We visited Focaccino for a dinner with a large group when attending a congress in Berlin, based on personal recommendations, and I can only say that this was a great choice. Riccardo Puglisi was friendly and approachable during the preparations and made sure all our demands were met The food was superb, we experienced a piece of Sicily right in the heart of Berlin. If we have the chance to visit Berlin again we'll definitely return to Focaccino.

I came across this restaurant because they offer the option of ordering all their dishes gluten-free. I ordered Linguine al Tonno e pesce spada fresco alla siciliana: Linguine with fresh tuna and swordfish in caper, olive, and tomato sauce (€18.00). For the gluten-free version, I had to pay an extra €4 for pasta (and €6 for pizza), and unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. I had to wait an incredibly long time. Instead of linguine, I got mini penne, which included three mini pieces each of tuna and swordfish. Getting penne instead of linguine and paying an extra €4 for it, I personally find it a bit steep. The ambiance was nice, and the service was only okay; we had to ask for the bill a few times. Unfortunately, I wasn't that impressed with the restaurant, at least for people who have to follow a gluten-free diet.

I didn't find the food tasty at all. We only got new bread after asking twice. The prices for such bad food are also extreme. It was very loud and you could hardly hold a conversation.

Five stars aren't enough; six would be more than appropriate. The food was excellent. The service couldn't have been friendlier. A truly enjoyable experience. Thanks to the entire crew!

As a true italian i’ve really appreciated this restaurant. Excellent service, the owner, Riccardo was super nice and helpful, he is italian and also the cooks are, this is great and authentic, because a lot of “italian” places claim to be italian, but they are not. Food was great and service on point. Will come back for sure. Super bravi!

The food and service were indeed pleasant and carried a certain air of authenticity. Unfortunately, the pricing strategy leaned more toward performance art than hospitality. A modest 2 cl pour of limoncello for a mere €7 was defended with the elegant justification that “it is written in the menu.” By that logic, why not list it at €20 and simply call it transparency? The evening began quite nicely, until we discovered that every microscopic adjustment to the dishes had been meticulously tallied and presented on the bill as though we had commissioned a bespoke masterpiece. Many thanks for the culinary experience — though rest assured, we shall not trouble you with our presence again.

I had this tiramisu for the first time today. The menu doesn't lie! It's the best in the whole city! Thank you for the deliciousness.

The food is excellent, the pasta is always cooked al dente, and the pizza is made with a very special dough. The service is absolutely outstanding and very attentive. Our favorite Italian restaurant on the Stutti.

Just steps from Charlottenburg train station, Focaccino was an excellent choice. We wanted to experience the flavors of home after several dinners of local specialties...and we couldn't have found better. The dishes were truly well-prepared with top-quality ingredients. The owners were friendly and professional, and the restaurant was very well-maintained, with a summer terrace. Highly recommended.

We had dinner two consecutive nights at Focaccino, Riccardo the owner welcomed us and immediately made us feel at ease. The Sicilian cuisine they offer is traditional and delicious. You can see that each dish is cooked with care and passion. If you are Italian and you are in the area at Focaccino you can't go wrong. I will definitely go back

I had a wonderful evening with my friends. We first had the caponata and absolutely loved it! Then we ordered the truffle pasta and the pistachio pesto and couldn't decide which one tasted better. Both were incredibly delicious. The wine paired perfectly, too. We felt very comfortable. The chef and waitress work with passion, and you can really feel it. It's authentic, and that's what makes the food and the atmosphere so special. You feel like you're in Sicily for a few hours.

For €15, I got a pizza with a diameter of just 20 cm—absolutely steep. I ordered it to go and was truly disappointed. It was also incredibly greasy. The value for money isn't right here at all.

Had dinner yesterday with a reservation! The staff was incompetent and overwhelmed. From the appetizer, to the starter, to the main course, everything was a disaster. I left every dish after two forks. The white wine (Sicilian) had no flavor (flat), and at €48, it wasn't worth the price. We ended up spending €200. I have never eaten so BADLY at a local restaurant in my life. This restaurant should be avoided under these circumstances!!!! We don't understand these positive reviews and, after our evening last night, they are inexplicable.

You feel like you are in Italy, the atmosphere is family-friendly, the food is delicious and the service is excellent.

I spontaneously went there for dinner with my sister and father. The pizzas and pasta were great. Unfortunately, we had to wait a bit longer for our food because they had a table with 18 people. But what I liked was that we were warned in advance and the food was warm at the end. Great service, on point, they apologized often and said everything was fine, no stress 😂 Very friendly people, friendly, and always in a good mood 🙏🏻 We'll definitely be back. P.S. The tiramisu was really good. And the waitress, the young lady, was very friendly, polite, personable, and pretty☺️ We'll be back one day ☺️

Very attentive chef & very delicious meat.

Just a really lovely family run restaurant with great food and easy service. We had a small antipasto of frito misto minus calamari and then two amazing pasta dishes. The home made pasta was perfect (why expect otherwise?) and the truffle sauce exquisite with enough cream and parmesan not to drown out the pleasing undertones of white truffle and truffle shavings on top. Dessert was a "shared" tiramisu but I didn't get a chance! Just beautiful and the service was excellent too.

A bit overrated. The food is good - not excellent - and comes at a price. However, they are not the "best in town" as the menu claims for individual dishes. I found the boss to be a bit arrogant.

My husband and I visited this place for the first time 2 days ago on a valentine's day. It is very difficult to rate this place for me as our experience was ruined when the oldest waitress there started screaming at me for putting my gum in my plate. There were no napkins :) Not going to lie I was stumped by her rudeness and only said at some point of her lecturing me for the next 5 minutes "I am sorry, the next time I'll swallow it". Really, I felt like my mother was giving me a shameful lesson in front of everybody. When in fact, even my mother has never done that as she has a sense of tact. The owner of the place was very nice, picked a nice bottle of wine for us, was very present and attentive, the other waitress was also very nice. We had a steak and tuna, octopus salad and some deserts. Tuna was delicious. With that being said, a sense of bitterneas stayed with me, so never will visit this place again.

A restaurant like this will quickly become your favorite Italian restaurant in Berlin!

The Vitelotonato was very tasty. Unfortunately, my entrecote was not as medium as desired, even though the boss, who probably also cooks there personally, asked again. I didn't complain about it because it still wasn't tough and tasted good too. Service was very courteous and friendly.

Delicious food, especially the vegetarian pizza and the truffle pasta 👌 the portions are rather small and the starters are a little higher priced, but everything tasted good and the chef greets everyone personally and very hospitably.

Too loud, too expensive, portions too small… If you order spaghetti you get fettuccine. The house wine is great though

Maybe this is me misunderstanding how New Year’s Eve service should be in Berlin, but still. We agreed to a predefined menu with 4 courses. When we came to the restaurant at the appointed time and got our table, the staff didn’t seem to be quite sure what we ordered or if we already have paid. Had to wait some time before ordering our first drink. The waiters in general were quite unavailable and moved through the restaurant without even lifting their eyes from the floor. So our first PREORDERED dish came 1 hour after we came and we did not get any apologies or even explanation from anyone while we waited this whole time. The carpaccio was fine, but the taste of the long wait was more overpowering. Next dish came also maybe 40 minutes after the first one. It was ravioli and it tasted really good, so it is a shame that the rest of experience was underwhelming. We realised that if we stayed we would not be finished with our meal until midnight. This was not working for us since we had further plans and we had to leave after the second dish. The waitress tried to explain to us about it being busy and so on, but I still don’t understand how you can manage to give such a looong frustrating experience when the number of guests and chosen dishes is predefined and it is a special night as New Year’s. If you don’t have the capacity to provide a good service than reduce the amount of tables you choose to serve. This was a real downer as we expected something else considering the reviews and ratings.

Absolutely spectacular food, nice and central location. Friendly staff. We were able to celebrate our Christmas party here, and the rich and very tasty 4 courses almost drove us crazy. Highly recommended!!!

We were able to spontaneously reserve a table for three people on Friday evening. We were warmly welcomed. The service was excellent and the boss personally welcomed us. The pizzas were incredibly tasty and seasoned to perfection. We would love to come back to try the other dishes. The atmosphere and furnishings were also stylish and pleasant. We felt completely comfortable.

We had the pleasure of dining in this Sicilian cuisine restaurant here in Germany and I must say that it was a very positive experience. The quality of the cuisine deserves a full eight: authentic dishes, prepared with care and with a flavor that truly recalls Sicily, with fresh and well-matched ingredients. A big plus point is certainly the owner, who proved to be very nice, kind and helpful. He was able to give us the best advice, making the evening even more pleasant. If you are looking for a corner of Sicily abroad, this is the right place: good food, warm welcome and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Advised!

The store is simply outstanding. Nothing more is possible! The food is just outrageously good, I mean unbelievably good. The service is simply outstanding. Very tasty Italian food, pleasant, warm atmosphere and a friendly team! We like to come to Focaccino for dinner and also celebrated an event there with 20 people. Planning with Riccardo was easy and he put together a delicious menu for us - it was a lovely day all round! We always enjoy coming here and recommend the Focaccino without reservation.

Über 1 Stunde auf meine Ravioli gewartet. Qualität in Ordnung Preis, Leistung Na ja. Der Vorturner der am Eingang rumläuft, toll wie unhöflich man sein kann.

An absolute gem hidden in the winding streets of Berlin. I loved the feel of the place, almost Sicilian and the food was absolutely top notch. The wine was selected for me by the owner based on my palette request and proved to be perfectly ordered. The tiramisu was divine and the service and attention by the staff was warm and hospitable to the max. A must visit for anyone looking to eat gourmet and genuine Italian food.

Unfortunately our visit this time was disappointing! Pasta dish lukewarm, veal chop tastes very dry and bland. The red wine was warm, you had to put ice cubes in the glass. Here I recommend a wine cabinet and storing the bottles there on hot summer days. Since the restaurant was fully booked, this may explain why the staff, including the boss, already seemed stressed from the start. Well, it wasn't our first time there, so we won't be coming back for the time being. Maybe a restaurant that doesn't focus on regular guests but rather on tourists. Too bad! A real Italian restaurant. Interesting Sicilian cuisine. Recommended! Had pasta, both dishes excellent!

Short and sweet: The pizza is outstanding! The service is extremely professional and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and very cozy. The only point of criticism: water is more expensive than beer.

Beautiful little cozy restaurant. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The pizza was a 10/10. Only the water for €6.50 wasn't necessary - it was better to order beer. Otherwise, absolute recommendation!

I had the best vitello tonnato of my life last night, honestly! The unusual combination of sardines with capers and raisins with the linguine is also an absolute delight! Not to forget a superbly mixed Negroni as an aperitif and a refreshingly fruity rosé. I have been a big fan of Riccardo's Focaccino for years and will continue to be for years to come. Please keep it up!

During a short stay in Berlin, with the aim of not losing good habits, we chose to eat in an Italian restaurant. Letting ourselves be advised by the excellent reviews, we call to book and they reply in perfect Italian, wishing us a good evening. Perfect business card for a real Italian restaurant! The dinner was excellent and the welcome and attentive service were truly pleasant. The preparations of gluten-free dishes are also tasty. On our way out we made reservations for the following dinner. What else to say?! If you are in Berlin, choose to stop by Focaccino.

Die Bewertungen wurden selbst geschrieben oder wurden gekauft! Ja, nettes Ambiente! Ja, nettes und bemühtes Service- Personal. Aber so was kann ein völlig von sich überzeugter und überheblicher Chef zu nichte machen. Unglaublich aber wahr. Wer sich darüber lustig macht, weil jemand die Oliven und Kapern von seiner Pizza nimmt, weil er diese einfach nicht mag und das nicht nur einmal und so, dass auch schon andere Gäste geguckt haben. (welche auf der Speisekarte auch nicht angegeben waren), statt sich zu entschuldigen, ist für mich fehl am Platz. Wundert sich aber dann noch, daß es kein Trinkgeld gibt...

If you are Italian and are visiting Berlin and want to go home for a meal, this is the place for you. The food is excellent, as is the service, the dishes arrive all together at the same time and hot. It's a great place if you want to eat gluten free food, which is a game changer for celiacs who come on holiday here to Berlin. The staff is very courteous and kind. Prices are slightly higher, but completely justified if you want quality. When I return to Berlin, I will definitely stop here again!

Beautiful food, we had orange fennel salad to start which was spectacular. 2 of us had GF pasta just amazing and 1 person had regular pasta which was declared the best Italian food ever. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place, truly exceptional pizza, as well as being delicious, being made with particular ingredients, it is highly digestible (like having eaten a salad). The place is furnished in rustic Italian style, a wonderful thing! If you want to feel like you're in Italy and eat really well, I recommend you try it. Furthermore, the owner will make you feel at home with the hospitality that you only find in southern Italy.

It's taken me such a long time to try this authentic Sicilian restaurant. The owner is super friendly and engaging. We were recommended to try a starter, which was very different from what I had tasted. All the dishes were very delicious with professional services. Highly recommended!

The food is excellent - the tastiest pizza I've eaten in Germany so far! The desserts were also incredibly delicious, Zabaione is personally mixed by hand by the boss to order. We recommend. The service is very nice and courteous and we also really liked the ambience. We will definitely come back for our next visit to Berlin!

The Foccacino at Stutti has now become a favorite place. Sometimes as a couple, sometimes with family or good friends. The food is always exceptionally good, the wines are appropriately selected and recommended, the ambience and service are great. And some of our friends have already become regular guests there. That actually says it all.

Non a caso questo è il secondo ristorante su TripAdvisor a Berlino. Si mangia molto bene e Riccardo è veramente un bravissimo ristoratore. Simpatico e molto gentile. La cucina poi fa il resto. Ottimo il polipo è ottimi tutti i primi. Non saprei dire qualcosa che non andava bene perché tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato, ed eravamo in nove, era veramente buonissimo. Anche la pizza sicuramente sopra alla media delle pizze che si mangiano a Berlino. Lo consiglio perché anche il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono. Andate a questo ristorante chiedete di Riccardo e non ve ne pentirete, noi siamo stati veramente bene.

Visto le ottime recensioni e visto che eravamo in zona, ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante vicino alla stazione di Charlottemburg! Nonostante il locale fosse pieno ci hanno trovato un tavolo per 2. Consiglio di prenotare! In poche parole, cucina italiana veramente di qualità, i proprietari, un siciliano e un campano, sono molto professionali oltre che simpatici! I piatti siciliani che ho assaporato: tartare di tonno e pasta ( tagliolini non spaghetti purtroppo) con le sarde deliziosi, la pizza di mio figlio con mozzarella di bufala e impasto molto digeribile, i cannolicchi siciliani non proprio della tradizione ma comunque buoni! Il tiramisù consigliato veramente spaziale! Il tutto annaffiato da un ottimo Grillo e un passito dí Pantelleria!! Conto molto onesto per la qualità offerta!!! Consigliatissimo!!!

Abbiamo prenotato on line un tavolo per due e abbiamo fatto bene: il locale era pieno. E dopo aver cenato, la cosa non ci ha stupito affatto. Locale accogliente, personale estremamente cortese. Menù vario, con piatti di carne, pesce e anche un’opzione squisita per vegetariani. Primi eccezionali, pesce freschissimo e quantità più che abbondanti. Ma prendete l’antipasto di verdure: un tripudio degno della cucina siciliana. Accompagnate la cena con un bel bicchiere di vino e vi sentirete come in Sicilia: manca soltanto il mare! Prezzi onesti e servizio ottimo. Esperienza più che positiva, per noi un punto fermo per ogni futura visita a Berlino.
