Trattoria Pizzeria bei Rocco in Hemer

This was my second time there, always with a large group. It's nicely decorated, the pizzas are very good, and I didn't notice anything negative. My only "criticism," at a very high level, would be that the service could ask more often whether any orders are still available. Looking forward to next time!

We've eaten here several times. The quality is very good, and the prices are reasonable.

I was here for the first time in 40 years; I remember it as the Trevi Fountain. Very friendly staff 👍, very fair prices, and everything was delicious. We enjoyed the pizza and pasta.

I've been there for lunch several times now and it's just great. The service is very friendly, the prices are absolutely fair and it tastes fantastic... In addition, it is really amazing what is hidden behind this small, inconspicuous glass front at the entrance. Very nicely and comfortably furnished with lots of space. Clean kitchen, delicious food regardless of pizza, fish or meat dishes. Great service and Rocco is really unique.

Food used to be better... Pizza was quite small, service took a long time, even though it wasn't that busy..

We were there a few months ago. Unfortunately there are no fries (for the child). Otherwise everything was ok, not particularly good, but not bad either. But today's experience makes me sad. We ordered 4 pizzas, one with pineapple, to take away. (This time we bought fries for the child across the street) At home my child immediately wanted a piece of pineapple, but immediately spat it out again saying it didn't taste good. Then I tried it, it tasted strange. All 4 of us adults were of the opinion that the pineapple was not good and smelled “yeasty”/mushroomy. After everyone had eaten, the person who picked up the pizza went over to make a friendly complaint. The boss immediately denied everything, everything was fresh, we should come look in the kitchen (in a brisk tone). Super awkward situation. In the end we had the same pizza again. It smelled better, the pineapple was now fresh and crunchy (previously limp), and generally tastier. But I didn't eat the pizza with any appetite. I'll see whether the pizza was good tonight or tomorrow morning. Conclusion: we will not enter this pizzeria again and will not recommend it to others. They could have apologized and kept us as customers, but the boss decided against it and thus lost an entire family of customers.

Ok, Hemer is a few hundred kilometers away from Italy, but the food here is a few thousand kilometers away: it has nothing to do with Mediterranean cuisine! Salad with mayo dressing doesn't work at all. The pizzas come from the cardboard factory. The risotto with fruti di mare doesn't taste like the sea, but rather like a rain puddle in the Sauerland. Anyone who comes here has only themselves to blame!

A long-established pizzeria on the main street in Hemer. With an anteroom and behind it a large hall that is pleasantly furnished. The food was consistently good and the staff was always friendly. You can recommend it!

By far the worst lasagne I've ever tried. The dish was completely overcooked, so that the pasta sheets were just a mess, and the whole thing wasn't seasoned properly either. The sauce separated completely and looked like it had curdled. The dish looked as if leftover food from the previous day had been quickly put back in the oven. I've never noticed a hint of vinegar in lasagna before. I pointed this out to the waitress and she then called in the boss, who is probably also the cook. I politely explained my impression to him, whereupon he just said that everything was fine and that he often sells this lasagna and left offended without further comment. I left at least 80% of the portion, which wasn't too large anyway, and of course the full price was charged. The only thing I felt sorry for during the whole thing was the waitress, who was clearly embarrassed. By the way, this was the first time in my life that I left a meal because it was inedible. I have never experienced an unprofessional reaction like the one from the boss in my 57 years, it's a real shame that you have to write something like that.

Spontan auf der Durchreise mit einem Kollegen zu Mittag gegessen. Die Calzone war die beste, die ich in den letzten 10 Jahren hatte. Mit Getränk und Salat für 11€, in der heutigen Zeit ein Schnäppchen. Netter Service, nur der Außenbereich wirkt mit dem Kunstrasen ein wenig steril. Aber alles in allem top Leistung fürs Geld!

Das Essen war richtig richtig lecker, einfach nur zu empfehlen. Ich könnte mich schon in den Salat vor dem Hauptgang reinsetzen, so ein leckeres Dressing.

Excelente restaurante. Todo muy rico, verduras a la plancha, jamón con melón, espaguetis, vitelo tonnatto ,buenísimo. Sitio en el te gusta repetir.

Sehr sehr guter Service! Wirklich freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Es gab einfach so leckeren frischen Salat und Brot zur Vorspeise. Die Pizza war sehr schmackig. Moderate Preise. Insgesamt sehr gut!

Es war sehr lecker, alle waren super freundlich. Allerdings war es viel zu kalt in dem Restaurant. Sparen ok, aber die Gäste sollten nicht mit Jacke auf den Beinen da sitzen müssen :(

Die Speisen sind sehr schmackhaft und zu einem guten Preis. der Chefkoch kommt auch regelmäßig zu den Gästen und es gibt noch ein kleines Schmankerl. Da Rocco ist ein Italienisches Restaurant, wo es sich lohnt, auch die traditionsreiche italienische Küche zu probieren. nicht immer nur Pizza, Pasta.

Ok, wir hatten nicht vorbestellt. Ich war das Wochenende zu Besuch in Hemer bei meiner Familie und habe spontan ein Restaurant mit einer Freundin gesucht. Wir haben den letzten Platz bekommen. Das Essen war ok. Aber der Service!! Ich wohne schon seit langem nicht mehr in Deutschland und bin immer wieder verwundert, dass sich Gaststätten halten, in denen der Gast als Belastung scheint. Unmöglich! Mitten in der Essensbestellung lief die Bedienung weg und kam ewig nicht wieder, es kam uns vor, als wären wir besser zu Hause geblieben. Es war kein schönes Erlebnis und ich werde auf keinen Fall zurückkehren. Schade, ich war immer gerne dort für Familienessen, aber der Service hat mich fast dazu veranlasst, die Lokalität zu verlassen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, besonders Pizza, die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und der Service ist gut. Die Preise liegen in einem mittleren Bereich.

Ich komme immer wieder gerne her - das Essen ist klasse, der Chef erkundigt sich gern, ob es schmeckt oder ob man Sonderwünsche hat, die er dann umsetzt: Super. Egal, ob Nudelgericht oder Pizza, außer den "Standards" finden sich interessante Gerichte mit manchmal ungewöhnlich kombinierten, aber stets frischen Zutaten. Und die Preise, vor allem mittags, sehr günstig.

Rocco ist einfach super. Die Pastagerichte sind ein Genuss, der Mittagstisch unschlagbar günstig und gut. Am Abend lohnt ein Blick in die Fisch- und Fleischgerichte der Karte.

We've eaten here twice, a year apart, when we were in Hemer for an annual business meeting. Both times it was busy with a lot of local customers. The service is good, the Italian food is authentic, the atmosphere is pleasant. And the prices are incredible.

Authentische italienische Küche, die mehr bietet als die sonst übliche Pizza und Pasta. (Wobei die Pasta als Beilage sehr gut war). Frischer Fisch, Meeresfrüchte und Fleischgerichte sind gut zubereitet und auf den Punkt gegart. Die Portionen sind üppig, zu einem angemessenen Preis. Abzüge gibt's für die Salatsauce, die leider aus der Mayo-Flasche war. Schade. Sonst war es wirklich gut, mit aufmerksamem Service und dem Chef, der sich selbst am Tisch erkundigt hat, wie das Essen schmeckt.
