Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our visit. We were there on a Sunday evening and were almost alone in the restaurant with our table of eight people – in retrospect, that wasn't surprising. The location is beautiful, but the outside area looks very unkempt, there were spiders hanging from the windows, and overall, everything gave a neglected impression. Much of the interior is also showing its age; the sticky faux leather chairs were truly uncomfortable. The menus were particularly unappealing – many pages were sticky or even torn out, and we had to wash our hands afterward. The food was mediocre at best: dry pizza and a 'carbonara' that bore no resemblance to the original (cream sauce with cooked ham). After reading recent reviews, we saw that there had apparently been a change of management – ​​that would explain a lot. It's a shame; with a little more care and quality, much more could be achieved here.

It's a far cry from the quality of the trattorias of yesteryear! The table wasn't clean, the glass was dirty, and the coffee cup had stains from old coffee. The price/performance ratio was absolutely not right. I've never seen a pizza where only the dough was baked and the toppings were then cold-pressed; in the end, the whole pizza was cold. The pork fillet was served with three potato wedges. When paying, I wasn't willing to tip. The waiter should have given me a few euros, but he quickly pocketed the bills and disappeared...

The menu on the website doesn't match the one on site. The staff rightfully declines our phone order. So we drive there. It's really busy, and we're promised our food in 30 minutes. We wait over an hour. We don't receive an interim order. When we get the bill, we discover that although we paid for a meal, it wasn't ready. Unfortunately, never again...

It used to be our favorite Italian restaurant. New owners, and unfortunately, not really what it was before... Food overpriced, service okay, nothing more. The location is fantastic, and if we're out for a bike ride, we'll definitely stop again. But driving there specifically for dinner in the evening like we have in recent years, probably not. Looking for something new... What a shame

Yes, we celebrated our wedding there!

We stopped after a bike ride because we were hungry. It's a very cozy restaurant, and the service was very friendly, but the portions were so tiny that we drove to the nearest bistro still hungry. I've never had so little on my plate, and I'm a woman and not a big eater. It's a shame I didn't take a photo.

The owner takes action against unwelcome reviews and simply labels anything they don't like as defamation. Google doesn't investigate and immediately blocks the review. Almost no one then bothers to get it reinstated. And even if you do take action and have the review reviewed and reactivated, another complaint comes in a week later, and you have to do it all over again. That's what an honest restaurant owner looks like!

5 stars for the location, but that's the only good thing about this trattoria. Most of us ordered pasta, which was completely tasteless. In the picture, you can see pasta with "pesto" and shrimp, but where the pesto went, I have no idea. It was just pasta with oil and a few herbs, with 4-5 shrimp. And all for a whopping €23! The Bolognese tasted like a ready-made sauce from a jar. The "burrata" was a regular lump of mozzarella on top of 5 sliced cherry tomatoes. The pizza also needed to be seasoned. Furthermore, we had made a reservation for 9 people (2 weeks ago, mind you), and ended up getting a table for 8. A chair was then crammed into the outer corner of the table, which was covered with dirty tablecloths, until, upon request, someone finally brought over a table. No one asked if we wanted anything to drink; our plates were cleared away without comment. I haven't experienced such bad service and such bad food in a long time! It definitely used to be better, and the "quality" probably won't stay the same much longer.

I've rarely experienced such poor service. Terribly unfriendly. The drinks all taste stale, if they have any flavor at all. The dishes come out of a bag and don't correspond at all to the menu description. The focaccia quickly shrinks to 25 cm instead of the stated 40 cm. Too bad. Unfortunately, looking at the Goitzsche doesn't help either. All you can do is briefly distract your eyes from the dirt and cobwebs everywhere.

After our visit yesterday, I can't recommend this place. While the location and surroundings give you a holiday feeling, the service was absolutely terrible. Our meal didn't come with a filling side dish, the kids' pizza didn't have salami, and the rest of the menu was also limited. The icing on the cake was the bill. All dishes were charged at full price. When we asked for a discount for the incomplete meal, the succinct reply was that he would have to pay for it out of his own pocket. We certainly won't be going there again.

To be fair, they were a bit understaffed. But the potatoes were cold, the cauliflower and salmon were partly raw, and the meat and fish dishes were generally lackluster.

The ambiance is great. The service [one person] was overwhelmed. The food was lacking in love, poorly prepared, and completely tasteless. And for the price, too. So I don't know how the 4.6 rating came about. Maybe the chef was having a bad day? We won't be coming back anytime soon.

The tiramisu and pizzas deserve 5 stars; we haven't tried anything else yet.

Price/performance ratio is terrible. As vacationers, we ordered two pizzas, and they were ready on time. The toppings were sparse, but the price was very high; almost €40 for two run-of-the-mill pizzas is simply unreasonable. The card scanner was, of course, broken again.

I had a day off today and, in glorious weather, took my dog on a trip to the Goitsche River, stopping at the trattoria al faro restaurant. The location and ambiance were very good. There was already a dog bowl at our table, which I was very pleased with. Unfortunately, despite asking, it wasn't filled with water. I opted for a pizza with grilled zucchini and eggplant, garlic, tomatoes, and basil. There was no eggplant on the pizza, just raw zucchini, which had been warmed in the oven. The garlic was neither noticeable nor noticeable, and the diced tomatoes made, at best, two slices. After I informed the waitress that the pizza didn't match the menu description, there was no response. The price of over €16.00 is completely unjustified. I won't be visiting the restaurant again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Despite everything, I had a lovely day.

More show than substance. The pasta, unfortunately, was only average. 7.90 for a glass of Pinot Grigio. No reason to repeat. The pizza at the neighboring tables looked very good.

Good food, great service, beautiful location

We went there for lunch today and treated ourselves to a pizza. The portions are generous in my opinion. The service was also extremely friendly, attentive, and courteous, which made the visit even more enjoyable. As it should be! We're already looking forward to our next visit. We were looking forward to a pleasant evening and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was good and tasty. Apart from the view, that was the only positive thing about the evening. The service was abysmal; we were practically ignored. Unfortunately, this also dampens our good mood. We constantly had to ask if we could order anything else, which required making ourselves heard loudly. Sometimes our orders didn't arrive, but we were charged for them. We certainly would have eaten more if we'd had the chance. Unfortunately, no one came by themselves to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. Acquaintances and friends, on the other hand, were warmly welcomed and were even served quickly in pairs. We felt like second-class guests. We weren't the only ones who felt this way with the view across the restaurant. The location and view are fantastic. It's a shame we had to have such an experience.

Sehr schade! Ich habe meinen Mitbegleitern dieses Restaurant „Al Faro“ empfohlen. Unter den neuen Betreibern war ich bereits 2x da und einigermaßen zufrieden. Unser Besuch gestern war unterirdisch, was den Service anbelangt. Essen war ok! Wir wurden einfach vom Service ignoriert „Salvatore“ und sein Kollege im Service waren weder typisch italienisch freundlich, noch haben Sie reagiert, wenn wir nach 3-5 Versuchen deutlich den Service baten, uns nochmals Getränke zu bringen. Wir hätten mehr konsumiert, wenn wir bedient worden wären. Freunde und Bekannte des Service wurden mit 4fach so viel Aufmerksamkeit bedient. Man kam sich vor wie ein Gast 2. Klasse! Schade! Denn die Lage ist sehr gut! Urlaubsfeeling pur! Für mich war das der letzte Besuch! Schade!

We were excited to visit Trattoria Alfaro because we love Italian food and were hoping for a cozy, authentic evening – unfortunately, we were disappointed in almost every respect. 1. Food: Disappointing and not Italian Even the basics are noticeable that the Italian soul is missing here. The spaghetti carbonara came with cream – as is usual in bad pseudo-Italian restaurants. For a restaurant that calls itself a "trattoria," that's a no-go. A real carbonara is made with egg, pecorino, guanciale, and pepper – cream has absolutely no place in it. The espresso didn't improve either: no crema, no aroma, no Italian moment of enjoyment. Despite the portafilter machine, the coffee tasted like it came from a poorly adjusted filter coffee machine. The grind was clearly not right – a shame, because the equipment would have been there. The pizza – also disappointing. In appearance and taste, it was more reminiscent of a thickly topped slice of dough than a traditional Italian pizza. No crispy base, no fluffy crust, no attention to detail. The price was also significantly higher than what would be justified for this quality. The ice cream was okay, but nothing special – not the classic gelato you'd expect from Italian ice cream parlors. 2. Service: Substandard The service was unfriendly, listless, and seemed more annoyed than friendly. Our food was practically "slapped" onto the table – without a smile, without any warmth. We had a small dog with us – and they didn't even offer us a bowl of water. Only after asking did we get something. This kind of treatment seems unloving and distant. 3. Atmosphere: Un-Italian, cold, uncomfortable The atmosphere you expect from a true trattoria – warmth, joie de vivre, the feeling of being welcome – was completely missing. No olive oil on the table, no bread to start with, no "Benvenuto!", no charm. Instead, everything seems calculated: Every little thing costs extra, and you feel more like you're being rushed through than invited to linger. Conclusion: Not recommended Overall, our visit was disappointing. Neither culinary nor humanly, we found anything that would make us return. For a restaurant that claims to be Italian, authenticity, quality, and hospitality are lacking across the board. We won't be back. Anyone seeking true Italian enjoyment should keep looking.

The food was okay, but the value for money was... worse than better! Service was a disaster. We waited about 45 minutes for drinks and food, and unfortunately, the appetizer never arrived at the table—but it was on the bill!? We felt forgotten and unrecognized! But we were still asked for a tip? Next time, we'll try a different Italian restaurant.

Absolutely perfect location with a view of the lake. A lovely terrace where we were warmly welcomed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Of course, this is reflected in the price, but for good food, it's okay. Parking nearby. A hiking and biking trail runs right in front of the house.

We ordered three pizzas to go today and were able to pick them up after 15 minutes. The prices were really high, very close to those of a big city. The location was good, but the quality was unfortunately poor. The mushrooms were burnt, the crust was very dark, and some of the salami was cold. Not cold because it was cooled down, but more like it had never been warmed up. What a shame! The location is great, but it doesn't make up for the lack of quality. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it 😕.

The food selection is very expensive and the quality is poor. I had plastic residue in my food. So, I don't recommend this restaurant. !!!! Please don't order an appetizer platter that isn't listed on the menu!!!!😉

We ordered an appetizer plate. On it were four cold zucchini slices, a cauliflower floret, two broccoli florets, and bell pepper slices, a small piece of mozzarella, six olives, and two slices each of salami and ham, arranged with complete care and no seasoning. All for a hefty price tag of €17.50, which isn't worth it. The appetizer put us off, so we decided not to order anything else. Even in a cafeteria, you get more flavor. We don't usually complain about food, but this was a joke, and we wouldn't eat here again. The staff, however, were friendly.

Ordered a giant pizza, but unfortunately, I got a completely normal pizza for a huge price, and it was completely oversalted. The service was also unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend it! There are much better options in the area.

On May 1, 2025, we dined at your restaurant for lunch with a group of 19 people – consisting of 11 adults and 8 children. We had made a reservation online in advance for 12:30 p.m. To our surprise, however, we were assigned a table in the blazing sun with only 17 seats. Considering the small children and a baby traveling with us, this was not an acceptable option for us. When we inquired, the waiter told us that no umbrellas were available. After speaking with him and another person, whom we assumed was the manager, we were given a suitable table in the dining room – for which we would like to express our gratitude. The waiter also explained to us that he was the only one serving that day and that there might be a longer wait. As a gesture of goodwill, he placed two antipasti platters on the table – without us having ordered them. We initially considered this gesture very thoughtful. Our surprise was all the greater when we looked at the bill: We were charged for twelve antipasti platters at €17.50 each, a total of €210. Especially since the quantity on the two platters was nowhere near what 12 individual platters would have contained. Furthermore, more drinks were listed than we actually ordered and received. Unfortunately, a clarifying conversation was impossible, as the waiter suddenly stated he didn't speak German, and the manager, who had previously been contactable, could no longer be found. Of course, card payments aren't accepted either. According to the reviews, they haven't been for years. Anyone who thinks this is a scoundrel is a scoundrel. A huge tourist trap, definitely not again.

A beautifully located Italian restaurant on Lake Goitzsche with an upscale ambiance. Excellent and fast service, delicious food, and reasonable prices.

We were a large group and felt very welcome. The food was great.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed;-(. The quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The photo shows a plate of assorted fish. A mini portion of 3 charred shrimp, a small piece of salmon and a very small piece of white fish. The potatoes were not fresh and tasted sour. The spinach was generally inedible. The waiter ironically clarified to Dasha when serving the dish that the portion was small. The green pasta that my husband ordered simply stuck together into a homogeneous mass. One star for the beautiful view and location.

Not recommended. The pizza was an absolute disaster. You can't call it pizza! Dry, barely any sauce, barely any cheese, thawed spinach, forgotten ingredients. And I repeat myself... the dough was bone dry... oh, and the service was terrible.

Unfortunately, our experience with this place wasn't that good. We were there on different days. Either card payments weren't accepted, or we had to wait, picked out a few pizzas to take away, and then the manager came and said the pizza oven was broken. We would have also liked a drink at the bar. Our visit always ended at the bar. We then heard from other customers that they had to wait an hour for their order, and they also left the restaurant because they were waiting with children. It's a shame.

We visited for the first time on May 16, 2025, and upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the location and the beautiful view of the Goitzsche River. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't use the beautiful beer garden. However, thanks to the architecture and location, every seat in the restaurant also has a direct view of the lake. Our orders arrived quickly. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend it, and we'll definitely be back.

After eating and receiving the bill, I was horrified to discover that we had been charged 12 antipasti plates for 17.50 euros each. 12 records we didn't order! Drinks were also listed more than ordered and received! When asked, the waiter suddenly couldn't speak German anymore to clarify this. The supposed boss was also no longer available. Our group consisted of 11 adults and 8 children.

Had ordered a table for 3 people for 7 p.m. The view of the Goitzsche is great. Starters (olives, salad, tomato soup) and main courses (various spaghetti, asparagus) were plentiful and tasted in the upper segment. The service was super warm. The ambience is dignified and stylish. It was a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back.

Our Easter Sunday with family was supposed to be nice, but we were deeply disappointed. We cannot recommend Al Faro in any way. - when the weather was great, seating was only offered outside (everything inside was empty - supposedly prepared for an event, but perhaps the seating was missing)...actually nice, but 2.5 hours in the blazing sun (umbrellas were probably not delivered) were unbearable (our umbrella from the car at least gave the older people some shade) - Our reservation from January couldn't be found at first either - We had to wait 30 minutes to order our drinks - Food didn't come for another hour - Service totally hectic; We stood at our table several times asking questions with the wrong food and were completely overwhelmed and without a plan - the quality of the food was a disaster and the money was in no way justified - Leaf spinach - two portioned blocks from the bag, warmed... without spices etc - 3 potato wedges just warm and a joke - cheap fish fillet, sauce mealy - my family's dishes are also of poor quality - Newly arrived guests were placed at tables that hadn't even been cleared yet and had to sit for a long time - The smokers sitting around at the neighboring tables were also unpleasant; People are no longer used to this and should be regulated differently - we found out by chance that card payment was not possible - other guests were faced with a fait accompli All in all, lunch was a total failure, something we've never experienced before - one star for that is actually too much.

The good times seem to be over, what a shame. We had better memories of the place. The service is good, including the nightcap on the house. The food is mixed. Overall a matter of taste. Parking spaces are nearby.

Inviting Italian restaurant right on the shore of the lake, with a very harmonious and cozy atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. You feel transported to Italy for a brief moment, and it doesn't stop with the food. The food is a real eye-catcher and a pleasure on the tongue.

Our first bike tour took us to this very well located restaurant right on the lake. We were warmly welcomed and the food we ordered was on the table super quickly! Unfortunately the lasagna was a bit small for the price, but it tasted great. The freshly tapped beer is also not to be despised! We would come again!

Die Lage am See ist nett, auch wenn das Ganze etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Wir haben einen sonnigen Nachmittag auf der Terrasse verbracht. Die Bedienung war langsam aber zuvorkommend, allerdings wurden mehrfach Teile der Bestellung vergessen. Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht gut. Die Pizza nicht kross und mit billigen Zutaten belegt. Die Pasta al dente aber ziemlich einfallslos. Im Ergebnis: Wer bei schönem Wetter einen netten Tag am See verbringen will ist hier gut aufgehoben, wer gut essen will geht besser woanders hin.

What a shame! The location is absolutely perfect but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. We went for brunch today (there were 20 of us, and we pre-ordered, of course). We received a very unfriendly welcome and the table wasn't fully set. When we asked for sparkling wine, the waiter didn't know where the champagne was and was very annoyed. A little later, the manager came over and at least he was friendly. It took ages before everyone had something to drink. The food was good though and tasted good. The table wasn't cleared and you practically had to beg and wait a long time for more drinks. It was supposed to be a nice birthday party but we are just disappointed and definitely won't be back. A lot needs to be done there; there are lots of tripping hazards on the terrace. The price/performance ratio was very disappointing; for the price, we would have expected better service. It's a mystery to us how a restaurant can be run like this.

Beautiful ambience inside and out

Absolutely NOT recommended for family celebrations! We were invited here for lunch with about 20 people for our grandmother's 95th birthday. The location right on the lake is wonderful, but when we walked in, the area separated from the main restaurant was very poorly decorated. After about 40 minutes, a waiter came to take our drinks – mind you, one of us had asked for them beforehand. We had to go back and ask for each additional drink. The appetizer platters arrived after a good 1.5 hours – these had been pre-ordered when we made the reservation. After a little over 2 hours of really bad service, our food finally arrived... some of it cold, wrong, extremely salty, or even undercooked... it was terrible. One star is already one too many for this.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. The location is great, the decor tasteful and cozy. The staff was friendly. The food, however, was unfortunately only mediocre, especially for the price. We had spaghetti carbobara; the pasta was okay, but the sauce wasn't particularly delicious. And a pizza margarita, unfortunately without fresh basil. Not bad, but not amazingly tasty for the price. It's a shame. Of course, a friendly server, a pretty interior, and a great location are nice, but the most important thing about a restaurant for me is that the food tastes great. And there's still room for improvement.

Price and quality don't match. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Waiting times are very long in my opinion. In terms of taste, you can't expect anything here. The crowning glory were olives with stones and pepperoni with stems on the pizza. It's a good thing I have a good dentist. The child's pizza was forgotten and then it wasn't available because the pizza oven was off for some reason. Not all drinks on the menu were available. The great view of the lake unfortunately doesn't make up for that. Unfortunately, we don't recommend it; we definitely won't be back.

Al Faro used to be a very good restaurant. After my last visits, I have to revise that opinion. Firstly, the food was poor, and secondly, basic dishes and ingredients were missing (e.g., non-alcoholic beer or arugula). The owners are obviously overwhelmed. A real shame!

Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with professional gastronomy. We attended a registered family celebration there for coffee and dinner. The waiter barely came to take drinks and food, which isn't a waste of money and doesn't win regular customers. We were constantly left with nothing. The cakes were made of the cheapest frozen goods and charged at prices higher than a pastry shop. The same thing happened at dinner; the value for money is absolutely terrible. The pizzas were very greasy, carbonara with cream sauce, the dishes and cutlery weren't completely clean, and no card payments are accepted. However, the staff doesn't point this out, only a relatively small sign at the entrance. The icing on the cake is that the entire staff is leisurely eating pizza at the next table (i.e., in the dining room) in the afternoon, and then in the evening, there are none of the non-alcoholic beers or Diet Coke listed on the menu. These could easily have been purchased in the afternoon, especially since we were the only table for a long time that afternoon, so it was anything but full. We won't be back!

We were there for dinner with the family on December 25th (reservations were made). When we arrived, it was already clear from the waiters' assurances that today would be a disaster. A total of 4 employees for about 100 guests. No Christmas decorations on the tables. The table setting was carelessly set. But the best part was the buffet food. It was cold and there wasn't nearly enough food for all the guests present. Drinks had to be ordered at the bar at the end. No one came to the table. There wasn't even enough cutlery. And the used plates weren't cleared away. It's a shame about a restaurant in this location with these owners. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told he wasn't there. Then just close your business for Christmas. I've rarely experienced anything so bad. And the best part is, they only accept cash. It could be better. Unfortunately, not in this restaurant.

On the phone, we were told to order from the menu. When we arrived, only buffet food was available. No vegetarian options were available. Very unfriendly staff. Not recommended.

We then had to transfer money on site. Absolutely below all cannon. Thank you for nothing for Christmas.

Drinks were served after asking twice, about 40 minutes later. Upon inquiry, it was mentioned that there was a buffet, which no one had expected. This wasn't communicated when making the reservation. It should be noted that there was no further contact with the waiter during our stay. The buffet wasn't refilled and simply looked plundered and empty after the other, equally astonished guests had finished their meals. There was no decoration, nothing at all—absolutely characterless. Everything that was supposed to be warm was lukewarm at best. Not even new plates were provided upon request. I would be ashamed to serve my guests something like that for €39.90 per person. Plates weren't cleared, which is why all the unoccupied tables in the restaurant were full of used dishes, as people had to make room on the table somehow. I hope the owner and the service staff reconsider their career choices. Something without human contact would certainly be good. It's absolutely outrageous to charge this kind of money. Any fast food place would have been nicer than this disastrous restaurant visit. Unfortunately, I can't give this place anything less than 1 star.

We received a very friendly welcome and were given the royal chairs, the atmosphere is very nice. The food was brought promptly and tasted excellent. In addition to the carbonara, we also had a gnocci dish and a pizza, all three dishes were very tasty.

The ambience could also be on Sylt. Beautiful view like on vacation. Service was also very accommodating. Food, well, that's why I wouldn't come back. All good, just nothing special.

Despite the fantastic weather, the outdoor area was not prepared, the furnishings were completely careless, and there was no bottle of wine to buy in the restaurant!!! Open wine was undrinkable...food and service was ok, but below average...sorry, but that was absolutely nothing..

This was simply removed from Google ……very questionable, it has never happened to me ….. they tried very hard, friendly, great location, nice atmosphere, with the change of operator certainly an enrichment for Lake Goitzschesee, Essen….

Location It's a nice place with a beautiful view, but unfortunately the food wasn't brought to us until after an hour. It seemed like they were all very overwhelmed, our starter plate still hadn't been picked up after half an hour. Not recommended

The ambience of the restaurant is special. However, in this rather expensive restaurant, the waiter should clear the tables quickly after the guests have left. We sat at a dirty table for quite a while and then changed because the table wasn't cleared even though the waiter visibly did nothing. Unfortunately, the view of the lake was much worse here. The food was very good, appropriate for the price. Unusually, for an Italian restaurant, there was no 'starter', on the house and after the meal, no offer of a small drink. We knew it differently.

This is not about renting rooms, but about the restaurant 'trattoria al faro'! The location could be called 'perfect': with a view of Lake Gotschesee and the sunset, sitting on the glass-lined terrace really feels like you're in another world. A small pond with koi, the Italian-style decoration, gently humming southern music and the food give you a real break from everyday life. And if you're looking for a beach feeling, just go across the street to the 'Al Faro Beach Bar' with lunges, beach loungers, cocktails, lounging areas and a swimming area...

The atmosphere is nice and the location by the lake is really great. Unfortunately, the food was completely disappointing. I had expected much more from the Italian. The prices are not justified for food of such poor quality. The service is very bad. The waiter seems to have lost track and makes guests wait before they can order something. No parmesan is served with spaghetti carbonara. Salt and pepper are missing. Also, there was no oil. The oil, pepper and salt only came when asked. I recommend not going as it is not good. Save your money.

Even the 1 star is too much! Absolutely underground! Extremely bad service as far as blickig and co are concerned, they are nice but that doesn't make it any better. The food was a disaster for the price, minimini portions, the meat was not asked about the degree of doneness and then you get absolutely bloody meat as a medium eater (not an isolated case at the table), it was fried but that wasn't really tasty either. The fish platter was a joke. Every starter is bigger. The pasta was also 0815. Pizza was ok. No card payment!!! Without any clues beforehand, we had to go to the bank again! Never again, no matter how nice you sit! If nothing changes in the operator and staff, which is the impression the restaurant has given me for at least 10 years, you can save yourself the money to eat there.

Delicious food, nice ambience. The two nice waiters were really busy because of an unusual colleague. They handled it brilliantly. This also excuses the slightly longer wait.

Unfortunately I have to join the ranks of negative reports. Reservation worked. When we arrived we didn't have to wait for the menu or the order. But now to the negative: The beer was served warm. When we asked, we were assured that the temperature would be adjusted...none The food tasted good - the size of the portions is certainly debatable. However, our rump steaks were served with the wrong ingredients. When asked, the waiter shrugged his shoulders and simply left. That hasn't happened to me either. We left afterwards - with a quick stop at the nearby savings bank. When you enter the restaurant from the side, you are not informed that there is no option to pay by card.

Heute waren wir leider nicht mit dem Essen zufrieden, der Lachs war viel zu trocken, im Spinat war eine Unmenge Knoblauch und für ein Gericht von über 24 € kann man schon verlangen, dass es passt. Ich hatte Spaghetti bestellt, bekommen habe ich Bandnudeln, in meiner Bestellung sollte eigentlich Rucola und Zucchini sein, was man beides suchen musste, vom Rucola war ein einziges Blatt drin, die Zucchini war auch sehr übersichtlich... Was vielleicht noch zu erwähnen wäre, es war so um die Mittagszeit gegen 13:30 Uhr es waren genau 3 Tische besetzt, dass heißt der Koch konnte also auch nicht überfordert gewesen sein...

Stayed here twice during our stay in Pouch. Both times the service was wonderful. The staff are very hospitable and respond to special requests. The restaurant is very neat and stylishly decorated. The toilets are well maintained. If we happen to be in the area again, we will definitely come here again.

Unfortunately the owner has changed and our visit to this Italian restaurant was very disappointing. The service leaves a lot to be desired, we didn't even get half of the drinks we ordered. We were in a larger group and unfortunately we can no longer recommend the restaurant.

🐕friendly Very good Italian cuisine right on the banks of the Goitzsche, service okay, it took a moment for the waiter to look up from his cell phone and seat us, the chef's recommendations that lured us in were all there, not on a Monday, the starters of carpaccio and fish soup were super good , the pasta unfortunately had too much sauce for the Bolognese and too little for the carbonara, only ham. All in all exquisite prices, exquisite location, service and food can be even better.

A nice place to stay, not far from the Goitzsche. Our bad luck was that we were part of a birthday party of around 20 people. Too much for the existing staff, who also had to serve all the other tables. We were able to order drinks after an hour. The beer wasn't cold enough and always had no head. The water was nice and cold, but the glasses provided were dirty. The food was only lukewarm and the portions were far too small. The 2nd gear can be seen in the picture. Pasta and vegetarian pizza. We shared this among 7 people! First there was a little antipasta, then a simple small piece of meat and fish. Potatoes were also said to have been there, nothing else. By small, I mean small. Both fit neatly on my small plate. By the way, you can also see this plate in the photo. Antipasta went over this plate. Pasta and this fish. The plate then remained there until the birthday party was broken up. But there they stood in good company with empty glasses. That's what I call sustainable gastronomy. No dessert. It was still a nice evening, but they didn't contribute anything to it. I could now go on to say that despite pre-ordering we weren't expected, that the menu we ordered wasn't available, etc.

Very elegantly furnished ambience and friendly staff. The food tasted and looked very good. The selection of drinks is also very good. Some types of beer and wine. There are also a number of mixed drinks to choose from. Only fresh ingredients are used. We can highly recommend the restaurant. Our two four-legged friends were also very welcome.

Einen Besuch kann man sich sparen. Wir hofften auf einen tollen Abend in einem wundervollen Ambiente. Das Ambiente stimmte, alles andere eher weniger. Bei knapp 30 Grad bekamen wir warme Getränke in sehr verschmutzten Gläsern, die Vorspeisenplatte hielt auch nicht was sie lt. Karte versprach, der Geschmack unserer Hauptgerichte war ok und die Creme Brulee war eine Katastrophe. Unsere leeren Getränkegläser wurden vom Service nicht bemerkt, nach Ewigkeiten mussten wir den Kellner heran winken um nochmals Getränke bestellen zu können, die dann ebenfalls wieder in sehr dreckigen Gläser serviert wurden. Ebenso erging es uns als wir zahlen wollten, kein Service kam und fragte, wir mussten an den Tresen gehen um Bescheid zu geben. Dann stellte sich noch heraus, dass nur Barzahlung möglich war, hätte man ja bei der telefonischen Reservierung schon sagen können. Die Aussicht auf die Goitsche echt toll, die viel zu hohen Preise für die mittelmäßig schmeckenden Speisen sehr unangebracht. SCHADE, in solch einer Lage kann man viel besseres draus machen.

We reserved a table by phone, which also worked without any problems over the phone. After we arrived at the restaurant the first thing we said was: Please wait, you will be seated! It took a full 5 minutes before anyone came to help us, even though two waiters walked past us at least twice. That made us suspicious, but we were hungry and wanted to try it. While we were waiting we saw a table with 4 complete meals on it, untouched and no guests. It's strange. Sitting at the table, the two waiters ran past several times without reacting to us in any way, no card, no question, nothing. It was only after another drink was ordered at the table next to us that we were “noticed”. The waiter came to us and asked if we wanted to order something. We: “Yes, but we need the card,” which was then brought to us. After 15 minutes of waiting without the waiter showing up again, we decided that we didn't want to sit there unnoticed and wait forever for the food. We left and definitely won't be appearing again.

Today at 2 p.m. we went to the beach bar, which looked inviting from the outside, and without a friendly smile or hello we were barked at: We have a break until 4 p.m.!!! Us: Oh, what time is it? The boss: I don't know, we have a company now! And all of this without even looking at us. For that reason alone they don't deserve our money. Outside, 8 other guests came by bike who wanted a nice cold drink. We have our experience equal to the power of duplication. Now we are all sitting in a beach bar about 1.5 km away. It was the third time we wanted to give this location a chance, everyone has a bad day. Thanks for the insight! We would have been very annoyed to leave our money there. Italian restaurant at Lake Goitzschesee. We went on a short trip specifically. Very nice restaurant with an outside terrace. Surroundings wonderful. We didn't regret the approx. 120 km journey.
