A consistently popular, upscale Italian restaurant that, when it's very busy, sometimes struggles to maintain its generally good service. The (new) wooden extension on the terrace, with the rustic charm of an alpine hut, provides much-needed space but doesn't quite fit the overall concept. A matter of taste.

The pizza I ate there today was truly disappointing for an Italian restaurant. Pale, rubbery dough (pre-made dough?), dry, and tasteless toppings. You shouldn't order that. The service was pleasant. Unfortunately, there were hardly any "classics" among the pasta dishes. A nice beer garden isn't enough if the food is lacking in love.

We've been to Speisemeisterei several times now and deliberately chose it for our school entrance celebration this time – a decision that was absolutely worth it. The team took great care of us in advance: They called us to confirm whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. In the end, we had a beautiful outdoor table in perfect weather, even with tablecloths (for an additional charge, as it's normally only indoors) – very stylish and perfect for the occasion. The service was, as always, attentive, warm, and professional. Our waiter gave us excellent advice, recommended great dishes, matching wines, and aperitifs. Everything tasted excellent and delighted our guests, too. Whether inside in the cozy setting or outside under the open sky – the atmosphere is always special. We always feel completely in good hands here. Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality and an unforgettable experience!

Unfortunately, this is a very average restaurant that probably thrives on its beautiful ambiance (which is why it gets such good reviews). The food, unfortunately, lacks refinement, seasoning, and quality. The pizza is completely unacceptable. The service is also limited to the bare minimum. The only thing that's above average here are the prices.

The staff was very unfriendly. The greeting was friendly, and even though I tipped 10 percent, I didn't even get a thank you or a nice evening wish. Very arrogant. Too bad. The food was okay, but a thank you would have been appropriate. I'm annoyed that I tipped! Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it with that waiter, Giuseppe.

It takes a while to be served. The food gives the impression that they're very much focused on convenience. The prices are relatively high.

The food was great, but the service was a flop. The food was very good, and the portions were decent. The outdoor area is quiet and nicely decorated, although the hemorrhoids aren't happy about the hard, uncushioned chairs! But there's still plenty of room for improvement: After the food was brought (and it came very quickly!), we were unfortunately ignored, and it was difficult to get more drinks. The outdoor area was busy, but far from full. At 9:45 PM, we were informed that they would be closing soon. The website says Mon-Sun 11:30 AM - 12:00 AM... It wasn't our fault that we couldn't order anything... The wooden shack next door and the pallets don't look inviting and should be removed urgently before vermin take over. I've never seen so many dogs in a restaurant, which wasn't a problem for me since we were sitting outside. But for people who are afraid of dogs, it might be...

I can only advise against this restaurant. Why it has such good reviews is a mystery to me. Probably the location and the truly beautiful beer garden. Unfortunately, that doesn't make the service and food any better: While I can't speak for other servers, our server was unparalleled in terms of arrogance, rudeness, and lack of enthusiasm. We were served after about 20 minutes, then only one drink for two people was brought, at least 40 minutes passed before the appetizer arrived, and then another 20 minutes for the main course. After asking twice, the bill had to be paid at the cash register. Unfortunately, not only was the service a disaster, but the food was also simply below average and very poorly seasoned. You'd expect different prices here, but they were extremely high. Pasta with a little truffle for 25 euros? Since this wasn't my first truly disappointing visit, and since they don't even serve good pizza here (probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten in an Italian restaurant. The dough is actually reminiscent of Dr. Oetker's frozen pizza), I will be avoiding this restaurant at all costs in the future.

We recently dined at your restaurant with friends. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service provided by the waiter who served us that evening was not up to our usual standards: He seemed unfriendly and unaccommodating. Plates were sometimes literally placed on our table, and our questions were met with rude replies. Since we have dined at your restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied, we assume this is an exception. We will definitely give your restaurant another chance.

I really wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Maybe it was just a bad day and we were the only exception – but we waited over an hour for a meat dish and a pizza. When we politely asked, we received a rather rude response, as if we were simply too impatient. That's not how you want to feel as a guest. Of course, it can take a while, but the way you treat your guests matters a lot – and unfortunately, that was very disappointing here. The food was okay, but absolutely not worth the price. If you're only coming for the ambiance – the garden is really beautiful – you might want to overlook that. But Munich has many other Italian restaurants where you'll receive a friendly welcome, sit comfortably, and get good food at a fair price.

The ambiance is pleasant both inside and out, but unfortunately, the service was irritable and arrogant. We had to ask for a menu and repeatedly wave to get our attention. We were looking in vain for a smile. The food was fine – pizza and pasta were okay, and dessert was good. However, the dishes don't even come close to justifying the high prices. Therefore, our visit was rather disappointing overall. Parking on the street wasn't a problem.

Wir sind aus Stuttgart, haben aber seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig in Pasing zu tun und freuen uns jedes Mal auf einen Besuch in der Speisemeisterei. Wir mögen die Küche dort sehr, ich gebe aber zu, dass ich dort häufig die gleichen Gerichte esse (warmer Blattspinat mit Parmesan; Fischsuppe; gegrillte Calamari). Aber da wurde ich noch nie enttäuscht. Man sitzt draußen wirklich wunderschön, und ich hatte auch noch nie Probleme mit dem Service. Am vergangenen Sonntag war er z.B. absolut nicht zu toppen! Natürlich sind auch dort die Preise zuletzt gestiegen, aber nach meinem Eindruck nicht so extrem, wie man das teilweise an anderen Orten findet.

We celebrated a birthday there last night. 6 people. First, the antipasti platter... I've been to Italy a lot and especially love the antipasti there, but what was served here was, in my opinion, a loveless impertinence. A slice of smoked salmon with a spoonful of cheap Arctic prawns (what do they have to do with an Italian platter anyway), a piece of artichoke from a jar, a slice of tomato with mozzarella, a small piece of melon with ham, and a few slices of vegetables, all for a "cheap" €18. Then the main course comes during the appetizer, unacceptable for a restaurant like this!!! The main courses were varied: Pasta and chicken were okay, The saltimbocca, a large piece of schnitzel with ham and sage, was okay, but the sauce brings tears to your eyes with its lack of taste, no white wine, and a noticeable spice. How do you get such reviews here?? I don't understand. Horst M.

So eine unverschämte Bedienung habe ich noch nie irgendwo erlebt. Der Mann mit der Brille hat meinen Freund so beleidigt, weil er nur 3 EUR Trinkgeld gegeben hat. Er hatte aber das teuerste Menü und den teuersten Wein, aber das Essen war gut. Andere würden bei der Qualitöt keinen Cent Trinkgeld geben. Bin schon am Überlegen, ob ich ihn wegen Beleidigung anzeigen soll. Nie wieder betrete ich diesen Laden.

Addendum 9.6.25: The Speisemeisterei offers a delivery service. A while ago, we ordered two salami pizzas and a bottle of red wine for dinner. The pizzas were worse than expected (to say the least, we only ate one and threw the other in the trash). We only drank half of the wine (€30). It was sour the next day. Disappointing! Haven't been there in a while. Still an excellent Italian restaurant!

My Gorgonzola pizza was excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Service was stressed, pizza, see for yourself. For that price, you can do it better yourself and skip the Italian restaurant. But it was tasty, so it gets a star.

Overall, OK. The new waiter is a little overwhelmed. Strange: The sea bass for two people advertised on the blackboard costs more than if you order two individual sea bass.

Die Goldbrasse war schlecht filetiert, daher jede Menge Gräten die überall verteilt waren. Auch geschmacklich habe ich dort schon bessere Brassen gegessen. Der dazugehörige Salat sehr übersichtlich und mit dem gleichen Balsamico-Fertig-Dressing ersäuft, das sich leider auch auf den Tomaten- Mozzarella fand. Wenn zu allem das gleiche Dressing verwendet wird, fühlt sich das eher nach schnell und billig an! Die Pizza war sehr gut und der Service hat auch gepaßt.

I went there recently with my high school and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the servers are smiling and funny. I spoke English to them because I don't speak German and I must say that we had a good laugh. The dishes are a marvel for the eyes and the stomach. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant.

Best pizza in all of Munich, the other options are okay too but the pizza is simply amazing, always a pleasure and now our regular restaurant for pizzas.

My favorite Italian! Very cozy, rustic atmosphere, not too big and not too small. Fine dining, there are also great fish and meat dishes. But the classics like pasta and pizza are also great. The prices are also completely reasonable. Just please reserve early enough.

Embarrassing, embarrassing. Another restaurant that wants to delete truthful reviews from Google. No problem, here it is again especially for you: We waited 12 minutes for our drinks while the waiters stood in a group and chatted :) we were informed straight away at the entrance that we only had until 6 p.m. When the clock struck 6 p.m. the restaurant was even emptier when we arrived. The waiter was relatively taciturn and not necessarily personable. The pizzas were quite good, the spagetti aglio e olio were extremely dry and hardly edible. The yellow awnings were extremely dirty and not a nice sight when eating. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience, which is why we won't be coming back.

After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes after ordering, we asked if there were any problems with the food as the restaurant was relatively empty. We were told that we also had to wait to see the doctor and that we should be patient. Extremely unfriendly waiters who either ignored you or treated you unfriendly right from the start.

Actually a nice restaurant with a nice garden, but also certain restrictions. Some food was good, some was mediocre. It's a bit too expensive today for what's on offer. Service was good, but a bit abrupt at the beginning. Overall I would try it again, maybe it was just a snapshot and it does have potential?

Good place. Food was very very tasting and the atmosphere of the place is good. A bit pricey. Service was kind of bad, not rude but also very antipathic.

Wine spritzer was good. Bread was good Antipasti Misti were strange (North Sea crabs and smoked salmon, only half a mozzarella ball) .

Very nice garden with lots of shade. Things are looking rather bad with parking spaces. The menu is not too big. The food tasted good, we had a pizza and homemade ravioli from the weekly menu. The prices are similar to comparable restaurants, but in our opinion they are justified for what you get. We'll definitely be back.

It's very nice to sit in, very nice service. We had the Italian starter platter and ravioli with salmon from the daily menu. Both very tasty.

Nice atmosphere, overall good food, although one or two dishes are a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, we thought that we would like to visit the Tafel again in a larger group, e.g. when our child starts school, and wanted to test it out. Unfortunately, after our visit, we came to the conclusion that we would be celebrating our graduation in another restaurant because we didn't want to subject ourselves or our guests to the unfriendly service again. The waiter made very different efforts towards the guests, but was initially friendly. However, it is more than outrageous to calculate the percentage of tips guests give and complain about the amount. We're told he ends up living off the tips! At the end of the visit, we are left with a bad aftertaste of the restaurant visit, which is really a shame, because without such a rude comment we would certainly have come back, but this visit was more than spoiled for us. Even if a waiter's tip isn't enough, you have to swallow it if the service is good. It's a shame, but as some other reviews confirm, unfortunately it's not an isolated case!!!

You can't complain here. Food is super delicious! Local with charm, a large garden with lots of tables. The highlight is the new playground with plenty of space for children. And the service was absolutely great, many thanks to Drifu! Highly recommended! The only disadvantage is the parking spaces. There is little space on the street to park and it is usually full. You have to park a little further away, but I think it's still worth it.

Nice beer garden operated by an Italien restaurant. Beer from the tap is nice (hacker). Service was stressed and quite slow. Food was OK, but we only chose moderately priced items. (Salad & Pizza) Upscale items looked good, but were quite expensive on the menue. Might be nice, but not for a quick bite beergarden style.

An Italian restaurant that should be aloof, but isn't. Really very good, upscale food with fish and meat, which you don't find every day. Italian service with a good mood. You also don't feel out of place in a normal elevator. Wide audience from families with children to seniors. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from sitting outside. We were there at short notice on a Sunday and were lucky to get a spot. So reservations are definitely recommended.
