Ludwig Stub'n in Bad Feilnbach

I give it 5 stars for the excellent value for money. Six of us were there, and everyone had something different. The portions were generous. We were all full and satisfied.

We don't understand the good reviews; maybe we were just having a bad day. The food was absolutely abysmal. Thick, completely over-seasoned instant gravy, an indefinable substance on the burger that I couldn't eat (and I'm not really sensitive). Only the shrimp on the skewer were okay, but since they were probably also instant goods, you couldn't go wrong here. Unfortunately, we absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

We went to the Ludwig Stub'n today after seeing the restaurant on the "TOP 10 Restaurants in Bad Feilnbach" list. And I'm really glad I decided to go. There's plenty of parking around the restaurant. The restaurant makes a decent impression, and the service was very friendly. The food was delivered fairly quickly and was incredibly delicious. My mother had the LUCKY XXL BURGER + FRIES for €11.90, and I had the cheese spaetzle with fried onions and mixed salad. We were happy and full afterward, and I can recommend the Ludwig Stub'n with a clear conscience, and we would go back again.

Super cozy shop, good food, we spontaneously dropped by with a large group and were served wonderfully.

Nice terrace for outdoor seating. The salad with chicken strips was very good.

We stopped here as a family with two children and a dog while passing through. The staff was very friendly, the food was exceptionally good 👍. We didn't have to wait long, and the value for money was excellent! We highly recommend it!

It was very busy, and we were told before ordering that the food would take at least 30 minutes, which I thought was a good thing. We were still greeted very warmly, and the drinks came quickly. The place was bright, friendly, and decorated in a way that reflects the region. The spaetzle and schnitzel were delicious and reasonably priced. We were just passing through, but we would come back :-)

We visited the Ludwig Stub'n on Monday evening with a larger group (12 people) and can only say good things! The service was super friendly and quick, even when we were the last ones there. The food was delicious; the roast beef with onions was delicious, and for dessert, we had truly excellent Kaiserschmarrn. If you're in the area and want to enjoy delicious Bavarian cuisine, you should stop by here; the prices are absolutely fair and the portions are generous.

Wir haben das Restaurant aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen ausgewählt und wurden bei unserer Ankunft sehr freundlich vom Personal empfangen – das war wirklich ein Pluspunkt! Leider war unser Gesamteindruck dennoch eher enttäuschend. Bereits beim Betreten fiel uns ein starker Geruch nach altem Fett auf, was nicht besonders einladend war. Die Suppe war in Ordnung, aber die Hauptgerichte konnten uns leider nicht überzeugen. Der Burger war ungenießbar – sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Konsistenz her. Auch das zweite Hauptgericht, ein Semmelknödel mit Pilzen, war enttäuschend: Der Knödel hatte nicht die typische, lockere Konsistenz und schmeckte wenig aromatisch, die Pilze konnten das Gericht ebenfalls nicht retten. Insgesamt waren wir trotz des freundlichen Services mit unserem Besuch leider nicht zufrieden und würden das Restaurant daher nicht weiterempfehlen.

We had a delicious meal at 8 p.m. The spicy burger is highly recommended. We were greeted very warmly and provided with everything we needed. The beer garden is rustic, and with its two levels, even non-smokers can find a spot with fresh air. Great value for money! Thank you.

A very good restaurant. I can't recommend it. Almost all the tables are reserved except for two. I wanted to ask if the one at the window row was available. The waiter, who spoke poor German, said no and didn't want to give it to me. He didn't give it to me and quickly became angry. So I just left. We were just unlucky, simply SUPER!!!

Cozy and rustic guesthouse. Staff friendly and attentive. Food is delicious 😋😋 and is freshly prepared. Portions are large so that no one leaves the inn hungry. When the weather is nice you can also enjoy eating outside.☺️If I ever come to Bad Feilnbach again, I would like to stop here again.👍

The food was good, but there was a power outage in the kitchen and, according to the waiter, the gas from the gas stove didn't work. So the schnitzel was only from the deep fryer and the chicken for the salad too. Otherwise it was certainly better, but apparently we were just unlucky.

We ate there after returning from Croatia and it was really good. For us East Westphalians it was real Bavarian cuisine with a Bavarian flair - you wouldn't want anything more. Any time!!!

Durante un nostro viaggio verso Vienna abbiamo fatto tappa per pranzo in questo ristorante, non volendo sostare in un'anonima area di servizio autostradale. Ambiente familiare, tipico locale di paese. Servizio cortese. La quantità non fa difetto... abbiamo ordinato due insalate miste molto...abbondanti e come piatto principale un salmone di lago, tipico pesce locale. Con un 1/4 di vino locale acqua e caffè abbiamo speso 48 €, prezzo più che onesto.

Ludwig's Stub'n in Bad Feilnbach is simply great. Had a few meals with the children, fair prices and decent portions that simply tasted great. Child had schnitzel and fries, there are just 2 schnitzels on the plate for 12.90, everyone had to help eat 😅 highly recommended because it just tastes good, keep it up.

Very tasty food (veal schnitzel with chanterelles and cream sauce). The staff was friendly, but we had to wait a long time for the food (at least 30 minutes). But the food made up for it.

Amazing experience! You can see it immediately, clean tables, cutlery, ashtrays, everything is neat and fresh. The service quickly comes with the menu and asks if you want something to drink. The menu is not extensive, but what is on it is just good, a delicious meal for your money! Not 5 stars because it was not surprising or very culinary. But if you just want good food for a fair price, then this is the place for you!

This was my third time there with my wife and we were never disappointed. Today we had schnitzel with fries. You can hear how the fresh schnitzel is being prepared in the kitchen and it is simply delicious. My hake fillet on vegetables with delicious fried potatoes was excellent. Absolute recommendation. The beer garden is small but nice and the service is very nice, courteous and competent. All in all a great Bavarian restaurant. Absolute recommendation and we will definitely come back. I can only recommend the inn, great food, very friendly, very large portions at very reasonable prices, had roast pork, I had mountaineering schnitzel and, to top it off, excellent Kaiserschmarrn, simply great, top price and performance

The Stubn is a bit smaller but very comfortably furnished and everything is very clean and tidy. The taste and quality of the food are very good. The portions aren't exactly small. The personnel is very friendly and courteous.

Here you can get the best cordon bleu and very good salads. So there is something for everyone. The service is very friendly. The ambience is rather simple, but you're also there to eat. I often go here with my family and friends and we are always very satisfied. Also worth noting is the beautiful, quiet beer garden. Conclusion: always happy

Der Biergarten ist ganz nett. Die Bedienung freundlich. Leider war das Essen nicht sehr gut. Ich hatte Seelachs mit Kartoffelsalat, der sehr lecker war. Der Seelachs war paniert und sehr dunkel tot gebraten. Furztrocken. Mein Mann hatte Schnitzel mit Pommes. Die Portion war sehr groß . Die Schnitzel waren auch zu stark gebraten und trocken und die Pommes sehr dunkel.

Schöner Biergarten, das Essen war okay aber nicht der Überflieger. Preis war gut, der Kellner leider überfordert, zuviel Gäste, aber zu wenig Personal (leider).

Ate on the terrace, would recommend that. Inside there was quite a cooking smell. The service was very friendly, authentic. And the food was great. Quite a lot as is usual in Germany.

Hier kann auf jeden Fall sehr gut essen. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Haben es bei Google gefunden und sind spontan hingefahren. Hatten einmal Kalbsleber die sehr lecker war und einmal Zwiebelrostbraten, der allerdings mit Zwiebelrostbraten nichts zu tun hatte. War an einer Stelle auf 5mm flachgekloppft und sonst auch viel zu dünn. Gechmacklich war er ok. Soße lecker, Bratkartoffen schön knusprig, einzig etwas Zwiebeln oder Speck hat gefehlt, waren aber trotzdem gut.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker und die Mitarbeiterin sehr nett und flink. Trotz, dass viel zu tun war, hat sie es mit Ruhe und Freundlichkeit super gemacht.

Leuke zaak op een leuke plek, ook prima gegeten voor een goede prijs. Het was rustig toen we aankwamen en werden snel geholpen. Ook het eten stond zo op tafel. Maar naarmate het drukker werd kregen we steeds minder aandacht. Een toetje of koffie bestellen is niet gelukt. Gelukkig zat er om de hoek en geweldig ijszaakje. Parkeren in de buurt was nog wel een opgave, wij waren er gelukkig op zondag waardoor het vrij parkeren was.
