A very good Italian restaurant that I have been visiting for years.

We wanted to have lunch there...the menus were thrown at us without a good day or hello... After looking at the menu we were ignored... no question as to whether we would like something to drink... then we got up and left... I'm sure no one will see us there again... Then there are the other Italians on Ritterstrasse (super friendly and delicious pizza and pasta)

For me, this was the best pizza I've ever eaten in Hamburg! Delicious! In addition, there is courteous, polite and extremely friendly service. People are happy to tip generously and will be happy to come back.

Absolute impudence that such a restaurant is allowed to complain. The food was just okay, the portion was tiny and the service was an absolute disaster. You can get over the fact that the food came before the drinks, but the fact that the plates are cleared away even though you're still eating and the service staff is absolutely rude and unfriendly is probably a complete disgrace. As a fully trained hotel specialist, I can say that I clearly learned things differently, so I would prefer 5 minus stars. It's best to go somewhere else!!!

We sat outside on a cul-de-sac from the Quarree. OK, but not cozy. Food was OK.

You wouldn't expect such a good Italian in a shopping center. Pizzas are prepared quickly within sight. It's great to watch because someone knows their craft. Taste was great. Gladly again.

We ordered take out. Three pizzas and three pasta dishes. One pizza came without the parmesan that was ordered additionally. The size of the pasta portions was way too small. For 15,40€ (carbonara) I would have expected double the amount of what we got. The Pasta Aglio Olio e Peperoncino was fairly spicy, the portion was the same as the carbonara and the parmesan was forgotten (additionally ordered & payed). Apart from that the food tasted very good and arrived extremely quick, just quite disappointing concerning additional orders and the portion sizes of the pasta.

Pizza with truffles. To melt away!

There were three of us and everyone loved the food. There was pizza in each case and the crust was nice and airy and the base was very thin. The topping, for me ham and mushrooms, was also good. The service was nice, but didn't ask us if we wanted to order anything after our meal. The plates had already been cleared away, even though not everyone had eaten. This behavior didn't go down well with us. The restaurant is located in a shopping center and therefore it is usually a bit louder. We didn't find it bothersome.

Beste Pizza in Hamburg! 60 seconds to Napoli sind ein Witz dagegen! Geht zu Franco nach Wandsbek! Tolle Pizzen mit knusprig luftigen Rand und tollen Belägen. Ich hatte dort die pilante calabrische Streichsalami Nduja kennenlernen dürfen. Ein Gedicht! Pizza braucht nix weiter als erstklassige Zutaten. Und die gibt es hier! Toller 48 Std gegangener Pizzahefeteig, kräftige und üppige Tomatensauce, dazu ein paar Kleckse Nduja und frische Burrata! Das wird meine neue Lieblingspizza! Leider sind die Getränke recht teuer. Die Pizzen sind die Preise wert. Und: Mir ist tatsächlich aufgefallen, die Gäste grinsen tatsächlich voller Vorfreude, wenn ihnen die Pizza vor der Nase serviert wird. Sie sehen schon großartig aus und man will nur noch reinbeißen! 😍

The restaurant is located in the EKZ Quarree. The interior is reminiscent of a bistro. It is very clean and tidy. The service staff is very friendly and quick. The food was good to very good. The bruschetta was super tasty and reasonably priced. The lasagne was also tasty, but the portion was a bit too small for the price.

Spontaneously made a reservation and was completely satisfied with the food. Service was really great too! Widen like that!!!

I was there today and the first thing that surprised me was how friendly the waiter was, who immediately brought me the menu. I ordered within maybe two minutes, and after about 5 to 10 minutes the pizza arrived. I was surprised at how good it tasted – top quality! I will come here more often.

Pizza is not at all the best in Hamburg.... and it is too expensive for how it presented itself today. The dough on our 2 pizzas was excellent. Friendly staff, super quick pizza. But the rest seemed to have been done on a super-saving basis and without love!!! The "pizza with 5 cheeses and walnuts" looked like this: with a single strange layer of melted cheese and then with 5-6 small pieces of walnuts on one side - almost like a rubber slipper that all melted cheese... not even a whiff of oregano dry on top or a few leaves of fresh basil, meh.... What are the 5 cheeses in the title - God knows... The "raw and parmesan pizza" had very little ham - just 4 very thin slices - very transparent, very spread out and straight on top of a mountain of rocket. Come on with this rocket!... and its price is too high for what it looks like!!! Money wasted here today. It was our 4th attempt, that's it - we here for the pizza will never return.

The food was quite good. Not the best pizza by a long shot, but it was tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambience is just a shopping mall feeling... okay, but the charm is missing. But the operators can't do anything about it. It depends on the location.

Even after the renovation, it is still too small and always very full, especially at peak times, which also speaks for the popularity of the restaurant/bistro. All price ranges are served, from quick and cheap (pizza) to upscale daily menu (e.g. veal schnitzel in white wine). We have never been disappointed in terms of taste!!!!! Despite the abundance of customers, the staff is always nice and attentive.

A great location, in the middle of the Quarree Wandsbek you can immerse yourself in an oasis with Italian flair. The service is super friendly and the boss also takes good care of his guests. The four of us were in Hamburg for the first time today. We come from Bremen and I have to say this was one of the best pizzas I've eaten.

Well, if you have to wait 50 minutes for your food to be brought to you, that's questionable. I also don't accept the justification that a large take-out order came in shortly beforehand: customers/guests present always have priority. The food was good, the atmosphere was open and modern.

Hello everyone, my wife and I still enjoy eating at Da Franco to this day and, due to the high occupancy, we always reserve a table for two people on Saturday evenings around 6 p.m. Table reservations for two people have apparently no longer been possible for a few weeks, which is a shame. For this reason we will no longer eat there, although we have always been very satisfied with the food. From my point of view, something like this is not very customer-oriented and can scare away customers, which is what is now the case with us. You get the impression that you don't think it's necessary to treat couples (2 people) with the same respect as, for example, a family (4 people) when it comes to the possibility of making a reservation.

Moin in die Runde, meine Frau und ich sind bis zum heutigen Tag gerne zum Essen zu Da Franco gegangen und haben auf Grund der hohen Auslastung Samstagabends so 18:00 immer einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Tischreservierungen für 2 Personen sind seit anscheinend ein paar Wochen nicht mehr möglich, das ist Schade. Wir werden aus diesem Grund dort erstmal nicht mehr zum Essen gehen obwohl wir bis jetzt mit den Speisen immer sehr zufrieden waren. Aus meiner Sicht ist so etwas nicht sehr Kunden orientiert und kann Kunden vergraulen so das jetzt bei uns der Fall ist. Man bekommt den Eindruck das man es nicht für nötigt hält Paare ( 2 Personen ) genau so Respektvoll zu behandeln wie z.B. eine Familie ( 4 Personen ) was die Möglichkeit der Reservierung angeht.

Wir essen regelmäßig bei da Franco, da uns das Essen immer sehr geschmeckt hat. Heute wollten wir einen Tisch für 2 Personen reservieren für 18.00 Uhr mussten jedoch erfahren, dass es nicht mehr möglich ist. Nur noch ab 4 Personen kann man einen Tisch vorbestellen. Ansonsten muss man warten. Da ich keine Lust habe mir 15 bis 30 Minuten die Beine in den Bauch zu stehen verzichten wir in Zukunft auf einen Besuch. Wir geben es auch in der Nachbarschaft bekannt, damit man sich nicht mehr die Mühe macht das Restaurant zu besuchen. Es gibt auch andere gute italienische Restaurants. Tschüs da Franco.

Mit Abstand der beste Italiener in Wandsbek. Die Pizza ist ausgezeichnet, die Pasta ist gut, wenn auch leider nicht frisch gemacht. Immer super Service. Einzig die Getränkepreise sind inzwischen recht hoch und es gibt leider nur Pepsi, keine Coca-Cola. Am besten ist es im Sommer wenn man draußen sitzen kann. 😎

Ich war mit meinem kleinen Sohn dort um eine Pizza to go zu holen, er hatte sich eine Salami Pizza ausgesucht! Als wir die Pizza bekommen haben war ich echt begeistert wie schnell das ging! Laden verlassen und voller Freude den Karton aufgemacht ... Pizza ohne Salami, die Enttäuschung war gross (jeder der kleine Kinder hat versteht mich😅), also Karton wieder zu und ab zurück in den Laden. Der Mitarbeiter war extrem unfreundlich als ich meinte das die Salami fehlt, nahm den Karton entgegen und kam 1 min später wieder, auch da war ich sehr erstaunt wie schnell das ging. Raus gegangen, Karton aufgemacht, Salami war da aber roh! Der Herr hat mir einfach rohe Salami auf die Pizza geschmissen, ich bin fassungslos über den Service und die Art und weisse. Ende vom Lied, mein Sohn hat ein Stück dann ohne Salami gegessen. Ich bin 8 Euro ärmer und unzufrieden. Fehler macht jeder und das ist gar kein Problem aber die Art und weisse und dieses unfreundlich sein geht gar nicht ! Nie wieder!

Zu bestimmten Zeiten sehr voll und laut, jedoch authentisches italienisches Essen ohne viel Gedöns. Pizza immer super!

Leckere Pizza und netter Service. Das Ambiente ist für mich etwas zu laut und wuselig, was allerdings an der Lage in der Essmeile des Quarrees liegt. Die Pizza ist dafür aber richtig lecker.

Sehr leckeres Essen, erwartet man vielleicht in einem Einkaufszentrum so nicht! Ambiente leidet kaum unter der Location im Einkaufszentrum. Bruschetta war hervorragend, Penne Arrabiata war sehr lecker und schön scharf, die Paccheri dürften ruhig etwas mehr sein, aber die Kirschtomatensauce war eine der leckersten Tomatensaucen, die ich seit langem hatte! Service war auch okay. Kommen gerne wieder, wenn es sich anbietet und wenn wir wieder mal in Hamburg sind.

War hier heute mit ner Kollegin essen. Wir hatten beide die Lasagne. Für 13,50€ fand ich das erhaltene Stück ehrlich gesagt etwas klein. 10€ wären dafür absolut angemessen gewesen. Der Cappuccino war lecker.

Toller Italiener im Einkaufszentrum. Service ist sehr nett, Essen immer sehr gut. Perfekt für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp beim Einkaufen.

Bei Franco war ich sehr oft essen, aber die letzten beiden Besuche waren dort enttäuschend. Die Pizza war sehr sparsam belegt außer die Tomaten Soße war reichlich. Eigentlich schwamm der Belag in der Tomatensauce. Das Brot vorab wurde auch erst auf Nachfrage gereicht. Die Portionen bei den Nudelgerichten könnten auch großzügiger sein.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal, sehr freundliche und Humorvolle Bedienungen, das Essen war auch sehr schnell da und lecker. Preis Leistung ist genauso sehr gut, ich komme aufjedenfall wieder zu euch.

Wie immer: einfach grandios! Lecker-Garantie und super Service. Mein Lieblings-Italiener! Bis zum nächsten Mal :-)

We have been to this restaurant quite many times, and I don't remember any time walking out with dissatisfaction. Every time our pizzas were tasty and properly baked, the dough quality is good and the service is always very accomodating. The place is always neat and clean with a simple casual decor. This is our go to place when it comes to authentic Italian pizza.

Sehr gute italienische Küche mit wechselnder Wochenkarte mitten im Einkaufszentrum. Die Pizza- und Pasta-Gerichte sind grandios und so wie sie sollen! Unglaublich gute und echte(!) Carbonara und andere Pastaspezialitäten. Die Pizzen sind grandios, der Teig fluffig und kross zugleich, der Käse so wie er muss und in der Wochenkarte findet sich immer ein saisonales Special (auf dem Foto Kürbiscreme und Fenchel-Salciccia). Die Bedienung ist schnell und nett. Nur dir Atmosphäre leidet etwas, da wir mitten im Wandsbeker Quarree stecken und das Restaurant zu zwei Seiten zum Besucherstrom geöffnet ist.

Haben eine Pizza Margherita und Pizza Tropea via Uber bestellt, kam ausreichend warm an und schmeckte super! Wenn die geliefert schon so gut schmeckt, dann ist das vor Ort mindestens eine 10/10 🍕🥂

Die Pizza ist echt gut hier. Schade, dass sie an die Öffnungszeiten vom Quaree gebunden sind. Hier könnte man Abends sicherlich auch das gute Essen genießen.

Sehr leckeres und authentisches italienisches Restaurant im Quarre (EG). Bin durch Zufall drauf gestoßen, da ich geschäftlich gerade vor Ort war und mir dachte, probiere es Mal aus. Ich teste als 1. immer die Toiletten bei einem Restaurant, da man daran meistens erkennen kann, wie die hygienischen Standards des Restaurants sind. Was soll ich sagen, absolut sauber und gepflegt, ich war zufrieden. Bestellt wurde 1x Salat und 2x Pizza Thunfisch mit Getränken. Der Pizzateig war schön fluffig also innen schön saftig und außen kross, so wie er sein muss. Frische Zuaten und italienische Würzung, allerdings war es mir ein Tick zu lasch, so dass ich noch um eine Schale Chilli mit Öl gebeten habe, was auch sofort nachgereicht worden ist und damit hatte meine Thunfisch Pizza 🍕 die perfekte Schärfe. Salat war authentisch italienisch und frisch. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der hauseigene Espresso, mit eigenen Kaffeebohnen aus dem Familienbetrieb in Italien. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier und ich kann das Ristori da Franco nur weiterempfehlen.

Sehr leckere Pizza und sie haben auch auf Wunsch eine vegetarische PIzza mit Burrata gemacht. Das Tiramisu ist auch sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir saßen draußen, in der Sonne. Die Kellner waren alle freundlich und schnell. Die Getränke waren relativ teuer, aber das hat die Pizza, die wirklich beste Pizza in der Stadt, wieder rausgeholt. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren spontan zu zweit im Ristorì da Franco essen. Wir hatten ein Tagesgericht und ein Standardgericht (beides Pasta). Es war einfach hervorragend. Sehr gute Zutaten, das lässt sich an der Speisekarte schon erkennen. Auch der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. So wünscht man sich den Aufenthalt in einem sehr guten italienischen Restaurant. Ottimo lavoro!

Das Essen ist nach wie vor großartig! Die Kellner sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Die Preise wurden massiv angehoben. Bei dem Einkauf von Lebensmitteln verständlich und nachvollziehbar. Die Preise für Getränke liegen deutlich über dem der Mitanbieter. Klar haben wir eine Inflation, aber nicht komplett auf meine Kosten! Es sollte ein geben und nehmen im Vordergrund stehen. Ab und zu gerne, aber in Zukunft auch bei anderen Restaurants!

Toller Italiener im Wandbek Quaree. Essen ist lecker und wird zügig serviert. Speisekarte übersichtlich, aber abwechslungsreich. Netter Service! Wir sind gerne dort.

Gestern erkundete ich die Pizzakünste des Ristori Da Franco, welches auf eine über 30 jährige Geschichte zurückblickt. Erst kürzlich wurde modern und stilvoll aber dennoch mit rustikalem Charme renoviert, was letztendlich meine Aufmerksamkeit erregte. Unglaublich viel Personal läuft in dem recht überschaubaren Lokal rum aber alle sind sehr herzlich und ich fühlte mich sofort willkommen. Meine Pizza kam nach nicht mal 5 Minuten auf den Tisch. In der offenen Küche könnte ich das Werden verfolgen. Mein roter Hauswein - ein Montepulciano - schmeckte vollmundig und fruchtig und harmonierte wunderbar mit meiner Pizza Calabrese mit schwarzer Salami und schwarzen Oliven. Ich war im 7. Himmel - genau so muss Pizza schmecken!!! Öffnungszeit Mo - Sa 9 bis 20 Uhr. Sonntags geschlossen. Gibt natürlich auch alles zum Mitnehmen. Außerdem einen Shop in dem man sich die Basics vom Wein bis zum Olivenöl, von der Pasta bis zum Hugo für zu Hause mitnehmen kann.

Tried this venue over the weekend for an early dinner. Had no idea that according to the sign been there for a VERY long time. Was pleased with the food, but not the normal good customer care I am accustomed to in Germany, as after having eaten a bit being asked if all was okay. Seems very normal in Germany. The food was delicious AND will return to try out some of the other items. ONE very disappointment: no English menu. Being an American Expat I have learned to read German menus, generally. However, the print was small and not easily read. Even my German partner had trouble. Spoke to a waitress about THE lack of English. She indicated that she has been "working on it and perhaps I could help her." I laughed but thought it a bit strange. I have included a picture of the two meals. We will go back but NOT to help the lady with her English menu. HA

Ich war das erste mal nach der Renovierung dort. Es war ja noch nie wirklich gemütlich dort. Ich saß in dem neu dazu gekommenen Bereich . Leider auch nicht gemütlicher geworden. Eben typische „Essecke“ in einem Einkaufszentrum geblieben. Schlimm fand ich aber die Pizza, der Boden insbesondere der Rand war sehr wabbelig, zäh und preislich schon sehr hoch angesetzt. Das Preis- Leistung Verhältnis macht es mangelhaft.

Einst unser Top Favorit in Wandsbek, ich war mehrmals die Woche hier, seit der Neueröffnung leider nicht mehr. Alles wurde ver-geändert, neues Konzept, kleiner Portionen, Preise angehoben, andere Weine (kein Savignon Blanc mehr?), der Familiäre Touch alles weg. Da muß wohl der Kostendruck den der Umbau verursacht hat sehr hoch sein, viele frühere Stammgäste sehen ich in den Umliegenden Lokalen oder gar nicht mehr. Preis/Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht mehr, mann ist in Wandsbek und nicht in Blankenese. Sehr schade.

Sehr gutes Essen und nach wie vor sehr freundliches Personal!!! Nach dem Umbau sind die Preise gestiegen und wir sind nicht mehr so häufig da. Für mal eben zwischendurch nicht mehr geeignet. Der Preis für eine Flasche Wasser ist meines Erachtens eine Frechheit.... Kreativität und Qualität der Speisen sind sehr gut!

Wechselnde Wochenkarte mit einer tollen, frischen Italienischer Köstlichkeiten. Tolle Auswahl an Weinen. Aufmerksame Bedienung und Freundlich. Kleines Manko: Um 20.00 ist da Schluss. Schwierig für Berufstätige die selbst bis 20.00 in der Woche arbeiten müssen.
