Good restaurant on the small Müggelsee. The food tastes very good and is also appetizingly prepared. In summer it is of course particularly beautiful outside on the terrace by the water. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get a parking space when the weather is nice.

The location is of course perfect, the food is good, not a top Italian but still reasonable, the price is a bit too high but you're probably paying for the location. Unfortunately the staff is quite snippy and assertive because you can't really feel the familiar friendly Italian charm. It's a shame because The impression was that there wasn't much to do and they could have taken more care of the guests, so it probably remains a unique experience - there are still many restaurants on the lake

The lasagne was very good. Garnished with rocket, tomato pieces and shaved Parmesan. If it weren't for the boat docks, you would have a great, unobstructed view of the water. At least you sit by the water. 👍🏻

I used to absolutely love the restaurant. Unfortunately, things are different today. For some internal reason, the same staff as before has changed. They are no longer as friendly and accommodating as they were back then. Too bad. I hope better times come again.

The food was great but the service left a lot to be desired. This means that I can't rate the ambience as positively in this context. It is not acceptable for a waiter to behave disrespectfully towards customers. And the fact that people are ignoring the recession is more than telling.

We visited the restaurant on September 7th, 2024 with the intention of having something to eat there. Since we were at the beach beforehand, we still had leftover paper that we wanted to dispose of. We asked a young restaurant employee where a trash can was located. The employee acted like he didn't understand our language. My friend then spoke to him in English, which he probably didn't want to understand or couldn't understand. We then entered the restaurant and took a seat at a table. Mind you, the table had “not” been marked as reserved. Suddenly a second employee appeared and told us that the table was reserved. But in a tone that absolutely doesn't work. We were then assigned another table. However, the waiter, an older employee, was very confident and polite so that at least the ordering of the food went smoothly. The food was delicious and the price was also acceptable.

We still knew this place, it used to be Café L&B. So try again. Ordering a table by phone worked well. It was a good thing because it was very full. The restaurant is located on the small Müggelsee, but I only saw large rental boats in front of me and every now and then there was a smell of gasoline. We were probably sitting very awkwardly because people from the rental office were constantly walking around us. The waiters were probably a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests, as it took a while to order and the antipasta starter only came during our main meal. The food was plentiful but sober and cold and the pork fillet was probably not. A wine list will only be available upon request in the fall and now only in glasses. So, objectively speaking, we were disappointed. We can only recommend the restaurant next door: Neu Heligoland!

Nothing remains of the former charm of the cheerful and relaxed Italian, which we very much regret. No hello or good afternoon on arrival. To place an order you have to make an active effort, no friendly gesture, no asking if you liked it, no thank you. Actually, as a guest you are just a nuisance there. The prices are a bit more moderate again, but not every meal was good. The carpaccio with chanterelles was delicious, the spaghetti Alio Olio was poorly and carelessly prepared despite the request for "extra spicy", and the antipasti plate was only half full. As always, it was well attended from 7 p.m., and at 6 p.m. you could get a seat even without a reservation. Unfortunately, the view is mostly blocked by boats, which the restaurant can't do anything about. The biggest drawback is the service and the changing quality of the food.

Great service delicious pizza Parma

It's a lovely place to sit right on the water (albeit with a direct view of party boats) and the service is quick and friendly. However, the dishes were all rubbish. Portions are very generous, but the taste can be improved. At least it wasn't too expensive.

The food was delicious but it took them 20 minutes (literally) to take my order, even though I waved at the waiter multiple times and I was even assured 10 minutes in that a waiter was already coming to me. They also refused to seat a lady who had her bike with her (she didn't want to leave it on the street because she didn't have a lock) even though there was plenty of room on the terrace.

We came here twice this weekend and were very impressed. We have rarely experienced such great value for money and in this location. Since we were always on foot, we didn't need a parking space - perhaps the only challenge. 100% recommendation.

Shameless & so unfriendly, I'm horrified! I, a young woman, ALONE, pushed my bike into the entrance area to ask if there was space (large terrace, half-empty!) and before even saying hello I was yelled at "Get out of the bike! No bike here!". I asked what I could do because I was very hungry and without a lock and was waved out with a shake of the head. Not a hint of a helping gesture or suggestion for a solution, really the lowest level. My tip: the boat rental shop next door has a snack bar and places to go to the water, they welcomed me with open arms, that's what I call humane!

Don’t waste your time here. Despite the Italian name, pizza is quite bad here.

I had Pizza Tonno, it was okay but not exceptional. Very nice in summer for a bit of holiday feeling by the water. The service is nice, but you have to give it some time... 😉 But the price-performance ratio is very good!

I had a spontaneous meal here with my 4 friends last Saturday. We hadn't made a reservation and even though it was lunchtime we were immediately given a great place by the water. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. 3 of us had the salad with veal liver and chanterelles. Price/performance was great. The plate was also beautifully prepared, great The eye is just with. Thank you for the nice break in your restaurant

I can really spend some time here. Located directly on the small Müggelsee, you can watch the colorful hustle and bustle on the lake. Since there is a boat rental right in front of the terrace, there is always something to see. On not so hot days, it's easier to find a parking space right in front of the door. You can sit here either inside or outside, although in summer the terrace invites you to linger. The staff is mostly very friendly and the service was always quite quick. Unfortunately, even after being away for a while, the food is still not my cup of tea, so I can only rate it as okay, although it is really nicely prepared. And it wasn't just me. But there are at least three children's meals. What irritated me is the fact that the Italian restaurant doesn't have normal ice cream for dessert. I think a lot of sales are lost here. Unfortunately there is no website or menu online, so just look at the menu directly on site. For larger groups it is definitely advisable to make a reservation, as it always seems to be busy in the evening.

We have eaten in this restaurant several times after a boat tour, the last time being 2 years ago. Unfortunately, everything has deteriorated significantly: taste, service and cleanliness were not what they used to be. 1) We had to wait an extremely long time until we were served. The table next to us arrived later and was served sooner. The drinks and starters were already there until the waiter came to our table. 2) Orders were not implemented as desired. I specially ordered a salad without onions and got it with onions. A friend ordered fries and received potato wedges. 3) And a black beer was put there, which we hadn't ordered. We told the waiter that directly, he took it away and yet it was on our bill and we had to pay for it. Since you are not shown an invoice and are only supposed to pay by card, we unfortunately only noticed this later. 4) The glasses brought for the water were unfortunately dirty and the plates for the bread were also not clean. 5) The food was ok, but nothing special. The bread for the starter, for example, was very dry. 6) Unfortunately, the service was not as desired. On the one hand, the waiter was unfriendly: first the drinks and then the food seems to be an important process. But you can also say that in a friendly way. We didn't receive any extra pepper (like the table next door), we weren't asked if it was tasty, only part was cleared away and then no one came to see us anymore. That means we couldn't reorder anything or order the invoice. I had to specifically call the waiter to the table. 7) Yes, the toilets are also used by boat guests. But they also pay €1 for this, so as a restaurant guest I would like to be able to find a clean toilet in the evening. 8) The restaurant can't do anything about that, but actually you always park wrong there and get a ticket from the public order office. Unfortunately we were very, very disappointed and will eat somewhere else after a boat tour in the future.

Wanted to eat ice cream and drink coffee. Iced coffee was forgotten, came when asked. There was no ice cream at all. Wasn't busy, so no stress for the waiters. Never again.

If you prefer quantity over quality, this is the restaurant for you. But you couldn't expect quality from the various dishes. But the service wasn't particularly great either. Mediocre.

We were there as a family, four of us, for my 60th birthday because I really wanted to go to a restaurant by the water. - And the location is really beautiful too!! After 5 minutes the waiter came with a high chair for my granddaughter. Then after a few minutes he came back and asked for the order. My "I'd like some Gnocchi Gorgonzola" was met with a barked "drinks first" (hmph... that's how you like to let your mouth run wild) After a while he came back with the food... but instead of the Tonno pizza he ordered, with a Parma pizza. When we objected to this, all we got was a (not very friendly, disbelieving-sounding) snort and he reluctantly took the wrong pizza back with him. (I didn't see a smile or hear a friendly word from the man all evening! ;( ) The food: My gnocchi Gorgonzola was extremely tasty, as was the glass of Montepulciano, I was very lucky. My daughter's spaghetti carbonara was also delicious, but unfortunately only lukewarm. The late pizza Tonno was ok, not bad but nothing special either. My son-in-law's spaghetti was probably delicious too... only he discovered some extremely disgusting detail on a leaf of arugula that was used as decoration: about 0.5-1 cm long... and round... like tiny eggs *devil knows what*? We had no idea what exactly that was. Even the super waiter couldn't do anything with it when it was shown to him (without accusations, without drama, just with "take a look here..") - no explanation, no apology, his only reaction was to ask if my sister wanted to eat some more and then quickly disappear with the plate. Of course, you were still charged in the end. But we only found out by adding things up ourselves... Because, strangely enough, we didn't get a bill (when paying by card). Normally we would have reacted more harshly at some points, but we just wanted to have a nice birthday meal. It's a shame, it's a shame... Super nice surroundings, my food was great, the rest could be improved - the service/the waiter was a complete failure.

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointed with the restaurant. During heavy rain and thunderstorms, we were not given shelter. You wear clothing in the restaurant, and not bathing suits or towels, which is understandable in normal weather conditions. You lose your good faith when the dress code is more important than the safety of people who flee from the water to the mainland to find shelter and escape the storm. I can't say anything about the food, nice atmosphere by the water, I certainly won't try the service twice!

It's a shame to have to write that the best thing was the drinks. The reaction to my orders was also subterranean. The waiter said that he always had his hands full, so he would not have been able to bring the additional bread or plates that were ordered. This apparently also prevented him from asking during the meal or afterwards whether we were at all satisfied. The bill was slammed on the table, that was it. Unfortunately for us too, we'll definitely find a restaurant alternative. Previous entry: The free drinks were also included on the bill. It's a shame, otherwise it was an experience.

I haven't had such a bad Italian meal in a long time. Service was quick, drinks came, the appetizer came. And shortly afterwards came the main course. We hadn't finished our starter yet, we had just started and then the main course arrived. We had no opportunity to intervene. I had spaghetti aglio olio, there were half cloves of garlic that were not allowed to simmer in oil beforehand, but there was endless chopped tomatoes and tomatoes pickled in oil. I thought the dish was called Aglio Olio. My husband chose the fried liver. The food was swimming in sauce, as was the salad. The vegetables were completely overcooked and a piece of liver was the proverbial sole of a shoe. As we were clearing away the waiter asked if we liked it. We have subtly pointed out the above points. No reaction at all. It's a shame because the location is nice. We won't bring our money here anymore.

We were there last Saturday (May 4th, 2024). The service was terrible, rude and unprofessional but the food was ok but not that well organized in terms of presentation. You should realize that people come here to spend time with friends and family so as not to see their stressful attitude towards guests.

Rude staff... We ask to go to the toilet, it's 1€ per person. We ask to take takeaway drinks to consume, and this is not possible at all because they are only glass bottles and they don't trust us. No desire to please customers, it's a shame in such a beautiful place.

Were there on a Sunday when the weather was beautiful. Of course it was very full, but we were glad there were still free seats on the terrace. There is a beautiful, large terrace and you sit directly on the small Müggelsee. Very, very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service wasn't that great. I can forgive it, with 27 degrees on a Sunday and a full house. The prices were very moderate. After the main course we were no longer noticed at all, we sat in front of our empty plates and glasses for half an hour. It wasn't cleared away and we weren't asked if we wanted to order anything else. We actually wanted to order drinks and desserts, but then decided to pay and go eat ice cream somewhere else.

We were there for a birthday dinner🎂 and were warmly welcomed. I couldn't decide between 2 meals and asked the waiter for advice. His honest words helped me a lot. All meals were beautifully presented and decorated. After all, the eye eats too. Also super tasty 😋. At the end there was a birthday dessert plate on the house. Everything from tiramisu to chocolate cakes. We found the evening a success and will definitely go there again. Thank you for the great service.

We were there this evening with 15 people from the sports club for a slightly to medium late New Year's party and it was just great. Nice service, delicious food and all at great prices. I'd love to come back sometime. Wish you a nice evening and all the best!

We've been there a few times and are always thrilled. The slightly longer journey is worth it, especially in summer but also in winter. The food is always very good and the service excellent. We recommend the mixed antipasti platter. This is a very nice appetizer for two to three people. The mussels are also particularly good. We'd love to come back.

Gemütliches Lokal direkt am Müggelsee mit super netter Bedienung. Das Essen dort war sehr lecker. Die Fischsuppe (die beste die ich bisher gegessen hab) ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Auch der Zander war ein Gaumenschmauß. Sind wir wieder mal in der Nähe ist ein Besuch im Trattoria Di Mare Pflicht!!! Ich sag schon mal " dann bis zum nächsten Ma(h)l "

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und Essen war lecker, Preis-Leistung war ok. Der Aperol könnte weniger wässrig sein, aber wirklich einziger Kritikpunkt.

Eigentlich sehr versteckt aber ein Geheimtipp für viele.tolles Essen und ein Blick dazu aufs Wasser.

Absolute Frechheit. Meine Partnerin und ich haben zu 21:30 Uhr reserviert. Als wir nach einer halbstündigen Anreise pünktlich vor Ort waren, war das Restaurant schon geschlossen. Das übrig gebliebene Küchenpersonal schilderte, dass der Chef das Restaurant an diesem Tag um 21:00 Uhr schließen lies. Schade, dass man uns nicht informiert hat. Besonders vor dem Hintergrund, dass man zu dieser Tageszeit schwer eine Alternative findet. Das war das letzte mal, dass wir da waren. Früher haben wir bessere Erfahrungen dort gemacht.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 21:30 Uhr bestellt, sind knapp 30 Minuten zum Restaurant gefahren und hatten uns schon sehr auf das Essen gefreut. Angekommen, mussten wir feststellen, dass das Restaurant geschlossen hat und nur noch das Personal da war. Angerufen hat und niemand! Wir standen da mit leeren Magen, haben Sprit verbraucht und waren sehr traurig darüber, dass wir nicht darüber informiert wurden und man unsere Reservierung einfach ignoriert hat. Das war unser letzter Besuch. Sehr schade!

Eine schöne Trattoria direkt am See. Der Salat war frisch und ganz ok, Pizza mista gar nicht besonders, dafür aber super freundlicher Service.

Geschmacklich einwandfrei, Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam, schöne Lage direkt am Wasser........Fazit: immerwieder gerne:)
