Tregler Alm in Bad Feilnbach

A very beautiful alpine hut with delicious food and friendly service. A fantastic view in just under an hour.

A nice short hike. Unfortunately, it was raining on our day. Friendly service. The food was good and reasonably priced. If you have children or strollers, we recommend taking the forest road. Otherwise, there are several starting points via or in Bad Feilnbach. A circular hike can be done via Thalhäusl.

A lovely alpine pasture, accessible from the Deisenried parking lot in less than an hour along a wide forest path. The trail is also manageable for small children. On a Sunday morning, around 9:30/10:00 a.m., it wasn't busy yet. Unfortunately, the food selection was still limited (Debrecziner, apple strudel, quark strudel, and cake).

A beautifully situated mountain inn with delicious food. Prices are reasonable for an alpine inn. The service is attentive and cheerful. You have a beautiful view. The beer garden offers shady spots and sheltered areas. The inn is rustically and comfortably furnished.

Great atmosphere, friendly hosts

Yesterday, I was rudely informed that I wasn't allowed to sit at a free table, but was told to squeeze into a full table because there weren't enough waitstaff. I felt like I had to beg to be allowed to spend money at the Tregler Alm. It wasn't a good day for the staff. The waitress also loudly humiliated me in front of the other guests, even though I was being super friendly.

According to Google Maps, the path there is wheelchair accessible. The climb is for experienced hikers and is very unpaved. Never trust Google.

A perfect destination for a short hike with a buggy. Also accessible with a stroller. The Tregler Alm is perfectly adapted for strollers, offers plenty of shade under umbrellas with stunning views, and also delicious food (there are three vegetarian dishes: spinach dumplings, cheese bread, and cheese Max). A good hour of uphill walking takes you to the alpine pasture. Great views and good hospitality. It's worth it.

Great destination. We were at the alpine pasture today (April 24, 25). Unfortunately it rained a bit, which didn't hurt the charm. We received a very friendly welcome and all our wishes were fulfilled. We will definitely go up there again. Top keep it up

A very strange place. I had to shout loudly for the waitress three times until someone finally came - and then I was told that half of the dishes on the menu weren't available. There were no cutlery on the table, and the wild garlic soup she brought might actually have been good if it hadn't been so extremely salty. The quark strudel was also disappointing - too compact and almost clay-like in consistency. Overall, the price-performance ratio is completely inadequate.

The food amount is a little bit expensive

There's nothing wrong with the Tregel-Alm. I just find it impossible that as a guest you have to pay 5€ at the parking lot downstairs, because you certainly can't stop at the Alm during the 2 hours that are free. I am of the opinion that a solution needs to be found here so that guests only have to pay a maximum of €2 in parking fees. I also wrote this accordingly in the “Deisenried parking lot” review.

We were there on Sunday, when the weather was pretty bad. Nevertheless, it was very crowded and loud. Still a rustic hut, beautifully decorated. Service very friendly.

The view is ok because you can see very far, but rather boring for my taste. The service was nice in its own way but not my taste. The food has been the same for years and is exorbitantly expensive, which is not entirely justified, especially since you can easily have it delivered via the forest road. The ambience inside is nice. It all just has a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. The parking lot is no longer free, in my opinion there are nicer places for the total price. After the innkeeper's comment, all I can say is, "PRIDE COME BEFORE THE FALL"

Great place to warm up and enjoy some delicious bavarian food specialties. You will meet very friendly staff, experience a great family owned location and a beautiful panoramic view.

Nice alpine pasture with a beautiful view on the terrace. Even now, in winter, you can sit outside when the temperatures are mild. A nice destination for a relaxed hike. The food, service and prices are ok. Unfortunately, there is no view during the hike, at least from the side we came from, and another drawback is that there were no free parking spaces at the starting point of the hike.

An unforgettable evening! I was in this great house on New Year's Eve and watched the fireworks there - an absolute dream! The service was first class, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. Very cozy hut. Although there was a lot going on, we made sure that new guests got a place. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and you didn't have to wait long. We can definitely recommend the Alm.

We enjoyed one of the last autumn hiking days on the Alpine pasture. HIGHLY recommended is the Kaspressknödelsppen, which is very tasty!!!

Great service even for special requests

Nice place, very nice waitresses. Drinks absolutely fine. However, we didn't like the food. Everything was said to be homemade. However, the small schnitzel was rather frozen...almost burnt. Also expensive at 13.90 euros (we're talking about a small schnitzel). The currywurst was ok, but at just under 14 euros it was simply too expensive. According to my wife, the cake is still doughy in the middle. If there is a next time, we will avoid eating here.

Very nice, easy hike (approx. 40 minutes from the parking lot). The forest path, which is always prepared, leads largely through the forest (very pleasant on hot days). A lot of things have been newly (lovingly, beautifully) prepared on the "Tregel Alm" (terrace, children's playground, outdoor area). The view is awesome and far into the distance. Price+performance is OK. The staff is always friendly and on their toes, even when they are overrun. Highly recommended for families.

The Tgler Alm is worth a hike! From the parking lot it's a cool 3 km up the slope! You will be rewarded with a beautiful panorama and delicious food! The hospitality is warm, super friendly and on the ball! Nobody will die of thirst here! Unfortunately, we were surprised by a thunderstorm on the way down, but the Tregler Alm can't help that!

I was allowed to photograph a wedding at the Tregler Alm in August. The location is really great and the view (even if the weather was unfortunately a bit overcast) is great! The team was very friendly and accommodating, always with a grin on their faces! The food was really delicious and the cakes topped it all off! Thank you for everything & I would be happy to take photos with you again soon :)

Magnificent view after a short hike on a forest path through the forest from the Deisenried car park (day ticket 5 euros, parking machine). Beautiful alpine pasture with a large terrace. Snacks and from 11 a.m. also warm dishes. Super nice and very fast service, no matter how busy it is. Always friendly. Of course, from midday onwards, the weather is nice. We like to come for breakfast, it's even quieter there. Clean toilets.

Today I passed the Tregel Alm on my MTB tour. Unfortunately, I ran out of my drink and thought to myself... well, buy yourself some water at the Tregler Alm and take a short break. It wasn't very busy... but I still had to wait until I could order. Table water 0.5 l costs €4.40. Ok 🤔 I asked if I could have half a lemon with it. No problem.. came to that! When paying, the waitress said that she had to charge extra for the lemon. I gave her €6 for €5.40. So… I understand that the innkeepers also have to earn their money… everything is ok. But €6 for a table water with lemon. Are you crazy!!! Outrageous!!! I was biking near St. Moritz in Switzerland last month and paid less for water. I would advise everyone to avoid the Tregel Alm, go to the Dandlberg Alm instead... you pay half the price and the ambience is 100 times better 🤘 Update on response from owner: Dear Tanya, But now we've completely missed the topic. For me it wasn't about whether the waitress had pointed out the price of the "half" lemon beforehand or not (that can no longer be resolved here), it was more about the price! And now to accuse me of not writing the truth is the bottom of the barrel. Impudence! If you, dear Tanja, had read my review carefully, you would know that it was always about half a lemon. How do you get a slice of lemon? So, the cost of 0.5 l of table water is €4.40, 1/2 lemon is €1 + a polite tip is €0.60 (I always do that) then it's €6 for water!!! Water with 1/2 lemon costs €5.40, half a liter of beer... if I remember correctly €4.40. Sorry…. In my opinion: OUTRAGEOUS!

An arduous climb from Bad Feinbach, it was worth it, fantastic views, as well as the service and the food. Only recommended!

Today my daughter and I went on a nice hike to the Tregelalm. The climb can also be achieved without fitness. The food on the mountain pasture is excellent. The innkeepers are very friendly. You feel right at home.

Food didn't taste good at all. Sour Lüngerl was ultra sour. Pasta with ready-made sauce. One tablespoon of Parmesan is charged extra. Never again.

Approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours ascent. Not too difficult, gravel road, Wonderful view. I had roast pork with bread rolls and white cabbage. Was very good. Price €16.50.

Really strong team! Once again we were up at the same time as all the rest of the holiday free runners, e-bikers Gschwerl & Tourismuspak and the shop was still running smoothly.

An easy-to-walk forest path with only a slight incline leads up in an hour. But there are also other alternatives that are more demanding. The location is great because the view is simply sensational from up here. The staff is friendly and tries hard, even if it's all hell breaking loose here on the weekend. The food was good and the portions were plentiful.

One of the waitresses (and sadly the one that served us) was outrageously rude: from yelling at us at the arrival indicating that the gang had to stay free, to being unable to accommodate us (1 adult and 2 kids). She was pissed because my little one (2 years old) didn’t order a drink and ultimately because we left her 0 tip (understandably). Some people are just not meant to work in public.

Once you've managed the really steep climb from Bad Feilnbach, you can expect a really great view. But as I said, it's always a steep climb.
