Gasthaus Spreewaldeck in Lübbenau/Spreewald

Getränke waren sehr gut, das Essen leider nicht so, das Nierenragout war in Ordnung, das Steak war sehr zäh und trocken. Nachdem das Essen gebracht wurde, wurden wir ignoriert und saßen 30 Minuten mit leeren Gläsern.

Das Hotel ist bestimmt ganz gut..etwas in die Jahre gekommen..aber sauber und ordentlich. Leider kann ich nur für uns sprechen ..und möchte anmerken, dass es uns nach dem Verzehr der bestellten Gerichte nicht gut ging und exrreme Darmprobleme hatten. 1.Gericht: Bandnudeln in Sahnesauce mit Spargel und das 2.Gericht: Nierchenragout mit Kartoffelstampf (Das Ragout war absolut ungenießbar, da die Soße exrrmst nach Urin gerochen hat..Trotz meiner Beschwerde, warum dieses Nierchenragout so riechen würde sagte man mir, dass es immer so wäre..jedes vernüftige Restaurant hätte das Gericht sofort zurückgenommen und dem Gast was anderes empfohlen leider war das nicht der Fall und eine Preisreduzierung wurde auch nicht angeboten Habe das Gericht fast unangerührt stehen lassen. Vielen Dank für diesen schlechten Service.

Nur zufällig auf dem Weg vom Bahnhof auf ein Bier im gemütlichen Garten vorbeigekommen - leider waren wir schon satt, denn die Speisekarte ist eine Fundgrube: Wo findet man noch Wels oder Nierchenragout! Auch Kalter Hund. Und dazu eine wirklich professionelle Cocktailkarte. Drinnen ein Gastraum wie er auch in Franken sein könnte, herrlich urig und voller lokalen Stammgäste. Die Kellnerinnen waren herzlich, auf Zack und im positivsten Sinne "vom alten Eisen". Da müssen wir unbedingt nochmal mit Hunger hin.

Wir waren an einem eisigen Winterabend (Montag) in Lübbenau unterwegs auf der Suche nach etwas leckerem zu Essen. Es war schon fast 21 Uhr und das Gasthaus ,,Spreewaldeck" hat uns trotz der späten Stunde herzlich begrüßt und uns ein sehr leckeres Essen serviert! Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und es standen sogar frische Blümchen auf allen Tischen in kleinen Vasen. Zum Abschied bekamen wir noch eine Glücksmünze vom Spreewaldeck :-). Vielen Dank. Wir kommen bei einem unserer nächsten Lübbenau-Besuche wieder!

Absolut fantastisch!!! Ich komme wieder

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant mit regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Über viele Jahre und unzählige Besuche hinweg ist das Spreewaldeck immer noch eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich glaube, ich habe jedes regionale Gericht probiert, und sie sind alle köstlich. Die Steakplatte mit regionalen Spezialitäten ist mein liebstes deutsches Abendessen. Und habe ich schon das lokale Bier erwähnt?

This was our third time staying at this beautiful property, and we are always delighted. Everything is arranged with great attention to detail. The food is plentiful and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen! The service staff is always attentive, and we commend them as well. The breakfast buffet is very varied. Thank you for being there! We will definitely be back! 😊

We had a lovely, entertaining evening with friends (9 people). The service staff was very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were perfect for us.

A friendly welcome, a very clean and well-equipped room with a great bed and a new bathroom. The restaurant is certainly a bit dated visually (no more rustic oak furniture these days), but everything is very clean, charmingly decorated, and nothing is lacking. The menu is truly excellent, with a wide selection of regional dishes. The food, like at all the neighboring tables, was tasty and piping hot. The service was very friendly and competent. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit high, undoubtedly due to the current situation. All in all, I would gladly return and highly recommend this establishment.

Very delicious 👍🏼The only meal I finished in Germany

We were a small tour group from a Berlin school. Although we arrived with significantly fewer colleagues than planned, we were accommodated without any problems. The food in the restaurant was average but okay. The prices, however, are outrageous. A bottle of Rotkäppchen wine for €22 is simply unacceptable. UNESCO isn't knocking on our door yet to declare Rotkäppchen an East German World Heritage Site. The rooms are simple but fine. On our departure day, we were told that they were glad we were leaving. We had allowed ourselves to stand in the parking lot across from the hotel on the day of arrival and have a drink. We were neither quiet nor loud, just a normal volume with occasional laughter. On the second day, we sat for about 90 minutes in the hotel's beer garden across the street. There was no service there, but it wasn't closed. There were ten of us, much quieter than the day before, and we went to our rooms shortly after 10 p.m. The next morning, a colleague was snapped at, saying we were too loud and that they were glad we were leaving. Yes, we were louder than the other retirees present, that's true. But we weren't a group of 21-year-old partygoers, partying the night away. We chatted, laughed, and had a bit of fun, but it was all within reason. I paid €280 for two nights, only to be told they were glad we were leaving. Unprofessional is a charming way of putting it!

Unfortunately, I didn't eat at the restaurant, which I would have loved to! In short: I had made an external reservation for September 13, 2025, but unfortunately, my guests absolutely changed their minds, so I politely called. Immediately after saying "Hello" and expressing my deepest apologies, the lady hung up, saying, "...Don't make any more reservations and don't call again, I'll take you out..." What a shame ☹️

The service was apparently overwhelmed. The starter came with my wife's main course. I didn't get anything at first. Then I was asked what I had ordered, and it turned out my food had been forgotten. They apologized several times, and then offered a free coffee. Then came the salad that was part of the main course, but not the main course. The salad was finished, and then finally the main course arrived. I don't think it's standard, but it was awkward because my wife had to eat alone, and when she was finished, I could start eating.

The food was terrible; the potatoes were just watery and the beef brisket with horseradish sauce was inedible. We weren't even asked if everything was alright or if the food was good.

Yes. Plenty of food, for both big and small appetites. A small selection of cakes and ice cream.

The food was okay, nothing more, nothing less. If you compare the prices on the menu now with those of previous years (knowing full well that everything has gone up in price), it's borderline awful. I was particularly annoyed by the way the older lady took great pleasure in constantly criticizing the little Polish lady, who was obviously quite new there, and then she and her second German colleague behind the bar exploited it and made fun of it. At our table and at least at the table next to us, it was viewed as completely unprofessional. It's not my place to judge how you feel about folding napkins or precisely arranging a chair, so I'm just rating the way the explanation was given.

We sat outside and were not particularly politely informed that ordering food would probably take at least an hour. A good tip in and of itself, but it was somehow strange because people were happy that they only ordered drinks.

Very good food, cozy and friendly and especially if the weather permits in the beer garden. A stop is always worth it.

The price definitely doesn't match the quality of the food. The pasta casserole was still floating in the pasta water, but the salt was forgotten because of the taste. This also means that every ready meal tastes better. Bone remains could still be found in the root meat. All in all a disappointing experience.

The fish soup contained a lot of fish and it was boneless. The soup itself, however, could have been flavored more powerfully. The mixed grill platter was very good, and the fried potatoes were also impressive. Paired with a regional beer - that's delicious Spreewald cuisine. As is the case almost everywhere, the prices for wine and various mixed drinks are such that it's better to go without them.

What was that? I haven't experienced serving such subterranean food for these prices in a long time. Chicken fricassee without taste, fatty. The same with the casserole and the pasta, all soaked in unsavory sauces. Only the ambience and the service were quite nice, a shame and really expensive.

I was very disappointed with the food: fries lukewarm and not crispy, piece of meat too small. For the price you can expect much more!

I was looking for food from home that was fresh and tasty. I got everything at a fair price.

The drinks were good, but the food was pretty bad. Schnitzel was too dry.. Vegetable sticks too fatty...

Quite a good meal. The beer was useless. Good parking for the motorhome. The bike trail starts right at the restaurant.

Can only be recommended.....fast and friendly service...everyone stays relaxed even when there is a lot of crowd.... Good and very comprehensive menu

For these prices the food wasn't particularly good. The service was great.

2.5 stars. We had asparagus with schnitzel & potatoes as well as the grilled plate (according to the menu, the house specialty). Asparagus dish: warmed potatoes without taste, 4 stalks of dry asparagus, schnitzel okay. Grill plate: tasted good, far too little meat for the price, fried potatoes okay but without seasoning/salt, mushrooms okay, side salad standard. We didn't like it. We wouldn't eat there again. Price and performance (food) are not in proportion to each other.

Very friendly service, quick, polite, simply very good. The food wasn't seasoned, below average, there's still room for improvement. Reasonably priced. Drink prices too high, beer 5.80 euros.....wine 7 euros, Aperol 8 euros!

Well-frequented inn in the old town of Lübbenau. Large selection of food. Unfortunately, prices are significantly too high. Tourists pay almost all prices! Schnitzel (not particularly large and unfortunately tough) 21 euros. Beer 0.5l 5.80 euros. You just drink one beer and the second one at home. It's a shame, because you leave this restaurant feeling like you've been ripped off.

Were a bit disappointed, great ambience and good service, unfortunately not food

Schöner Biergarten. Bedienung musste erst in der Gaststätte selbst gesucht/gerufen werden. Das Schweinerückensteak war sehr trocken, zu trocken und der Geschmack war befremdlich, habe es nicht gegessen. An den "Bratkartoffeln" waren minimale Bratstellen vorhanden. Gewürzt waren sie aber gut. Vor einem Jahr habe ich hier das Dreierlei-Fischgericht gegessen. Hatte nichts auszusetzen war wirklich gut zubereitet. Hätte wahrscheinlich wieder Fisch nehmen sollen. Vielleicht auch dieses Mal auch nur von der Gaststätte einen schlechten Tag erwischt.

Essen war gut, jetzt aber nicht besonders günstig. Es hat etwas länger gedauert bis das Essen kam, aber alles im Rahmen.

Das Spreewaldeck ist ein Restaurant, welches zum gleichnamigen Hotel gehört. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen jedoch sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen entsprechen guter Hausmannskost. Die Preise sind gehoben.

Dieses Hotel ist Klasse. Nette Angestellte. Sauberer Zimmer. Und das Essen dort ist Super.

Hermoso lugar en Alemania Comida tradicional, buena cerveza como siempre servicio algo lento , la vista del lugar y el silencio no tienen precio, la comida podría tener algo más de elaboración de sabores se sentía simple pero agradable .

Sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer sind sauber und das Essen ist lecker

Wir waren am Wochenende im Spreewald in diesem sehr sauberen Hotel. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und insgesamt wirkt das Hotel gemütlich und einladend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Alle Fragen wurden zufriedenstellend beantwortet und Wünsche erfüllt. Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant eingenommen und ist sehr reichhaltig. Es gibt guten Kaffee, frische Brötchen, Saft und Wasser. Die Auswahl ist frische Wurst, Käse, Obst, Gemüse, Joghurt Müsli Kuchen uvm. Das Hotel liegt 7 Minuten zu Fuß vom großen Spreewaldhafen und der Altstadt entfernt. Parkplätze gibt es für Hotelgäste vor der Tür. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
