The service seemed strained and we had to wait a long time for our food. The lunch menu is reasonably priced.

This is the first restaurant in Berlin that has impressed me with its excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine at a fair price.

The food was absolutely delicious, and many thanks to dear Bernardo for taking such great care of us. We will definitely come back.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Berlin and serves delicious pasta and pizza. Bernardo's service was very pleasant and friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly return on our next visit to Berlin.

Unfortunately, our visit was a complete disaster. We arrived with my wife and two children; half the restaurant was empty, and the terrace was completely deserted. Despite this, the staff member treated us in an unbelievable way: unfriendly, dismissive, taciturn, and simply arrogant. Without any explanation, we were told there was "no space available"—even though we could see with our own eyes that this wasn't true. I have rarely experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful service in a restaurant. Anyone who treats their guests like this shouldn't be surprised by bad reviews. Definitely never again and absolutely not recommended.

Bernardo guided us through the evening with charm and expertise. Although we hadn't made a reservation, he found a table for us. The food was excellent and plentiful. The wine, a solid Montepulciano in 0.25 liters, which isn't always a given these days. To finish, we were offered a wonderfully lemony and not overly sweet limoncello on the house. All in all, a very successful dinner at an Italian restaurant.

A very friendly welcome. The place is quiet and the service is quick. The pizza and pasta weren't to everyone's taste, but I really enjoyed my lemon escalope. It was a lovely time, ending with a deliciously decadent tiramisu!

The food was delicious. A highlight was the children's pizza, which was shaped like a rabbit and tasted really good. The service was fast, and our waiter, Bernardo, was very friendly and accommodating. We felt completely at home.

We received a very friendly welcome from Bernato. In Italy, it's customary to order side dishes separately from the main course. This restaurant also follows this concept. Bernato was very accommodating and provided excellent service. The dishes were delicious, although I personally felt that the spinach had too much garlic.

Ristorante Marea, centrally located on Leipziger Platz, offers many Italian classics at reasonable prices. The Insalata di Mare was very spicy and delicious, and the Montepulciano was full-bodied and at just the right temperature. Bernardo's excellent and extremely friendly service deserves special mention; he even accommodated special requests and always kept an eye on things despite the large number of guests.

We had pizza Margherita, pizza salami, and spaghetti carbonara. The pizzas were excellent, and the spaghetti was by far the BEST spaghetti carbonara I've ever eaten. The staff was very friendly. The wait was very short. If I ever come back to Berlin, I'll definitely plan on visiting here again.

I made a reservation based on the good reviews. The service was courteous and attentive – thank you very much. But neither the wine nor the pizza were truly convincing. Everything was good, but nothing more. Unfortunately, due to the weather, only indoor seating is possible. The semicircular, bare room is rather noisy. But honestly, I could have saved myself the reservation. Several guests arrived after me, and everyone was seated better. Okay, difficult as a single guest, I understand that. But the guests I was talking to were only two of them and left much earlier (so they consumed less). For a total of just under €50 (plus tip), it was a poor experience. And my gut feeling tells me that the (new?) boss is causing trouble here. If you have to repeatedly point out your unlimited decision-making power in front of guests, then something is wrong.

Today we had to wait over 30 minutes without receiving proper service at our table in the patio. The waitress assigned to us kept walking by but never took our order or even brought the basics to start with. This experience reflects very poor service and left us with a very negative impression. We hope management can take action to improve customer service

We ate at Marea twice during our stay in Berlin – and that really says it all. The food was absolutely outstanding each time: fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. We particularly want to highlight the service – presumably run by the owner himself. A true Italian who treats his guests with passion, attentiveness, and impeccable service. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. A restaurant that we can wholeheartedly recommend – we'll definitely be back!

Food took a really long time and the margarita pizza was just cheese pizza. Terrible.. felt like it would be the same as at some gas station. The salad also was not good. In general, the service was so surprisingly bad. We waited like 30 min just for bread.

The four of us had lunch at Marea today. Our waiter, Leo, was very attentive and courteous. The food was delicious and lovingly presented. The location is quiet, which we appreciated.

Delicious pasta for less than 15 euros. the pesto gnocchi was great! The portions are quite big and the staff is friendly. They have an outdoor sitting area right next to Berlin mall it’s perfect.

The salad wasn't good and too expensive. The restroom was dirty.
