We were there for the first time yesterday. A very cozy atmosphere, just a bit cramped in the restaurant. It gets very loud when the restaurant is full, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying your meal. Because the food is fantastic and tastes like Italy. Great craftsmanship, every dish looked very tasty and fresh. We will definitely come more often.

The Amalfi is a wonderful little trattoria & pizzeria. Here you can experience a piece of Italy in Ehrenfeld. The dishes are classic, the quality is very good and a taste experience. Here you know your craft. The dishes, primarily pizza and pasta, are cooked with very fresh ingredients. This is clearly reflected in the taste and puts a smile on your face. The service is friendly, uncomplicated, courteous and quick. The restaurant is always well attended. A reservation makes sense, if you want to come with more than 2 people. The drinks are also recommended, various cocktails and wines are available. The hot chocolate cake (lava cake) is to die for!!! Here we cook and entertain guests with an Italian heart. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and pleasant. The volume could be too much for some people who are sensitive.

My new favorite Italian restaurant in Ehrenfeld. Everything that comes out of the oven is simply sensational. The burrata starter was a poem and the pizzas (especially the crust) were crazy. So delicious that I'll have a hard time trying the pasta next time. The service is attentive, super friendly and the prices are absolutely reasonable. 2 people, 1 starter, 1 bottle of water, 2 main courses = €52 and worth every cent.

Really delicious 100% Italian cuisine we came from Frankfurt. And we weren't disappointed. Keep doing exactly that. We'll definitely be back.

I got to know Trattoria Amalfi through the great videos on TikTok. Today we were finally there live with family. And we were thrilled. Very friendly service and really tasty food, all at fair prices. It's definitely recommended to make a reservation as we were there very early (6pm) and by the time we left it was quite busy - and rightly so! We will definitely come back and thank you for the delicious food!

I came across this restaurant through tiktok. All I can say is really TOP! Here you really get food like in Italy. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love that is invested here. We'll definitely be back.

The three of us were there on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Drinks and orders were taken quite quickly and the starters were also served quickly. When the main course came, two of us got our food and the third didn't. After about 10 minutes and half a pizza less, we brought this to the waiter's attention and until then he responded in a friendly and understanding manner. When we were both almost finished and the third dish (Pizza Amalfi without ham) was still missing, we drew the waiter's attention again to us and the missing dish. What happened next is not possible! He became very cheeky and really insulted us. After all, they are only human and because of the extra request (without ham), the receipt was lost?! Sorry, but if the vouchers are distributed to the pizza and pasta station, then one voucher definitely went to the pizza station because a pizza arrived on time. Mistakes happen and that's completely ok, BUT what's not ok is complaining to the paying guest for asking about their food while the others at the table are almost finished. The whole thing was around 6 p.m., which means the store wasn't so crowded that you could get stuck. At least not if you always represent yourself and the store in such a “professional” way. A good waiter notices when only two out of three people have food on the table and then checks the cash register to see if only two dishes were ordered or if one dish is missing. Especially if the receipt in question has arrived. It's a shame, because the food itself is definitely ok and would have been worth another visit and a recommendation to friends and acquaintances.

- The food is good. Nothing extraordinary, but great. - Ambiance is ok. Small, squat and cozy. - Service quite ok! Until there is a problem! The following situation... there are 3 of us. Three ladies with a starter and then a main course. Two main courses came. We asked (not the owner).. coming soon. Then we were almost finished and asked politely again. This time we were bullied. Only people would work there and the receipt for the Amalfi pizza without ham would be lost. But he knew straight away which pizza it was 😂 Very cheeky and that's not how you behave towards your guests. Not even when they get cheeky, which we weren't by any stretch of the imagination. You also have to like the cigarettes behind the ears of the employees who take turns smoking. The dog that was lying at the next table couldn't help it because it was a rainy day and it smelled awful... I would have liked to give a recommendation, but you can also get middle class food with friendly service 😉

If I could give this location 10 stars I would. Service: We were warmly welcomed in front of the restaurant and shown to our tables. The employees always had an overview and invited everyone with their friendly and humorous service. Here you don't feel like a customer but like a guest. Food: The menu is very clear and offers a variety of dishes without seeming overcrowded. When I ordered, I was given a personal recommendation that I trusted. I wasn't disappointed. While the pizza warms the heart with its fruity tomato sauce and spicy cheese, the tiramisu shines with its sweet and aromatic note. My companion ordered pasta and was also thrilled. Price/performance top Ambience: You enter a cozy restaurant. The chairs are comfortable to sit on and the wooden tables were big enough. The three of us sat together. We never had the feeling that space was tight. Because the restaurant is not very big, it can be a bit noisy. But I can't criticize this any further, as this is well compensated for by the service. Conclusion: I usually eat at a restaurant just for the food and then want to pay immediately. Here I didn't have the feeling that I wanted to leave, but rather stay. The best Italian food I've eaten in a long time and I encourage everyone to try it and let yourself be enchanted.

A big compliment goes to the service - you are so friendly and you can only feel comfortable with the relaxed and funny way you serve your guests. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't baked through, the edge was crispy but the base was soft and flabby. The pasta tasted ok, but if you order pasta with steak you look for the steak crumbs in the pasta. This is apparently standard practice, happened to me for the third time and is also observed at the other tables. It's a shame because it tastes good but then the price/performance ratio doesn't fit. I think the location is nice, the tables are too close together for me but that's now standard.

Four of us had dinner there and came with relatively high expectations because we had already seen Gianni's dishes on Tiktok and they looked very tasty and authentic. So the starter was the best tomato soup I've ever eaten, the main course was a Reginella pizza that was simply excellent and the final dish was a perfect tiramisu. Plus an Amalfi shower and a funny, friendly host. The price for four people with drinks, starter, main course, dessert/espressos was around €160 and I think that's more than fair for the quality on offer. The team around Gianni was also super friendly and authentic. Visit Gianni and delicious food and a lovely evening is guaranteed!

You can eat there for a romantic evening, it is a little noisy but very tasty and the staff is very friendly. The price is definitely worth it, Gladly again.

I was at Amalfi with my family at the weekend and what can I say: the food was a 10 out of 10 and top both in taste and quality. You can tell that the food here is fresh and cooked with love. The boys' mood immediately put you in a good mood and we felt very entertained. The somewhat louder atmosphere gives an insight into the Cologne-Italian joie de vivre and it is simply a pleasure to be a guest. Drinks and cocktails were all delicious and special requests were also addressed without any problem. Amalfi has new regular guests - we will definitely come back more often!

The ambience wasn't quite my thing, too small, too narrow, too loud but that's a matter of taste. The food was delicious, served quickly at the table. The staff was super friendly, a bit funny 😉 and on point. All in all it was a successful evening with good food.

@Burak: Ich war heute im Restaurant mit 7 Personen alle waren begeistert. Er ist sehr sympathisch und nett. Nudeln und die Pizza war sehr lecker. Ich habe ihn auf TikTok gefunden und zu erst Rezept zu Hause probiert es war köstlich und einfach zu bereiten deswegen ich möchte ihm persönlich kennenlernen und seinem Essen probieren. Wir sehen uns öfters mal! Ciao amigo mío!

Wir waren heute das erste mal hier aber nicht das letzte mal, wir hatten zwei cocktail zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptgerichte alles vom feinsten. Besonders hervorragend iwt die selbst gemachte Note im jeden Gericht von der Kräuterbutter über das Brot die Antpasti und natürlich die Pizza. Unsere Kellner waren alle auf Augenhöhe konnten die frage nach Empfehlungen alle sofort und Komponent beantworten. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich familiäre lässt aber Raum für private Unterhaltungen. 66€ für zwei Personen inklusive Getränke sind für diese Qualität ein hervorragender Deal. Die Parkplatz Situation ist zwar nicht gut aber was hat das Amalfi damit zu tun 🤣.

Ambiente sehr schön, aber laut...muss man nur wissen. Ich komme gern zum Pizza essen und/oder Cocktail trinken am Wochenende abends wieder. Die beiden Pastagerichte die wir hatten, waren leider nicht so zufriedenstellend, da sie extrem ölig waren. Die Teller glänzten vor Fett am Ende und mein Magen hat es nicht so gut vertragen.

In Deutschland noch nie so Gut und Authentisch Italienisch zuvor gegessen ! Absolute Empfehlung das Essen schmeckt die Portionen passen und der Service ist sehr kompetent und freundlich. Obwohl der Laden voll war hatten wir sehr schnell essen & trinken am Tisch wir mussten keine 15min warten .

Nette Location, freundliches Personal und schnelle Bedienung. Empfehlenswert!

Best Italian I’ve had in a while, kitchen is authentic you can tell they love food there

War am 02.11. zum ersten mal da. Ich bestellte die Tagliatelle „Fifi“ mit Pfifferlingen. Diese bekommen von mir 10 von 10 Punkten. Anschließend bat ich um ein weiteres Pastagericht und sagte, dass der Koch entscheiden sollte, welches Gericht er mir zubereitet. Man servierte mir dann die „Puttanesca“. Was soll ich sagen?…..dafür gibt es von mir erneut 10 von 10 Punkten. Respekt 👍👏👏👏👏 Ihr habt in mir einen neuen Stammkunden 😉🫶

Ein richtig guter Italiener mit solider guter Küche. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ein bisschen laut, ein bisschen turbulent mit viel Charme und liebenswürdigen Service. Ein Urlaubsabend in Italien.

Authentischer Italiener mit sehr ambitionierte Team. Obwohl wir an einem Ruhetag anriefen für eine Reservierung, würden wir zurück gerufen. Essen war gut und Service flott.

Ein wirklich charmantes, kleines Lokal mit den Klassikern der italienischen Küche - ergänzt durch eine ansprechende Tageskarte. Wir haben uns über Pasta und Pizza bis zum Dessert durch die Karte probiert und waren begeistert. Die Portionen sind wirklich auskömmlich und zeitgemäß angerichtet. Preislich absolut fair. Das Lokal überzeugt insbesondere zur späten Abendzeit mit angenehm-dezenter Beleuchtung und Kerzenschein. Es ist recht laut - also eher etwas fürs 2-3 Date. Gianni und sein Team sind wirklich sehr flott und vorallem sehr herzlich!

Leider hat uns der Besuch mit 6 Personen nicht so gut gefallen. Die Lautstärke im Restaurant war so extrem, dass man teilweise das eigene Wort nicht verstanden hat. Zum Unterhalten kein gelungener Ort. Das Essen war ebenso nicht wirklich berauschend. Der Pizzaboden war so hart, dass man diese nur mit den Fingern essen konnte und die Kartoffeln als Beilage zum Steak mit der Trüffelmayo waren auch absolut nicht geschmackvoll. Vor Jahren hier to go geholt und um ein vielfaches mehr begeistert gewesen. Schade.

Mitarbeiter:innen top! Die Pizza war leider nicht meins & es war leider zu laut. Ich konnte mich kaum unterhalten :-( Die Nudeln waren aber sehr lecker.

Überragender Service und sehr leckeres Essen! Kleiner unscheinbarer Laden auf den ersten Blick. Definitiv ein Besuch wert und wir kommen noch öfters. Lediglich etwas eng die Tische an einem vollen Abend. Sonst alles top und am Abend besser reservieren.

Wir waren gestern mit ca. 20 Personen bei Amalfi essen und sind alle sehr begeistert gewesen. 🤩 Bestellt wurde queer durch die Speisekarte, von diversen Vorspeisen über Salat, Pizza und auch Pasta. Das Essen wurde zeitgleich serviert und hat vorzüglich geschmeckt. Übrig gelassen haben wir nichts, was wirklich für sich spricht! ☺️ Einfach lecker! Preis/ Leistung sind darüber hinaus auch super! Auch die selbst zubereiteten Getränke sind erfrischend lecker. Der Service war hervorragend, es blieb kein Wunsch aus. Die Bedienung war zudem sehr aufmerksam und überhaupt nicht aufwendig. 👍🏻 Das Ambiente ist authentisch und die Musik ist nicht zu laut um sich zu unterhalten.

Wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne hin und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Sehr nettes italienisches Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamen Service und gutem Essen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!

Mhhhhh! ❤️Ich war erstemal dort auf Empfehlung von ganz vielen Freunden und es war köstlich… meine Spaghetti waren mir ein bisschen zu scharf und innerhalb von Minuten hatte ich eine neue Portion von super leckeren Spaghetti 😊 die Pizza meines Mannes war super und das Tiramisu einfach nur köstlich… wir wurden unfassbar nett bedient und kommen gerne wieder!! Jedes Mal, wenn wir hierher kam, war alles großartig! Die Pizzas sind immer lecker. Der Teig ist sehr knusprig umd dünn.👌🏻 Besonders sehr gefällt mir die Kräuterbutter, die vor dem Essen serviert wird. Ich denke, das ist sehr wichtig, es hilft wenn man großen Hunger hat. 😀 Und ihr musst unbedingt olivenöl und balsamico probieren. 👌🏻👌🏻

Das Amalfi muss man nicht nur wegen des köstlichen, liebevoll zubereiteten Essens mögen. Auch das Ambiente und der Service sind ECCEZIONALE. Wenn ihr einen tollen Abend verbringen möchtet, dann wählt das Amalfi. Ein großes Stück Italien mitten in Ehrenfeld. Grazie mile!

Wir waren letzte Woche zu Besuch im Amalfi. Es war sowohl kulinarisch, als auch vom Ambiente her, ein gelungener Abend. Wir hatten jeweils eine Pasta, zusammen eine Pizza und anschließend jeder ein Dessert bestellt und sind von jeder einzelnen Speise absolut begeistert gewesen 🤩!!! Der Service war erstklassig, freundlich und herzlich und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut angemessen. Wir können das Lokal wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend und das leckere Essen!

Früher war es dort besser… Gambas waren total trocken & die Pizza war nicht mehr so wie vor paar Monaten.

Der Besitzer hat wohl gewechselt 🙃 Leider merkt man das sofort☹️ Die Nudeln und die Pizza haben an Qualität verloren .

OMG hier gibt es einfach die Weltbeste Lasagne 🫠😍🤌🏼 Sehr leckerer und gemütlicher Italiener auf der Venloer Straße in Ehrenfeld! Schönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen sowie einem freundlichem Team! Meine Empfehlung: Lasagne - ganz klar! Pizza Bufala, Spaghetti mit Broccoli und Gorgonzola, Gnocchi Sorrentina, Penne Arrabiata 😁

Tolles Personal, gute Pizza, sehr gute eigene Cocktails. Gutes Brot zu Beginn und leckeres Öl/Butter- ist zu empfehlen. Hatte dort mehrmals Pizza und nur einmal war die Caprese ein bisschen „Nass“ und Tomaten ein wenig Geschmacklos aber sonst immer top.

Der Service war nett und freundlich. Die Pizza in Ordnung aber nicht "überragend" - dünner, krosser Teig. Belag war leider geschmacklich nicht im Vordergrund. Die einzelnen Komponenten hoben sich nicht sehr ab.
