A wonderful, cozy restaurant with a stunning Italian atmosphere and traditional Italian cuisine. Everything is delicious and fast! Excellent service!!!!

I've been here several times over the years. It's basically my regular Italian restaurant when I'm in Berlin. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful meal. Flambéed pasta fresca with fresh truffles in a Parmesan core. Sensational. We thank you for the friendly service and will be back soon.

First, the positives: The food was excellent. Gluten-free pasta was no problem. The servers were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, there were also some really negative aspects. First, the completely broken and worn menus and the terrible bathrooms.

We visited Berlin and came to Sale a Pepe for dinner several nights. An Italian restaurant with exquisite food and wonderful service from all its staff, especially Emilio, who was always warm and attentive to us. Highly recommended!

We ate there twice during our trip to Berlin. I highly recommend it! The food was excellent and the service very good. The server was always in a joking mood, which made our stay very pleasant. We would gladly go back anytime. The prices are also more than fair.

Another little neighbourhood gem. Wonderful, down to earth and relaxed space. Lunch for one was super comfortable. The team kind and attentive. Absolutely wonderful food. The photos say it all. Had the mixed starter plate, the steak with gorgonzola, and the cassata. Prosecco as an aperitif and a Primitivo to accompany the meal. All solid. Excellent coffee, too. Chef's kiss. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

The staff is friendly and humorous. The beer is delicious. The lasagna and ravioli are super delicious.

I've never eaten there, but I live nearby and there are two waiters who always harass me like crazy. Today I was whistled at. Pull yourself together and shut your mouths. Your behavior is disgusting.

Cozy place in the heart of Berlin. Nice waiters and the food was ok. I expected more from antipasta than 2 kinds of cold cuts and some fried vegetables and what seemed to be some dry olives. The pasta was good and the pizza was crispy.

We happened to walk past yesterday and ate bruschetta, pizza and pasta and were thrilled with all the dishes!!!

I had the pleasure of tasting their carbonara, and I must say it's among the top 10 best I've ever eaten. A real treat! The value for money is also excellent, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend it.

The pizza was fine, but when the waiter took our order, he asked in a suggestive manner, "Are you only having pizza?" He also asked, "Don't you want anything else?" and "Are you paying by cash or card?" with a tone that implied we might be inconveniencing him. He said they don't accept card payments, which came across as rude.

Out teenagers enjoyed the waiter’s humour and professionalism more than the food. The food was quite okay. Rich and balanced flavors, served piping hot. It’s really just that our 13yo can’t handle a pizza that he can’t eat with hand. So he was grumpy. But look, despite the “trouble”, he polished off everything.

It's an unassuming place, but the group of people sitting at tables in front of the restaurant heralds the good news of good food. A friendly welcome greets us, and the menu allows us to confidently choose something to our liking. The service is excellent, with humor and a sense of detachment from the world rolling by two blocks away, allowing for a pleasant time. The dishes are good, nothing to write home about. If you want a delicious meal in good company, don't hesitate. Everything tastes delicious. This is a good place. These people love what they do. And that's enough for a review.

Very friendly service, really good food, and they readily accommodate special requests. The atmosphere inside is good; you can have a good conversation at a normal volume, but it would be too loud outside for me because of the large street. One positive thing I noticed is that all pasta dishes can also be prepared with gluten-free pasta upon request.

Whenever we're in Berlin, we eat here, and no matter what we've ordered so far, everything has been excellent! The food is always freshly prepared, and the ravioli, for example, is handmade, which is hard to find these days... and the prices are unbeatable.

The decor is very stereotypical but nice. The food isn't bad; I'm Italian, so I can say the pizza, although not authentic, is good—a 6.5/10. The walnut ravioli were good, although they had too much spinach on top. The panna cotta was very good. The waiters were very kind and polite.

We were there last night, and the price/performance ratio was quite good. The atmosphere outside was at least okay, so we were just parked on the sidewalk. It wasn't very nice and it felt strange. The food was okay. The pasta was a bit better, but I have to say there were much better chocolate spreads than I've had at an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well for me.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. The reviews are enticing, but the food is very bland. We seriously doubted it was homemade... Indeed, the tomato sauce has absolutely no flavor (which is a staple in an Italian restaurant)... and the service is rather rushed, even unpleasant. We won't be back.

Super... delicious... right next to our hotel. Great service. Super delicious carbonara! Great vitello. Simply super delicious. The ambiance is also really nice. Unfortunately, it's time to clean up all the pictures again. But that doesn't detract from the food! We came without a reservation, and the three of us were seated right away. It feels like you're in Italy... minimal... but fantastico!!!!!

The food here is amazing, I highly recommend the Sale e Pepe pizza! Although the place was full inside, we did get a table in very short notice. The prices are very reasonable for its excellent quality, but unfortunately the spinach and ricotta ravioli were too salty. I recommend getting a reservation, because this cozy pizzeria is highly popular.

We found this nice little Italian restaurant by chance, where the food and service were absolutely first class. There wasn't much space inside, but it helped that there were also tables outside. We highly recommend it!

I ordered a Lasagna and a Tunnafish Pizza and Tiramissu. The price was affordable and the food was tasty, but I don't recommend Tiramissu because I felt like it was just cream instead of cream cheese, I didn't like that at all.

Unfortunately, our order was taken down incorrectly twice. Then only half of the food was brought. The lasagna we did receive was unfortunately not fully defrosted and cold in the middle. When we asked if it could be reheated, the response was: “Don’t think that would make it any better, I recommend you try that one instead.” (Pointed at the Spaghetti Bolognese after i disregarded the 6€ more expense Pasta). When the carpaccio finally arrived, it had little to do with what we expected. At that point, I decided not to eat anything. I was then asked: “What’s wrong with you??” I didn’t really have an answer to that, and was waved off with: “Guess you’re in a bad mood today.” Unfortunately, the order was taken twice incorrectly, then only half was brought, and the lasagne was unfortunately not completely thawed and was cold on the inside. When we asked if it could be reheated, the response was, "I don't think that would be any better, I recommend THAT one," which was shown on spaghetti Bolognese. When the carpaccio arrived, which, to put it mildly, had nothing to do with it, I decided not to eat anything. Then I was asked, "What's wrong with you?" I didn't have much of an answer, and then I was waved off with, "I must be in a bad mood today."

They do not have gluten free, we were turned away - do not go here if you have gluten intolerance.

If you're looking for something Italian in Berlin, I recommend it. Great service, fresh and tasty. Prices around 20-30 euros per person with wine. Great place! I recommend it!

Decided to get Italian for lunch one day on our trip in Berlin. This place is in a good location! We were just shopping and found it on a pretty calm spot and not too crowded there. The food was perfect! I didn't have a good pasta for so long and I really enjoyed my food. My friends got pizza and lasagna and they also love them! The price was also really good it's not expensive at all! Really worth it and I'll definitely come back next time.

We were vacationing in Berlin for a few days and discovered this Italian restaurant by chance. The restaurant also has an ice cream parlor. We liked it so much that we went there twice for dinner and three times for ice cream. The service is very friendly and attentive. You can sit inside or outside. The prices are also very fair. We came to the restaurant following good recommendations on the internet. Despite the niceness of the guys, Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The Nimestrona soup was thin and tasteless, the house pone was overcooked and not al dente, the macaroni Bolognese was sour. Even the beer wasn't cold. A big disappointment, they need to improve.

Over all good experience, delicious Pizza and very nice staff.

A hidden Italian gem in the heart of Berlin! This place truly surprised me — a small, cozy restaurant with a warm, authentic Italian vibe. The food was absolutely delicious: fresh ingredients and pizza that tastes like it’s straight out of Naples. You can tell they cook with real passion.

The pizza was good and served quickly. There's a proper little pepper mill at the table, which I always find great. What I didn't like: The menus are falling apart and worn. There's something like a special asparagus menu in a clear sleeve. This sleeve was completely worn, bent, and dirty in every one of our menus. The staff should have noticed something like that.

Delicious Italian, good value, a bit dark inside, friendly host. Highly recommended.

Au premier abord, une ambiance très italienne, un cadre chaleureux….. La carte est relativement limitée, ce qui n’est pas un mauvais signe à priori, au contraire. Nous avons commandé un minestrone à partager, et comme plat une pizza, marguerite pour mon enfant Pour moi j’ai commandé une saltimbocca de veau. J’ai demandé à un risotto à la place des patates rôties. Pas de problème lors de la commande. Étrangement, le serveur m’a demandé si j’allais payer par carte ou cash, ceci lors de la commande…. C’est bien la première fois que cela m’arrive. J’ai répondu par carte, et cela n’a pas posé de problème, donc ce n’était pas un problème potentiel de système de carte défaillant qui leur a fait poser la question lors de la commande. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, la pizza semble très industrielle, cela se voit avec la répartition des zones blanches et rouges, typiques du surgelé industriel qui est équilibre les boulettes de fromage et tomates de manière mécanique. Si on vient à la saltimbocca de veau, je mettrai ma main à couper que ce n’était pas du veau, mais du porc. Trop cuit de surcroît. Le risotto, quant à lui était similaire, un risotto servi lors d’un évènement et qui a passé plusieurs heures dans un autocuiseur. Bref, un exemple de restaurant qui se fait passer pour italien, frais et traditionnel. C’est tout le contraire À éviter Je regrette d’y avoir emmené mon enfant le dernier jour de notre séjour

Stadets anmeldelser stemmer desværre ikke overens med vores oplevelse og kvaliteten. Vi bestilte pizza, ravioli med gorgonzola souce og 0,50 l rosé vin. Ravioli var ikke friske , virkede mere eller mindre som om de bare havde varmet det op i mikroovnen, vin var så usmagelig ( virkede som om de fik det fortyndet med vand ) og pizza var en af de tyndeste, med meget spredte ingredienser og tilbehør, uden noget rigtig smag. Ærgerligt, men spisestedet vil jeg hverken tilbage til , eller kan anbefale det til andre. Hold jer væk , hvis I vil have ordentligt mad.

Small Italian restaurant a little away from the Kudamm. Warm service, drinks and food came quickly. We had 2 pizzas, they tasted really delicious. The prices are completely okay. This is a really good place to go. After a year we had pizza here again and we were very satisfied again.

The food was delicious! I had a penne with beef and mushrooms that was really good, I was expecting more meat maybe because it was so tasty! The bruschetta was very simple, not very fancy or well chopped but really tasty! Staffs were friendly and if it is windy/cold temperature I recommend you have a reservation in advance inside. Overall, great experience!!
