Unfriendly boss, incompetent. Incompetent. Over an hour waiting for food, multiple food orders mixed up due to a kitchen error. When you complain, the order is canceled. The boss insults you, insists on paying the bill for the service you didn't receive, and threatens to call the police. The customer is king??! Not in this dump. Absolutely not recommended.

I was here today and it was amazing. Excellent service, owner very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend both the pizza and pasta.

I was there recently, but unfortunately, the portions were much too small for a very hungry person. The service, or rather the nice waitress, was super friendly and helpful with the selection, but the manager was very rude, not only to the children but also to us. He yelled at the children, asking them why they were making such a racket (they were just looking for the restroom and calling us). The food was okay, but not something I'd necessarily return to. It's a shame, as the restaurant down the street is very cozy.

Service was attentive and quick. Prices were rather high for the portion sizes. The pizza Parma was okay, but the tomato sauce was a bit bland. The pasta alla Genovese didn't taste fresh, but rather like it came from a jar, with added garlic but too little cheese or pine nuts.

A lovely little shop in Celle's old town. The service makes sure there's enough beer at the table. The pizza was great. Another positive was that our group of eight people got our food at the same time.

We were there on Saturday around 12:00 PM. We were immediately greeted warmly by the young waitress. The remaining tables outside filled up within 20 minutes. The young woman was alone and served all the tables quickly, kindly, and perfectly. I've rarely experienced such good service. The pizza was also good, of course...👍 I hope the boss knows what a great employee he has... PERFECT 👍

Disappointing Visit to Tarantorio Celle, Unprofessional Kitchen Management I recently went to Tarantorio in Celle with my wife and daughter, expecting a leisurely dinner. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Although the restaurant officially serves until 9:00 PM, we were informed at around 8:20 PM that we could only order pizza. All other dishes were no longer available. This is unacceptable to us and simply not a gastronomic standard. There were still a full 40 minutes until the kitchen closed, and other guests who arrived after us were apparently still receiving a full menu. As a former hotel manager and gastronomy expert, being reduced to a single option so early is simply unacceptable to me. We then got up and went to El Paso, which turned out to be the right decision. It's a shame that Tarantorio was so inflexible. Perhaps it was the fault of the internal kitchen team or incorrect instructions – but this shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry.

A delicious Italian restaurant with excellent, attentive service. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they did everything they could to accommodate our large group. The staff are very warm and friendly, and everyone enjoyed the pizza, pasta, and appetizers. The trattoria is highly recommended and always worth a visit.

The trattoria is located in a quiet side street, just a few meters from the town hall. We sat outside in the mild summer weather and really enjoyed it. The service was very attentive and friendly. The pizza was typically Italian, with a thin and crispy base and generous toppings, something you'd expect from many pizzerias these days. We highly recommend "Trattoria Celle"!

Rude and unfriendly "owner." We weren't eating there and just wanted to use the restroom. It was about my 8-year-old son, who urgently needed to go to the bathroom. I was aware that the public restrooms were across the street; we had used them before. I didn't allow my child to use them because we were immediately hit by a strong smell of urine and feces upon entering. We then went to the restaurant directly across the street. I encountered an extremely unfriendly and rude owner who refused to let my child use the restroom (I already had my wallet in my hand and would have paid for the use of the restroom). I politely explained to him that we had already used the public restrooms across the street, but that they were in extremely poor hygienic condition. He then continued to refuse to allow my child to use his toilet and, in an extremely derogatory and rude tone (we were already leaving the restaurant), told us that these toilets had just been renovated at a cost of thousands of euros and that we should use them. Totally ignorant, rude, inhumane, and unfriendly!!!

Sehr freundliches Servicepersonal und leckeres Essen. Neben dem Amiente punktet besonders die Pizza. Da komme ich bestimmt nochmal hin.

Limited. Small portions, but good. With 18 degrees Celsius outside, the heating was turned off. It was very cold and dark. Because of our dog (a small Bolonka), we were assigned a table in a dark corner.

My wife and I were in Celle again (we're actually from Berlin), and this time we were craving pasta/pizza. We had the classic Spicy Bolognese and the P. Salami. I'm very particular about pasta, and I have to say everything was perfect. Dough, cheese, pizza sauce. Everything was perfect. My wife's Bolognese was also very good, so we ate here for the second time today. Yesterday and again today. We'll definitely be back. Definitely recommend it.

The pizza tasted very good. It was handmade, the kids and we ate it very much. However, even though the tables were empty, they said they were full and left us and two children outside while it was snowing. An absolute highlight for lovers of Italian cuisine! The restaurant impresses with authentic dishes that are prepared with love and fresh ingredients. The homemade pasta and pizza are to die for, and the wine recommended to us complemented the meal perfectly. The ambience is cozy and charming, just like you would want for an Italian trattoria. The service is warm and attentive - you feel completely welcome. A place you should definitely visit. We'll definitely be back!

I discovered Trattoria through my partner and I'm really super excited. The atmosphere and the service from the gentleman's house are really great. The food is world class. Really very very tasty! I really enjoy eating there on my lunch break! I can only recommend it in everything. Thanks for such a great restaurant.

We were very clearly asked to leave the restaurant when it became clear that I wanted to share a pizza with my son. My daughter, whose birthday dinner it would have been, was very irritated by the innkeeper. There really is a different way to be friendly.

The two of us were supposed to sit at a very small table. We sat at a table for four because they were all free and had no reservation signs. The landlord came, slapped the menus on the table and immediately snapped at us. He wanted us to sit at the small table and when someone comes we should get up and go to it. The dining room was empty except for 2 people. We got up and left. Apparently they don't need guests here. In another restaurant we were greeted warmly and served courteously.

We were in Celle with our two children and were hungry and looking for delicious food. Guests sitting outside recommended going inside as this would be the best pizza in Celle. We followed this recommendation and our expectations were more than exceeded. The pizzas, pasta and the casserole were incredibly tasty, we have never eaten so well at an Italian restaurant. Plus the friendly service and the good price-performance ratio: simply great!!!! We'd love to come back if we're nearby!!!

Ate gnocchi with pesto Genovese... The pesto had nothing in common with good pesto. The owner is also not Italian.

The food has always been perfect on my numerous visits. Service: The landlord is a native of Celle and still cooks/bakes himself. The humor is often dry, but always friendly. The service makes an effort and I am personally very satisfied with it. The ambience is adapted to the flair of the beautiful half-timbered town of Celle. Annoying: Cyclists could really get off in the pedestrian zone!

Unfriendly staff. Food was tasty, service was okay. Fanta that has expired for 6 months is not my favorite. Label has been scratched off. Unfortunately no apology from the owners. At least not calculated as a gesture of goodwill.

When I expressed my surprise, the innkeeper made it clear that he didn't value our visit because he didn't know us. Italian-German service desert, rarely experienced so far!! Delicious pizza but only short opening hours (Friday until 9 p.m.).

We discovered this restaurant in Celle by chance. Rather small and cozy. Great opportunity to eat outside. And the food was just great. You immediately notice that the sauces are cooked in-house. The pizza is handmade and baked in a stone oven. Delicious ! We will be back

We were in Celle in week 22, 2024. And we had excellent meals in the trattoria twice, the restaurant is definitely recommended. It wasn't a problem to change a dish either.

My girlfriend and I ate there for the first time yesterday. I had pasta and my girlfriend had pizza. After the first bites we looked at each other and said "wow" at the same time. The food is amazing! A young lady served us, very polite and courteous! We felt more than in good hands.

We arrived a good hour before closing time and were not allowed to sit down. This communication was made unequivocally and in a harsh tone, without explanation or apology. You probably don't want to make any money here...

Unfortunately I can't give a review of the food. We had a table outside and our son urgently had to go to the toilet before ordering. I went in with him and greeted the two men behind the counter and walked with my son through the door that faced the toilet. We were told that you weren't allowed to just go in there. When I pointed out that we were sitting at a table outside to have lunch, there was no response at all. When we came back out, I asked if we could go back to our table to order food. This was denied.

We were able to spend a very nice evening with extremely delicious food.

Super delicious food. The pizza dough is world class and the truffle tortellini in sage butter was also very good. We were warmly welcomed and looked after very nicely. :)

I am a regular guest and super satisfied. The original Italian spaghetti carbonara could hardly be made better (a little cream and fried bacon). There is also a friendly host and a very warm atmosphere in the restaurant - keep it up.

Very unfriendly staff. A table was reserved, but due to a mishap the table could only be taken half an hour later. When we apologized, we were very rudely told that we should have called. Then other guests were served even though we signaled that we wanted to order. The pizza was OK.

We went here for lunch with my 2 year old daughter. Unfortunately, children of this age usually don't sit still. She looked closely at the electric candle on the table and then the employee came and told her not to play with his decorations. Unfortunately he also warned her twice with the finger. Well, it didn't seem particularly child-friendly to me. (I didn't find any children's chairs either) And my daughter didn't terrorize the restaurant in any way, she just ran around a bit with grandma and looked at everything. It's a shame ☹️

Wir waren in der Trattoria Celle zum Abendessen. Das Restaurant liegt in einer Seitenstraße in einem Fachwerkhaus (Achtung: nicht Barrierefreie!). Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl von Beginn an. Das Restaurant ist klein und dadurch sehr gemütlich. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker und die Lasagne war ein Gedicht. Dazu leckeres gezapftes Bier - perfekt. Die Preise sind fair und Kartenzahlung ist kein Problem! Fazit: Ein Geheimtipp in Celle - gerne wieder!

Das Essen, Bruschetta, Pizza Calzone und Pizza Trattoria, war sehr gut, der Service war sehr freundlich und kompetent, die Räumlichkeiten sind klein aber fein, deshalb besser reservieren. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wenn wir mal wieder in Celle sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Pizza gegessen .Pizza hat gepasst. Der Kellner war sehr schnell und ich musste die Tür hinter mir zumachen. Hatte gedacht, dass einer rausgehen wollte. Der ist aber stehen geblieben Dann wollte der Kellner, dass ich die Tür wieder zu mache. Hab ich und war ok für mich. Celle ist nette Stadt. Man kann für 2 Euro mitten in der Innenstadt parken.

Klasse Resturant. Wir waren hier zum zweiten Jahrestag und es war wunderbar. Das Ambiente war herausragend, da es ein sehr kleines und gemütliches Resturant war. Die Bedienung war schnell und höflich und hat uns unsere Wünsche buchstäblich von den Lippen gelesen. Das Essen an sich hat zwar anders geschmeckt, als erwartet, aber lecker war es allemal und zur Feier des Tages durfte ich auch noch die, zwar simple, aber sehr hübsche Reserviert-Karte mitnehmen. Super Abend und ich würde es jedem empfehlen hier auch mal mit dem kleinen Kreis essen zu gehen.

Ich habe mir Pasta Carbonara ohne Speck bestellt. Als die Pasta ankam, erwartete mich ein Haufen Nudeln mit Wasser und Ei. Wirklich wässrig und ungenießbar. Leider wurde auf Nachfrage weder ein Rabatt noch ein neues Gericht angeboten, sodass ich den Vollpreis zahlen musste. Wirklich schade! :(

Ich wünschte es wäre anders, aber leider kann ich nichtmal einen Stern geben. Das Essen war qualitativ nicht gut und kam auch kalt an. Der Service war ausbaufähig und Allgemein war es ein unhöfliches Klima dort. Auf Kritik wird mit Unhöflichkeit reagiert. Schade!

Die Pizza war gut, nur etwas sparsam belegt

Ich habe mir hier eine Handpizza geholt. Diese gibt es mit einem roten Teppich an einem Fenster. Es gibt verschiedene Sorten (Salami, Thunfisch, Margarita, Brokkoli, etc) und der Teig ist neapolianisch dünn mit etwas aufgegangenem Rand. Sie ist schon fertig gebacken, wird bei Bestellung aber nochmal eine Minute in den heißen Pizzaofen geschoben. Für 5 Euro bekommt man schnell eine geschnittene leckere italienische Pizza (meine Thunfisch war ca 270g schwer).

Wir gehen mindestens zweimal im Monat hier essen und sind immer wieder von dem freundlichen Gastgeber sowie den leckeren Speisen überzeugt. Die Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Gastgeber ist charismatisch und authentisch und hat uns schon oft ein Lächeln geschenkt. Für uns gibt es keine bessere Trattoria im ganzen Umkreis.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit köstlicher Pizza und einem super Service. Klare Empfehlung, vor allem auch, wenn man eine vegane Pizza in Celle sucht.
