Trattoria da Enzo DUE in Hamburg

An experience! We were there for the first time. We were there on a Friday evening, the conditions were very accommodating and the advice was excellent. The dishes were all on point!

Pleasant place for lunch, especially in summer on the terrace facing Großneumarkt. Food good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I've never been there in the evening.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. The only drawback was that there is a waiter who served very quickly and made a mistake in the dishes we ordered and in the payment. Still, everything was very delicious and worth it.

Everything fits: food, service, ambience. Nothing more is possible. Were there for the first time and were treated like regular guests. We'll be back!

Best italian food I had outside Italy period. Amazing place with amazing owners and Italian vibe, seriously recommend

The restaurant is absolutely not Italian, neither the food nor the people who work there. Very unfriendly service with an evil look and fake smile. The cards were quickly snatched out of the hand. I thought about ordering more, but I wasn't given the time to think about it. I don't want to go here again. Very unsympathetic and strange overall.

We were there again for a long time because we had friends visiting. We had, among other things, 2 x sea bream that were not cooked through. After a complaint they grilled it again. No excuse or anything like that because the side dishes of course got cold in the meantime. 2 x pasta very average and 2 x lasagne for the kids, which our kids didn't particularly like either. Tiramisu slapped cheerlessly into a glass and not tasty either. To make the experience complete, poor service and charged 3 EUR extra for bread and olives. It's nice to sit but the good old days are definitely over. A disappointed resident. NOT RECOMMENDED

We (party of six) passed the restaurant by chance, thought it looked nice and dropped in for dinner. It turned out to be a highlight of our Hamburg weekend. Busy but very attentive and friendly staff, fabulous food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike (try the ravioli in a sage-infused butter sauce). All in all, homely Italian cooking and atmosphere at its very best.

A very good Italian restaurant: typical Italian hospitality/warmth paired with delicious food. I have been here several times for company events. The staff manages to serve larger groups without any problems. Nobody has to wait long for their meal or drink.

As always, very fresh food. Pasta perfect to my taste. However, the salad with king prawns is not really recommended as you are prepared to only get two prawns. Otherwise excellent!

This restaurant thinks it has 5 stars and is on the Bronks. The price-performance ratio is exorbitantly outrageous €17.50 for 3 scallops, €15.50 for 5 ravioli. The salmon we ordered was bland and dry. In addition, there was no menu. You have to have fun with a board and see what's out there. Apart from being Italian there is no bruscetta. You can definitely buy coke for that, because that's how the staff behaved. Arrogant, hectic, forgets you, runs back and forth 100 times (just annoying). The products start at €13.50 and end at utopian (with drinks). I'm disappointed! How come? Given the prices, you assume that the furnishings are elegant and beautiful. Puppy cake. We sat outside and the only source(s) of light there were 10 space heaters that roasted your face and 2 candles. We had to eat at the table with a flashlight because we couldn't see our food. When we wanted to pay, the waiter asked if we wanted to give him a tip. This store is only interested in making a profit and that is how you will be treated. My family owns an Italian restaurant and we don't treat our customers that way. We left almost €300 for children's meals and a bit of drinking. When paying it was not possible to pay separately. The waiter said he didn't know how to do that. He literally begged us to pay for everything by card or in cash. I've never experienced anything like that either. This is not a difficult undertaking. When I gave the waiter a tip of €10, he looked at me stupidly and gave me a grunt that said: "Why are you giving me €10, you ungrateful person?" We were deducted from our bill for water that we ordered but never received. At the end it was said. Ohhh we can't undo that. I can give one of you a glass of wine for that. Then there was a glass of wine for one. I don't understand why so many people eat there. The clientele in the restaurant was also predominantly 20+. People who think they are George Clooney himself. I could go on now, but I'll stop before the food, which is still heavy in my stomach 24 hours later, comes back up in anger. We're never coming back!

Avevamo voglia di mangiar italiano. Abbiam scelto proprio bene. Serviti da un cameriere albanese simpatico e professionale. I piatti sono abbondanti e per questo abbiamo preso per antipasto 2 carpacci seguiti da tagliatelle fatte in casa con fingerli girate nella forma di grana. Buonissimi. E poi un buon tiramisù in 2 e 2 espressi. Privatelo

This is the most authentic Italian dish in northern Germany

Unfortunately I had to experience today that I will not be visiting this trattoria again. Mediocre Italian cuisine at high prices, very poor service (which was overlooked for most of my stay) and we were charged for the food we ordered which we never received. All in all, I have to say that I definitely know better Italian places where you can get higher quality at cheaper prices.

Good location with a feel-good factor, "typical" Italian service... simply lovely, delicious food, pleasant places and a harmonious price-performance factor. We recommend.

Very unfriendly and snippy staff. There are no menus. There is one on the Internet, but it is probably not correct and should not be taken into account. There are only two small boards with dishes written on them. Not much choice. The portions are very small for the very expensive prices. Taste OK but nothing special. I've eaten at much better Italian restaurants. Not worth recommending. I won't be visiting this place again.

Very unfriendly service, starting with the fact that you asked for the menu (which isn't available) but no one pointed out that there were two signs with the menu next to the entrance. So we waited in vain for the tickets for a while until we had to ask again and were charged for it. Then the wrong food was brought, and we were also blamed for that and even complained about (even though it didn't have to be replaced). The portion was super small, the noodles tasted old and were even hard in some places. Not a good experience. We won't come again.

Too expensive for the food and the chaotic service.

Excellent food and very friendly service. We had the burrata with grilled tomato salad (with their homemade balsamic vinegar), the porcini pasta and tiramisu. Reasonably priced wine at €8 per glass. The wait staff was excellent and friendly. Not lots of English, but you’re good if you can get by in German or Italian.

The service is nice. The ambience is very good, there is enough space and it is not loud. Unfortunately the food came much too quickly and the truffle pasta was very oily, so it wasn't worth the price. In general the restaurant is good.

We have went there with friends for drinks. Once they have brought the drinks they wanted us to order a dinner. We told them we just wanted to have drinks that moment they become very rude and told us that we need to leave in 10 min if we are not getting something to eat. They should have been told this before seated us and they should have been communicate this in a good manner!!!

Very tasty food at fair prices. If you like something a little more lively, this is the right place for you.

Let me explain my rating. We've been going to the place for many years. Granted, every year, the group gets bigger and bigger. The owner knows us and knows when we come, especially when the conference is in town to hire additional help. This year, we booked the whole restaurant, which means the group was bigger than ever. Only 2 people working for over 65 people. We had to start pouring the wine ourselves for everyone. The famous Parmesan Pasta wasn't given to everyone who asked, and due to all the chaos,people started to leave without finishing the night.

Wir hatten für 6 Personen um 18:30 reserviert und hatten 2 Geburtstage zu feiern. Es sollte ein netter,entspannter Abend in guter Atmosphäre, mit gutem Essen werden. Wir bekamen einen Tisch Mittig im aussen Bereich, mit der Info, dass wir um 20 Uhr Fertig sein müssten und Sie drinnen eine geschlossene Gesellschaft haben. Verwundert sagten wir, dass dies nicht bekannt war und wir Geburtstage feiern würden. Sie würden sicherstellen, dass wir eine tolle Zeit verbringen würden. Nach 1 Stunde waren wir mit Vor- und Hauptspeise durch. Bei der Bezahlung, ohne Trinkgeld und unserer Begründung, dass das Essen gut war, wir aber nicht eine Nahrungsaufnahme in hektischer, lauter, ungemütlicher Atmosphäre geplant hatten, wollte man noch diskutieren. Sie seien nicht hektisch sondern halt schnell. Ich ärgere mich noch heute, dass wir nicht direkt gegangen sind.

The lasanage was burnt, had a huge layer of flour mush in it and didn't taste particularly good. And that for just under €40. The service didn't serve us well, we sat for 1.5 hours after eating where we didn't get anything to drink and at the end we asked to pay several times. It's a shame about the place. There could also be sensible innkeepers here. Unfortunately, one star is still too many.

Great food at humane prices in a relaxed atmosphere. I thought it was really good.

Location OK, nice staff. The food is tasty, but the portions are so small that I took the liberty of asking for a second helping. Was ignored, 9 people had tagliatelle from the cheese wheel with side dishes. Nobody was full, the neighboring table who saw my portion handed me their bread basket. Totally overpriced at €25.00 and didn't receive an invoice even when I asked. The total amount was only shown on a cell phone and no menu was provided to us. This was the last visit for us.

If you go here if you are hungry, it is advisable to order a starter and dessert. But then you quickly reach €50-60 per person plus drinks. One of our group had extremely little on his plate. The waitress was asked about this, but unfortunately there was no response. Our impression was: "Oh, they're just a few tourists, they won't be coming back anyway. Easy money." When we went out, we saw significantly larger portions of the same dish on other plates. The taste of the food was okay.

We got the tip from a friend who visited the restaurant the day before and highly recommended it to us. We weren't disappointed, nice atmosphere and very tasty food!

Food took +45 min to prepare(bolognese). Then a kids portion was served which wasn’t ordered. Took another 10min for right order to arrive. Taste was mediocre.

Anyone who has ever been to a trattoria in Italy will feel like they are there. Very nice and courteous staff. First-class original Italian cuisine. Top wines. We had the antipasti, the vitello and the pasta with truffles. If you expect prices like those in the pizzeria on the corner, you don't expect the quality you get here, sorry

All around great and recommended lunch menu. Fast, attentive, good food for a fair price!

Found it by chance, made a spontaneous reservation and had a great meal two evenings in a row and the table by the window also worked, molto bene, Grazie, we'll be happy to come back. And don't forget the chocolate chips with the espresso... these little gestures are what round off a lovely evening. Great team and always smiling ;;-)) See you soon…

Nice old restaurant and the food was beautiful

We were spontaneous guests on a Saturday evening at the beginning of March 2024 in this beautiful trattoria right on the Großneumarkt in Hamburg's Neustadt and are happy to give it 5 stars! Italian joie de vivre from the entire team, wonderful Wilhelminian style atmosphere with cozy, close seating and high-priced but high-quality and authentic food. Certainly not a cheap "pizzeria around the corner" and the portions are sometimes manageable, but it's in the middle of Hamburg... ;-) The patron didn't know us yet, but we almost felt like regulars and would love to come back with a larger group! PS: The open Primitivo is delicious and the amount of truffles on the pasta was good. The chocolate with the espresso was a hit. Thanks.

Nice restaurant, unfortunately the wrong hospitality. We had several dishes: Lasagna: unfortunately burnt, but at least expensive Ravioli: very little, but expensive and also ordered with sage and received with nutmeg. Also (because forgotten) brought to the table after almost finishing the meal. Thanks to the hospitality. Linguine with porcini mushrooms: very tasty, unfortunately more of an appetizer, but at least not cheap. Thank you Enzo for the lovely evening. PS: We didn't want to go out for a cheap meal, we wanted above all good quality, to feel good and to start the evening full.

Im Rahmen der Weihnachtsfeier dort gewesen. Essen war super. Aber bei einem 4-Gang-Menü nicht satt geworden.

Nach ein paar Jahren war ich heute mal wieder zum Mittagstisch da - es schmeckt immer noch sooo lecker. Und das Beste: täglich wechselnd und so günstig... Grazie, ich komme bestimmt bald wieder!

Lecker, lecker. Klein aber fein.

Eten was echt heerlijk. We hadden beiden een pasta die heerlijk van smaak was. Je proeft de kwaliteit. De sfeer is ook echt goed, leuk ingericht. De service echter... Ronduit slecht. De ober heeft haast en zegt dingen in het Italiaans nadat hij weet waar je vandaan komt. Je voelt je weggezet. Slecht. Ik wil rustig eten zonder haast en zonder insinuaties in het Italiaans. Ook verwacht ik voor de prijs (€100,-, wat brood vooraf wat je zo maar krijgt maar ook betaald, 2 personen hoofdgerecht en wijn) iets van normale uitleg wat een gerecht is, als je om uitleg vraagt. Hier wilde de ober niet antwoorden, alleen dat de kok moest weten of je pasta of vlees wilde. Wederom, haast bij het personeel.

Grandios... Da kommst auf Besuch nach Hamburg, als gastronomisch verwöhnter Österreicher, gehst ins erste Lokal weil da ein paar Leute sitzen und entdeckst ein Juwel. Top Service, top Küche. Zander auf Eierschwammerl (Pfifferlinge) und eine exzellente Zucchini Vorspeise. Dazu ein Weinderl, offen ausgeschenkt, es ist zum Niederknien. Wir kommen wieder...

Waren zu einem kleinen Imbiss hier. Vitello Tonato sehr lecker und auch die Pasta gut. Italienisches Lokal mit etwas gehobeneren Preisen, wo die Bedienung freundlich und schnell ist.

Das Essen war lecker, wenngleich der Fisch sehr viele Gräten hatte. Der Service war schwach - lange zeit Wartezeiten nach der Bestellung und unaufmerksamer Service allgemein.

Geniales Restaurant und ein super zuvorkommender Service. Eine Seltenheit!

Wir wollten nach einem Konzert im Michel zu fünft noch ein Glas Wein trinken (21:15 Uhr). Ich habe gefragt, ob es ok ist, wenn wir nichts essen. War es. Nette Begrüßung. Draußen kam die Weinkarte. Da wir zwei Autofahrer dabei hatten, haben wir 1 Flasche Rotwein und 1 Flasche Wasser mit jeweils 5 Gläsern bestellt. Es kamen 5 gut gefüllte Gläser, die dann natürlich auch einzeln berechnet wurden (deutlich teurer). So mussten wir Wein untereinander verteilen... Doof.

Wir haben hier ganz toll essen können, sodass wir direkt ein zweites Mal zu Enzo gegangen sind. Die Nudeln sind hausgemacht, die antipasti kommt direkt vom Grill, der Nachtisch ist einzigartig. Alles wird frisch gekocht, einfach toll und lecker.

Authentisch italienische Küche mit tollem Flair am Großneumarkt

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Uns war es aber zu hektisch und laut an diesem Abend.

Der alte Signore Enzo würde sich schämen für dieses Personal. In seiner Dependence am Großneumarkt erlebten wir einen sehr unfreundlichen Service, null familiär, so unpersönlich wie im schlechten Fastfood-Laden. Wir hatten 2x Taglierine mit Trüffel, in der originalen Trattoria da Enzo um die Ecke ein legendärer Klassiker, der immer heiß serviert wurde und glücklich gemacht hat. Im Due waren es Kinderportionen, die lauwarm schon nach knapp fünf Minuten serviert wurden mit viel zu wenig Parmesan - völlig überteuert für 23,90 € pro Portion. Einfach enttäuschend.

furchtbar, hätten zu mcdonalds gehen sollen extrem unfreundlicher Service Essen schmeckt okay, aber für den Preis einfach zu schlecht und zu wenig

Wir wollten mit 6 Personen Abendessen. Leider war das Personal sehr gestresst und unfreundlich. Eine Speisekarte gibt es nur im Aussenbereich. Nachdem wir das Getränk falsch bekommen haben sahen wir uns gezwungen das Restaurant ohne zu essen wieder zu verlassen. Ich werde das Restaurant auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.

Eng, laut, hektisches Personal das sich gegenseitig anschrie „arbeite schneller“. Hauptgericht: verkochte Engelshshaarspaghetti mit wässerigen Pilzen, die anscheinend aus der Tiefkühltruhe stammten. Ich konnte nicht mehr herausfinden welche Pilze mir da für 23 Euro serviert wurden.

Spaghetti waren verkocht, und es ging auch zu lange bis das Essen kam und die Karte war auch unlesbar und aber Esser war schon lecker, aber ging einfach zu lange und der Bestellprozess war auch ganz schwierig und ja. Nicht so gut in Erinnerung.

Kommen super gern zu Enzo. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Antipasti Misti, die immer etwas variieren und wirklich großartig zusammengestellt sind.

Original italienisch zu bekömmlichen Preisen. Auch bei Promis wie den Klitschkos beliebt. Das tut dem guten Essen aber kein Abbruch.

Vi besøgte stedet for første gang. Absolut italiensk på godt og ondt. Man skal kunne lide italiensk mentalitet, og sidde tæt. Venlig modtagelse og velsmagende mad. Prøv antipasti special. Kokken havde en dårlig dag, som kunne mærkes når han var i restauranten. Også så den desværre ofte sædvanlige, hvorfor kommer tjeneren ikke og spørger til om maden smager, og ikke først ved afrydning.

We paid 180€ for 3. They did not gave the menu at the begining. Waiter told us what they have in the menu. At the end we saw he make doble price for ever pieces. We ate pasta by the way. They tricked us. Don’t go there. They had nothing special unless untrustable customer services.

4 Personen 200€ Abendessen. Aber...nur für eine Vorspeise, Pasta, Wasser (1Flasche) und ein Tiramisu. Vorspeise waren sehr lecker, 1 Stück carpaccio, 1 Stück Zucchini, 1 Stück Rinder - Carpaccio pro Person und Gemüse mix. Unsere Pasta war kalt und wissen nicht wieso und die Kellnerin wusste auch nicht wieso... Überbewertet. Schade

Det var tredie gang, at vi besøgte restauranten til aftensmad. De første to gange var ok, men heller ikke meget mere. Men der er en god italiensk stemning, og det fik os til at komme igen. Vi bestilte Antipasti til deling, Pasta vongole, og Taglietini med oksekødsstrimler. Antipasti var ok, Vongole var veltilberedt og smagte som den skulle, Taglietini var næsten rå og oksekødet tørt. De tilbød retfærdigvis en ny portion eller en dessert, men vi har det sådan, at hvis en ægte italiensk restaurant serverer rå pasta, ja så har vi slet ikke lyst til mere. Retten blev slettet fra regningen.

The food was really good and the staff was friendly. There was a great atmosphere on the terrace in front of the restaurant. Our waiter was Gino, and he was so kind. He was always aware of our needs without being too much. I can definitely recommend visiting this nice restaurant.

We had a very nice experience here with our 3 year old. An eclectic mix of German, Italian and English got us through the evening, but everyone was smiling and the service was great, as was the food.

Es war ein wundervoller Abend. Super Vorspeisen, geniale Nudeln aus dem Käselaib, der Nachtisch ein Traum und Grappa und Wein vom feinsten. Dazu die typische italienische Gastfreundschaft.

Freundliche Bedienung. das Essen ist frisch und von Hand gemacht. Es schmeckt frisch und sehr gut. Es gibt keine Karte aber die Bedienung erklärt alles gut verständlich.

Nicht zu empfehlen, der Appetit vergeht beim Beobachten des Service Personals! Brot und Oliven werden lieblos serviert, keine Platzteller für das Brot, Besteck muss nachgefragt werden. Lange Wartezeiten und wenig Beachtung der einzelnen Gäste! Speisekarte an der Wand, leider wurde kein Opernglas bereit gestellt um sie zu lesen…. Corona-Regeln werden missbraucht, Maske als Kinnschutz, Vergabe der Tische durch den „Chef“, Normale Gäste werden eng zusammen gesetzt, Prominente bekommen 6er-Tisch alleine und schnell ihre Gerichte! Das alles sollte man sich sparen bei dem Angebot in der Nähe!

We went a family of four - parants and 2 teenagers 18/17 yrs. We got a good italian dinner from a varied menu (written on black board). Service is good and helpfull. We came here because some we know reccomened that place - and we can certainly pass this reccomendation on !

Excellent food and service but the white wine was a bit disappointing to the price. Especially the anti pasti is highly recommended. Even at a busy night they managed to have a good level of service and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very Italian....

Man hat auch in Coronazeiten ein gutes Gefühl, da die Deckenhöhe hoch ist und zwischen den Tischen Plexiglas Trenner stehen. Der Barolo war gut. Der Oktopussalat könnte ein wenig mehr Säure und Würzung vertragen. Die Pasta mit Trüffel war grandios.
