Everything just fit. The atmosphere was inviting and harmonious. From the furnishings to the dishes. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted very friendly and with a wonderful smell of freshly baked bread. The food tasted very good. We had pasta (which is also made fresh in the restaurant), pizza and Iberico, as well as various desserts. And I haven't experienced such courteous and attentive service in a long time. We are thrilled and will definitely come back if we are in Bochum again.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait in a line, not so nice for a Saturday evening. The tables are quite close together, so the atmosphere was also very restless. Given the high prices, we decided on pizza. The pizza is freshly prepared in a very impressive charcoal oven and looks wonderful. The service was at the table very often, so it gave the impression that we weren't eating quickly enough. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best pizza I've eaten. To sum up, we would soon get our pizza from our favorite Italian restaurant around the corner, the price and performance are not justified. We can't comment on the other dishes; at least the plates all looked rich and very nicely presented.

We reserved a table on Friday evening and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Service top! Super nice, attentive, fast. Not just our main waiter, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Food was great, we ordered the Parma pizza and one with burrata which were outstanding, but the salad with chicken was so well prepared that I would choose this next time. The fact that you can take a look into the kitchen on the way to the very clean toilets confirms our good impression. We'll come back when we're in Bochum again!

We found table without reservation but I recommend make reservation in advance. Everything was delicious ( we tried tuna pizza and paccheri alla Puttanesca), service was perfect. Just I found prices are little bit high but I do not know average prices in that area therefore giving 5 stars.

We got a table in the heated beer garden. Heat mushrooms were spread out on the terrace and there were blankets on the chairs. It was ok, but not pleasantly warm. Service was quick and friendly. We had 2 pizzas, which tasted very good, but were very sparingly topped. A little more topping would have been appropriate for us.

I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic range of popular drinks. In terms of price, the restaurant can be rated as somewhat upscale, but this is also reflected in the very good quality of the food. The service is quick and friendly. I'm in Bochum on business and my hotel recommended Momo to me, and rightly so. Service is very accommodating. What surprised me most was the menu, a diverse selection of Italian dishes with a certain bonus touch. I couldn't decide which is why I'll be visiting the restaurant more often in the next few days.

The food and service were great. Our dog was also welcome and was immediately given a bowl with our drinks. This met our expectations. The ambience is also great, at least inside. We saw this when we went to the winter garden. Unfortunately our place was not indoors but in the winter garden. It doesn't do your place justice. It is loveless and regulating the temperature with patio heaters was uncomfortable. For example, the beer garden tables could have at least been covered with a tablecloth. It reminded me of a flight where you first had to go through first class at the front entrance and then be allowed to sit in wooden class.

My husband and I reserved a table for 2 people for 5:15 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025. We were warmly welcomed and accompanied to our table by a member of staff. Francesco was responsible for our well-being there. Which he did really well. We started with a delicious Limocello Spritz. We received homemade bread with a spicy aioli. First of all everything is good. For starters we ordered vitello tonnato and fried scallops on beluga lentil salad. Both starters were also very tasty. And Francesco was attentive at all times. For the main course, my husband chose a Margherita pizza. There was nothing wrong here either. The dough was exactly as he imagined it. Crispy, thin and the topping is just right. I chose Momo's fish plate. But unfortunately I had to return the food because the noodles with the dish were lukewarm. Unfortunately the prawns were overcooked, the salmon wasn't fried well, the pulp was very clear. Overall not worthy of the price. A new plate was brought to me without any fuss or discussion. In between there was a glass of white wine from the house. But unfortunately the processing of the fish was not what I wanted. After further inquiry from the staff, I was offered to bring another dish. I was treated very courteously at all times. The dish was then removed from the bill. At the end we were very pleased with the final bill. Everyone makes mistakes, but there are differences in how to deal with them. I would give 10 stars for that. It was a lovely evening for us. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team.

The only drawback: the table for the two of us was positioned between other tables and therefore quite narrow and loud. We would go there again at any time.

A nice restaurant, service was good, unfortunately only Pepsi Cola, no other better brand. You have to order bread and aioli separately, so they weren't included for free beforehand. Enjoyed Okai. The pizza didn't quite suit my taste. Tasted dry and was thinly topped. Since we often eat pizzas, including Neapolitan ones and ones we make ourselves, this unfortunately didn't meet our expectations. I can't say exactly what the problem was, except that it tasted and looked dry. The rating only reflects my personal impression. The restaurant was very busy, which shows that it is popular with many people. Unfortunately we didn't try pasta, although there are very interesting dishes.

Although it is a modern (and relatively large) restaurant, it has a very cozy atmosphere and very attentive service. And the food is excellent, from pizza to homemade pasta to meat and fish dishes.

The food is good, but it would have to be significantly better to justify the high prices. I pay 25 EUR for pasta at my favorite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt at the Alte Oper, but the taste is even better. On the other hand: If you are in the area anyway (e.g. for the musical or football) you can definitely go here. The quality of the food is good, the service is good and so is the ambience. And to me it's worth the extra euros to eat well when visiting a stadium or a musical without having to make another pilgrimage by car/train.

Traveled from Upper Austria to see Starligth Express and booked a hotel, but their kitchen was closed due to a lack of staff. So we quickly looked for an alternative - found Momo's. Without a reservation, the waitress organized a table for 6 people - even though everything was reserved - and we were able to enjoy a really good meal in an hour and a half in a great atmosphere and really nice staff! Thumbs up again!

After 30 minutes we had our first drink and after an hour our food. Our waitress was very friendly, but obviously had too many tables to serve. The food was good.

I loved this restaurant, I was looking for something delicious to eat near the hotel and I found this very nice place, they served me very well despite not having any reservation, they placed me at a nice table and the service was great, the food was very delicious and the exquisite wine. The atmosphere is very rich because the people who serve you also talk to you, ask how you are and tell things about your life, they make you feel very comfortable, like important people. Everything was delicious, I stayed quite a while and as usual, I left a tip to the waitress who smiled very happily, and that's it, I come from below and I don't forget my roots. I am from Colombia, but I live in Germany.

A drink that was ordered was forgotten and then had to be reordered at the counter because no service staff came to the table for a long time. Same thing with espresso after dinner and when paying. We had dinner there on New Year's Eve. The quality of the food is good - but the price is in a range where you can expect near perfection. Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the taste. The truffle pasta was a bit flabby and the pizza also left a lot to be desired in terms of toppings. Basically tasty but the price is not appropriate. Our main problem is definitely the service! I don't know if it was a snapshot, but we waited 2 hours from sitting down to eating. The waiters seemed to be organized quite chaotically, probably simply not enough staff. After we finished our drinks, we weren't really noticed anymore and it took over 30 minutes until we got something new to drink - unfortunately only after we had eaten. The promised bread for the starter and the parmesan for the main course were not brought or were only brought upon request. To come to a conclusion, the taste and quality are definitely okay. However, I think the food and service don't do justice to the price!

Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing, though it had a few redeeming moments. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, which felt excessive, and the first waiter we dealt with was grumpy and unhelpful. The main dining area was cramped, with tables so close together it was hard to feel comfortable. We were eventually allowed to move to the winter garden, but that space was freezing and didn’t feel properly set up for diners. The food didn’t make up for the poor atmosphere. My steak was far below rare, with almost no sides to accompany it. On the other hand, my girlfriend enjoyed her vegetarian dish, which was the meal’s saving grace. Thankfully, a second waiter who served us later was much nicer and more attentive, which slightly improved the overall experience. Still, with poor service, long waits, and mediocre food (apart from the vegetarian dish), it’s hard to recommend this place. Two stars instead of one, thanks to the friendlier waiter and my girlfriend’s meal.

At first we were a little disappointed because they wanted to place us in a winter garden. However, it wasn't well heated and it didn't have a cozy feeling for me. At the express request, we were seated in the cozy indoor area. There we were looked after by the charming Patrick. He saved our evening because the receptionist rudely rejected us several times and we almost left because of the seat and her unfriendliness. Luckily, after changing seats, the evening went well, the food was great and the waiters Patrick and the tall, blonde gentleman in the back area deserve special mention. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was okay too. The prices for the food (spaghetti carbonara) are not entirely reasonable as the portion size is manageable. And very salty, if you like it. The pizza was okay, unfortunately the cold tomatoes were spread carelessly on the pizza and there was far too little topping overall.

The table decoration was very sparse and the chairs were perceived as noticeably hard. The taste was very good, but that should be expected given the prices. A vegan cheese alternative is on the menu, but couldn't be ordered, which was disappointing.

About a week ago, the four of us visited the Trattoria Momo in Bochum - our first visit there, and we were absolutely thrilled! The evening was made a perfect experience by Patrick, the managing director or restaurant manager. As soon as we were greeted we felt warmly welcomed. We were offered two seats to choose from and were able to choose in a very relaxed manner - a super attentive and committed start to the evening. The wine recommendations were excellent and perfectly matched to our dishes. We had various starters, a pasta course as an intermediate course, various main courses and shared a dessert - all portions were perfectly sized and the quality of the food was excellent. The price-performance ratio was absolutely convincing. We would particularly like to highlight the service: attentive without being intrusive. Our glasses were always unobtrusively refilled and everything ran like clockwork. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the evening. We would visit Trattoria Momo again at any time - a clear recommendation for anyone looking for excellent food and the best service in a relaxed atmosphere!

I personally can't recommend it any further. Price/performance ratio is not right. You had to look for the toppings on the pizza for just under 20 euros. We asked to pass it on to the chef! The outside windows were sprayed white for Christmas. Unfortunately, the stuff also stuck to the coat rack and bags because the seating was narrow. Otherwise the interior was nicely decorated. All in all very disappointing, it doesn't get any better if the waiter wears a cloth over his arm.🤷‍♀️
