Trattoria Isola Verde in Berlin

For many years, Peter and I were impressed by the cuisine. We always ordered Penne Aribiatia with fillet. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We won't be coming back. We've found a nice new restaurant. It's in the Zabel Krüger Damm.

On my first visit, before the holidays, I was thrilled. The pizza was good and flavorful. Now, on my current visit, I was very disappointed. The small salad wasn't recommended; it was mostly iceberg lettuce. The Parma pizza, even the small size, wasn't visually sufficient. The Parma ham didn't have a nice, classic red color, and the cheese was simply crumbled over it. I also missed the good tomato sauce, which is the basis of the pizza. 😞 I'd also like to mention that if you sit outside, you have to endure the screaming of children, as there seems to be a small, active playground for kids in the back. But I want to enjoy the food and not feel like I'm at a children's playground. These days, children are no longer capable of behaving calmly and keeping themselves occupied in a restaurant. I was disappointed. 😔

This is how we discovered southern Italy. True Italian culinary culture in a family atmosphere. We feel truly comfortable and welcome here. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always cheerful. It's very cozy both in the garden and inside. We'd love to come back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant because it's not exactly in our area. I've always wanted to go there, especially for the "Ischia-style rabbit," the house specialty. Yesterday, it finally worked out, and it certainly won't be the last time. The large, covered garden is very comfortable, and neither rain nor extreme heat can dampen your spirits. The food was delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the incredibly friendly service, both from the chef himself and the two young waitresses. You really feel at home. Next time, I'll have to eat inside to check out the decor that's been discussed so often here—I bet I'll find it cozy! Thank you for everything!

Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated a lot, 1 spoonful of Bolognese on a portion of lasagna, it's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so much. The toppings on the pizza are also becoming increasingly economical. It is with great regret that we say goodbye to our local restaurant.

Super nice traditional Italian restaurant that has been in operation for 27 years. You are greeted straight away in Italian and the food is delicious. A real Italian with absolutely fair prices. I'll definitely go there again.

Italian family business. You can eat really well at Isola Verde. Here, you won't find typical Italian cuisine, but rather home-style dishes from the island of Ischia. One of the special recommendations is the rabbit. The bruschetta is also very special – with lentils and good olive oil instead of tomatoes and garlic.

We really enjoyed the starter and main courses. We will be very happy to come back.

The food was tasty, but the portions were relatively small and the prices were quite high. The tiramisu was too bland for us. The rooms are small and cozy, but filled with decoration in every corner. Here less would be more. The service was very accommodating.

Thank you very much for yesterday's lovely celebration with over twenty friends and family, which was certainly a requirement. We were in good hands in the separate, beautifully decorated room. The six-course menu - seven with bruschetta - was excellent and the service was perfect. Each course was served to the guests at the same time. The children were cared for. And the dessert lovingly decorated for the festive occasion! Touchingly beautiful! There was only enthusiastic feedback from all my loved ones. Thanks to the whole team in service, at the counter and in the kitchen! You are the best!

It is not intrusive, but welcomes you with a special ambience with a special personal charm and that is exactly what makes it special. Feel warmly welcomed, a guest and entertained in a piece of Ischia in the north of Berlin. The food is good anyway and the surroundings round off the visit, see for yourself.

This Italian restaurant was recommended to me by my uncle and is very close to me. Inside it looks as you would expect, typically Italian. Quaint, cozy atmosphere. At first the house had something similar to bruschetta, only with lentils. These were very well received by my companion. Of course we also had bruschetta and it was very good. For the main course we had everything from pizza, pasta and meat. The schnitzel dish was very filling, there were two schnitzels with sauce and croquettes. We had pasta with mushrooms and truffles. The pasta with the mushrooms went down well, my truffle pasta was very parmesan-heavy and therefore very greasy, which didn't do my stomach much good either. There was very little truffle on it and the pizza was by far the worst rated. The people on site were super nice and friendly. The food was mostly good, but not a highlight.

The benches (inside) are a bit hard. Otherwise, a cozy atmosphere with a wild mix of styles, very tasty food at reasonable prices and super friendly and attentive staff. In warm weather you can also sit outside and it is no problem finding a parking space in the area. People like to go here more often.

A "small" restaurant near Tegel, family-run with heart and soul - you can tell that straight away. Very friendly. It was very busy on our evening so a reservation is necessary. Bruschetta was very tasty and so was the free lentil bruscetta. The dessert was great (limoncello tiramisu) my pizza was good, I found it a bit too neutral in taste but the base was good) my friend had pasta with shrimp and mushrooms (25€) in tomatoes and oil. It was a good portion, but unfortunately it was "too dry" and some kind of sauce was missing. The 3 shrimps were fresh.

If you want to feel like you're on vacation, this is the right place for you. Very quiet, very cozy and its own charm... there's something familiar and cozy about it. It looks inconspicuous from the outside, but once you sit there in the afternoon, the outdoor area quickly fills up. The noodles are freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating and fulfilled every wish. Our children also felt very comfortable because there was an extra play area.

We always enjoy coming back to eat here. The truffle pizza was very tasty and recommended. Since our granddaughter has celiac disease and is only allowed to eat gluten-free, she comes here full and happy. She never has any problems after eating.

We ended up here through friends and were totally thrilled. So much so that we were here for the second time this week. Despite the large number of people, they made it possible for us to get a table on the terrace after 10 minutes, even without a reservation. Crispy fried sardines and focaccia as a starter, then the recommended rabbit and afterwards pistachio tiramisu. Plus the wonderful service staff... Must try: the melon liqueur! We accidentally wandered into this pizzeria. The interior is just as old as the guests. It hasn't been renovated since the 80s and the average age is people with perms. My noodles were great! 5 stars for that My friend's pizza: 3 stars, the buffalo mozzarella was missing, before that there was cheaper bucket mozzarella. The staff: has the Italian cosiness: 3 stars The beer garden is pretty, plastic chairs and 80s raffia chairs here too. Maybe we are just too young as a target group?!

We ate here for a birthday. The food was very tasty, the waitresses and waiters were very friendly... and a musician hired by the wedding party celebrating next door even sang a few birthday songs... it was really great!!

Yesterday we sat a little longer and we weren't constantly asked if we would like anything else. I personally think that's good. The ambience is great. Einer der letzten " richtigen " Italiener im Nordern von Berlin. Super frisches Essen in einem sehr familiären Ambiente. Keine überladene Speisekarte was von frische bei der Zubereitung zeugt. Der Service ist klasse. Das Ambiente, wie alles im leben Geschmackssache. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl, und wenn der Biergarten hinterm Haus geöffnet ist, noch um so mehr. Ein toller Ort zum verweilen, entspannen und Sehle baumeln lassen. Es wird auf ALLE Wünsche des Kunden eingegangen, man muss es nur ansprechen.
