Service is catastrophic, very unstructured and in the end we even found plastic in our pizza

I had a table for 6 people for today, May 24, 2025. We were able to sit outside. Everything went great. We ate pizza for two, gnocchi, salmon, and lasagna. The lasagna wasn't good and went back. My son was served. He got an espresso on the house. It was my birthday dinner, so I paid the bill in cash without checking. We had 3 liters of white wine, 0.5 liters of Lambrusco, and a Spezi. Total around 174 euros, gave 200. At home, I realized that the lasagna had been charged in full. Please comment, thank you.

Excellent Italian cuisine with a special charm

It's no longer what it used to be...seems to be under new management....no longer our restaurant

If you want to experience how waitresses work in “lame turtle after a siesta” mode, then you’ve come to the right place. Four waiters shuffle through the almost empty hall (maximum 5% full) and seem to be looking for their meaning in life somewhere between the tables. We had a pizza with tuna – it was really good, you can eat it and even enjoy it. But! The pizza came uncut even though we specifically asked to share it. The waiter then convincingly claimed that we had specially ordered them uncut. Sorcery! With the second beer, the waiting game began: ten minutes of waiting while the staff shuffled around the room with a calmness of mind, as if each step were a personal act of heroism. The beer itself was… well, you don’t miss anything. Conclusion: The food is okay, the service is a bit of a disaster. If you have a lot of time and strong nerves, you could still get your money's worth here.

I have been waiting for 45 minutes just to order pizza. After this experience, it's embarrassing for me and my friends to waste time here.

From the outside it's a bit old and not very appealing. But very comfortable inside. Well attended, but you can get a seat quickly if you order one shortly in advance. Please make long-term reservations for large groups. The service was very, very accommodating, friendly and attentive. The food was brought to the table early and hot. During rush hour you will definitely have to take a bit of time with you. Still, we didn't feel like we were being intrusive. The staff was really very friendly. Went to Trattoria Toscana for a friend’s birthday with a big group and had a great time. The service was excellent and super friendly, creating a lovely, welcoming family vibe. The food was authentic and tasty – big pizzas, generous portions, and a solid menu overall. I had the vitello tonnato and pumpkin lasagna, both really flavorful. Prices were fair too. Would definitely go back!

Terrible! What happened to this once good trattoria? We ordered a lasagne for €13 and a vegetarian lasagna for €16. At this price the expectation is accordingly. Unfortunately, both were so bad that we had to return them. They were swimming in cream sauce, tasted of nothing and were lukewarm inside. They had nothing to do with an Italian lasagne that we were looking forward to. The waiter reacted insultedly, pointing out that they had already sold some today and no one had complained. At least we were able to choose something else: Pizza Tonno: carelessly dumped tuna, 2-3 onion rings, lots of oil, no taste. Pizza Calzone: a big balloon, tasteless and bland. Of the 3 women's toilets, 2 were blocked. The whole store looks unkempt and musty. I am disappointed and will never go there again. This used to be a really authentic Italian restaurant - what a shame!

We had a terrible experience: spaghetti tasted like old fat and the shrimp had no taste. The olive oil on the tables is completely tasteless sunflower oil, absolutely dubious! The smell from the toilets in the basement was unbearable while we were eating and was still present hours later - we were already back home.

The very last thing in the shop, the atmosphere is totally moldy and old, the toilet has a smell that is almost unbearable even when peeing, the food is not ridiculous for the price and the service leaves a lot to be desired and more... we had reserved a group of 8 and everyone got their food alone so we couldn't eat together. No service too expensive for what is served and no recommendation.

For me, one of the best pizzerias in the city in western Berlin. There is no skimping on the ingredients here. The tomato sauce tastes great. We ordered a pizza to take away and walked to Tempelhofer Feld. The staff was very friendly. Keep it up 🙏👍.

We were there with a small group. Very quaint, cozy restaurant. Very nice waiters, very accommodating and very attentive. I immediately felt very comfortable. You didn't have to wait long for the drinks and the food came very quickly. Everything tasted very good and the prices were reasonable. If I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely visit the restaurant again.

At the time when the trattoria was run in Italian, there were 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ without exception. Today, however, Albanian-run, it is only the lowest mediocre. No soul, no class and the dishes only live on the long-gone quality.

The fact that a restaurant that calls itself "Italian" makes carbonara pasta with cooking cream speaks for itself. Terrible experience. The quality of the food is well below the average of other good Italian restaurants in the city, although it is true that you have to look carefully (reviews, photos, menu). The service and cleanliness are not remarkable either. Try another place!

The food felt dry and not really fresh. I believe it is a good pizza place, but the rest of the menu is not wonderful. The staff is super nice and the place ends up being cosy.

We are staying down the street and I wanted to try a pizza in the area. This pizza was a 7 out of 10 for us, one of the best pizzas we have had in Germany. I also got the vegetable soup, the portions are huge and I ordered to much food but we were able to get my soup to go.

The food is portioned in large portions and tastes good, but you have the feeling that the waiter is always looking at your plate to see how much you have already eaten.

Maybe we were unlucky. The vegetable lasgne was subterranean lifeless and loveless. The cheese and cream covering concealed what...? The pasta dish didn't score either. Everything was overcooked and unusually bland. I can only recommend the well-chilled sparkling water without reservation. The restaurant was well attended. Plenty of space and friendly for small groups. Overall it is more dark than atmospheric and a slight smell of sewage is always present. And I thought nothing could go wrong with espresso. But it works. Just too expensive for lukewarm. Too bad.

I expected more quality olive oil. Except of that prices, atmosphere and the meal were pretty good. You can choose without thinking.

First the good: a brilliant pizzeria for Berlin standards, huge pizzas with delicious, fresh and tasty toppings at a very fair price. The waiters are also nice if you take them out of their routine a bit. But in winter, in wet gray Berlin November, the Italian looks strange but doesn't mean it that way. In any case, they are all real Italians and they have a lot of staff there, very pleasant. A huge menu with a lot of delicious choices. As a gourmet, I find some dishes a bit overloaded with ingredients. The ambience is great in a rustic country house style. I like it, even if some parts seem a bit worn. But that is intentional even in the original state. Many restaurants have the problem that the inserts in the floor drainage into the washroom are not assembled correctly, so that air is drawn in there. Definitely highly recommended and recommended, the Italian cuisine in Berlin is a must. Especially when it's really Italian. There is plenty of space, even for groups. The neighborhood in the area isn't that great, but when you have the door closed and the candle on, you forget everything with the delicious pizza.. Please keep it up and pay attention to the quality, with Pizzamarinara and Pizza Frutti di Mare I could also imagine being more faithful to the recipes.

We came here on a recommendation. Spontaneously without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. Despite a Christmas party and therefore a lot going on, the service and friendliness was perfect. Price-performance is excellent. The size of the pizza can't be beat. Card payment also possible and the ambience is exactly to our taste. Conclusion, we'll be back.

We were invited to the Tratoria for the first time, quite dark but cozy. As a starter we had a Vitello Tonnato, unfortunately without homemade mayonnaise, just veal with tuna. And the usual caper apples are also missing, but instead there is delicate cucumber, which is a bit poor for 13 euros. The main course was a lamb fillet with a herb crust, very tasty. The pizzas are by far the largest I've ever seen, we'll try them next time. The staff is friendly and since it is always very busy on Saturdays, we were always served quickly.

Hello everyone. I wanted to warn everyone that they are thieves. I worked with them for 3 days the first time I did the test. Afterwards I worked with them for 2 days. I did more than 20 hours but he didn't pay me.... Attention.....

I've been eating there for many years. Delicious Italian dishes and pizza, friendly service, traditional decor.

It's a shame that I was only a guest in Berlin for a short time. Otherwise I would have eaten my way through the breathtaking menu. If I come back to this terrible city, I'll happily eat here again! Definitely recommended 👍

Food was lukewarm after waiting 45 minutes for pizza. The cheapest salami on the pizza and the bottom was charred. There was no bread. Napkins and cutlery were taken straight from the table after you had put the things down yourself. Very loud, too crowded and you had to get up after paying so that the next guests could come. We have rarely experienced such impudence.

It was great years ago and now one waiter in particular is very unfriendly. Ice cream suddenly stops being sold in the middle of the day. Funnily enough, other employees also found this very strange. This waiter didn't even ask if everything was OK. Strollers should be kept somewhere else & who is liable if they are stolen? The pizza is far too big for the plate and it only tastes like bread because it is far too thin. Never again & we were regular customers.

Friends of ours took us for a nightcap after a concert. I couldn't resist the delicacies that were spread around us. And it was worth it, the pizza here is to die for.

Wir waren hier vor einem Konzertbesuch auf dem Tempelhofer Feld: Das beste, was sich sagen lässt, ist dass die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich sind. Ansonstem schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen. Die Zutaten sind sehr billig und Portionen zu groß. Am Ende haben wir für zwei Salate, eien Pizza und 1xNudel plus ein Glas Wein und einen Limoncello-Spritz 75,00 Euro gezahlt, was bei der Qualität völlig überzogen ist. Tomatensalat: Obwohl jetzt Hochsaison für Tomaten ist, waren diese sehr arm an Aroma, überzogen war der Salat von sehr viel Mayonnaise-Dressing und die begleitenden Rucola-Blätter waren welk. Vegetarische Pizza: Paprikastreifen kamen aus der Konserve; Oliven und Artischocken waren geschmacksneutral und eher säuerlich. Tomatensauce war einfach nur ungewürzt aus der Flasche und hatte einen muffigen Geschmack, Nudeln mit Birne, Walnuss, Parmaschinken in einer Butter-Balsamicosauce: Der Parmaschinken war in grobe Streifen geschnitten, das gesamte Gericht zu süß und nicht gut abgeschmeckt; die Sauce war einfach nur Mehlschwitze. Von den drei Damentoiletten waren zwei verschlossen/defekt, die dritte war verstopft. Und insgesamt machte das Restaurant innen einen etwas schmuddeligen Eindruck.

The staff were very friendly. But the ingredients are very cheap. It's been a long time since I've had such a bad meal: Tomato salad: Although this is high season for tomatoes, they were very poor in flavor, the salad was covered in a lot of mayonnaise dressing and the accompanying rocket leaves were wilted. Vegetarian pizza: pepper strips came from a can; Olives and artichokes were tasteless and rather sour. Tomato sauce was simply unseasoned from the bottle and had a musty taste, pasta with pears, walnuts, Parma ham in a butter-balsamic sauce: The Parma ham was cut into coarse strips, the entire dish was too sweet and not well seasoned; the sauce was just roux. Of the three women's toilets, two were locked/broken and the third was blocked. And overall the restaurant looked a bit dingy inside.

We wanted to order something from the menu, but it wasn't available. Then we had to take a different variant (more expensive)! The knives really aren't very sharp! The food is too oily... Would taste better with less oil!!! Otherwise everything is nice (outside terrace, service, drinks) There is a cheaper lunch menu!

Nice waiter who showed us a nice seat. Then there was nothing good anymore. 3 meals came late but were then mediocrely warm, side dishes came halfway through. There was also food 4.. At the end of the meal came the pizza....also at a good temperature so that you don't burn your mouth. Toilets and rooms in one Condition that gives a good estimate of the age of the restaurant. Yes, there may have been an increased order volume due to orders for Tempelhofer Feld and the “Ärzte”, but if you pre-order a place, this should perhaps be taken into account when processing. The taste is also rather mediocre. It's all subjective, but that's how five adults experienced it.

Only take cash that smells like money laundering. With today's low fees, there is no reason not to pay by card. Prices outside are suddenly no longer correct when you order inside and you pay 50% more. It's strange when there's a big event nearby at the same time... All the pizzas we ordered were charred and have slight competition from cheap frozen pizzas. In Italy this place is laughed at for the quality of the pizza 🤡

We were here before and after the Doctors concert. Before the concert we sat outside in the shade at what felt like 36 degrees. Since the shade was black parasols, it was very cozy underneath. I think that when the weather isn't that hot (it was actually 33 degrees according to the weather report), the beer garden is perfect because it is surrounded on all sides by plant boxes, fences and plants. Before the concert I only drank diesel (coke beer) there. After the concert we sat inside; it was now warmer there than outside. I shared a Pisa pizza (with Serrano ham and mushrooms) with my husband, which was completely sufficient given the size and the weather. We also drank green Berliner Weisse.

Food was good but staff were completely overwhelmed. Despite reservations for 16 people, we had to sit and eat on beer tents outside the restaurant area in the blazing sun. We got the first 16 drinks ourselves at the counter after 30 minutes of waiting. We were charged €54 for 8 bottles of plain water (32°). The doctors played on Tempelhoferfeld but we know that beforehand.

The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive. The waitress's recommendations were particularly excellent. The food was excellent! Whether pizza or pasta, both tasted great and were perfectly prepared. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it.

After not hearing much good about this Italian restaurant near Tempelhofer Feld, I still decided to give it a chance and I have to say that these negative experiences are apparently just based on rumors. The restaurant impresses with a diverse menu and pizzas the size of bus steering wheels. So the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Of course it's not the best pizza I've ever eaten, but these are definitely upper middle class. The outdoor area in particular impresses with its pleasant ambience, as it is separated from the usual events around an S-Bahn station by a hedge. I think Berliners know what I mean. The service staff is attentive without being intrusive. All in all, a solid restaurant that you wouldn't necessarily expect in this form in this neighborhood! Since there are stairs leading to the sanitary facilities, there is unfortunately no barrier-free access, which is a bit of a shame.

Great selection of original Italian dishes. Our pizzas were very tasty and really big, the price was really fair. Friendly staff :) we sat outside in the beer garden, which is right on the main street, so of course a little louder.

Unfortunately it wasn't that great, Dr Oetker can do better pizza and I haven't experienced him in terms of service but he can probably do it better too...

Country house style means a bit dark but cozy. Staff very nice and friendly but busy. You should definitely have patience. Food was very tasty. Lasagna was really tasty. My partner's pizza was big and he liked it. If you can't make it, you can have it packed up.

I have had dinner in this restaurant and I got sick the whole night. There is not much Italy here and the quality of the food I got served was a disaster. Be very careful of what you order.

I really like the pizza there, most similar to the Italian ones. Grilled calamari were nothing special I had higher expectations on this but overall I found it good. Service was also quick and kind. Overall a good experience
