, so we had to pay another €5.50 per person. The pizza wasn't cooked through. 6 out of 7 people were extremely dissatisfied!

We like to order. Recently, there have been three occasions when there were no gyros available on Sundays shortly after 7:00 p.m.

It takes three trips to deliver the paid order. The third driver is rude to the children because they opened the door. If he has something to say in his rude tone, he's happy to speak to me, where he'll get an answer. In the future, just deliver the ordered and paid for food in full.

On my last visit, the heating was set to 5 degrees Celsius when the outside temperature was 20 degrees Celsius. That was quite unpleasant. The food is always absolutely delicious, and so is the staff.

I can only recommend Truck Stop. I've been here so many times, and the food has always been excellent and more than enough. The ambiance is truly upscale for a pizzeria or curry temple, and you can sit comfortably and even watch football if you want. The staff is always friendly and always tries to fulfill your every wish. The price has gone up a bit, but it's still reasonable for what you get. However, if you just want a cheap meal, you should just take it with you. There are plenty of parking spaces, but sometimes they're not enough during rush hour, so you have to walk a bit. But of course, I was thrilled. I wouldn't have thought so. From the outside, it didn't look like it, but I have to say, I always drove past it, so that was my opinion, which I may, of course, revise. Form your own opinion; I wasn't there last time. My sister was to blame, but for the better.

I've been ordering, or rather going, there for over 20 years. The dishes are okay. But what really bothers me is the boss! They delivered the wrong thing, called them, and they wanted to take everything that was wrong back! I didn't get what I ordered, and they even took away a small salad and a pot of tzatziki!! Which makes me wonder, if the wrong thing was delivered and they take away something as small as a side salad, what does the customer matter? They'd rather throw it in the trash or...it could happen, and get the other one the next day. It's just so crazy how many points I'm deducting from the truck stop!! If they accidentally deliver a small salad bowl that costs €2, the driver calls them and actually tells them to take the salad back!! As I said, better to throw it in the trash than just leave it there. You can also order for around €50, and they don't even give you a free bottle of Coke. That's just greed and makes the store incredibly unattractive! It's a miracle that you don't have to pay for salt and pepper!

We eat here several times a year. Always good.

It's no longer what it used to be. Schnitzels are small. Just don't order the chicken skewers, they were so small that it was rude. And for 15 euros I went home hungry, really bitter

We are regular visitors to TruckStop and have never been disappointed. The price-performance ratio is completely ok, the staff is always nice and we are always full and satisfied. We will continue to come to eat regularly.

Hugely extensive menu so there is something for everyone. Quickly prepared but also very tasty. Please note that NL debit cards do not work here. And they don't have desserts.

I used to really enjoy ordering from there, but the store has really slowed down in the last few months. Gyros are no longer as good as they used to be (dry), fries are often too salty. There are now better alternatives

After a long day on the road, my wife and I were really hungry. Since it was on the way home, we stopped at the "Truck Stop." I made a "serious" mistake when ordering. I assumed "normal" portion sizes and ordered a large portion of fries with my "Giros Pita." What arrived was a "monster portion." I (more of a glutton than a gourmet) had a hard time finishing this large, super-delicious pita and the fries. My wife also had a tough time with her liver plate. My conclusion: Very tasty food, very large portion, very friendly service. We will definitely stop by the "Truck Stop" again. Thank you so much, we'll be back. PS: Next time, I'll only order a small portion of fries ;-)

Gyros or shashlik with fried potatoes are recommended. Edit: 2024. We ordered several dishes through the company about an hour before delivery for our lunch break. When we still hadn't been delivered by the end of the lunch break, we were told on the phone that nothing had been ordered, even though each dish was repeated when we ordered. That's not acceptable. Edit: February 2025: Ordered a grill plate on site with three people. Conclusion: The fries were completely dry and all of the meat was completely overcooked. It was either so thin that you couldn't chew it or some of it was undercooked. The desired doneness of the steak wasn't even asked for when ordering. It was just done.

Actually, I've always been satisfied. Today I ordered a gyro plate, which I'd been looking forward to all day. After waiting for almost half an hour, I finally got my "ordered meal." When I got home, I realized I'd gotten a grill plate, which had nothing in common with a gyro plate. I was very disappointed. After a 40-hour week, I wanted to treat myself to something delicious for once. That was it for Truckstop. NEVER AGAIN

Pre-prepared pizzas, that's why it's so quick!! Salad is also prepared and not fresh. Delivery is quick, but that's exactly why. Carrots were unacceptable and had long since tasted disgusting!! Suppliers are ok, but otherwise I prefer to order elsewhere. If you complain, you will be hung up or the number will be blocked. If you order at lunchtime, you will receive something warmed up from the day before! Fresh is something else. Everything just warmed up, or prepared from days before!
