We had great food, especially the braised pork leg (perfectly cooked and finely crispy). Price correct and not expensive for such a good quality. Recommended!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! As soon as we entered we were greeted with a splendid and authentic smile: people who were happy to let us try their cuisine and who did not want to disappoint our expectations. The place is spectacular, historic and a stone's throw from the center. It is small and for this reason we recommend booking, it is historic and frequented by Germans, which led us to choose it as a restaurant. The food was very good and we had the shank, their schnitzel and the strudel. Excellent beers, excellent service and a very honest bill!

To be honest, I only ended up in this restaurant because of the good reviews and I have to say we were extremely impressed. This restaurant really has a Berlin flair and all of us ate and the food was delicious. The Berliner Weisse is particularly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Dogs are also allowed, but the dining room is very tight.

Came here for drinks, didn’t disappoint. Very reasonably priced, had a couple beers. Divine. Friends had glasses of house white wine and enjoyed. Felt welcomed. Lovely staff. Would’ve loved to stay for hours. Didn’t have any food but saw some customers eating and looked nice. We just walked in but i recommend booking.

A very cosy pub in the city centre, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. From the gulasch to the schnitzel and the strudel, everything was fresh and tasted amazing. The price is appropriate to the quality/quantity, and the overall experience worth trying.

If there are better bars in Berlin, I never found them. Small but excellent (let’s call it “curated”) beer selection and fantastic traditional German fare. Seemingly frequented by locals and tourists alike. Very reasonable prices for drinks and food.

The service is great and rounds off the overall picture of a Berlin original extremely positively. I always enjoy being here and if you want to eat, you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

A good little pub, serving several types of beers and various drinks, enough to have a good time, all in a comfortable atmosphere. The dishes are very copious and quite raw on the plates, enough to fill your stomach 😁

What a great place in the middle of Berlin. One of the few restaurants in the Friedrichstraße/Unter den Linden area where Berlin flair and Berlin food go together so wonderfully. Food absolutely delicious; We opened the goose season today with a delicious leg of goose. My recommendation: Just go, enjoy the great service and, above all, the food.

Very nice address. Friendly service, we are not rushed even if there are a lot of people wanting a table. Very good and plentiful dishes.

Small tavern, overall pleasant dinner, but with some little bumps: a bit noisy, cutlery was not very clean (I asked for a cleaned one and was sticky as well), 9.5€ for a glass of wine is definitely too much.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not positive. During dinner, a waitress accidentally broke a beer glass on the table, causing a cut on my arm and staining my clothes. Although he offered me a napkin to clean the area, I believe the situation was not handled appropriately. Seeing other customers watching what happened, the waitress made an inappropriate comment, suggesting that I was under the influence of alcohol, which was not true. This was awkward and unprofessional. When we asked for the bill, we were pressured to leave a tip, despite the situation. I would recommend reviewing customer service protocols to avoid similar situations in the future.

Traditional bar in a very busy area. The staff were kept very busy but still maintained a smiling and professional approach. I didn't have any food but it did look lovely and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. It's nice to be able just to sit at a bar and have a few beers without being told its table service only or I have to make a reservation.

Despite being foreign tourists with no knowledge of German, we were served very professionally and without any problem. The food itself was very good, the Currywurst that was served to us made us fall in love with this dish. Nice and professional service, pleasant and intimate atmosphere.

Absolutely huge portions, excellent.Great flavours, excellent service from Waiter bar man,had menus in different languages.He was lovely, funny. Some of the other food coming out were just so huge in portions, particularly the pork hock/leg!

Great German restaurant. They even played German music in the background. The curry wurst is very good. The curry isn’t overpowering and the potatoes herbs are spot on. The pork knuckle (ham hock) was also very good. It looks intimidating but the meat is super tender and moist. We also got a beer and mirinda soda. All in all this seems like an authentic German bar. Wait staff is also friendly. The place is a little warm due to the air conditioner being off. Total for all these items was 45 euros or $50.
