I can only recommend Zio, nice service and the food was and is always delicious!! To all the complainers, I would like to see you when the place is humming, more understanding, there are lovely people at work here!!!!!!

The lunch specials are unbeatable: outstanding value for money! I haven't tried the pizza yet (but it looks very good), the pasta is excellent. That's how it works!

Wonderful food in a lovely atmosphere. We were greeted incredibly friendly and warmly and this feel-good atmosphere lasted throughout the entire evening. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back.

Delicious food, super friendly staff and great ambience

Our first choice for a beautiful, relaxed and culinary evening for over 10 years. Zio and his team are great and loving (and at the same time highly professional) hosts. Wonderful pizza and pasta in a happy and friendly atmosphere.

It's like a vacation, especially now with the new winter garden. The food is still very good. The price-performance ratio is also great!!!!!!!!!!

We were there at lunchtime with 12 people, the restaurant was packed (that speaks for itself), the food and service were great, the food came at the same time, and the sanitary facilities were also clean and attractive. Only the boss was quite rude to our waitress a thing for which she was not responsible at all. She had collected money at the table - as requested by the boss - but unfortunately two people in our group were standing somewhat awkwardly in the way in front of the counter Walk out so the boss thought they wanted to pay at the counter. We felt sorry for the service.

Went there for dinner with a small group. The restaurant itself is quite nice. I think the tables are quite small, but good, you want to create space in the small shop. Unfortunately, it is so loud that you can hardly hear yourself anymore. The background noise was almost unbearable. The price of the food was ok, not expensive and not cheap. Unfortunately, my pasta carbonara wasn't such a hit, due to the bacon. You should maybe take 2-3€ more and then also take a guanciale (it would improve the taste of the pasta enormously). Unfortunately, I wouldn't come again as there are much better Italian cuisines in Düsseldorf.

Pizzeria DA ZIO. A fantastic restaurant that I have known since I started school. They have many different dishes. So there is something for every taste. I can recommend that you get a delicious ice cream sundae after your meal here.

27 10 2024 ate delicious lasagna, drank a few wines and a few beers. It was a nice atmosphere, nice but hurried service...worth repeating.

We have been ordering for pickup for a long time. The food is still very tasty, but unfortunately the portions were so small that no one was full. Seven ravioli and the other pastas extremely small. That's a shame because the staff is also very nice :(

The restaurant has a top price-performance ratio. The selection of food is plentiful and also very tasty. We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. I can only recommend Da Zio without a guilty conscience.

The carbonara was really not tasty at all, sorry. I'm never really picky, but that made my stomach rumble. Unfortunately the pizza bread was already cold. The bruschetta & pizza were ok. But I've eaten better ones. Sitting outside is definitely worth it, despite the fact that the restaurant is on a main street. Afterwards, take some ice cream with you from the neighboring ice cream parlor👌🏾

Very authentic Italian food and ambience. It was right next to our hotel and was noticed because of the long opening hours, which was very accommodating to us. Service was good and there was a lot going on.

The food was okay, not great, but very cheap. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food (which has also been mentioned in some other reviews). The staff is very friendly. The most beautiful thing is the large outdoor area.

Unfortunately, I can't understand any of the recessions. The outside area is nice. The prices are reasonable.

That evening we spontaneously decided to take a walk and happened to stop here to have something to eat. The reviews weren't bad. The biggest mistake we could have made... The staff was listless and rude... They clear the previous guests' glasses from the table, but leave the full ashtray, the table is left uncleaned, and we are given the menus without that we are even welcomed. The order is taken while the waiter looks around and doesn't speak to us directly. The pizza was of poor quality, the ingredients were of minimal quality and the dough was substandard. We asked to pay, the waiters walk around without doing anything but we wait 30 minutes. Not recommended. Questa sera abbiamo decide di fare una passeggiata e ci siamo fermati per caso a mangiare qui. My favorite pizzeria! I've tried spaghetti carbonara, lasagna and various pizzas. It was always very tasty. Most of the time we order for delivery or takeout. Then we had dinner in the restaurant and it was incredible! The staff is always very friendly and doesn't seem stressed, the food is still served quickly to a full house and the ambience is also nice. We never pay more than €20 for two dishes. The price is also fully within the framework for this food and this service. ❤️

Good location for a quick business lunch, €10 for pasta/pizza, salad and drink is a very fair price. The service is quick and friendly. In summer you can sit comfortably outside at numerous tables under large umbrellas.

What could be nicer than eating a delicious spaghetti carbonara on a hot summer evening. I can't think of anything better, the food came quickly and the service was great, that's how it should be everywhere.

A super nice restaurant with a great flair and a pleasant, almost Mediterranean atmosphere. We sat outside in nice weather and it almost felt like we were on holiday. We waited an hour for our starters. Then one was wrong. The pizza had a black crust. The ice cream has frost particles, not really creamy. We were disappointed. The terrace looks so beautiful. 😔

No recommendation for ordering, the wait was too long, 60-70 minutes, and the food arrived cold. Cold pizza, warm lasagana.

The food is very tasty there but what's not possible is when I ask before ordering whether I can pay by card and this is confirmed and then when I want to pay I'm told by another waiter that card payment is not possible. And the change wasn't given out correctly either, but my nerves were already on edge

Das Personal ist sympathisch, ich fühle mich hier gut aufgehoben. Winterupdate: Auch in den kalten Tagen hervorragend geeignet, um sich im Café einen Kaffee und eine Waffel mit heißen Kirschen zum angemessenen Preis zu gönnen.

DA ZIO ist einer der besten Lokalitäten in Düsseldorf. Die Gerichte sind von einem hohen Niveau zu einem bürgerlichen Preis. Die gesamten Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam höflich und hilfsbereit. Die außer Haus kann ich auch nur empfehlen. Ich kann nur sagen, „ auf zum DA ZIO“

Einfach lächerlich. Pizza kam mit 30 min. Verspätung an, war KALT und bei einer kleinen Bestellung von zwei Pizzen wurden unsere Getränke auch noch vergessen und zunächst sogar berechnet, bis es meinem Mann aufgefallen ist. Das Bild spricht für sich…satt sind wir nicht geworden.

Nudel zu weich, Service schlecht und frech, Soße zum… nicht empfehlenswert 🤢

Das Essen war richtig gut.Ich habe die Leber gegessen,etwas was ich nicht üblicherweise beim Italiener esse und ich fand die Spitze. Etwas ungewöhnlich fand ich das unsere Getränke erst mit der Essensbestellung zusammen aufgenommen wurden und es deshalb etwas länger dauert,bis was zu Trinken an den Tisch kam. Das Restaurant an sich ,sticht nicht durch irgendetwas besonderes heraus.Ich denke das ist ein 90iger-Jahre Überbleibsel aber es ist definitiv nicht negativ zu werten. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, spätestens im Sommer um im Außenbereich zu essen, der sah super aus.

A friendly local Italian restaurant, very buzzy on a Saturday night. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Bread and dip, olives came as aperatif, and drinks and pizza were great size and well priced. Only issue was the pizzas that we both had were too salty, even though our toppings (different pizzas) were heavy in salt, the dough and sauce felt heavy on the salt side.

Sorry, wanted to give 5 but service was bad. Good and affordable menus with drink incl and bread with aioli. The free drink however never came even after 2 reminders. At the end the main Boss just said that we drank nevertheless the free water so shall be enough. Bit annoying attitude. Carbonara definitely not authentic. But kudos for the lunch menu nevertheless

War jetzt mehrmals im Da Zio. Einfach super Preis Leistung. Alles frisch und lecker zubereitet. Vor dem Essen warmes Brot mit Aioli und Oliven. Wir waren mit 5 Leuten da und hatten alle Pizza oder Pasta und eine Person hatte zusätzlich einen gemischten Salat plus ein Getränk jeder und ich habe KOMPLETT 55Euro bezahlt. Das ist in meinen Augen unschlagbar! Trotzdem keine "billige" Pizzeria, sondern ein echt gutes italienisches Restaurant. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Wir waren mit Freunden an einem Freitag Abend hier. Normale italienische Küche mit allem, was eine Pizzeria so im Normalfall anbietet. Wir hatten von Vorspeisen aus der Vitrine über Gambas in Öl und Vitello Tonato bis hin zu Pizza, Nudeln und Lammkoteletts diverses bestellt. Geschmacklich war es normal, nicht schlecht oder sonderlich gut. Draussen gibt es noch einige überdachte Tische. Also für mal zu einer Pizzeria ist es ok....
