Fränky in Berlin

There were a total of six of us today and we were all very enthusiastic about the delicious food (goose legs with all the trimmings) and the very loving, attentive and funny service. A wonderful evening and definitely not the last.

An entertaining afternoon with good food and good beers. We'd love to come back!

The Fränky is a gastro pub for EVERYONE. Drinks and food at a real price, which is even more worth it when you take into account the warm service and the great ambience. I never want to miss this place again, where you can watch all the football games (!)! Annette, Franzi and Fränky are born hosts. ❤️ Update: Of course, Annette also offers seasonal cuisine and, in winter, homemade mulled wine.

Nice little neighborhood pub. Hertha fans can watch all games here. The tarte flambée is very tasty and the host and landlady are very friendly and always have an open ear.

So today we were in this nice restaurant or pub for the first time.... There was goose leg or breast with everything on it and very, very tasty 👍🥲 and if you want to eat something different, you have enough choice here 😁 You can eat very well , watch football or simply enjoy the Old Berlin pub atmosphere, there is something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is great👍 and the service and service is also great👍 All in all, we weren't there for the last time today, because we can only recommend this restaurant. I was there with my colleagues for the Christmas party and that was the second time. Everything was TOP again this year! Really nice Berlin pub, you have to like Franky's sense of humor, if you're from Berlin you'll love him😍. The food is legendary: we had tarte flambée and goulash soup, had Wienerschnitzel and fried Jans ne Jute, a gift from God. Things get difficult when Franky goes into the cellar, you have to order the beer beforehand, otherwise it sometimes takes longer. Great video screen👌. There's Smokie playing there or football is also a Herta fan bar👌👍

Great food, just like your mother's and a great tapped Augustiner on tap is simply a pleasure. Unique and fair in Berlin. I'm always happy to come back to you. It's worth trying out. Best regards

Yesterday we were at Fränky's for the second time. The food is very tasty and also sufficient. Really like nuts. The slightly longer preparation time is worth it for this freshly prepared meal. The service is friendly and very attentive. It definitely wasn't our last visit there, repeat guaranteed!

I had the opportunity to live very close by so I went many times, the owners are very friendly and the bar is incredible, it's been a while since I lived nearby and I still go every time I have the chance.

My heart place in Friedenau. Because of the warm and relaxed atmosphere as well as the delicious and affordable selection of food and drinks, I chose Fränky's as my 60th celebration location, and all my expectations were exceeded. A wonderful place with wonderful hosts; There was also a buffet with suckling pig, which each of my 40 guests really enjoyed.

Nice pub, nice place, unfortunately all the waiters are almost always extremely unfriendly and overwhelmed. The customer is then not king but is complained about. Unfortunately, again and again.

I'm currently visiting my brother in Berlin. On Friday I went to Fränky's to watch football. The atmosphere in front of and behind the counter was good, people were joking and laughing. On Sunday we went back for dinner. Again the host couple was friendly and the food was very tasty 😋. Yesterday my brother and I went back to finish my visit. There was the long-awaited beef roulade 😉. Very, very tasty 😋 😋!!! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Berlin and then I'm looking forward to a visit to Fränky's 😊!! Quaint pub, I felt comfortable from the start, very nice service, delicious food, there is a lot to discover, imaginative rooms...

Quaint fan bar, football on the big screen, super friendly service and very tasty food, there's still good old home cooking here, we'll be happy to come back. The pub is also smoke-free, which I find very positive as a currently pregnant woman. There was even a sausage for the dogs 👍🏻

Disrespectful treatment of regular customers I have been a regular/loyal guest for over a year now and had the impression that I had found my favorite pub. Unfortunately, this is not the case, due to several “incidents” that manifest themselves in disrespectful and unfriendly behavior on the part of the two innkeepers. I'll just give a few examples so as not to go beyond the scope: 1. During a round of billiards that has just started, the landlady complains to me about how it could be that we are starting now (when she is about to finish work). It should be said here that her closing time was neither announced nor did the time indicate that the lady wanted to close the shop. 2. After we were served the “last round” and wanted to drink it in peace, we were whistled back in the most unfriendly manner by the landlady when we went outside to smoke. She asked us what we thought of going out to smoke now that she was about to close the shop. It should be said that there were many other customers in the store at this time, whom she had ignored and who were allowed to finish their billiards game in peace. This suggests that there may be a classification between regular customers who are more privileged than others. Finally, I should say that I will never enter this shop again and I hope that other guests will not continue to accept certain manners from the staff. I think this is the only way for the staff to reflect on how to deal with their paying customers has.

Our evening, which began very pleasantly, unfortunately came to an extremely unpleasant end, which in my opinion was completely unsuitable for gastronomy Tresenkraft and the local self-proclaimed “billiard club”. The barmaid's disrespectful behavior was expressed in blunt, mostly completely incoherent statements, such as that my non-smoking friend should no longer enter the outdoor area so often while she was billing other guests. Unfortunately, this reproachful undertone continued throughout the entire evening. The waiting time for a “Köpi” can be compared to the commercial breaks on private television. If the order does arrive, there is no guarantee that it will be the right one. After a discussion with the “Alpha” of the billiard gang, who was in mid-life crisis, I finally wanted to pay my bill. The waitress's "favorite regular", who was gesticulating heavily in gray sweatpants and a Hawaiian shirt, tried to intimidate us with evil looks and aggressive articulations while he was putting the next fee into the pool table for another game (after work). However, the people working there didn't care how their other guests were treated there. After thoroughly investigating why the “after work” announcements shouted through the bar via microphone do not apply to the “pool professionals”, I came to no conclusion. The bill: To my regret, I discovered that various beers were labeled incorrectly or not at all. When the visibly confused waitress called the boss to correct the bill, “something” was simply entered into the cash register system in a wildly speculative manner. Such behavior towards well-paying and loyal regular guests is unacceptable and rules out future visits.

Apparently drunk with success from various reports on regional television, there is little left of the hospitality preached, so that 5* unfortunately became this rating. Even if you follow all the rules, you are still subject to the whims of the “professionals” operating the place. Apart from the fact that orders are often missed, I was shouted at because I threatened to exceed the waitress's arbitrarily chosen closing time by entering the outside area to talk to a smoking customer. I would have already paid if there hadn't been a queue at the counter anyway, but I still had to be reprimanded LOUDLY in front of other guests that I was a regular and had to know when the lady planned to finish work and not smoke outside anymore (I am a non-smoker). Such rules apparently do not affect selected favorite guests, who meanwhile add another round of billiards and "heroically" buy the waitress's favor through encouragement. I'm a good paying customer, not an elementary school student. This bar has passed the peak of success. Go as long as it's reasonably good. It doesn't get any better.

I don't even know where to start. The store is a disaster from front to back. The landlady and the innkeeper are so unfriendly and rude. You are treated condescendingly and as if you should consider yourself lucky to be sitting there. When we were having a family meal, the landlady shouted at the nice waitress and embarrassed her in front of us. This seems to be standard in this store. She served us nicely throughout the evening, but strangely enough, she didn't charge us anything, but had to give the innkeeper a tip at the end of the evening. Accordingly, it was less fancy and we weren't sure whether it was even usable. When it comes to food, we all waited at least 1.5 hours and actually wanted to eat together as a family. The food looked unhygienic and not well presented for the price. All in all, you just scare away guests instead of getting them to come back. I advise everyone to have this store. When I read the other negative reviews, I also find it a shame that feedback is not taken into account and only unfriendly, snotty and cheeky answers come back. As a company, you should also admit mistakes and work on yourself. The motto used to be: “the customer is king”

The veal liver is unsurpassedly good! A Hertha pub with a really great atmosphere. Only recommended!

I was with you for the first time yesterday and it was very nice. There was a very pleasant atmosphere and the staff was super friendly and accommodating, even though it was so busy! Next time I'll just order something to eat from you to try your food, because when I wanted to order something to eat yesterday, I was told that the meal could take an hour. But since it was so crowded, I could understand that and it wasn't bad at all! I will definitely recommend you and will definitely come back to you again soon. I wish you a pleasant evening.

Dear Franky and Anette, it was very nice again today. I was able to really enjoy my birthday thanks to a good friend. Food was good, drinks too... Oh yes, congratulations on becoming grandma and grandpa.... I'm particularly happy because this is also my birthday... I felt particularly in good hands with you...

Great place if you wanna enjoy good authentic german (berlin) cuisine. Prices are fair, staff is very friendly. All german football matches are bering shown on big screens in and outside.

If you want to experience discriminatory treatment , go there. The waitress when i asked for non gluten options, speaking bad german, was offensive and aggressive . A behavior that should be denounced.

Quaint Berlin pub with very nice service

My husband and I enjoy going here. Lots of screens with cool music videos or sports. There is a relaxed, relaxed atmosphere and the food is really tasty here.

I'm actually not a pub fan at all. The four of us were in this lovely restaurant today and had a great time. The food was great - no, it was top notch, the drinks were to our liking, it was just fun to stop by there - we say THANK YOU and would love to come back :-))))).

Tolle Fussballkneipe. Bedienung und Inhaber mit Herz. Da nicht geraucht wird, kann dort auch prima mit Kindern Fußball gucken. Angenehmes Publikum. Es wird ordentliches Fassbier unterschiedlicher Brauereien ausgeschenkt. Bei Herthasiegen gibts nen Schnaps. Wir kommen gerne dort hin.

Wir lieben die Atmosphäre hier und können sowohl die Getränke und das Essen wärmstens empfehlen. Die Küche ist die beste die ich in Berlin kenne und es wird alles mit Liebe zubereitet. Ohne Essen sollte auch keiner aus dieser Location gehen. Nicht zu vergessen, das man hier jedes Fußballspiel sehen kann.

Essen kann ich leider nicht bewerten. Aber das Ambiente und der Service wahren erstklassig. So einen Coolen Laden würde ich mir auch in Bremen wünschen. Ich komme bestimmt wieder

Der Wirt hat Freude an seiner Arbeit, in seinem Laden. Das merkt man. Die Wirtin eher nicht. Das merkt man leider auch. Eine Frechheit wie sie teilweise die Gäste behandelt. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung in der Kneipe hat leider sehr stark nachgelassen. Draußen kann man aber gut sitzen und zum lecker Flammkuchen was trinken.

Feinste Hausmannskost und viel Ha-Ho-He.

Sehr gutes Ambiente, wer allerdings vom Chef (Frank) selbst bedient wird muss sich auf - meistens - wirklich unfreundlichen und pampigem Service gefasst machen. Das steht leider im Kontrast zu den sehr freundlichen anderen Bedienungen. Bin hier gerne zum Hertha schauen hergekommen (auch mit größeren Gruppen) aber wurde leider ziemlich enttäuscht... Leider ein paar regelmäßige Kunden weniger.

Alt Berliner Kneipe mit richtig guter Hausmannskost zu unglaublichen geringes kleines Geld. Hier wird wirklich alles frisch und selbst zubereitet. Man wartet zwar kurz, hey aber mega geil.

Me encanta este lugar, a toda hora es agradable y en cualquier estacion del año.

Das ist, was eine gemütliche Restaurant Wirtschaft ausmacht: Herzlich, richtig guten Flammekuchen und sehr gute Speisen der deutschen Küche. Da werden wir die Speisekarte hoch und runter futtern, versprochen!

Fränky und Anette haben die Friedenauer Gastro-Szene wirklich bereichert: gute, solide Kneipenküche zum anständigen Preis, eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und eine Herzlichkeit, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt! Vielen Dank dafür von Eurem neuen Stammgast :)

Gute alte deutsche Hausmannskost. Schmeckt sehr gut und man wird satt vorallem, ist das Lokal sehr sauber und gemütlich. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Einfach gemütlich und toll, dass wir so eine nette Kneipe in unserer Nachbarschaft haben. Futtern ist wie bei Muttern und wirklich bezahlbar. Franky und seine Frau sind aus dem Kiez nicht wegzudenken. Bleibt, wie Ihr seid!

Essen so unglaublich lecker, dass wir am nächsten Tag direkt wieder hingefahren sind.

Es gibt ihn also doch noch, den sehr aufmerksamen Service. Zumal noch sehr süß und bezaubernd. Diesen Spot zu genießen ist für jeden gemacht der einen wirklich authentischen Charme Berlins verspüren möchte. Wir waren als Berlin-Besucher da und haben einen sehr angenehmen Abend verbracht. Super Essen, gute Bierauswahl, nette Bedienung, angenehme Gäste und Preise wie vor 20 Jahren. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Ich war jetzt das 2 te mal da und ich fühle mich super wohl. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und ich werde öfter di Location besuchen.

Ich kenne die "Kneipe" seit sehr vielen Jahren unter verschiedenen Inhabern. Franky führt diese nun seit einigen Jahren mit sehr viel Liebe. Es gibt dort neben allen Hertha Spielen viel Sport zu sehen, wie es vorher auch schon war. Alle Getränke werden zu angemessenen Preisen angeboten und Du kannst kleine Snacks dazu bestellen wie auch ein umfangreiches Gericht. Es schmeckt alles sehr gut! Das entscheidende ist aber, daß hier noch der Gast als solcher wahrgenommen wird und äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient wird. Das liebe ich sehr. Auch das Miteinander ist hier sehr angenehm. Noch ein kurzes Wort zur Einrichtung: Es sind viele kleine Details, die einem das Gefühl vermitteln im Wohnzimmer zu sitzen und ein warmes Gefühl erzeugen!!! Von mir gibt es eine 100%ige Empfehlung.

Sehr familiäre Kneipe, in der man sich wohlfühlt! Die Kneipe wird von einer herzlichen Familie geführt. Die Bierpreise sind äußerst fair und zudem gibt es diverse hausgemachte Leckereien (Schnitzel, Flammkuchen, Burger etc.), welche ebenfalls zu angemessenen Preisen angeboten werden. Ha Ho He

Ein eindeutige Kiez-Kneipe wo sich anscheinend die Nachbarschaft von Jung bis Alt trift. Der Geruch nach Fritierfett war für mich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Service war gut und aufmerksam. Extra hinfahren würde ich aber nicht. Nachtrag nach der Antwort des Inhabers: Ich war am 29.12.22 bei Euch, da war der Laden , welcher hier auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, offen. Ich habe auch noch mit meiner Begleitung gesprochen, was meine Wahrnehmung betraf, und es bleibt dabei. Und ich habe vor meiner Rezession nachgedacht,

Downtown Friedenau! A great spot to enjoy football⚽️ on big TVs and plenty of them. They have a full menu as well as a full bar. On warm days you can sit outside and watch the games while enjoying a cold bier. Great spot in downtown Friedenau.
