Due Fratelli in Berlin

Really nice food, with big portions and good prices. Especially the lunch menu is a great deal. Went there twice during our trip in Berlin, both times had great pizza and pasta and the service was kind.

The food was delicious and was brought to our table without a long wait. The waiter from Cologne was very accommodating when our friend arrived late and unexpectedly and didn't hesitate to add another table. The man at the counter is very funny and also very accommodating. Highly recommended.

The food-to-price ratio is the best. And the portions are perfect. I recommend it 110%. And on top of that, the staff is fun and friendly. 😭❤️

When we reserved they did not tell us that they don’t have alcoholic beer for that day. I recommend this to be notified prior to reserving and arriving.

Berlin is a city full of wonders, from the tumultuous history to the resiliency of its people. For us travelers, we felt very welcomed by Lucas at Due Fratelli Ristorante. A great start to a great meal followed. My husband and I came twice to this restaurant on our trip as the food was good, the beer was flowing and the hospitality made us feel like home. Home is where the heart is! If you are looking for a “Mama Mia” experience, you came to the right place. The pizza was spot on, the Pasta was Al dente, and the salmon was grilled to perfection. We will someday come back to see Lucas and his warm smiles. Yamas!

The seafood pasta was stale. The seafood had a stale smell, as if it had been refrozen several times.

The food was delicious, and the lunch menu is definitely recommended. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The service was friendly, but unfortunately a bit slow—especially at lunchtime, a bit more tempo would have been nice. Nevertheless, overall, a good impression. I'd be happy to come back.

Thankfully not one of the super hip Italian restaurants, but a solid , down to earth one, really good food, all handmade e.g. the tortellini, excellent Espresso. I mean really excellent. I asked for bread and it came lightly toasted, per fare la scarpetta. Soul food. Zucchero in the background, quiet talking is possible which is never a given in Berlin.

The pizza was okay. Unfortunately, the service wasn't so good. There was no beer or wine in the restaurant, although someone on the terrace did get a beer. When I asked for the original spaghetti carbonara (without cream), the waiter didn't know what that meant. Even after I explained, he said it was only available with cream, which would be the original version. I opted for a pizza.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly over the years. I first ate here back in 2019 and it used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. Sadly, in 2025 I had to remove it from my favorites list on Google just to leave this review. Very disappointed.

Great food, seems like you’re in Italy. However I did order a bottle of Coca Cola and they bring me a glass in step of a bottle as I requested. I saw the waiter pouring my drink from a bottle that who knows when it was opened. That kind of change my experience in the place. I didn’t want to brother the guy. he looked a bit worried cause the place was empty. But I wish that he would say me that they don’t sell it on plastic, so I’ll have the opportunity to order something else.

For Italian tourists, it's worth eating there; it's rich and cheap, but they're not Italian chefs, but at least it's edible. Berlin culture: they never clean the tables and make a mess.

Got 2 nice lasagnas and one nice pizza, all tasty, quick and at fair price

I've been there several times with different people. Everyone loved it, whether it was pizza or pasta. The service was also super friendly. I would definitely go back.

We were looking for a place to have dinner on a Monday, and many pizzerias were closed, so we found this one. The waiter who served us was very kind. We ordered garlic and oil pasta and a margherita pizza, both of which were excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

The waiter told us there was no beer, but later we saw them serving beer to other tables. Additionally, we ordered a cheese plate and it came with pieces of butter as if it were one of the cheeses. The waiter never gave us any explanation about the dishes. ​The only good thing, besides the pizza, was the price. Very cheap. Overall, an unpleasant experience.

The atmosphere is very nice, with a quiet terrace. The waiter was a bit rude, as he told us before we sat down that he didn't serve any alcohol. The food was quick, but the pasta was very, very bland, while the pizza had a crispy, delicious crust. The ingredients were tasty, but the slices of ham were very, very thick. The price was around €15 per person.

The food is indeed very good, but they don't serve you beer (for Berlin... it's a shame). They have a no-alcohol policy :( I WON'T RETURN

A real Italian feeling. It’s cozy and family friendly, they welcome the children as well. The pizza and the pasta were great. You should also try their desserts. Children loved Kiba :D Unfortunately there are no more photos about the meals, disappeared to fast

Lunch for €7.90 - they serve pizza, pasta, and salads. Plenty of seating outside, and it moves pretty quickly. Pizza was very solid, especially for the price. Outside of lunchtime, other pizza places within walking distance offer stiff competition. The pasta isn't my cup of tea, but that may be more my thing than the quality. The drinks came quickly, of course; the server was nice, and the espresso was solid, although I missed the usual small glass of water. Sitting outside is especially nice when the weather is warm.

5 stars – Due Fratelli on Chausseestraße is like a vacation at Grandma's, only with better espresso and no family arguments. The brothers know what they're doing: crispy pizza, perfectly cooked pasta, and the house wine speaks to you like an old friend. No frills, just genuine Italian heart on your plate.

Very polite staff, fast service and fair prices!

Four of us stopped in spontaneously and received a friendly welcome. The atmosphere is pleasant for the price range. The food itself was incredibly delicious. Everyone enjoyed it! We'd love to come back!

Very well recreated Italian restaurant. Typical spacious tables with red checkered tablecloths. Good service, attentive and polite staff. They take very little time to attend and serve the food (in about 10 minutes we had the food on the table. Excellent pizzas. For pasta we ordered the spaghetti carbonara and they were not that successful, so I recommend the pizzas (we ordered prochiuto & funghi). Good price in general for the food, competitive with the area. The drinks (soft drinks) are expensive (€4.00 for the large draft Coca Cola, 0.4L). We would repeat.

We called beforehand to reserve a table. We were then told that we didn't have to make a reservation and that we should just come along. When we arrived at the restaurant, the first thing we were asked was whether we had a reservation. Irritatingly, we drew attention to the previous telephone conversation. They then gave us a table with the condition that it had to be available again within an hour at the latest. The food was very good, but we were given the bill before we finished eating (after about 40 minutes). Anything but hospitable.

Good food, pizzas are crispy and have good toppings - both in terms of quality and quantity - extremely friendly service and the price-performance ratio is good. It's also a good place to have a chat and usually no reservation is required. It's happened to me twice now that I got a Moretti instead of the Berliner Pils I ordered, which I didn't like - I notice the difference! We still really enjoy going there. 👍

The food was very good. There were four of us and we all enjoyed it very much. Small drawback, unfortunately there was no children's menu. So I paid full price for a portion that was way too big. Service was very quick and food came quickly too. However, we were the only ones at the time. But even though I took a little longer than the others to pick out the food, he remained standing at the table. That put some pressure on. Ambiance, it was very pleasant.

Food was fine, service was ok. Our server was a bit of a clown, wanting to be a little too funny and smart. When paying by card, we were told that tipping was mandatory. Even during our 3 trip to the USA, I never experienced anything like this. Prices are good in the restaurant so tips can be waived, but requiring you to pay a tip is not good hostmanship.

Excellent value for money. Really delicious food, reasonable portions, and good service. I'd be happy to return next time I'm in Berlin.

Everything is so tasty. The waiters are very polite, always smile:) it's pleasant to come back over and over again. The portions are big. As the request for the future, it would be great to have the olive oil on the table.

Huge pasta. One plate is easily enough for two. I ordered a carbonara and a bolognese to take away. Very good and very large. I just wanted to tell the waiter, who got angry when my card didn't go through, that he probably doesn't accept Wise or Visa. I was very upset with his lack of patience. I used my other Mastercard and everything went well, but I was very upset with the way I was treated. I know you don't like other nationalities very much, but I'm a tourist, I just came to have a look and go back to my country, okay? Be more patient with tourists.

Well this has never happened to me before. It was lunch time and they didn't serve a simple pizza for one whole hour. I haf ko drink, no food and lost my lunch time. Dont even bother coming here when there are great options around!

Order penne de la chef and you will not regret

I discovered this place by chance and decided to make a quick visit in the afternoon to enjoy a dessert and drink an espresso. There wasn't much going on when I arrived. As soon as I entered I asked the waiter about tiramisu. When I asked if it was homemade, he said yes, so I ordered a tiramisu and a double espresso. The order was served quickly, but unfortunately the tiramisu did not meet my expectations at all. It consisted mainly of whipped cream and ladyfingers - there was no trace of mascarpone. The typical taste of alcohol that makes a good tiramisu was also missing. In addition, the waiter poured a ready-made chocolate sauce over the dessert shortly before serving, which didn't make it any better. The espresso, however, was excellent. So overall my visit was mixed: good coffee, but a disappointing dessert.

There seems to be nothing to complain about, but... More could be done for the client. I ate spaghetti and it would be nice to have parmesan cheese with it or to taste pepperoni in the dish since it is in the name of the dish.

Very good pizzas, large portions. We also ordered salmon and a chicken dish, options for celiacs, gluten-free food, served with vegetables. The tartufo and tiramisu are spectacular.

Whenever I'm in Berlin, I eat here once. It's great value for money, I like the atmosphere and the service is very friendly and attentive.

Walking around Berlin being rejected by the restaurant we wanted to go, we spotted Due Fratelli. What a gem. Service, food was awesome. Admittedly, the intent was not to eat Italian in Berlin, but a decision we did not regret.

Very authentic Italian in the center of Senftenberg. Spaghetti con Tartuffo is outstanding but at €25 it's not exactly cheap either. Pasta tends to be the better choice. Very friendly staff, good overall package!

Ordered a pizza and they brought the wrong one. After I mentioned it to the waiter, he told me that this was my fault and acted super rude. He then ripped the Rucola off the pizza and brought it back with raw onions. Have to admit there had been some comedy to it.

Did the trick after a long day of sightseeing. Service was prompt and extra friendly after we told our server we were from Canada. Lasagna and penne with mushrooms and chicken were good value, considering other restaurant prices in the city.

Great value for money. Had a delicious meal (starter + pasta), drank draft beer and had a grappa at the end. Definitely recommended!

Pizza and pasta at a high German level. It's filling, cheap and as authentic as Pizza Hawaii. The only thing that's wrong is "Cucina Italiana" because nothing in this establishment is Italian except the beer from "Moretti". Italians cook and eat elsewhere...

The "Due Fratelli" on Chausseestraße in Berlin offers its guests a successful journey through typical Italian cuisine and also shines with super attentive and courteous service. The excellent service is rounded off by an excellent price/performance ratio and delicious dishes. The portions are generous and more than sufficient with only a very short waiting time. All in all, you can have very tasty food and a lovely evening at “Due Fratelli” for relatively little money. Absolute recommendation!
