We also can't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. The fact that there are almost no free parking spaces nearby in the evenings cannot be attributed to the restaurant, but it is still good to know. The salads were appetizingly prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. The tortellini stuffed with duck breast for €24.50 might have been considered a starter, but nobody gets full from 8 tortellini. In addition, they were too cold and the dough was too raw and hard (on our advice there was a drink on the house, which was fair). For 6 people, 6 small pieces of bread and a garlic dip, which was just enough for 2 small pieces of bread, were served as a "greeting from the kitchen". But when asked, there was a second helping. The pizzas were sparsely topped and also too cold. We liked the atmosphere overall, the service was friendly and accommodating, if a bit "clumsy". A look into the kitchen is not recommended because it looked unclean. We also noticed video cameras that, according to the manager, only come into operation when the restaurant is closed. We expressed concerns because the cameras are mounted at an angle that they could, for example, record credit cards during the payment process. Overall, we wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately the waiters are very hectic, we all (6 people) ordered a pizza and it was only lukewarm! Although two people had eaten, the others' plates were already taken away. That doesn't work! Won't eat there again...it's a shame.

We now come here once a month and are thrilled every time! We try different starters, main courses and desserts every time - and everything is simply delicious and of absolute top quality. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes prepared with a lot of love and the taste is simply outstanding. I would particularly like to highlight the service staff: all the waiters are incredibly warm, attentive and just lovely. You feel welcome and well looked after from the first moment. A restaurant that we can really recommend without reservation - everything is just right here! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

After visiting StarlightExpress we went to Trattoria Momo. We were greeted very friendly. The atmosphere is very nice. Our waiter Sebastian was extremely friendly, very accommodating and attentive. As do the other employees. The pizza we had was very tasty. A visit there is definitely worth it. This will be our first choice the next time we visit Bochum.

Full 5 stars and would like one more as a bonus. From the service to the great atmosphere to the incredibly good food on a regularly changing menu with modern cuisine, everything is perfect here. No pasta drowned in cream or anything like that, if you want that, you're unfortunately in the wrong place. We had a lovely evening that we were able to enjoy with all our senses. Discovered by chance a few years ago in the old location opposite, we are now absolute fans and always enjoy coming. Reservations are essential, you should take time to enjoy and get involved in the atmosphere (and try the tiramisu at the end!) See you next time

We were there with several people. The sourdough bread was absolutely delicious, so we pre-ordered it from the local bakery the next day. My pizza was great too. Just the right size and the edge wasn't dry either. The price of the other dishes was a bit high, but it wasn't run of the mill either. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. He showed alternatives to food and fulfilled our every special request. We were in the back and it was cozy. In any case, a reservation is necessary, especially if you want to eat there before the Starlight Express.

Everything just fit. The atmosphere was inviting and harmonious. From the furnishings to the dishes. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted very friendly and with a wonderful smell of freshly baked bread. The food tasted very good. We had pasta (which is also made fresh in the restaurant), pizza and Iberico, as well as various desserts. And I haven't experienced such courteous and attentive service in a long time. We are thrilled and will definitely come back if we are in Bochum again.

Super nice service, unfortunately many desserts were no longer available during our visit, which was a bit of a shame (Dubai chocolate & vegan crème brûlée). We got a coffee on the house for it. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait in a line, not so nice for a Saturday evening. The tables are quite close together, so the atmosphere was also very restless. Given the high prices, we decided on pizza. The pizza is freshly prepared in a very impressive charcoal oven and looks wonderful. The service was at the table very often, so it gave the impression that we weren't eating quickly enough. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best pizza I've eaten. To sum up, we would soon get our pizza from our favorite Italian restaurant around the corner, the price and performance are not justified. We can't comment on the other dishes; at least the plates all looked rich and very nicely presented.

We reserved a table on Friday evening and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Service top! Super nice, attentive, fast. Not just our main waiter, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Food was great, we ordered the Parma pizza and one with burrata which were outstanding, but the salad with chicken was so well prepared that I would choose this next time. The fact that you can take a look into the kitchen on the way to the very clean toilets confirms our good impression. We'll come back when we're in Bochum again!

We found table without reservation but I recommend make reservation in advance. Everything was delicious ( we tried tuna pizza and paccheri alla Puttanesca), service was perfect. Just I found prices are little bit high but I do not know average prices in that area therefore giving 5 stars.

We got a table in the heated beer garden. Heat mushrooms were spread out on the terrace and there were blankets on the chairs. It was ok, but not pleasantly warm. Service was quick and friendly. We had 2 pizzas, which tasted very good, but were very sparingly topped. A little more topping would have been appropriate for us.

A very nice restaurant with a partly local and partly modern atmosphere. There is no shortage of Italian delicacies. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic range of popular drinks. In terms of price, the restaurant can be rated as somewhat upscale, but this is also reflected in the very good quality of the food. The service is quick and friendly. Food was very good and tasty. We had deer and rabbits. The service was also good. I deducted the star because I didn't like the atmosphere on the terrace in winter. It's just not nice, you feel a little disconnected.

I'm in Bochum on business and my hotel recommended Momo to me, and rightly so. Service is very accommodating. What surprised me most was the menu, a diverse selection of Italian dishes with a certain bonus touch. I couldn't decide which is why I'll be visiting the restaurant more often in the next few days.

The food and service were great. Our dog was also welcome and was immediately given a bowl with our drinks. This met our expectations. The ambience is also great, at least inside. We saw this when we went to the winter garden. Unfortunately our place was not indoors but in the winter garden. It doesn't do your place justice. It is loveless and regulating the temperature with patio heaters was uncomfortable. For example, the beer garden tables could have at least been covered with a tablecloth. It reminded me of a flight where you first had to go through first class at the front entrance and then be allowed to sit in wooden class.

My husband and I reserved a table for 2 people for 5:15 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025. We were warmly welcomed and accompanied to our table by a member of staff. Francesco was responsible for our well-being there. Which he did really well. We started with a delicious Limocello Spritz. We received homemade bread with a spicy aioli. First of all everything is good. For starters we ordered vitello tonnato and fried scallops on beluga lentil salad. Both starters were also very tasty. And Francesco was attentive at all times. For the main course, my husband chose a Margherita pizza. There was nothing wrong here either. The dough was exactly as he imagined it. Crispy, thin and the topping is just right. I chose Momo's fish plate. But unfortunately I had to return the food because the noodles with the dish were lukewarm. Unfortunately the prawns were overcooked, the salmon wasn't fried well, the pulp was very clear. Overall not worthy of the price. A new plate was brought to me without any fuss or discussion. In between there was a glass of white wine from the house. But unfortunately the processing of the fish was not what I wanted. After further inquiry from the staff, I was offered to bring another dish. I was treated very courteously at all times. The dish was then removed from the bill. At the end we were very pleased with the final bill. Everyone makes mistakes, but there are differences in how to deal with them. I would give 10 stars for that. It was a lovely evening for us. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team.

The only drawback: the table for the two of us was positioned between other tables and therefore quite narrow and loud. We would go there again at any time.

A nice restaurant, service was good, unfortunately only Pepsi Cola, no other better brand. You have to order bread and aioli separately, so they weren't included for free beforehand. Enjoyed Okai. The pizza didn't quite suit my taste. Tasted dry and was thinly topped. Since we often eat pizzas, including Neapolitan ones and ones we make ourselves, this unfortunately didn't meet our expectations. I can't say exactly what the problem was, except that it tasted and looked dry. The rating only reflects my personal impression. The restaurant was very busy, which shows that it is popular with many people. Unfortunately we didn't try pasta, although there are very interesting dishes.

Although it is a modern (and relatively large) restaurant, it has a very cozy atmosphere and very attentive service. And the food is excellent, from pizza to homemade pasta to meat and fish dishes.

The food is good, but it would have to be significantly better to justify the high prices. I pay 25 EUR for pasta at my favorite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt at the Alte Oper, but the taste is even better. On the other hand: If you are in the area anyway (e.g. for the musical or football) you can definitely go here. The quality of the food is good, the service is good and so is the ambience. And to me it's worth the extra euros to eat well when visiting a stadium or a musical without having to make another pilgrimage by car/train.

Traveled from Upper Austria to see Starligth Express and booked a hotel, but their kitchen was closed due to a lack of staff. So we quickly looked for an alternative - found Momo's. Without a reservation, the waitress organized a table for 6 people - even though everything was reserved - and we were able to enjoy a really good meal in an hour and a half in a great atmosphere and really nice staff! Thumbs up again!

Italian restaurant near Starlight Express. The restaurant was very busy so I would suggest a reservation. However, the service couldn't cope with the number of people. After 30 minutes we had our first drink and after an hour our food. Our waitress was very friendly, but obviously had too many tables to serve. The food was good.

A drink that was ordered was forgotten and then had to be reordered at the counter because no service staff came to the table for a long time. Same thing with espresso after dinner and when paying. The salad was great, the spaghetti carbonara was good (maybe a little bit), the pizza was unfortunately only lukewarm, but tasted good.

I loved this restaurant, I was looking for something delicious to eat near the hotel and I found this very nice place, they served me very well despite not having any reservation, they placed me at a nice table and the service was great, the food was very delicious and the exquisite wine. The atmosphere is very rich because the people who serve you also talk to you, ask how you are and tell things about your life, they make you feel very comfortable, like important people. Everything was delicious, I stayed quite a while and as usual, I left a tip to the waitress who smiled very happily, and that's it, I come from below and I don't forget my roots. I am from Colombia, but I live in Germany.

We were super satisfied. Went there for dinner and had a very high quality Italian meal with friendly and attentive service. The ambience is also very appealing. After we mentioned in conversation with the service that it was our first time there, we were kindly given a short tour of the locations. I ate the truffle pasta, which was one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. We'll definitely be back.
