We arrived without a reservation at 1pm with 8 people. The place was relatively empty, so it wasn't a problem. The staff still seemed annoyed because they now had to put 3 tables together. After about 5 minutes we got the card and after another 15 we were allowed to order. The drinks took about 10 minutes. Here a drink arrived differently than ordered. The pizza came quite quickly. It actually tasted good, but everything was very blandly seasoned. When we wanted to pay, we told the waitress. The tables around us all paid one by one and we were ignored. After 45 minutes the waitress came in a very annoyed tone so we could pay. We paid in cash, the waitress didn't have any change, she went in and gave us the change without comment. She didn't give us enough in return and when she commented that she hadn't given us enough in return, she replied annoyed, "I've already given you more than you're entitled to." Restaurant not recommended! Employees very unfriendly!

I haven't eaten in such a good Italian restaurant in Germany for a long time. It's a shame it's so far away - we would definitely come more often. Very friendly service, even though it was busy.

The pizza was very tasty! Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. The table that was assigned to us was missing a chair that we were allowed to get ourselves. The table top was loose, which was a bit annoying. We only got a menu after 15 minutes and when we wanted to order drinks straight away we were put off. We had our first drinks after 45 minutes. The waitresses seemed a little overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't full. The pizza was delivered relatively quickly.

Bad service! The pizza was okay, but a little more spice and flavor would have been nice. The atmosphere (terrace) wasn't really comfortable. A used ashtray on our table and everything was very careless or not really clean. But the worst was the service. Nobody really wanted it. We had to wait over 30 minutes before we could pay, even after asking several times. When the change was given out incorrectly, which can happen, the reaction was rude. We didn't even get a goodbye.

The service was a complete disaster! At the beginning we sat at the table for 45 minutes without service. When we asked, we were rudely told that we should be patient for another 20 minutes, and after 1:30 hours we got up without eating or drinking!! In addition, the restaurant was empty!!!! Best pizza in Bochum and far beyond. The rest of the food is also very good and there is Fiege Pils. However, the prices are now borderline expensive and the only mineral water available is processed tap water, which unfortunately doesn't really taste good. Still very good, but the prices are now extremely expensive. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio no longer fits completely.

Certainly one of the most exciting restaurants in Bochum. Very comfortably furnished, easy to reach and the food is a dream. No matter whether pizza, specialties such as game or traditional Italian dishes. Always my pleasure!

The food and the ambience were good. The service was a disaster. First we waited 10 minutes until we got 2 menus for 4 people. Then we waited 10 minutes until someone asked what we would like to drink. After the drink arrived, we had to wait another 10 minutes until our food order was taken. The food came quickly and was warm and good. We couldn't order another drink because there was simply no service. To pay we had to go to the service station and speak to them three times before they even responded. After another 10 minutes he came and we were able to pay. So the service urgently needs to be improved.

Outstanding! We are spontaneously in front of the Grönemeyer -Concert 'stumbled in' and got the second to last table - without a reservation... so lucky! As a starter there was an Angus carpaccio and tuna tartare. The tuna was really a taste explosion! *Alex*'s wine recommendation was also fantastic, and in general the wine list is very selected. All employees are friendly and approachable!

Totally overwhelmed waiter who asks everyone after 5 minutes for their order. The salad (starter) came after a good hour and the pizza after 2 hours, unfortunately it wasn't anything special either, it looked like the baker had just slapped everything on it. The head waiter constantly yells at the waiters in front of the guests. It won't work like that, people. 👎

I would like to express my excitement about visiting your restaurant. The attention of the owner and the staff was exemplary and left nothing to be desired. The ingredients were of the highest quality, which was reflected in the excellent flavor combinations. We were at Trattoria Momo last night and absolutely loved it. We received a very friendly welcome and were served attentively and friendly throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We would like to thank the entire team at Trattoria Momo for the successful evening.

Excellent quality pizza dough. Excellent filling and also the best ingredients but very, very economical. Creme brulee and tiramisu sensational. What didn't we understand why we were the only ones who didn't get bread with dip like everyone else around us? The gentleman in service was so grumpy that we didn't dare ask questions. The fact that he made us wait a whopping 20 minutes until we were allowed to pay after saying "I'll be right back" was a shame but it couldn't ruin the evening for us.

Whether appetizer platter, fish, pizza or pasta. Everything was crafted to a very high standard, which absolutely justifies the prices. Angelo's service was almost perfect. He presented himself as a great host and responded to our wishes. Absolute recommendation. Been there twice so far and definitely not the last time.

Unfortunately, the linguine with truffles was an absolute disappointment. The noodles were floating in the oil and the dish didn't taste good. My partner had the Angus beef steak, which unfortunately disappointed us in terms of taste and quality. For the prices, we expected more. The waiters and waitresses were unstructured, looked awkward and listless. Overall, the price-performance ratio was not right.

Well. What can I say. The dishes we ordered came very late or too late, and the quality of the pizzas was questionable. Already quite cold and dry, with holes in the floor 😬, to name just a few of the drawbacks. We were probably there twice... for the first and last time. ☹️

Unfortunately, I cannot share an extremely positive experience after my visit to this restaurant. Although the restaurant offers upscale dishes at a hefty price, this unfortunately does not reflect the service offered. The wait times for drinks were unbearably long and unfortunately there were several occasions when drinks were forgotten, resulting in a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the portion size of my dish was very disappointing. I ordered the turbot for €40, which was very well prepared, but only 3 potato slices, 2 broccoli and a few carrots were served as a side dish. Unfortunately, the waiters realized that this was not enough as a stand-alone dish when I ate the remaining slices of pizza from my companions. The boss then apologized to me and told me that I didn't have to eat them and that they would prepare a surprise for me. After half an hour of waiting I got a small free dessert. In retrospect, I'm unfortunately annoyed that I didn't eat the remaining slices of pizza because I didn't want dessert and just wasn't full. We were offered another espresso, but unfortunately we couldn't take it because we still hadn't received it after 15 minutes, so we left the restaurant. This was our first visit to Bochum, and unfortunately it wasn't a successful evening. Hopefully the restaurant will improve its service or communicate the long waiting times with the drinks and food to the guests.

Everything was right. The reception was personal, very friendly, accommodating and absolutely polite! The service at the table was also very polite & especially warm! The food was really delicious & fresh and was very well seasoned. My girlfriend and I had the truffle pasta with steak strips, it was really fanatically good. For dessert a panna cotta which was also a dream. Very highly recommended!

Dolce Vita with a Sicilian touch in the middle of the Ruhr area. Somehow they always try to find a place. However, reservation is better. Great appertivos. Cold and warm starters. Pasta dishes, meat dishes, pizza and a great wine list. Friendly, lively and attentive staff. The journey from Dortmund is always worth it.

A fantastic culinary experience! The Italian restaurant impresses across the board. The atmosphere is inviting and authentic, the service friendly and attentive. But the highlight is undoubtedly the dishes. Every bite is a journey through the flavors of Italy. From the crispy pizza to the delicious pasta, each dish is a work of art made from fresh ingredients and refined spices. A must for all lovers of Italian cuisine! Five stars are definitely deserved. I would like to give 10 stars. For me the best Italian restaurant in North Rhine-Westphalia, no matter what you choose, everything is of excellent quality.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The tables are a bit close together and it is quite loud, but I personally don't think that's a problem

Waited 25 minutes for drinks and 1 hour and 20 minutes for food, even though the restaurant wasn't at capacity! Waitress rude and bitchy! Non-alcoholic Radler was warm and only tasted like stale beer, and it is also legally stipulated to pour an alcohol-free Radler from the bottle right in front of me... I had it returned the second time because the second a.Radler was also warm from piss and tasted stale. Then I had to pay the cyclist, that was the cheekiest thing of all. Have !!never!! to give something back in my life and the restaurant was still upset about it and showed zero understanding. Just try it yourself and you'll know what I mean. Pizza was OK.

Unfortunately, pizza was a bit below average for the price quoted and took over 40 minutes. The dough was good, but that doesn't help if the topping is only Aldi products (at least that's how it tasted).

We were there spontaneously today without a reservation (Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.). After we were told that all the seats had already been reserved, we were “allowed” to wait in the entrance until the next table would supposedly become available immediately. The table was settled but the ladies still drank coffee. After waiting 10 minutes and looking hopefully at other guests leaving, we asked again. We were then led in a zigzag through the store into another room - and lo and behold, all the tables there were still empty. We found that very irritating. To be honest, we were very surprised at the overly expensive prices on the menu! That was very steep... The price-performance ratio for the pizzas was ok. The pizzas tasted good! Great dough. Unfortunately only warm. Waiting time for 2 pizzas was about 30 minutes. Wouldn't come back, but still delicious pizza dough!

We had reserved a table at a company event. It was a harmonious evening with very good food, rounded off with an excellent selection of starters. Great wines and very friendly and professional service, short waiting times are acceptable when the restaurant is full. Thanks to Alex and teammates. We will unreservedly recommend the restaurant to friends of good food and would be happy to come back from Düsseldorf.

The food and ambience couldn't be rated because it didn't even get that far. A table was reserved by phone. 30 minutes beforehand we asked whether the reservation was still standing. It was announced that there was no reservation and that there was no table left because a closed group had reserved the entire restaurant. We were told we didn't have a reservation for the evening! What's strange is that someone tried to call me the day before. Unfortunately I couldn't answer the call, but the call log doesn't lie. Funny, my phone number is known, but I haven't reserved a table. WHAT A FUCK! For the first impression there is no second chance.

When entering the restaurant, the atmosphere felt like a city office. Even though there was no line, we had to wait 5 minutes for the employee responsible to seat us. When we arrived at the table, we were directed to the next member of staff who would take care of us. All in all, a clear distribution of tasks, but with a lot of waiting time in between. We then had to wait another 10 minutes at the table for the menus. Our order was then taken quite sloppily (by a third employee), although the water was probably not noted. So initially there was only one drink for two people when the food came. Upon request, delivery was then made, but without an apology or anything like that. As was already evident with the orders from the other tables, the food took several rounds through the restaurant with different service staff, so that our food was already cold when it arrived. For dessert we were given a teramisu instead of a semifreddo. The quality of the food is good, but the service spoils it because it arrives cold. However, the quality does not justify the prices as the portion sizes leave a lot to be desired. The customer service doesn't justify the prices either. It seems more important to polish the cutlery with two people than to serve while the drinks are ready for several tables and the beers are losing all their foamy tops. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant nor will we visit it again. What a shame!

The food was very good, unfortunately only warm. That's why only the three stars. Staff very nice and competent. Various starters, homemade pasta, pizza, salads and a small selection of desserts.

We were there yesterday with the family (7 people). It was a wonderful stay that we and our children really enjoyed. The service was top notch, the cuisine was extremely good and is definitely comparable to very good trattorias in Italy. Even the starter bread had a nice story, as it was homemade from sourdough. This is how the good food begins and continues throughout the evening.

We wanted to eat something quick before Starlight Express. The trattoria was full and they still did everything they could to get us a table for 9! to shovel people free. The pizzas were delicious, the service was great and everything went super quickly, so we were at the musical on time. First class waiter!

You have to plan a little more time for your visit and definitely make a reservation. After eating, many guests visit the nearby football stadium or the musical Starlight Express. But the food is definitely worth it. As a starter there was Carpachio and then the Parma and Gourmet pizzas. Everything tasted very good. The service staff were friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, a trattoria that promises more than it delivers🤷🏻‍♀️....the pizza was average, the highly advertised Merlot for €9 per glass came as a 0.1 variant and was also very average. All in all, far too expensive for what is offered.

I was “influenced” by Instagram and booked a table for two at the weekend. At first glance, it's a fairly modern restaurant with casual house beats in the background. The food was very good (rarely had such a good pizza) and the wine selection was very large. Unfortunately it was very busy and you sit very close to each other table to table. So he often has the "most valuable" of the waitress in his face :-)). If you want to spend a cozy evening with deep conversations in a restaurant with your sweetheart, this is definitely not the right place. If you want to eat and drink well with friends and it gets a little louder anyway, definitely the right choice.

First of all, the food was good (even if the noodles were a bit overcooked). But if you offer pizza for around 16 euros and pasta for 26 euros, the service should be accordingly! We ate there today and the service was terrible. Despite a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for our table, the meal took another 45 minutes and one dish was also the wrong one. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for the right one. I had to ask twice for a 2 drink. Everything was picked up and served without thanks or requests and put down without a word. When we asked for the bill, it came from a neighboring table and the waitress then became rude. All in all, subpar service and our last visit there.

Was in this restaurant for the first time as it was recommended to me by friends. The ambience and location are really nice, but the service was really bad. I waited ages for the drink and my friends had all already received theirs. A full 40 minutes after ordering, I received the drink upon request. When I asked, the waiter didn't respond with "Oh, sorry" or "I'm sorry, I'll bring it to you immediately", but rather with "What did you have?". No apology, nothing. My drink came then too only after 5 minutes instead of immediately, instead the other tables were served directly. In general, the waiter was not particularly motivated or friendly, and rather reacted in an annoyed manner. This shouldn't happen when they say the customer is king. After all, you pay for the service, so the prices should be flawless. The food was delicious, you can't say anything negative about it. Unfortunately, the price of the food is not justified. Tasty, yes, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. Overall, it's okay if you want delicious food, but the service and prices really don't work at all.

Drinks were received after an hour, it then took another three quarters of an hour for food, and no further requests for drinks were asked in between. A meal was completely forgotten - an excuse? We were able to host our company anniversary at Trattoria Momo and were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. The ambience is great and therefore 5 stars.

There were four of us in the store and we were really looking forward to the restaurant because it is mainly known from social media. After we had to wait 30 minutes for the waiter because he put us off with “I'll be with you” four times in a row, we had to wait another 15 minutes before we could order our food. So we ordered our food 45 minutes after we sat down. The pizza is really good, but the pasta (truffles) were completely soaked in fat and not tasty. What was crazy was that the portion sizes were completely different - not just a little, but really significant. Afterwards I was only offered 20g of pasta in a small pot as compensation. We were particularly shocked by the price level, as the truffle pasta with 4 slices of beef costs €32. The ambience is okay and the restaurant is well located. So once and never again.

Stylish restaurant with show kitchen on the ground floor - according to our impressions, only pizza and delivery service. Small main kitchen on the 1st floor, separation between cold and hot kitchens is not visible to us. Vitello Tonnato good.Tuna salmon tartare with defects: tuna had fibers, not sushi quality as we expect with tartare. Pizza de la Casa good. Linguine Vongole & Friarelli cream poor: more oil than pasta. Overall, the prices for the dishes we selected are excessive. Service could be more attentive. In terms of content, the employees tell you a lot, including about the taste of wines; if you have specific requests about types of wine, you have to ask. We ordered a Verdicchio and got a Pinot Grigio. Overall, in our experience, a rather mediocre restaurant. There are certainly alternatives in this area with better value for money.

Well-visited restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the starlight express, planetarium, mining museum. Be sure to reserve a table. The service was nice, but overwhelmed. It took forever to make the reservation alone, and drinks were only brought after an hour. Pizza was only lukewarm. Tuna, on the other hand, is excellent. But for 75€ for 2 people it's not a bargain. The homemade bread is super delicious. But you have to have a lot of patience and noise protection.

The Trattoria Momo in Bochum impressed us with their great hospitality. Despite a full reservation, Angelo spontaneously organized space for our group. The food was outstanding and varied, we enjoyed different dishes, everything was delicious. The quality of service was excellent, especially Angelo's wine recommendation was exactly our taste. Here you can feel the love and passion in the kitchen and in the service. When we come back to Bochum, a visit to Trattoria Momo is definitely planned.
