The food was very, very good, and especially the service was very friendly. They also talk to guests on the same level, which doesn't happen that often these days. The ambience is really nice and you feel secretive. A big thank you to the Peperoncino team for making this evening so wonderful for us.

The price/performance ratio is very good, and the food is also delicious. The service is excellent, with Italian charm.

I had already reserved a table for 5 people for 7:00 PM on June 19, 2025, for my birthday by phone on June 8, 2025. When I arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 PM on June 19, 2025, the owner informed me that there was no reservation for me, even though I could prove the phone call from my call log. Since they didn't want to miss out on the expected revenue, they still found a table for 5 people. My son's girlfriend is heavily pregnant, so the table provided was an imposition, as it was far too small. For starters, we ordered two antipasti platters, which were more than meager for €19.90 each. What a disgrace! For the main course, three people ordered pizza, one rigatoni, and one sea bream for me. As the birthday girl, I was looking forward to the fish. When it was finally served, the ultimate nightmare unfolded: On the plate were two tiny pieces of sea bream with some vegetables, which wouldn't even be enough to fill a child! A bottomless outrage for €17.90! I even had to order the white bread separately. Since I didn't want to react appropriately to this impudence on my birthday, I finally put on a brave face. My two sons gave me a slice of their pizza so their father wouldn't have to go home hungry. As the saying goes, I went to this restaurant twice on my birthday; The first and the last time!!! Oh yes, and not to forget: The men's restroom was absolutely terrible. Everything was completely filthy, there was no way to dry your hands after washing them (except with toilet paper), and it stank of urine. Now, enjoy your meal! Witnesses: My two sons and their girlfriends.

I had the great pleasure of dining at this exceptional Italian restaurant – and I'm absolutely thrilled. The warm, inviting atmosphere is immediately apparent upon entering. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, without being intrusive. The menu offers an excellent selection of classic Italian dishes. We had pizza because the restaurant was closed for a private gathering and the kitchen was at full capacity. We were still allowed to sit outside and choose a pizza. The pizza was a real highlight: very good crust, high-quality ingredients, and absolutely delicious. In conclusion: An all-round successful evening. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine of the highest quality, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Two of us were there. We had bruschetta, side salads, octopus, and veal liver. Very good food. Good dressing. The liver was tender and the red wine and onion sauce was fantastic. The terrace was pleasant with a view of the tennis courts. The two brothers served us very nicely. At the end, we had espresso and limoncello on the house. Completely satisfied.

The food is very good. However, for the location (a tennis club), it's 20% too expensive. An aperitif costs €7. A modest portion of grilled salmon costs €25.

A visit to a restaurant begins with the greeting – very warm and welcoming. Extremely attentive restaurateurs, we felt very comfortable from the very beginning. For starters, vitello tonnato, insalata, main course: original spaghetti carbonara, pizza. Everything was delicious. If you order a grappa or limoncello, the whole bottle will be on the table, just like in the old days. In short, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Oh yes, you can also sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. And one more thing: the family will soon be opening an Italian restaurant in Hemsbach in the former Franko's wine barrel.

A really great, family-run restaurant to enjoy really good and authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and you immediately feel welcome. The team is warm and there is a large roof terrace. The food is simply great! Pasta and pizza like in Italy and also some vegetarian options. The service is relaxed, but still super attentive. There are nice little touches, like grappa at the end. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in a relaxed, familiar atmosphere, this is definitely the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

Real family trattoria with a beautiful terrace

Highly recommended! Great friendly service and very good food. The friendliness is very positive, you feel very comfortable and are looked after nicely and well. This is service the way you want it. We had salad and pizza and loved everything. And ultimately everything at an absolutely fair price. There is also a large parking lot next door, which is also very pleasant.

We can't really evaluate the food until we've been there a few times. Today it was very good, very Italian. The innkeepers were very, very nice. The restaurant is a clubhouse. They made the best of it. The terrace is great. Definitely fantastic with sunset in summer. We can recommend. PS You can get as many schnapps as you want for free 👍

You'll feel like you're on vacation in Italy here 🥰 The food is outstanding - pizzas this good can only be found in Italy, if at all. But the rest of the menu is also simply delicious and highly recommended. And the homemade dessert is definitely a must! 😉 What always rounds off a visit here is the hospitality of the lovely family and the service. Super attentive, courteous, and friendly. You feel completely well looked after and welcome. Quality and well-being are clearly very important here ☺️ My Italian preference is absolute - I don't see the time when I'll arrive again next time 😌

Angelockt durch die überschwänglichen Bewertungen in Google Maps und Tripadvisor sowie dem langem italienischem Namen kamen wir hierher. Die Location - 4 Autokm vom Weinheimer Markt - mitten in einer Sportplatzansammlung ist nüchtern und schlicht: eben ein Vereinsheim. Auch das Ambiente im Inneren kann den ersten Eindruck nicht mehr aufbessern, auch wenn der Wirt einem freundlich die Hand zur Begrüßung ausstreckt. Die Pizzen u.a. 'Frutti di Mare' liegen preislich am oberen Ende in Weinheim. Das Bier (Krombacher) dagegen ist echt preiswert. Wie komme ich ich auf die Bewertung: 5 Punkte fürs Essen, 1/2 Punkt Abzug für die Lage, 1 weiteren Punkt Abzug für das nüchterne Ambiente, 1/2 Punkt Abzug für die lärmenden Gäste (12 Damen einer Frauengruppe, kreischendes Kind mit fernsteuerbarer Feuerwehr auf dem Esstisch, Vater mit bunter Strickwollmütze auf dem Kopf). Fazit: Wir kommen nicht wieder.

We came here based on a recommendation, the great pictures (of the food) and the good reviews, the people were actually super nice, a really warm welcome but unfortunately the food didn't work for us. We had various dishes that were good, but the fish platter (which we were particularly looking forward to) was a complete failure, unfortunately the animals died twice, which is a shame! It's very nice to sit outside!

I have rarely been so disappointed with an Italian restaurant... The service was super friendly, but I find 17.90 for a handful of spaghetti in olive oil and a few lettuce leaves soaked in way too much dressing really cheeky. The portion of pasta weighed 118g with the aluminum shell (I really had to weigh it because I could hardly believe it...) And then this measly salad for €6?! What's wrong with you? Unfortunately the taste is just below standard. A real shame…. Even my 2 year old son wouldn't have been satisfied with that portion

On the banks of vineyard and soccer field, away from busy streets of weinheim, it is definitely worth visiting. Great pizza, have to say one of the best I've had (even compared to the the stone oven pizzas in Sicily). Definitely 5 stars.

Really good Italian food. Pizza, pasta and salad were very tasty. But the ne plus ultra is Nando, the host, together with his wife. As soon as you cross the threshold, you feel like you're right there with friends. And that even though it was our first time there. Children are really very welcome. Excellent service, good cuisine, practical ambience. We'll definitely be back!

We celebrated our company Christmas party among colleagues here after we were able to get a free date at short notice. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely, cozy evening 😊 The small side salad, the Parma pizza and the tiramisu were very tasty (unfortunately we forgot to take the photos because we were so hungry)! The grappa & limoncello on the house were really good. Very friendly operator couple. The sanitary rooms are a bit old, but were not included in the evaluation.

Sehr nette Bedienung, tolle Salatsoße, aber sehr überschaubare Portionen zu hohen Preisen. Putenbrust mit Gemüse mit Salat und einem Glas Wein für 28,- und danach noch Hunger und Lust auf einen Döner. :-/
