Trattoria Da Remo in Berlin

What looked rather unassuming from the outside absolutely surprised us with its taste! A truly fantastic selection of dishes, from classic pizza to pasta made from a cheese wheel with fresh truffles. Absolutely delicious!

This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin!

We ordered a pizza to take away – it was delicious! Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer because it was very crowded.

High quality, good food served by a very experienced, not always attentive team. But the food deserved six stars.

Staff is nice but the pizzas were really disappointing. Pizza dough with a large edge and large bubbles is a matter of taste. I like it as long as there isn't too much black. In one case there was far too much black. And the bottom of both pizzas was burnt. It doesn't work at all!!! The dough itself tasted delicious, but what's the point if it's burnt? The amount of topping was okay (mushrooms) to good (spinach, gorgonzola), but the gorgonzola... Well, let's just say that if I buy gorgonzola, it tastes a lot better. Tomato sauce boring. Despite the above-average size of the pizzas, it is unfortunately poor overall value for money.

Service great, prices okay, furnishings cozy. Unfortunately, the pizza was very dry, it was missing tomato sauce, cheese and toppings. It's a shame because the dough wasn't bad. Just a little more sauce/cheese and it'll be fine.

Very nice atmosphere with reliable and courteous waiters. The dishes on the daily menu are recommended. Especially the dumplings with pear and goat cheese in red wine sauce. I still dream about this sauce. I ask for the recipe 🫶.

Very nice restaurant and delicious food

We went to this restaurant for the first time today. We are extremely satisfied. Very nice and attentive service. The food is prepared quickly and brought to the table, and the portions are huge. The staff is also very child-friendly. Atmosphere cozy and rustic, you immerse yourself in a little different world. Price-performance first-class. The food is fabulous. We will dine there more often now. 😍

What can I say, the typical little Italian on the corner, or in other words, the second living room. Because there is nothing else you can say about the warm and soothing warmth that greets you. The crew at "Da Remo" is extremely attentive, very hospitable, humorous, charming, caring and so much more. The food, sensational!!! Whether pizza, pasta, meat, fish, salad, every selection is a hit of delicious taste! I don't know why I didn't report earlier... I've been a guest here off and on for probably over 15 years. What is really advisable is to reserve a table in good time. Because no matter what day you want to visit the restaurant, it is always very busy. I was surprised after so many years living in the neighborhood, how good this spot really is. Three days before I was invited by a friend and tried the lasagna. But today I wanted to test the kitchen and ordered Lamb Filet and it was fantastic. Also the service was very good and friendly. I will keep visiting the Trattoria 🤗

Great food, special requests for allergies or intolerances are fulfilled without any problems. The staff is very charming, friendly and accommodating. The tiramisu is alcohol-free and very tasty like the other dishes. Delicious food at fair prices. The atmosphere is very cozy. I've been a regular at Da Remon for 13 months.

I would give one more star for this outstanding restaurant ♡! The food is fantastic, very well seasoned, lovingly prepared. The wines are perfectly chilled (by the way, one of the few Italians where the glass fogs up when the rosè or white wine is served)! And the wines have a moderate price. It is now also unique in Berlin. It's great to sit in the garden and it's also really nice inside. The service is also absolutely top...We come to da Remo with lots of friends and everyone is thrilled...keep it up...Ti Amo

We went to eat at Da Remo and ate the squid - unfortunately this gave us bad food poisoning, so I highly advise against eating fresh seafood at Da Remo! The salad and the bruschetta tasted delicious and the ambience was pleasant, but unfortunately the impressions afterwards were somewhat dampened by the food poisoning...

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere where you can sit outside in the summer. An excellent menu and friendly, courteous staff. Absolutely recommended.

It's nice to sit outside and the food tastes very good.

The salad with tuna, with house dressing made from vinegar and 0el, is the best in Berlin for salad enemies. My wife takes spaghetti with vegetables. Another 1/2 wine spritzer of Chardonnay and all is well with the world.

This team gives everything and, despite everything, tries to let everyone leave here with a happy stomach. And final drink😂 I don't think anyone is obliged to offer a final drink. Of course it's a shame that your first experience was so unsatisfactory, but believe me this store deserves a second chance :)

The antipasti were quite tasty, but the salad with chanterelles and chicken breast was so-so. You had to look for the chanterelles and the chicken breast was tough. But otherwise it was very nice there.

The food was good, but the sizes are too small for the price. The service was very good and the atmosphere is really nice.

Despite the high price, the spaghetti was not particularly delicious compared to other restaurants, and the portions of both were very small. But the pizza was okay.

5 Stars? Yes, everything is just right here. Great Terrace, shady or sunny, as you like it. You can also sit out rain showers there. Very attentive service. Portions are quite small, but the quality is top.

Very friendly service, very tasty food

Five of us went to da Remo for a family dinner last week and were warmly welcomed again. As always, the food was very tasty, we had pasta, various pizzas and meat dishes. The pasta with scampi is particularly recommended. We always enjoy going to da Remo because the ambience, service and quality of the food are simply incomparably good. We look forward to the next visit.

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant several times since 2022 because it is within walking distance for us and is open on Mondays. The quality of the food is ok, the cuisine is "typical German Italian", unfortunately not at all authentic. In terms of taste, the dishes are at best ok, not very imaginatively seasoned, sometimes too salty. Red wines were served 100% too warm, with whites it was 50:50. I advise against olive oil on the tables if you appreciate good olive oil. The service is not particularly attentive - I wouldn't say unfriendly, but also not friendly and certainly not warm, as you often experience with Italians. On a nice summer evening, my recommendation would be: remove all expectations of service, order a pizza that is ok and a cold beer and maybe be surprised by the acceptable service. It actually happened to us once ;-). Otherwise, go a corner further where there is authentic Italian cuisine and the best pizza in the world with very good service. The olive oil tastes good here too ;-)

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Berlin! The food tastes fantastic every time and is always fresh. The best thing, however, is the very courteous service and the warm atmosphere in the restaurant. You just feel like you're with friends.

We were very disappointed and felt like second class. There is no trace of Italian hospitality. It's not like we know it from our Italian restaurant. The terrace was almost empty, but we got the table at the entrance because apparently everything was reserved. That was a lie 🤥 Truffle pasta wasn't al dente and I didn't like it.

A pity. We won't be coming back again. I was here for the first time with my wife on Friday. We asked if we could sit on the terrace. Everything was free. They said yes, but only here at the entrance. Worst place. Guests arrived later. The waiter said.. "Oh how nice, you haven't been here for over a year, please choose the best seat". We then felt like third class guests. We eat out in restaurants up to twice a week. You can't win new regular guests this way. We weren't offered a final drink, even though we tipped well. A pity.

As a regular guest for years, I can't understand some of the recent bad criticism. It's always difficult to get a table without a reservation - I think that alone speaks for the good service that is provided here. And even if it's full, they'll always try to find a place - maybe it won't be your favorite place, but you'll still have a nice evening. Don't be put off and definitely try it out / advance reservation recommended 😉

Original Italian cuisine and service. We were served very well and I recommend the dishes on the daily menu. We ordered the truffle pasta made with the Parmesan wheel. The visit was simply sensational from start to finish. The dish is served at the table and is not only a spectacle for the eyes but above all for the palate.

We visited Ristorante Da Remo for the first time today. We are excited! The service is outstanding. The food was very good and we really enjoyed the evening. It's a good thing we don't live in Berlin, otherwise we would be regulars here! We recommend! 👌🏼
