Had a delicious breakfast from the menu here. The service and food were good and tasty and filled us up. Would love to come back.

A great breakfast at really fair prices!

Yesterday I ordered asparagus with pasta and pork medallions. Unfortunately the medallions were not edible. At first I thought the knife was blunt, but after I managed to cut a piece off, I chewed and chewed... (sole of a shoe). The green asparagus also didn't meet my expectations (woody and bitter) I returned the medallions with the note that they were not edible. The waitress took note of this but nothing happened. All in all a failure, a shame ☹️

I like the restaurant, although I can't always find something I like to eat. But it's still a good selection. Unfortunately, I always thought it was a bit more expensive, but that's the case with almost all restaurants now because of inflation. I always found the people there to be very nice and friendly.

The food was very tasty and looked good. Unfortunately, an order was forgotten due to stress, which caused delays. Recommended store.

We sat outside in nice weather and had very quick and courteous service. The food is good and the price is okay.

The food in the greenhouse is very good, but you eventually get through the menu. There has been little change in recent years, but there are always current specials and lunch specials. Sometimes the music could be a little quieter.

I think it's a shame that I don't even get a cancellation if a reservation can't be implemented. The not very friendly suggestion in my opinion that I could have called didn't make things any better for me, after all we set off for free. The good thing: I have now found a new, very nice café for breakfast.

Mega disappointed, there were three of us there for the first time on April 2nd, 2025. I had reserved a table. When we arrived we were waiting at a sign that said we would be assigned to the respective tables. We stood there for at least two minutes and were joined by other visitors. An employee walked past us twice, the employees in the restaurant were talking to each other and ignoring us. We decided to just sit down as it wasn't particularly crowded and there wasn't a reservation card to be found at any table. We first ordered various coffee drinks, which were also ok, they have oat milk. Then we ordered something to eat plus soft drinks, i.e. two Fanta and a water. The vegan currywurst was probably okay, the gratinated cheese was a failure, my falafel rap was okay. You don't necessarily have to go there to eat. We were simply shocked by the Fanta, it already had a different color, after we tried it we could taste that there was hardly any carbon dioxide. we complained about this and asked if it was normal. It was explained to us that the soft drinks like Fanta, Cola with syrup are made from a machine. Just think about what kind of profit margin that creates for the owner, I mean that the Fanta cost €3.50! And this is produced in the cheapest way and tastes accordingly. The greenhouse saw us for the first and last time.

A good stop for a drink. The staff knows what they are doing so everything runs smoothly.

We were here for lunch and well it was okay. It looked very good but tasted quite neutral. Little seasoned but okay. The service was very friendly. Seating a little close together or high tables. Toilets available.

I went there for the first time in a while and enjoyed a few chilled beers. Friendly service and a very busy Wednesday evening. Good location near Lister Platz.

The smoothie bowl, which was specifically described as gluten-free on the menu, had oat flakes containing gluten in it. A very dangerous way to deal with allergens. “Sorry, we didn’t know oatmeal contained gluten.” • The smoothie bowl is described as gluten-free on the menu • When ordering, I had asked the waiters to make a note that the kitchen must ensure gluten-free please • When the plate arrived, I asked again whether the oatmeal was gluten-free: three waiters told me that it would definitely be gluten-free if it said so on the menu. • In the end, the feedback came from the kitchen that the oat flakes on which the dish is based are not gluten-free after all. I didn't really want to order anything there anymore, but the plate was remade without oatmeal without asking and I was then allowed to pay full price.

Very nice atmosphere, nice service, delicious food. Lunch is always great, preferably breakfast - great selection! Actually everything is great! It's great to have the greenhouse in the neighborhood.

Ambiance, service, food - everything was great!

The selection and food are really great, everyone will find something here. In the evening when you sit indoors it can get very chewy. The music is turned up quite high and conversations at larger tables then become impossible, hence a star deduction. Otherwise a recommendation 👍

What I can say so far: The atmosphere is great, the service too, and all the wines we tried were excellent at a reasonable price. Update: The service is still great - very personal, attentive and at the same time relaxed and professional. And the cuisine is actually great with excellent ingredients. In the meantime we had various meat and pasta dishes, and everything was great!

Yesterday we had dinner in the greenhouse again after a long time. The service/employees were extremely friendly! This simply has to be mentioned at this point! The food was also very tasty, the price was perfect with a large portion and a short waiting time - we will stop by more often now!

We were there for breakfast. The cheese breakfast and the Italian breakfast were very tasty, with a wide selection.

Wir waren hier im rahmen eines Teamevents zum Vorglühen bevor unser Restaurant aufmachte. Der Service hier scheint auf Zack zu sein, denn wir bekamen unsere Getränke alle recht schnell. Der Gastraum ist gemütlich eingerichtet, für meinen Geschmack sind aber die Tische zu eng gestellt. Die Speisen haben wir hier nicht getestet, aber ich werde bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen und das nachholen….

Four "Best Agers" meet for breakfast in the Treibhaus, in the "List" district. Somehow the "Treibhaus" has always been there and it is still a good address for socializing and culinary delights. You have to do that first We decided on an “Italian breakfast”, the “cheese breakfast”, my “power breakfast” and the “classic breakfast”. The prices for these are from €10 to €14 staggered and in return we got very good quality and generous portions. All drinks are extra. I think you can hardly have a better breakfast in Hanover. The atmosphere is stylish, but without sacrificing cosiness and flair , friendly and seemingly omnipresent. We'll definitely be back (table reservations recommended, by the way).

The food was generally delicious, but unfortunately two ingredients were missing. We also waited almost 40 minutes for the food at lunch, which in my opinion isn't possible if you really want to go there during your lunch break.

Unfortunately, the iced coffee was quite thin, as if there was hardly any coffee in it. I then asked if it would be possible to add an espresso, which was done. Unfortunately that didn't change much... maybe the machine was just badly set up that day. The food was definitely ok.

Both dishes weren't really seasoned, the meat was dry, and well, the flavor was missing We also got Kaiserschmarrn, which wasn't properly prepared

I think the ambience is really nice there, but when the restaurant is busy the noise is really high...i.e. loud

I recently visited this restaurant and really loved it! The burgers and fries were simply delicious. The vegan Mediterranean burger particularly stood out as it was prepared with a large selection of delicious grilled vegetables. The ravioli were also a delight - the filling tasted perfect and the grilled vegetables were particularly fresh and aromatic. Overall, the portions were very fair for the price. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more pleasant. The radiant heaters in the outdoor area make it nice to sit outside even on cooler autumn evenings. And as a highlight for me: dogs are very welcome here 🐶

Beautiful location for decades, several changes of ownership in 40 years. The current concept is very good and works. Here you can have a nice breakfast alone or with friends, meet up for lunch or even have an evening.

The team is absolutely great and very guest and customer oriented! Due to a traffic jam on the motorway this morning, I barely had time to have the English breakfast with you before my appointment in Hanover, which I was really looking forward to. I briefly explained my situation to the waitress and asked politely how long it would take until I got breakfast. Cassandra, that's the name of the nice service person, signaled to me that she could manage it and probably did a little magic. A short time later I already had my English breakfast on my table and the day had started well. THANK YOU to Cassandra and the ENTIRE team for their commitment and service! I'll come back to the "punishment" soon... Yesterday I stopped there for breakfast, this time on a bike tour, and as always everything was excellent.

Pleasant rooms, exudes cosiness. The menu is good and the food is also recommended. The drinks menu is well stocked. Price-performance ratio fits. Try it out for yourself, it's worth it.

Solides Restaurant, freundliches Personal. Der Burger war saftig. Die Süsskartoffelpommes waren knusprig. Einziges Minus ist die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Bieren.

Update June 2024 This time everything went better. Service, speed. I'm giving back the star that was originally deducted. ‐-------------------- 4 stars minus 1 First of all, why deduct one star? Waiting for breakfast over 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Admittedly, there was a burger and a few pancakes. Maybe that will take a little longer. Also ordered 4 pancakes, received 3. One was then delivered without any problems within 5 minutes. And the standard orange juice tasted like nectar, i.e. diluted with water and sugared. What was good? Greenhouse breakfast, delicious and rich in quantity and selection. The burger breakfast was hearty, great bun. Pancakes delicious and American (says my daughter, she lived in the USA). Prices are okay, staff friendly and attentive. Despite the point deduction, I will have breakfast there again. Just leave out the OJ 😉

I just took a short break from work here and had a cappuccino. That was completely fine.

Unfortunately there is no changing table in the men's toilet.

The greenhouse is a very inviting place, especially in summer, for healthy, fresh cuisine and a few relaxed drinks and wine. The terrace is just so beautiful and we like to come over for a simple meal or lunch. The waitresses are always friendly and everything goes smoothly. The bar also has a good selection. By the way, lunch always includes either a soup beforehand or a dessert afterwards. We thought it was a shame that the portions were smaller. We would have preferred to pay a few euros more and have, for example, the fresh side salad on our plate that we are used to from many previous visits.

The store is OK. Suitable for first dates but if you want some good food I would recommend many other restaurants in Hanover first...

Food, drinks great Service underground

Burger, bagel, schnitzel everything was fine. Our dessert was a disaster, I was really looking forward to the Kaiseschmarrn. But unfortunately it was a total failure. You are served rubbery stuff that has nothing to do with the actual thing. Assume that it is a finished product and that for a whopping 9,-!!! The friendly waitress just shrugged his shoulders at my complaint.

I was waiting for 30 mins for my drinks, I got my my beer the gas was completely non existent, I called the lady to tell her she forgot about me and left me on my table, after 1 hour I still couldn’t get my service so I walked in to complain the owner started shouting at me as if it was my fault, very disrespectful owners who will shame you for their own fault, I wouldn’t recommend my worse enemies to go this this place as the service is non existent and the owners shout at the their customers for their own disgusting service

The Treibhaus is one of my favorite locations in Hanover. A truly varied cuisine meets friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast is particularly recommended.

Sitting a little cramped outside

Here you can sit nicely, outside or inside. However, the food is rather mediocre and the prices are quite high

Polite and accommodating, even though the restaurant was full and we just wanted a quick beer

I love espresso and am willing to pay 4.20 euros for a doppio :)... But not here again! To me it seemed like the waiters hadn't been properly trained and the portafilter/grinder didn't seem to be adjusted. Result: A thin espresso without crema and with little aroma. Therefore price performance - highly expandable.

Today was my first time in the greenhouse and definitely not the last time. I was amazed, there was even a lunch menu and the meal came with either a starter soup or a dessert. 👍The lunch dish consists of one vegan dish and another and changes daily. Both very tasty, as my girlfriend chose the dessert and I chose the soup. The service was great. All in all a good decision to stop there. The prices are completely ok. Unfortunately I can't post photos, but there are already enough to see in maps.

wenn ich die vorherigen Beurteilungen lese, dann hatten wir wohl einen einen schlechten Tag gewählt!? Bei uns war alles schlecht ausser dem Ingwertee. - Schafskäse Bagel und Foccaccia: die Brote waren beide bröselig und trocken, schien uns wie die günstigen Aufbackbrötchen aus dem Supermarkt, aber ohne aufgebacken zu sein. - Personal an dem Abend zwei junge Mädels, die vollkommen unaufmerksam waren. Wir mussten lange warten und mehrfach winken, bis wir ein Getränk bekamen - als wir ankamen (2 Personen) wollte man uns nur einen Tisch für eine 3/4 Stunde gewähren, weil angeblich alles reserviert war. Wir saßen 2 Stunden und es waren mehrere Tische frei!? Mit der Reservierungsliste hat sich eine Bedienung aber ständig beschäftig und ist wichtig damit mit herum gelaufen. Vielleicht ist Ihr daher auch nicht aufgefallen, dass unsere Gläser leer waren. - wir saßen direkt an der Theke und konnten das Abfüllen von Weingläsern beobachten. Der Weißwein kam aus 2 Literflaschen. Als diese leer war, wurde aus anderen Flaschen/andere Sorte dazu geschüttet. Bei den Preisen würde ich in meinem Glas schon Wein von der gleichen Sorte erwarten und nichts Gemixtes. - Stammgäste werden hier offensichtlich auch besser bedient als neue/unbekannte Gäste Eigentlich alles schade, da das Treibhaus mit seiner Lage ein netter Treffpunkt ist/war!? Aber nach dem Abend werden wir so schnell nicht wieder dort einkehren.

The service from the staff was terrible. We were warned that the meal could take 1.5 hours. Luckily it only took 40 minutes: however the food was overpriced and we had to wait 30 minutes just to pay.

We had the daily special for €10.00, redfish. You could either order soup as a starter or dessert, a baked banana. The fish with vegetables and potatoes was very tasty, as was the baked banana, although there were two very small pieces of banana. The 2 pieces of fish were also quite small. But okay for the price. I also found the latte macchiato to be quite expensive at €4.40. The 19% VAT will certainly also have an impact on the prices.

We were there with our adult children for family breakfast. We were offered a great variety of breakfast options in a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was quite inattentive twice, so a small deduction.

A real Hanoverian institution. The greenhouse has been around longer than most of its neighbors. Easily accessible, large, spacious atmosphere, outside like everywhere in the city a little noisy due to traffic. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste really good and are well worth the relatively high price.
