Very nice staff, very accommodating to the dog. A bowl of water and a small bag of treats were brought straight away. The food was very nicely prepared and tasted very, very good. The dishes also looked very appealing to other guests. The prices are reasonable.

Tables cannot be put together if there are 11 people and the restaurant is half full. Too bad.

Even though we only stopped here briefly to have a drink, the stay was very nice and the drinks (cucumber and herbal soda on tap) can honestly be recommended. The father also seemed to like the local beer - and that has to say something! Great ambience and nice shady outdoor area.

Not recommended - apart from a comfortable seat, there's nothing to be had here. Addendum - Yes! I am sure that I ate in the “traditional inn”. However, the food did not taste traditional or skilful. The kitchen resembles a bad school cafeteria. Lapped potatoes, warmed red cabbage etc. and all for prices where you can almost expect star cuisine. Price/performance doesn't fit at all!

Nice beer garden. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Prices reasonable. Tip: Try the cucumber fizz.

Delicious regional dishes. Everyone will find something for themselves. Fish with potato salad and lentils - wonderful. Quark with linseed oil and potatoes - delicious. I recommend!!

At Kaufland you could get the same meal for a fraction of the price. All the dishes we tried as a group were absolutely not worth the money. Unfortunately, family recipes come from the freezer. Absolute tourist trap. But water next door looks good ;)

Our highlight was that we got there at half past six and were very reluctantly sent away by a very rude waiter because they closed at 8 p.m. For us, that was it with this “hospitable” pub.

One of the few places to have salad. But it's really expensive. A plate with kind of small salad /half plate was 17€. Overpriced...I thought I would be enough eating but I almost ordered 2 salads.. The service it's ok, some people kind of ignore that I was waiting to order, but in the end those who appeared was sympathetic. The place is huuuge so many sits and you can be inside or outside..

There is no relationship between price and performance. We had the brawn with fried potatoes, which was absolutely subpar. Half-cooked, limp potatoes and 3 thin slices of brawn...all in all a cost of goods of €4 and a selling price of €18.90. The atmosphere is nice, the service is OK but the food is extremely overpriced and not recommended.

At half past nine we were rejected in many restaurants, even though they were still open and we just wanted a glass of champagne. Here, however, we were warmly welcomed and served. Great service!

A really great restaurant in the harbor of Lübbenau. I've been coming to you for years, the cucumber goulash is incredibly tasty. The service is very nice and on point. I can recommend the restaurant to everyone!

A large, but still cozy restaurant with very nice staff. Even though the restaurant was busy, there was only a short wait for food and drinks. The dishes were regional and very tasty.

Tasty, but a little cheaper. The vanilla apple cake is highly recommended! Unfortunately, only Pepsi-Cola is served here, who likes that?!

A restaurant opposite is rated negatively as “the best ones are NOT close to the water”. This one successfully provides counter-evidence. Both the service and the food cannot be faulted. Only in the "cucumber pot" was there not enough lard for the 2 slices of bread. ;-) All in all, it is fully recommended and the true flagship in the port! It will definitely be the first choice for dinner on your next visit.

Average German cuisine, great outdoor atmosphere and nice waitrons. I’d recommend checking out a smaller place unless you want to relax outside with some drinks - in which case this is a great option. Sadly the spare rib special of the day was dry, it was paired with spicy tomato sauce and bread.

Always tried, but never again!!! We reserved a table for 20 people for our birthday. Unfortunately we had to sit at two different tables and were therefore very disappointed. When we asked if we could sit at a table, which wasn't a problem... The host/owner is very arrogant and literally gave the reason: 'Because I say so'. There is no attempt to do justice to the guest. The waiters' hands are tied. The food is nothing special. The draft beer room temperature. Therefore 0/5 stars.

It was our first time there with our dog and we barely sat down. And our dog was given water and treats beforehand. We were completely satisfied.

Unfriendly reception! I had a breakdown and just wanted to quickly clean my hands and went to the inn. Then the boss came to me grumpily. I explained my situation to him and he reluctantly let me go to the toilet. Since it took me a little longer to wash, he probably thought that I must have left a really big deal and used a lot of toilet paper. But of course this was not the case! When I wanted to leave the restaurant, the boss was standing at the exit and said with a dark expression: "But that's 1€!". I gave him this euro. Not that he's making a loss because of me and will soon have to sleep under the bridge. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!! I can only advise against stopping there. In general, I had the feeling that the tourists in this little town were completely overwhelmed.

The service is good, but unfortunately I can only give the food 2 stars. The dish was schnitzel with asparagus (Hollandaise sauce) and potatoes. Asparagus and potatoes were good, but unfortunately the schnitzel had no taste. The meat of friends and wife was also not good. Conclusion: Okay for a drink and a dessert, I would choose another restaurant next time for dinner.

We were here for lunch and the chili cucumber in batter is highly recommended. The service is simply great.

The food is not very tasty but extra expensive... Terrace is very nice.

The food itself was tasty, just a bit overpriced for the portion size. We had chicken steak, which unfortunately had a lot of skin on it, and cucumber pan, although the bread was already dry. The fact that you have to wait to be placed while others just sit down, climb over the fence, etc. was also somehow frustrating. The waiters were nice and tried hard, but they don't have enough knowledge of German (yet) and the waiting time was also quite long. In some cases, guests who arrived after us were served sooner. Our absolute highlight was the XXL cream puff. Cream and choux pastry are definitely homemade, it wasn't too sweet and with delicious sour cherries. 5/5 stars for this.

After we came across the advertisement for the giant cream puffs, we couldn't see each other again and decided to return to 4th on the spur of the moment. full of anticipation, we were served the cream puffs quickly after our order... the anticipation of the first thing was huge - but it quickly became very disappointing! The cream puff itself was frozen and poorly thawed, the dough was completely watery and the cream had no sweetness at all and only had a watery taste. When we “complained” about this, two other service staff were sent to us one after the other who wanted/should convince us of the opposite (?)! When we asked to speak to the boss, a somewhat annoyed gentleman came and responded to us with little understanding... only after I pointed out that I make choux pastry myself and that I know the difference between frozen goods and freshly prepared choux pastry, because this He emphasized several times - it was freshly made, he took all 4 plates with the giant cream puffs from the table and left our table with the words: "... strange that this is the first complaint about it *today*(!)..." - he came not back either. Here we would have expected at least something like regret or apology - as good restaurateurs should... because we had asked for a solution and were simply left standing by him! We then wanted to pay, but they literally ignored us for 20 minutes and kept turning away from us. … until a young, friendly service person (hence the 2 ⭐️) accepted our payment request… I think for 10€ and above, depending on the variation of the cream puff, you can expect reasonable quality!!! When dealing with customer complaints, the “boss” in particular should question his or her behavior and, if necessary, learn to take customer complaints seriously and react appropriately! It's a shame... but I don't think anything will change in this matter, as there are many tourists who won't open their mouths - so in our eyes it's just a highly overpriced price for poor quality goods = ripping off tourists! But maybe we were just unlucky that day...

Today we were in this very beautiful and quiet beer garden for the first time, which is located directly at the Great Harbor. We only had beer and an apple strudel, so I can't say much about the dishes. But...the staff was very attentive and friendly.

Portions very clear, schnitzel was more like a medallion for 25.90 simply plated. Taste okay. Service on point👍🏻 Atmosphere cozy.

You can't beat the willingness to help! On Friday we were guests and on Saturday we had to pay €1 for toilet use to cool an insect bite. The waiter had confirmed to the very friendly boss that we were guests... Such management should not be supported... shame on you -> Reaction to the answer... I spoke to the waiter who served me the day before... (I'll save myself any further explanation for the protection of the staff) But as a boss you probably don't trust the judgment of the staff... put second 6. The afternoon in the brewery was wonderful! (44 people) was worth one €.

The inn is centrally located right by the harbor and my first thought was that this must be a tourist spot and I wasn't expecting too much. However, I was very positively surprised here. April attracts sunshine in the very large but cozy garden; there aren't too many guests there at this time of year. The waitress came very quickly with a menu and took the drink request. The menu isn't too extensive, but that's a good sign, the classic Spreewald specialties are all represented and there was the Grützwurst with sauerkraut. Everything was very tasty, the portion was generous but not overwhelming. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive, you can also pay by card. My experience at another restaurant nearby made me decide to go to "Zum Grüne Strand der Spree" two more times and enjoyed the really delicious asparagus.

We have had delicious meals here several times and have never been disappointed. 1a- dishes that are magically prepared and taste very good. Ambiance and service always top.

Eating yeast pancakes tasted good only on a cold plate, it wasn't that great and that for 2 pieces. €7.50 and our friend had a baked potato that was also cold for almost €18.00. What a shame

Nice again. Food was very good. Beef roll with red cabbage and dumplings. Everything homemade, delicious. The price is completely reasonable considering the quality. The staff very polite, friendly and accommodating.

The following dish was ordered: Kassler baked in horseradish dough with fried potatoes and Spreewald gherkins. Sounds delicious. What came, however, was an approximately 5mm thick slice of smoked pork, which, with rind, was dipped into a thin batter and then fried in a pan. So the assumption is, maybe it was thrown straight into the deep fryer. A small spoonful of horseradish was smeared onto this horrible piece of frying fat. So this is horseradish dough?? In any case, nothing was baked there. That much is certain. The cucumbers - 2-3 different ones - just tasted like salt. That may be a matter of taste, but we had previously tasted such indescribably delicious cucumbers... and so we knew there was another way. The tragedy was completed by fried potatoes dripping with fat. I wonder how often you have to warm these up so that they become so soft and limp and so wet. A nightmare. This dish was then charged for a flirty €21.90. My friend got the so-called “Schwerdtner’s cucumber goulash”…. what can I say ? a nightmare. We were very hungry and so she ate about half of it. I didn't write down the price for this dish and therefore don't want to estimate it here, but to put it briefly: This restaurant is, at least as far as our visit there was concerned, a rip-off at the highest level. As a consolation, however, we got some really delicious quark balls a few houses away!! But that will be a different review.

I was attracted by the beautiful summery garden of this restaurant, so we decided to eat dinner there. The outdoor area is spacious and there is a lot of greenery around, I particularly found the corn hanging from the ceiling very cute. Most of the food on the menu is traditional German. We got the fried Kassler, which is a breaded cut of pork, served with a side of traditional roasted potatoes, horse radish, and local pickled cucumbers. The other dish was a pike-perch fish fillet, served with a side of lentils and German potato salad with dill and herbs. The food was really tasty it exceeded my expectations. The fish tasted very fresh and the Kassler was crunchy on the outside and the meat was soft and had a slightly smokey flavor. We ordered a giant German Windbeutel, which is basically a profiterole filled with whipped cream and cherry, it was huge, we struggled to finish it. The service was acceptable overall giving the touristy nature of the restaurant's location, I believe this is a decent option to dine around the area. The restaurant delivers on most of the categories. It was an enjoyable dinner

During our visit we encountered very friendly service, a well-kept restaurant with very good, tasty food. Regional cuisine? Sure, of course! A clean sanitary area is just as much a given here as water for dogs with a treat... We really enjoyed it and would love to come back for dinner! Thanks to the team! Winter again – we’re back! Bedienung und Essen sehr gut. Alle Angestellte sind sehr freundlich.

Leckeres Essen, guter Service und angenehme Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorzuheben auch die individuellen Toiletten. Auch Sonderwünsche werden gern erfüllt. Die beiden jungen Männer, die uns bedient haben, haben einen ausgezeichneten Job gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr netter Kellner , Essen eher durchschnittlich, aber preislich völlig in Ordnung.

Recht teuer, Getränke waren gut, gegessen haben wir aufgrund der hohen Preise nix.

Waren vom Ambiente und der Gastlichkeit sehr angetan und rundeten mit ein leckeren Abendessen, was wirklich eine Gaumenfreude war unseren Spreewaldurlaub in diesem Lokal ab. Kommen gerne wieder .

Sehr schönes Lokal mit regionalen Gerichten. Wer möchte kann auch im Außenbereich mit Blick zum Haupthafen eine Pause einlegen.

Also Essen wurde per Bus Kaiser bestellt auf fahrt, es war 10.00 Uhr. Nach Kremserfahrt mussten wir 45 Minuten auf Essen warten. Es war lauwarm, die Sülze ist bestimmt nicht Hausgemacht und die Portionen Kassler, Sülze,... sind für das Geld sehr klein. Es gab auch keine Beilage Kleiner Salat, Rohkost, Tomate Gurke dafür nur einen mini Klecks Sauerkraut. Essen aber schmeckt, ehrlich hole ich mir lieber ne Roster hab ich mehr davon und sättigt.

Wir sind jedes Jahr ein verängertes Wochenende im Spreewald. Wir essen mindestens 2mal dort. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Hier wird man immer wieder freundlich bewirtet und der Chef packt hier noch mit selber an, Klasse. Essen und Ambiente einfach urig, gemütlich und direkt am Hafen, ideal für eine Rast. Sehr zu empfehlen das Rumpsteak auf heißem Stein, zum selber zubereiten. Tolle Idee und keiner kann sich beklagen dass das Steak falsch zubereitet wurde und spart für die Küche viel Aufwand und Zeit.👍 Wir kommen immer wieder gern...

An diesem Ort im Garten mit schattigen Plätzen den Lübbenau-Tag zu beenden, war eine sehr gute Idee. Der Fährmanns-Toast war ausgezeichnet, knackig frisch und reichhaltig! Der Apérol Spritz irgendwie zu süß, dafür haben wir völlig gratis Extra-Eis bekommen, das wir neben Kühlung als Verdünnung einsetzten 😉. Unbedingt den Gurkenschnaps probieren! Die jungen Servicekräfte waren so eifrig - es war schön zu spüren, wie sie sich engagieren möchten.

Vor Ort bin ich mit Kollegen + Kolleginnen gewesen . Wir hatten einen Betriebsausflug ... im Vorfeld unternahmen Grüppchen ihre gebuchten Optionen auf dem Wasser oder per Beine . Der Abschluss und Treffpunkt ist besagte Gastlichkeit gewesen . Wir haben allerdings vorbestellt , da es sich um knapp 100 Kollegen + Kolleginnen gehandelt hat und wir dem Team Raum und Zeit für Vorbereitungen geben wollten . Das Essen und der Service sind super gewesen . Auch das gepflegte Ambiente im Außenbereich möchte ich erwähnen . Definitiv ein Einkehren wert !! PS sehr gepflegte und kultige WC's !! 😉😊

Wir haben eine große Rundfahrt mit der Molly gemacht (absolut zu empfehlen) und sind dann kurz in das Gasthaus eingekehrt. Ebenfalls zu empfehlen.

Genial als Ausgangspunkt für eine Spreewaldkahnfahrt

Es sah nach einem sehr schönen Ambiente aus, leider wurden wir unfreundlich empfangen. Wir waren 15Personen, der Laden war leer, und es wurde uns nicht gestattet, zwei Tische zusammenzuschieben. Da sind wir weitergezogen.

Essen ehr Nüchtern, Quarkkartoffeln mit 2 Dressings die leider überhaupt nicht Harmonieren. Service war gut.

Wsr sehr gutes und leckeres Essen und schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Preise für das gehobene Ambiente und Touristenmagnet in Ordnung.

Total schönes Retaurant. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet mit super viele Pflanzen und Bäumen. Man fühlt sich als ob man irgendwo im Wald sitzt. Die Bedienung ist super nett wirkt sehr professionell. Hab schon lange nicht mehr erlebt das die Getränke und das Essen von rechts eingedeckt wird. Das essen ist Spreewaldtypische Hausmannskost, und es hat uns alles geschmeckt. Die Preise sind nicht überteuert, aber ebend an den Tourismus angepasst. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
