Amazing Italian restaurant with a good variety of vegetarian options, made with great ingredients, taste delicious and yet reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend this place and also go back myself !

We loved it. We were there for a couples dinner, service was quick, polite and attentive. Food -> absolutely delicious, their seasons menu had a great selection. We had a bottle of rose that was very yummy and their overall wine selection was great, there’s definitely something for everyone.

This is our favorite restaurant in Berlin. We come here practically every week. The food is excellent, all fresh Italian specialties, accompanied by top-notch wines and aperitifs. Highly recommended.

We were there on a beautiful Wednesday evening, the atmosphere was very nice outside. However, the starter and main course were very basic.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant tucked away in a quiet area and yet worth making the effort to find. It's the kind of traditional place that offers a small but well selected menu along with daily specials which match whatever is in season. We dropped in for lunch on a sunny day and were immediately given some lovely sourdough bread and olive oil to munch on while we made our decision. This was a good start and matched our nicely cooked meals: my pasta with tuna dish had just the right amount of bite in the pasta while the sauce was both light and fresh. So Petrarca turned out to be an excellent find. The staff were very friendly and helpful while the food was top notch.

I was there for lunch...I ordered a portion of pasta with tuna, olives and capers in tomato sauce. I expressed that I would like to sprinkle a little cheese on top. I was then harshly told that this had nothing to do with Italian food. After all, you would have fresh tuna in this dish. After I received the dish, I once again expressed my wish that I would like to sprinkle a little cheese on top. The woman was so rude and literally refused to serve me cheese. After asking the “chef” for permission🤪 she slammed a bowl of parmesan in front of me. I would have much preferred to have pecorino or mozzarella. In any case, they will never see me there again.!!!!!!!

We came here on the recommendation of an Italian friend. Very good food. And a bit different from the usual Italian menu. I had dandelion on refried beans with chili flakes for starters. It was delicious! And then orecchiette with cime di rapa. For dessert, homemade pistachio ice cream. All three were delicious! The acoustics in the small dining room were a bit challenging, even though acoustic panels were already hung on the walls and taped under the tables.

Totalmente delicioso - joya escondida - la mejor comida italiana que he comido fuera de Italia! Tenía los ravioles y mi marido la ensalada de pan de burrata. Bonita ubicación - fuera de los caminos trillados 10 minutos a pie del Museo de Historia Natural.

Sicuramente una fantastica scoperta. Cucina italiana 100%. Servizio impeccabile. Antipasto italiano misto e panzanella con burrata. Per me ravioli di magro con salsa di pomodoro ma ho assaggiato anche le polpette di carne. Tutto di qualità. Bevuto un friulano. Speso in 5 meno di 200 euro quindi anche il prezzo decisamente nella norma. Non ho dato il massimo solo perché i tavoli sono molto piccoli, il locale quando si è riempito era molto rumoroso. Merita il viaggio.

Very nice experience. The food was tasty and the service was very good. The truffle pasta is recommended but the burrata was so delicious honestly I think it was the best on their menu.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I were very enthusiastic about the extremely tasty dishes, good drinks (the espresso is particularly noteworthy) and the pleasant service. The menu is very varied. We would be happy to come back, especially since the price-performance ratio was also convincing.

Everything was great, but very salty. There is a small selection of main dishes, but a lot of different antipasti and wine.

We were eating with a group of 5 people and waited almost 1.5 hours for our pretty average pasta. A promised compensation on the house was then still charged. You will then be brushed off during the conversation. No recommendation

The pasta was not al dente and the wine was hot and cost €9 a glass (red wines must be between 10 and 18 degrees). Correct portions, but with things to improve for the price of their dishes. Friendly waiters.

Lovely small Italian restaurant, great food.

The Petrarca hosted our small wedding reception last Friday. We can hardly put into words how grateful we are for this day and the wonderful support from the Petrarca team. Very nice ambience, warm people and absolutely amazing food. Our guests are still talking about it today. What was supposed to be just a small lunch went on into the early evening because everyone felt so comfortable eating, drinking and chatting. Thank you thank you thank you!

Really a good local. But it's not at all clear to accept a reservation when you have my place. Especially at nine o'clock when there is no alternative. The drink at the bar was also not paid for. Sorry. I like the store but that's not possible. I'm not coming back.

An extremely welcoming and comfortable neighborhood restaurant. With a changing menu that offers super tasty and freshly prepared dishes. My personal recommendation is the gnocchi – incredibly tasty and definitely worth a try!

Wirklich schönes, kleines italienisches Restaurant abseits der Touristenströme. Wir hatten verschiedene Speisen und die Käseauswahl vorweg als Start. Die Karte war klein, aber fein. Eine große Auswahl an Weinen!Ich hatte die Trüffel Pasta, welche ganz gut war! Tiramisu am Ende war auch sehr gut. Reservierung vorab ist zum empfehlen, da es wirklich ein kleines Restaurant ist.

In einer Gruppe mit 14 Personen sehr lecker gegessen, Wein getrunken und super bedient worden. Zuerst gab es diverse Vorspeisen für alle gemeinsam, danach konnte jeder ein Hauptgericht wählen.

Excellent restaurant italien Carpaccio de Bresaola très bon mais surtout un carpaccio de courgettes incroyable. Une création du chef, une vraie réussite.

Un lugar acogedor, con un servicio muy amable y excelente calidad en todos sus platos. Buscaba un lugar con encanto y sin duda lo encontré. El menú está enfocado en platos para compartir, raciones medianas pero con sabores trabajados y ingredientes de alta calidad. Disfrutamos cada uno de ellos, así como el vino que nos recomendó el camarero. Una cena de 10.

Lunch or dinner, Franco Petrarca always has the REAL Italian food prepared with a lot of passion and care. The menu is „short“ and that is the first sign for high quality, it goes from regional pasta disches, fish (special mention for the octopus salad) and meat prepared with great attention, regional seasoning and great presentation. The desserts are all home made, with another special mention to the Tiramisú! Focaccia, pizza and bread served at the beginning with some great olive oil make it a great start. Franco ´s wife Marianna and the team make your visit a memorable one.

Very good experience at Petrarca: original menu with plenty of plates to share, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room is actually cozy and well decorated. The prices are on the high side, but fair for the quality. For these prices, though, it would help their customers to allow some sort of credit card payment… really baffling to expect hundreds of euros in cash in this day and age.

Mittagskarte sehr lecker, netter Service und ruhige Nebenstraße auch zum draußen sitzen. Pasta ist auf den Punkt! Portion ist ausreichend groß zum Mittag. Es kann leider sehr voll sein. Man sollte bei größeren Gruppen reservieren.

Cool place to eat original Italian food. The wine offering is really rich. Staff is kind and professional. Definitely recommended for a business lunch, at dinner or just drinking some very good wine or a refreshing Aperol Spritz.

The experience was fairly underwhelming. The pasta was too salty and the meat was old. Kind of felt like it came from a can. The wine was okay. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

It's an okay eatery. It takes a long time to get the food, nothing super special and okay ingredients, not a great value for money.

It’s a shame that the overall experience was ruined by a disappointing service mainly. First of all the dishes are overpriced. They dont tell you at the beginning that its a cash only place. So after dinner you have to run around searching for a cash machine in a neighbourhood. Why? Because they dont want to pay taxes or whatever the convenience is for them to not accept cards. Secondly, all male staff serves food, mostly dont speak English, but one of them doesnt seem to understand any language but keeps nodding and giving random yes/no answers regardless of the question. The outdoor seats are uncomfortable wooden benches, they didnt put any simple cushioning to make this a bit more enjoyable. People smoke on tables around without any consideration for your meal. Anyhow, its a shame, the food was pretty decent. Their signature truffle pasta is good but it didnt blow my mind for 26 eur. Wine was so, so. Is it worth the price? No.

We had really amazing food here. Authentic. No commercial Italian taste. Pasta was homemade. Best dish was the small octopus with Polenta. One true Italian gem.

Petrarca is a small family owned italian restaurant. I have been going there for years and the quality never disappoints. I highly recommend the truffle pasta, it is amazing. Unfortunately, they are closed on the weekends since it truly is a family restaurant. Remember to make a reservation!

Eine kleine Vinotheka mit einer guten weinauswahl. Wir waren zu zweit spontan zum Essen dort und begeistert von der Qualität der Speisen. Meine Bärlauch Ravioli waren hervorragend und das Tiramisu als Abschluss ein Genuss. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

A great place with tasty wine and food! We were a big group, but still were taken a good care of! The gentlemen were so polite and friendly, they served us super fast and well! My choices of food made me super happy - I can recommend the beef carpaccio and ravioli with truffle. Primitivo wine was suiting perfectly!

Such a great Italian restaurant. The antipasti and pasta menu is very creative and tasty! They don't serve Pizza at this spot, but trust me, you won't find a lot of places in Berlin, which are serving such a great pasta. So if you are a pasta lover, this is a spot for you.

Lovely little cafe in a quiet side street with super tasty, authentic Italian food

Very cute little place, huge wine selection, a handful of pasta dishes and aperitifs. The server was friendly, joining in the conversations of what seemed like regular visitors. We sat outside on a wonderful summer night, had the assorted cheese plate (delicious little tastes with honey/dried fig/jam) and the ravioli. There were only 4 pieces of ravioli (hand made), but delectable. The price reflected the quality for sure, the quantity could have been more. Also only cash is accepted, if I remember (I didn't ask or try with card).

Very good, very nice neighbourhood joint that uses high-quality ingredients with great skill to serve delicious food. Attentive staff, reasonable prices. Recommended!
