Although "La Mozzarella" isn't exactly around the corner from us, it's definitely worth the longer drive. The outdoor area is simple, but adequate. Inside, everything has a very Italian feel and is cozy at the same time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is always exceptionally delicious. Despite the slightly higher price range, it's highly recommended. I'm already looking forward to my birthday, because we'll be eating there again then.

Unfortunately, I had two negative experiences with this restaurant. 1. I have many intolerances and allergies, and I can't eat a lot of things. I asked for changes, which I received. But when you're already punished enough by allergies and intolerances, you don't need another rude comment. After I placed my order with the changes, my husband placed his order. No changes. The waiter then said, "Great, thank you, that's the kind of customer I want, no changes." And then he shook my husband's hand. It's outrageous to lash out at me like that and then punish me on top of my problems, which are beyond my control. I'm 61 years old and have had to make changes in many restaurants, not to mention hundreds. But something like this has never happened to me. The service doesn't deserve a star in my opinion. That's beneath contempt. 2. Finally, the bill: We were two couples and both wanted to pay by card. We listed what we had, were shown the amount, and then each of us was billed by card. I then had the exact bill printed out afterward, as the amount seemed a bit too high. And lo and behold, there was one wheat beer too many on it. Well, things like that happen. But the waiter split that one beer between both couples from the start. He added €2.20 to our friends and €3.00 to us. So he must have known that this beer was too much on the bill. I don't want to assume it was intentional, but it's very strange. I can only recommend everyone to always print out the exact receipt. And I recommend that anyone with allergies or intolerances avoid this restaurant. Too bad. The food was good, but these two things really annoyed me. I won't go back.

Mozarella is a restaurant serving Italian food. The ambiance is excellent, with the newly designed outdoor area being particularly impressive. It used to be a brick hut, so the rooms are spacious. There's plenty of space and distance. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined. It's still good, but the trend is downward. The staff is very good. However, one of them was too loud and often insistent, suggesting that their recommendations were more about the owner than the customer. It's one of Weinheim's best restaurants, which casts a rather sad light on the local cuisine.

We were a group of 6. The service was quite fast, and we quickly received our drinks and a baguette with olives to start with. Our food orders were also taken promptly. After 45 minutes, we were asked again about two dishes. After almost an hour, 5 of the 6 dishes arrived at the table. One person received the wrong meal. Instead of apologizing, they made fun of it. The other 5 then waited almost 15 minutes for the last dish, so their food was almost cold by then. We would have appreciated an apology or something on the house and overlooked it, but that was it for us. The food was actually quite good.

The restaurant is definitely recommended. The ambiance is lovely, even though it's located right on the B3 highway. The main course was of the highest quality, and the tiramisu was a culinary highlight! Even though the menu is rather expensive, the food is worth the money.

Beautiful restaurant with lovingly prepared fish dishes.

Everything was excellent, slightly upscale Italian cuisine (it's different in Italy, of course). Some of the daily specials might be a bit more expensive than appropriate. Service was generally good and polite, though sometimes a bit slow when it came to drinks.

We recently had the opportunity to dine at La Mozzarella Restaurant, where we reserved a table for four people. When booking, we indicated that it was a special occasion, as we were celebrating a civil wedding. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the way this information was implemented. Although we had pointed this out when making the reservation, our table was neither decorated nor marked in any way. A simple "reserved" sign or a small decorative detail would have been enough to create a festive atmosphere. However, none of these were there, and even when we asked about it, we received no response. The expectations raised by the attractive online presence and positive reviews were not met in reality. The food was good except for a few minor issues. Conclusion: If you want to spend a special moment in style, you should look for an alternative.

In any case, the pizzas tasted good. I like crispy crust, but they're quite tough in the mouth. The dough probably didn't rise properly here.

The pizza didn't taste good. The steak was almost raw instead of cooked through. After complaining, the same piece came out, just cut up and fried again. The potatoes were removed from the second plate - I don't want to know where they were. With another order, the liver was served in two different pieces. One of them was inedible. The cutlery was forgotten after the starter. For the prices in this restaurant, you simply expect more... we waited almost 1.5 hours for the starter. After reading all the reviews, I unfortunately had to admit: it was a matter of luck.

Recommended with restrictions, A service person talked too much, which bothered me. After several requests to pay the bill, I had the feeling of being ignored. It was a waste of my time.

We were there again today for lunch, a ritual that we have maintained for many years. And the last few times we have unfortunately noticed a development for the worse. Today we chose the fish in lemon sauce, with potatoes and vegetables. Neither of us were satisfied. The taste of the food was boring and bland, the sauce was heavy and moonshine-heavy. School grade 4+. We very much regret this development, as we have enjoyed coming here to eat for a long time and have often eaten really well. Today we decided not to visit Mozza again in the future. It's a shame, it's really a shame!!!

Very Disappointed. We had a table reserved for Valentines. We were seated in a corner by the bar and entrance, not in the main restaurant. There was a couple with a young child just leaving, and then we were the only customers there. We had to ask for a wine menu, and then we were left...... People constantly came in to order, pay for, and collect takeaways, these customer's were served quickly. The waiters were shouting from in front of the busy bar to the kitchen. It was not the romantic setting we had imagined. After 20 minutes of being ignored, a man came in to order a takeaway, the waiter went through the menu with him and took his order, seated him in front of us and gave him a drink. Then walked away! We got up and put on our coats to leave. The waiter even said Thank you and Goodbye before he realised we had not even had a drink!! Then he asked why we were leaving?!! I was so angry and upset, not to mention embarrassed 😳 I have never been treated this way in a restaurant, and it completely ruined what should have been a romantic evening. AVOID.

Be careful at La Mozzarella: huge disappointment with the New Year's Eve menu, plus an unlawfully incorrect invoice! We ordered the New Year's Eve menu based on the written offer (see photo) for three people at EUR 99.50 each. After the two fish dishes were served, we noticed that they weren't DUETTO at all. The king prawn “Royal” with sole coating and the champagne cream, as listed in the Pesce menu (see photo of the fish dish), were missing. We complained about the case and had to wait about half an hour for the missing parts of the fish dish. This meant that the third person ate the meat dish alone, which was also very annoying. When the Duetto was finally re-served, we unfortunately discovered that the king prawn coated in sole fillet didn't taste good at all and was actually inedible... the champagne sauce didn't taste like anything either. When I asked for the bill and wanted to pay, I noticed that the three glasses of Prosecco, which were included in the flat rate menu price of EUR 99.50, were charged separately again at 3 x 8.50 = EUR 25.50 (see photo invoice). When I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, she said that “she couldn’t change it” and “that’s what the boss decided”! I was then forced to adjust the illegal invoice amount, but pointed out that I would complain. After my written email complaint to the owner of La Mozzarella about the illegally charged Proseccos and the inferior fish dish, I heard nothing for a week. Only after my urgent reminder did I receive the transfer of the illegally calculated amount. To my greatest astonishment, I have not even received an apology in my emails to date for the unbelievable events at the New Year's Eve menu and for the - apparently deliberately carried out - unlawful false invoicing with fraudulent relevance, which is why I cannot recommend the restaurant. By the way: The beginning and end of the restaurant receipt show more than clearly that La Mozzarella apparently also deals with illiterate people...

Wir hatten das Silvester-Menü aufgrund des schriftlichen Angebots (siehe Foto) für drei Personen zu jeweils 99,50 EUR bestellt. Nachdem die zwei Fischgerichte serviert waren, bemerkten wir, dass es gar keine DUETTO waren. Es fehlten die Riesengarnele „Royal“ mit Seezungenmantel und die Champagnercreme, wie es in dem Menü Pesce aufgeführt war (siehe Foto Fischgericht). Wir reklamierten den Fall und mußten etwa ½ Stunde auf die fehlenden Teile des Fischgerichts warten. Die dritte Person speiste dadurch das Fleischgericht alleine, was auch sehr ärgerlich war. Als das Duetto endlich neu serviert wurde, stellten wir leider fest, dass die mit Seezungenfilet ummantelte Riesengarnele überhaupt nicht mundete und eigentlich ungenießbar war… die Champagnersauce schmeckte auch nach gar nichts. Als ich um die Rechnung bat und bezahlen wollte, bemerkte ich, dass die drei Gläser Prosecco, die ja in dem pauschalen Menüpreis von 99,50 EUR enthalten waren, separat nochmal mit 3 x 8,50 = 25,50 EUR berechnet waren (siehe Foto Rechnung). Als ich die Bedienungskraft auf den Fehler hinwies, hieß es, „das könne sie nicht ändern“ und „das habe der Chef so entschieden“! Daraufhin regulierte ich gezwungenermaßen den unrechtmäßigen Rechnungsbetrag, wies aber darauf hin, dass ich mich beschweren werde. Auf meine schriftliche email Beschwerde bei dem Inhaber von La Mozzarella über die unrechtmäßig kassierten Proseccos mit betrügerischer Relevanz und das minderwertige Fischgericht hörte ich eine Woche lang gar nichts. Erst nach meiner nochmaligen dringenden Erinnerung erhielt ich die Überweisung des unrechtmäßig berechneten Betrages. Zu meiner größten Verwunderung erhielt ich auf meine emails aber bis heute noch nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung für die unglaublichen Vorkommnisse bei dem Silvester-Menü und wegen der - offenbar bewusst durchgeführten - unrechtmäßigen falschen Rechnungsstellung, weswegen ich das Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen werde. Nebenbei bemerkt: Anfang und Ende des Restaurantbelegs zeigen mehr als deutlich, dass man es bei La Mozzarella anscheinend auch noch mit Analphabeten zu tun hat…

Great food, very tasty..and super nice attentive service..simply TOP..

In addition to the friendly service, the great atmosphere and the cozy I ate the best seafood salad of my life there. The ingredients were so fresh that it even surpassed my experiences with fresh fish in southern countries and the preparation was so balanced that it supported the natural taste.

A treat for the whole family Our visit to La Mozzarella was an all around wonderful experience! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent, especially the child-friendliness. Our sons were given art supplies and were given a lot of attention. The waiter was lively, incredibly friendly and accommodating. When one of our sons told him how much he enjoyed the olive pesto, he even offered to give him some to take home. This warmth is rare! The food was of the highest quality. Particularly worth mentioning were the fresh sea bream, perfectly prepared and simply unique - as well as the delicious Catalan-style prawns. All dishes were prepared with high-quality ingredients, which was clearly reflected in the taste. The prices are correspondingly high. Once again, la Mozzarella impressed us not only with its culinary aspects, but also with its personal touch and attention to detail. We'll definitely be back!

The disappointment is great! A total of five of us ate at La Mozzarella today. Two drinks and one main course were overcharged on the bill. In addition, a dish was shown on the menu as €28, but the bill showed it as €30.50. In total, €40 was overcharged. Since we had already been warned several times by various people that this often happened here, we took a closer look at the bill. Keller's excuse was that the cash register system is new. This is just a rip off!

Been there at lunchtime, waited 45 minutes for pizza, 1 bottle of water was overly expensive. The service was unfriendly and snippy. I've never experienced that before. So never go there again.

The restaurant has a large selection of pizzas, salads and pasta dishes. The food was good, the service was friendly. Nevertheless, there are only 3 stars because the pasta dish was significantly too expensive for a price of over 20 euros and at the same time the portion was too small. We were there once to order test food for a birthday. The first time everything was fine, the rump steak was as requested and the waiter was friendly. But this time I was very disappointed with the waiter because after a bill of 192.00 euros I gave him 200.00 euros. I wanted to get something else out of my wallet, then I was told you can add a tip of 20-30 euros. That left me speechless because I had previously called for payment three times. It was my birthday, there were three of us and everyone had a good main course, but something like that ruins going there again. I also know that the recommendations are on a board, I had to ask twice what was available, not good. Besides, I don't just go to a place like this to eat pizza, I want to eat something extraordinary. It is questionable whether we will go there again!! At these prices the staff should also pay attention to etiquette.

2021: Since the change of ownership, the dishes - we have been there many times - are very good and tasty. The pizzas are well topped but the other dishes also taste very good. The Italian salad could have been enriched a little more with a spicier salad dressing but still good. Addendum 07/24: The food is still very good, as is the service and operation, but the prices have gradually been increased due to the new change of ownership after Corona times, so that the price-performance ratio is in my opinion at the upper limit has been reached or exceeded. That's borderline when pizzas cost between around 10 and 17, - you can see the price development from year to year. Of course, you can also see this in other high-priced restaurants, which are still in the price segment. Therefore only 4 stars.

Super delicious food and nice staff!

Been here for a long time just to eat ice cream. When I asked, I was told that there was no longer any special ice cream sales. However, we could sit in the garden and order a few scoops of ice cream. After no one came to serve us, I went back in and placed the order. Unfortunately, the service staff were only busy serving a large table with many people and didn't pay any attention to us. The ice cream never arrived...so we decided to leave after half an hour. Unfortunately, no one informed us in advance that there could be problems filling 2x2 scoops of ice cream into a cup and serving it... It's a shame, service is virtually non-existent and a few scoops of ice cream don't bring in enough money, so it's better not to serve people at all and punish them with disrespect... It's a shame, I'll never come here again...

The waiter was very surprised that we complained, but we were not offered any compensation. We noticed that other guests also complained about the pizza. Creative descriptions and high prices suggest quality, but it doesn't exist. Instead, pizza like at Dr O. The price-performance ratio is not right here.

I expressed my concerns to the waiter when paying, but they didn't respond to them. After all, almost €300 was left there. Since it takes us 40 minutes. We won't be coming back and I'm withdrawing my previous review. First visit: We came across this restaurant by chance after visiting Miramar. A beautiful restaurant, lovingly furnished, atmospheric lighting and beautiful seats. The food was excellent! It was super tasty and high quality. I would have liked the portions to be a little larger, otherwise nothing to complain about. The staff, professional appearance, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
