Everything at this Italian restaurant in Potsdam is just perfect, from the very pleasant, friendly service to the Italian flair and the delicious food. We highly recommend it to everyone and would be happy to come back.

We were there with a small group (8 people) and were fortunate enough to be able to reserve a table. We ordered different dishes, which were served simultaneously after a short wait. The food was delicious, and friendly service rounded off the excellent service.

Trattoria Toscana was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. A very friendly welcome, very kind and attentive service, and delicious food. When the bill came, we were able to choose a drink on the house. I highly recommend the Grappa Marzadro and Grappa Le Dic'otto; it's very digestible. I highly recommend the Trattoria Toscana in Potsdam 👍.

When we got there the restaurant was really full and unfortunately we had to wait at least 50 minutes for the food!

We were here a year ago and were so impressed that we ate at the trattoria on both days of our short break. So, full of anticipation, we reserved tables again this year – unfortunately, our return visit was a complete disappointment. Even when we arrived, there was no table prepared, even though we had reserved. The terrace was full. Inside, we were first offered a small table and then a dirty table, which was only roughly set with cutlery and napkins – the tablecloth remained dirty, the walls were smeared with food scraps, and the chair cushions were stained and greasy. That's not fitting for a restaurant with this reputation. The drinks arrived quickly, but we waited 50 minutes for our starter (vitello tonnato) – without bread and with exactly three capers. Only after three requests from different waiters and a trip to the bar did the chef finally bring us bread – by which time 10 minutes had already passed. The main courses (steaks) still didn't arrive after another half hour, so we finally, exasperated, asked for the bill. There was no apology or even a word of regret—instead, just a shrug and the comment that there weren't enough staff and the terrace was full. We understand that in principle, but then you have to tell the guests beforehand or limit capacity instead of letting service and quality suffer like that. One thing is clear to us: We won't be back. It's a real shame, as we were absolutely thrilled last year.

A fairly large restaurant with great attention to detail in the decor. It's fun to look around. The food is good and reasonably priced. We were there during two family celebrations. Therefore, conversation at our table was impossible. The tables were so close together that you always felt like you were sitting in the way of the waiters.

Baby-friendly restaurant. We had dinner with our 3-month-old baby, and it was great. A quiet place with a great atmosphere, and it's very comfortable to spend time with the baby. Homemade gnocchi with butter: the best dish. Fantasy noodles: the sauce was a bit weak, canned mushrooms. Pizza: not recommended.

The food was very, very good, and the price/performance ratio was really top-notch. Unfortunately, because it was probably so busy and there weren't enough servers, our drinks weren't refilled. Just a side note, but we would definitely go back.

Even though it's a trattoria, I ordered pizzas to go and picked them up. The reviews on Google looked good, so I gave it a try. My expectations were exceeded, however! Yes, the pizzas cost €1 more than elsewhere, BUT they were so good and really big. Baked in a real stone oven, they were simply delicious. The owner was a friendly man who, despite his busy schedule, took the time for a quick chat. If I'm ever in Potsdam again, I'd gladly come back.

Wonderful place! I felt like I was in Italy! The staff are German-speaking Italians, extremely polite and courteous!!! We arrived 10 minutes before opening and were seated and offered a menu. The pasta was amazing!!! The Aperol was also great!!!

At Bruno's, everything is simply top-notch. I can't think of anything that could be wrong. Besides the excellent food, the excellent service is definitely worth mentioning.

The restaurant is very quietly located near the Havel River. The value for money is perfect. So is the service. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or our food. Our pasta was very, very tasty. We will definitely return on our next trip to Potsdam.

A classic Italian restaurant with renowned Italian cuisine. A beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, attentive service. The portions are generous and the quality is very good. I had classic Italian dishes like vitello tonnato and saltimbocca, which I was completely satisfied with.

Incredibly delicious food - would love to go back

Very tasty pizza, we come to Potsdam just for that. We stopped off in Berlin on our way home over Pentecost. Very nice and friendly staff. Everything was great.

One of the best tomato sauces I've ever had, both for lasagna and our spaghetti. The pizza was also excellent. Nice and thin and crispy! The servers were attentive and friendly! I absolutely recommend this place!

Great service - good value for money - terrace facing the lake

Excellent food. I imagined myself in Tuscany. I'm going for the truffle pizza. Pair it with the perfect wine. It's definitely worth eating here. The service is first-class, and the ambiance leaves nothing to be desired.

I would recommend reserving a table! The location is very, very nice! The atmosphere is good. The seating is rather upscale. The food is standard Italian. We ordered pizzas. They were tasty, but nothing special. We'll be back again in the fall to try the pasta wrapped in Parmesan cheese. They're only available from September to April. Otherwise, the drinks were very good. The restroom was also fine. And the service was okay. In summary, I would say it's a good restaurant to go to with your parents (the average age was 50+). So, to recommend a good restaurant in Potsdam, this one is a good choice. However, I would prefer other restaurants to go to with my partner.

We were tourists in Potsdam and found the trattoria via Google. Even though the weather was great, we managed to get a table on the terrace, even though it was very busy. A nice restaurant in a very nice location. If you want to eat very well and inexpensively, this is the right place for you. The service is very friendly and very quick, you are shown to the seat. The food, today it was pizza, was very plentiful and there was a free little “nightcap”. All in all, highly recommended!

The risotto was excellent, the calzone was also very tasty, and the children's schnitzel was a huge portion - our daughter was completely satisfied. Nevertheless, there were a few weak points: The service was rather average - unfortunately our second bottle of water was forgotten. The ambience outside also left a lot to be desired: there were tablecloths, but the faded flowers from the previous year were still in the windows. The outdoor area was only partially open, although it was well attended. Some guests also sat indoors. Overall, we can't say much about the interior - only that our daughter didn't want to go to the toilet because, in her opinion, it was very dirty. Conclusion: The food was really excellent, but there is still room for improvement in terms of service and the design of the outdoor area.

Speaking loudly doesn't help, as the people at other tables also become increasingly loud. Soundproofing would be appropriate.

Best Italian in Potsdam West. Great waiters, very good pasta and pizza and always a great daily menu with new things. The mustard crusted lamb was to die for. Always happy to come back.

We reserved a table by phone and were lucky to get a seat because it was quite full. We were warmly welcomed and immediately shown to a table. There were already olives at the table and bread was served. Everything happened quite quickly, the atmosphere was good, the waiters were very nice, the menu was very appealing and there was a board with additional offers on the menu. All in all it was a pleasant evening with good food and good wine. Thank you.

Unfortunately the staff was unfriendly and reprimanding. There was obviously no agreement between each other, as a dish was served contrary to the previous order. There was then an unfriendly and condescending comment about extra olives that had not been eaten but had not been ordered beforehand, and afterwards the leftovers that had been requested to be taken away were “accidentally” thrown away by the chef. There was also a stomach ache on the way home. Unfortunately it wasn't a nice and relaxing evening as hoped...

Fantastic food as always, it gets very busy on Friday evening, maybe choose another day if you want to entertain yourself. But it fits the Italian feeling.

Authentic Italian cuisine – a real highlight in Potsdam! For us, Trattoria Toscana is one of the best Italian restaurants in Potsdam. We've been there several times and each time we've been impressed by the excellent quality of the food, the great service and the lovely atmosphere. The homemade pasta is simply phenomenal, you can taste the freshness and the love with which it is prepared. The calamari is also a delight, perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty. The steak is cooked to perfection, juicy and of first-class quality. And of course the pizza shouldn't go unmentioned, crispy base, perfect ingredients, simply a taste experience. There is also a great selection of wines to round off the culinary experience. A special highlight for us is the attention given to our little Chihuahua. His steak is always freshly prepared and specially cut into small bites, a gesture that we really appreciate and that shows how warm and service-oriented this restaurant is. The service is always friendly, attentive and ensures that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. The ambience is cozy and inviting, and in summer it's great to sit outside and enjoy the food in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine with first-class ingredients and warm service in Potsdam, you should definitely visit Trattoria Toscana. Absolute recommendation, we would love to come back again and again!

Price performance is just right here!! We ordered the same pizza twice and were pleasantly surprised at how big and tasty it was. Reservations were almost necessary as it was very busy. Parking spaces are available.

The best pizza I've ever eaten. A wagon wheel and sooo delicious. The ox cheeks also tasted great. The wine was a poem, the dessert (mocha ice cream) melted in your mouth... the staff and the boss were incredibly attentive and friendly despite being busy. I ordered a medium-cooked fillet. Even after I sent it back and they cooked it a bit more, it was still rare inside. I refused to eat it, yet I was still charged the full price.

All the food was of high quality and you can tell that the cooking here is made with love. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. You immediately feel comfortable and in good hands. Definitely a clear recommendation – we will definitely come back!
