Trattoria Olive in München

Leider hat sich das Lokal für mich sehr verändert. Seit 1992 (bis 2021) war ich fast jeden Werktag hier, ich genoss das leckere Essen, die großen Portionen, die freundlichen KellnerInnen und insgesamt die Großzügigkeit (Mittagsmenü bis 17 Uhr!, auch nachmittags offen). Doch die Portionen sind so klein geworden (Nudelgericht nur noch halb so groß, beim Fischgericht nur 3 (!) dünne Kartoffelscheiben), dass ich mich über die Knauserigkeit ärgere und einfach nicht mehr so wie früher satt werde. Nudeln und Kartoffeln sind doch nicht so teuer! Lieber Domenico, kehre doch bitte zur alten Qualität zurück! Kürze meinetwegen die frühere Nudelgerichtgrösse um ein Drittel (statt um die Hälfte) und lass einige Kartoffelscheiben dazulegen, dann freu ich mich wieder über das schöne Lokal und werde wieder richtig satt!! ALL 3 PIZZAS WERE GREAT! So about "poorly topped" or too dark or sugar in the dough - I can NOT confirm! But there was a PROBLEM, which is why I deducted a star. We ordered over the phone and it said "20 minutes". After 20 minutes we were there and the pizzas were already ready in the box and getting cold. Then it turned out that the salad had been forgotten. This was then done for another 6 minutes. When I tried the pizza in the car, it was already cold. At home the cheese was hard. We couldn't heat up 3 pizzas at the same time, so we ate them cold. That was really stupid! The pizzas were large with perfect dough and lots of toppings! Apparently the criticism here is taken to heart. The waiter was really friendly too! PS: There are lots of vegetarian pizzas, yay!

If you order a table for December 25th, 2024, you will receive a confirmation that it has been reserved. And then? Yes they are closed, what poor service then they shouldn't have sent a reservation confirmation?!

Had a business lunch there today. Service and food was very good. The place is quite big and even without a reservation we were able to seat the whole team.

We (49, 14 and 11 years old) have ordered pizza and salad from Trattoria Olive about ten times in the last year. We ate there about four times. The ambience is good and the service is okay overall (in the hustle and bustle you can get overlooked). Unfortunately, on the last two orders where we picked up the food, the pizzas were a bit burnt. The boxes were given to us without comment. And my salad (Insalata Salmon) today was without dressing (usually it has dressing or I'm asked if I want one), the salmon was dry and the melon had a putrid taste. In short: That was our last order from Olive, which we're sorry about. In the past the pizza and salad tasted incredibly good.

I had the penne 4 cheese. It was okay, but nothing outstanding. I couldn't get enough of it. Otherwise, the restaurant is very comfortably furnished and the staff is friendly. We were able to sit at a table with a dog and stroller without any problems.

Great trattoria right at the Allach Sbahn station. Authentic food and ambience run by Italians. It can be very loud inside as it is often busy. Service is friendly and the dishes, including pizza, are very tasty and recommended.

Ich war mit Freunden dort, die das Lokal schön länger kennen. Meine Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht. Vitello Tonato und Pizza waren super, der offene Lugana auch. Von den 3 Kellnern war einer bissl muffelig, aber die anderen beiden super freundlich.

Very tasty food and nice service. The restaurant is always full and therefore a bit noisy, but the price-performance ratio is great and the waiters are very attentive. The food was plentiful, the pizza was nice and fluffy. The dessert selection was also good. Gladly again!

It was very busy so it took a little longer before we received the menus and could order the drinks. But everything was totally within the framework and otherwise very nice service.

10 people simply forgot reservations on school day. After 30 minutes we got a table. Something to drink or a coffee on the house would have been appropriate. Food was delicious.

Although the food and atmosphere are very good, I think they should be more polite to their customers.the waiting times are very long especially during the dinner time and the waiters look very exhausted. In my last experience, I called the restaurant several times they didn’t pick up. At last someone picked up the phone, made me wait almost a minute, then he told me that they have to much to do and hang up on me.

Ordered dinner at Olive today, 3 pizzas and 2 pasta! All three pizzas were burnt and one of them was completely black, dry and hard! The pasta just tasted burnt, the onion and garlic were just black! It's a shame to give something like that to a customer! Thank you! The last time

We've often had good experiences, but the quality has fluctuated a lot recently. There was also tuna on my Capricciosa pizza today, which definitely had no place and ruined the taste of the whole pizza. Very unfortunate.

Very bad service. Even if the waitress is probably not to blame for this, it is a disgrace that all the starters come at different times and when you ask them about it you are only spoken to very lightly. The waitress then brought the pasta to our table and the pizza came 40 minutes later. Food was ok but nothing special.

Olive has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I was particularly impressed by the cozy pub garden.

I was a loyal customer of an Italian restaurant in my neighborhood that was just around the corner for over 14 years. Before the Corona pandemic, this restaurant was a real gem that impressed both in terms of taste and atmosphere. The food was always delicious, the portions were appropriately large and there was never anything to complain about, even when picking up the food. Back then, I went to the restaurant or got something to go at least once a week. Unfortunately, the tide has turned. Since the pandemic, the quality of the food has declined significantly. It is obvious that savings are being made everywhere, which has a negative impact on the taste and freshness of the dishes. The food is now below average and has completely lost its former appeal. Another point that contributes greatly to my disappointment is the increased prices. My favorite dish, penne with salmon, used to cost significantly less when picked up. Today I have to pay about 43% more for it. Such a drastic increase might be manageable if the quality had remained the same, but the opposite is the case. To make matters worse, the portions have also become smaller, so that the multiple increase in prices is even more noticeable. It is very unfortunate to see how a once excellent restaurant has lost so much of its quality. I would like the store to return to its former quality and offer customers what they once valued so much. It would be nice to go there again regularly or to take something away without being disappointed.

Ich war über 14 Jahre lang ein treuer Kunde eines italienischen Lokals in meiner Nachbarschaft, das sich quasi um die Ecke befindet. Vor der Corona-Pandemie war dieses Restaurant ein wahres Juwel, das sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Atmosphäre her überzeugte. Das Essen war stets lecker, die Portionen waren angemessen groß und selbst beim Abholen der Speisen gab es nie etwas zu beanstanden. Damals war ich mindestens einmal die Woche im Lokal oder habe mir etwas zum Mitnehmen geholt. Leider hat sich das Blatt gewendet. Seit der Pandemie hat die Qualität des Essens stark nachgelassen. Es ist offensichtlich, dass überall gespart wird, was sich negativ auf den Geschmack und die Frische der Gerichte auswirkt. Das Essen ist mittlerweile unterdurchschnittlich und hat seinen früheren Reiz komplett verloren. Ein weiterer Punkt, der stark zu meiner Enttäuschung beiträgt, sind die gestiegenen Preise. Früher kostete mein Lieblingsgericht, Penne mit Lachs, beim Abholen deutlich weniger. Heute muss ich dafür etwa 43% mehr zahlen. Eine solch drastische Erhöhung wäre vielleicht zu verkraften, wenn die Qualität gleich geblieben wäre, doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Zu allem Überfluss sind auch die Portionen kleiner geworden, sodass die Mehrfachteuerung noch deutlicher spürbar ist. Es ist sehr bedauerlich zu sehen, wie ein einst hervorragendes Restaurant so stark an Qualität eingebüßt hat. Ich wünsche mir, dass der Laden wieder auf seine frühere Qualität achtet und den Kunden das bietet, was sie einst so sehr geschätzt haben. Es wäre schön, wieder regelmäßig dort einzukehren oder etwas mitzunehmen, ohne dabei enttäuscht zu werden.

A MUST in Allach. Delicious Italian food and perfectly priced! Fresh ingredients, homemade white bread, olive oil at every table. Finely prepared salad plates, fresh rosemary on delicious pizza bread. And mamma mia, what an espresso! The best place to dine is outside under green trees. You can always find space, but service only takes a while at peak times. The lunch menus Mon-Fri are unbeatable. The owners and team are authentic Italians, not fancy but genuine, honest and hard-working.

Unfortunately not enough service staff. Wirt probably sees it that way, the customers come anyway. Food is good and the beer garden is very nice. It's very loud inside.

10/10. We stopped here on our way through Germany for lunch and so glad we picked this spot. The pizza was delicious and crunchy thin crust. Had a sauteed salad with swiss chard and beans which was just amazing. Stop here for great Italian food. Would come back for sure! Staff are also very nice :) Ate the pizza before I even thought to take a photo.

Good Italian restaurant with a very good menu. The dishes taste excellent. There are few parking spaces in front of the restaurant. A large beer garden that is located directly on the street, but is fenced in. The noise level in the restaurant is quite high. Since there is always a lot going on here, you sometimes have to wait a while. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant has a beautifully furnished interior and a very nice beer garden in summer, as well as a somewhat quieter outdoor seating area alongside, which is unfortunately designated as a smoking area. The service took far too long for a Tuesday evening and was very inattentive, at least to us. The food itself was (with the exception of the really good bruschetta) rather mediocre to poor, although in our case I have to say that in my opinion it was more due to the way it was prepared than the products themselves. The pizza was clearly in the oven for too long and the grilled fish plate was so soaked in oil that it was barely edible. In terms of price there is nothing to complain about. Despite the poor quality of the food, the prices were more than reasonable and fair for local standards.

Das hat was, wie schon der Volksmund sagt! Hier passt wirklich alles - die Qualität der Speisen und wie sie dargeboten werden! Das Ambiente drinnen, wie draussen und der um den Gast bemühte Service des Hauses.

Sorry, When are you positive reviewers at the restaurant? I've been trying again and again for 10 years, but I wasn't even satisfied. Today I ordered lasagna with meat ragout and received lasagne with ham and peas. Complaint: "I only have this lasagne". If this is the case, please let the customer know when ordering, or change the card, then you will know.

We arrived after 21h00 when Germany played football, but service from the new guy was perfect, friendly, and attentive. Food was good. Big terrace and clean inside.

Pure disaster. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation. The outside terrace was full and we would be willing to sit inside. The waiters didn't let us in even though we were willing to sit inside. They said goodbye very, very unfriendly. I was very disappointed and always ordered my pizza or dinner there, but that will never be the case! I ate there at least 2-3 times a week. But that won't be the case anymore!!!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful trattoria and all I can say is: an absolute insider tip! The food is exceptionally delicious and authentically Italian. Every dish, from starters to dessert, was a culinary delight. The ingredients are fresh and of the best quality, and the preparation is perfectly balanced. I would especially like to mention the lasagna Bolognese, simply heavenly! The service is also excellent: friendly, attentive and always with a smile. The atmosphere of the trattoria is cozy and inviting, you immediately feel at home. If you are looking for a culinary experience in Allach and the surrounding area that will delight both your palate and your heart, you have come to the right place. A clear recommendation and definitely worth a visit!

We were absolutely disappointed with the service during our visit to the garden today. It took about 20 minutes before we could order drinks and food. We also had to wait a long time for our food and didn't receive our salads at all, even after asking several times. After the meal, we were no longer asked whether everything was OK, let alone whether we had any further requests (dessert, drinks, etc.). We have been to the restaurant several times and have always been absolutely satisfied. Today's visit therefore disappointed us very much.

Sin duda el mejor pan casero! Las pizzas son maravillosas, agradables y crujientes. Buena selección. Muy buen vino. Los platos se pueden servir más calientes. Las porciones para el menú del almuerzo son pequeñas, por lo demás bien.

I rarely write a review, but here I just have to. Ordered spaghetti Bolognese with spinach to take away to the hotel opposite. It was the worst pasta I've had in a very long time. In addition to the three spinach leaves, after a long search in the dish, I found a tablespoon of relatively tasteless minced meat sauce. But worse: the noodles themselves didn't taste like anything because they didn't see a grain of salt. So none at all. So I went back and asked for salt and, because I forgot, parmsan. I was kept waiting for about 10 minutes, priority was given to serving drinks and answering the phone. Who could have guessed that food taken away would also get cold... Even though I said I wasn't eating at home, they found my request strange, but then gave me a packet with salt and parmesan. Unfortunately, back at the hotel I discovered that it was salt for the mill. So it can be used for winter service, but not for adding salt to food. But no matter, it was cold by now.

At the moment it is clearly the Italian with the best price-performance ratio in Allach. Beer garden is beautiful. The pizza is not world-class stone oven, but very good. The salad is super fresh. There is plenty to choose from at lunch, but cannot be modified. The ambience inside is a bit too crowded and loud. Outdoors, however, unbeatable! Unfortunately, prices have risen here too, but the special offers make up for it. For me it's definitely the Italian place around the corner, where you can go at any time.

The beer garden outside is beautiful, and the inside is also very cozy and beautifully decorated. The food tasted very good, the quantity was ok for the price. You may be able to park on the street nearby, if not for a reasonable price in the parking garage directly across the street. The service was very bad, unfortunately. The waiter was very unfriendly when I asked if he had a menu in English or even in Italian for my friend, who didn't speak German (he could also understand Italian, after all it's an Italian restaurant), then he came back To write an order and suggested several times that my friend spoke bad English, even though he actually came from Ireland. He was pretty rude the whole time and sounded a bit arrogant. Afterwards he was surprised that he didn't get a tip and basically insulted us. I used to come here more often but since Corona the quality has deteriorated significantly and it's not getting any better. It's a shame..Having to wait forever for your food isn't my thing either.. Tiramisu wasn't ready...Pannacotta ice cold from the fridge with semi-frozen frozen berries didn't really taste good on today's cool and rainy day :/

Unfortunately, if you don't like your order, you will be perceived as very rude and intrusive and the person just hung up and spoke at the beginning even without a greeting and very inhumane. The phone call only lasted a few seconds. It was today at 5:39 p.m.

Update: Domenico used the lockdown for an extensive renovation. Not all of the staff are still there. But the service hasn't deteriorated. And the pizza just got better! Always worth a visit. Excellent food, especially the pasta is recommended. The boss has a passion for wines from which the guests also benefit. In addition to the well-stocked menu, there are always daily specials, which often offer rare offerings. The beer garden is beautiful and the waitresses are professionals. Since Olive also has a lot of orders to pick up, you should plan some time. If you are new to Allach and want to see the people, this is the right place.

Direkt am Bahnhof Allach gelegenes Restaurant mit italienischer Küche mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Auf der Karte finden sich nebst Pizza und Pasta auch Fleisch- und Fischgerichte. Das Essen ist gut, der Service zügig. Im Sommer mit einem schönen Biergarten. Parken im Parkhaus gegenüber oder Anreise mit ÖPNV problemlos.

Leider hat die Pizza Qualität stark nachgelassen… Ich habe der Olive jetzt 4 weitere Chancen für meine Rezession gegeben um wirklich sicher zu gehen, dass die Pizza Qualität leider SEHR stark abgenommen hat seit der Renovierung in der Corona Zeit. Meiner Meinung nach muss hier dringend was geschehen. Aber wir kommen vorher erst mal nicht mehr. Wir sind seit etlichen Jahren in regelmäßigen Zeitabschnitten in der Olive die Nudelgerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wirklich. Jedoch sobald nur einer am Tisch Lust auf Pizza hat muss man jetzt wo anders hingehen da diese einfach nicht mehr schmecken der Teig ist so dermaßen hart das ist ab der Hälfte der Pizza einfach nur noch mühselig und unangenehm und sehr trocken. Ich weis nicht was sie hier machen ob der Teig nicht mehr lange genug zieht ob ein neuer Ofen schuld hat. Auf jeden Fall sind die Pizza dem restlichen Laden nicht würdig. Besser wäre es wenn sie die aus dem Sortiment nehmen würden damit Man nicht enttäuscht wird. Ja und der neue Kellner was soll ich sagen, höflich ausgedrückt sollte der einen Kurs bekommen wie man mit Kunden umgeht oder wie man mit Stress umgeht. Die neue Kellnerin dagegen ist das komplette Gegenteil und sehr nett und weis was sie tut. Sehr schade, vor einigen Jahren noch habe ich die Olive jedem empfohlen. Jetzt leider nicht mehr.

Die Olive ist einfach immer eine stabile Bank. Das Essen ist top. Schon sehr lange und immer wieder. Entdeckt habe ich neu für mich die Pizza Rotolo (ähnlich der Calzone, nur gerollt :) - habe ich in der Form noch nie gegessen - aber ist sehr sehr lecker! Mittagsmenüs gibt's auch... Wahl zwischen Pizza/Pasta/Fleisch/Fisch. Dazu gibt's vorher Salat. Preis/Leistung super! Der Service ist schnell und freundlich... auch mal einen lustigen Spruch! Das Ambiente der Olive ist wundervoll.. drin im Lokal zwar ein wenig laut, aber da ist eben auch "Leben" - der Garten ist sowieso der Wahnsinn.. so viele Pflanzen und liebe fürs Detail! Wir kommen immer wieder...! ♡☆
