We spontaneously visited here for the first time. Very friendly service, cozy autumnal decor, and a fantastic location right on a small harbor for Spreewald boat trips. The food was delicious. The grilled pork neck was wonderfully crispy yet tender. It was accompanied by deliciously crispy onion rings and a generous portion of the best horseradish! The daily special even included goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings. We were completely satisfied and would gladly return on our next visit to Lübbenau.

I ate here with colleagues as part of a company outing – unfortunately, it was a completely negative experience. • A colleague who specifically asked whether a dish contained pork was given the wrong information. He vomited after eating. • I was served a beer glass with visible mold spores. The staff reacted to my complaint with derogatory and derisive language, accusing me of "slandering." • In addition, there were discriminatory remarks that were very hurtful to us. Due to the serious hygiene deficiencies and the disrespectful, discriminatory treatment, I reported the incident to the responsible health authority. I am not ruling out legal action. For us, this was a degrading experience – hygiene, respect, and hospitality were completely absent here. Absolutely not recommended.

Very nice restaurant, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food is a little disappointing: how can you fry fish in a deep fryer? Don't you have any pans? Otherwise, it was very nice.

We were there as a group last Saturday and sat at three different tables. It would have been nice if the tables had been placed together. I also asked the server, but it wasn't possible. The menu is appealing, with a good selection and something for everyone. Unfortunately, my food was only lukewarm 🤭🤔. Our child was extremely thirsty and had to wait a good 30 minutes for his glass of water. I also brought up the issue, but there was no real response.

We had a really good meal there today, highly recommending the braised cucumbers. Friendly staff, we felt very comfortable.

We ate here, and it was wonderful. Starting with the amazing view of the small parking lot for a swim 😉. The service was simply excellent 🥳 and the food was delicious 😋. We'll definitely be back 👍.

We managed to get a table today 30 minutes before closing time, enjoyed a plentiful and extremely delicious meal, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We're absolutely thrilled and highly recommend this restaurant!

We came to the Nußbaum restaurant for coffee and cheesecake, and the kids had soft drinks and yeast pancakes. The cheesecake was truly delicious, and the pancakes were also good. However, the young woman with short blonde hair who served us was very unfriendly. She was curt and very grumpy with us. She was even extremely disrespectful to the English-speaking neighbor at our table. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. Given the influx of tourists, they don't seem to rely on repeat customers. This restaurant is definitely not recommended; you can probably get good cheesecake at friendlier restaurants nearby.

The ambiance and service were good. As for the food, I have to be honest, it was nothing. Schnitzel with creamed mushrooms and fried potatoes. The schnitzel had either been in the pan for a very long time or even in the deep fryer. Based on its appearance, I'm guessing it was deep-fried; it was extremely dry. It's probably been over 20 years since I last had canned mushrooms (class 3) on my plate in a restaurant; it's really hard to believe that anyone would dare to do something like that :( The fried potatoes had hardly any flavor and a strange consistency. Everyone else at the table was disappointed with the food, too. For €20, I expect fresh mushrooms, a decent sauce, fried potatoes, and a decent schnitzel.

During our visit with a person with mobility difficulties, we were unfortunately made to walk around the reserved terrace first, even though we walked right past the two waitresses. Unfortunately, all the other tables at the edge with the good view were also reserved. Except for one, all the others were, of course, empty the entire time. When we tried to pay with our debit card, we were shocked to be told that only cash was possible, without any prior notice. One star is unfortunately still too many. Michael B.

We weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant. Because of the large number of wasps and people with allergies, we wanted to sit inside. The answer we got was: "I'm allergic too." The food wasn't good either. What a shame!

The variety of pickles was very tasty, as was the blood sausage with sauerkraut. The asparagus with zander was okay, but the piece was very small. The babben beer was also delicious. The service was professional and courteous.

Positive: very attentive, friendly service. With a great ambience in the winter garden. But the food didn't convince me. Zander fried on leaf spinach. It was very bland in taste and unseasoned..

We received an excellent meal and we all enjoyed it very much. There are several fish dishes (fried or steamed, especially the delicious catfish) on the menu and meat and vegetarian dishes can also be ordered. We were a bit irritated by the low occupancy, although next door in the Spreewaldhafen Lübbenau the visitors had “piled up” due to the Spreewald Christmas and in other restaurants around the tables a high occupancy could be seen from the outside. You may only see the restaurant at second glance, but it's worth it. The very nice and attentive service staff almost read our wishes from our lips. I think the restaurant deserves more customers for its delicious food. There is also the delicious local “Babbenbier” :-)

Ambience quite nice. “Water view” but very exaggerated. Service only moderately friendly - “putting together a plate would be nice”. Very traditional food that tastes okay. Vegan eating is absolutely not recommended.

We visited the restaurant twice. We ate well the first time and experienced friendly service. That's why we planned a second visit there and called to reserve a table. We were told on the phone that no reservations would be made, we should just come there. That's how we did it. When we got there around 5:40 p.m. we were asked to order quickly because the kitchen would close at 6 p.m. We said that we called a few hours ago and nothing was mentioned about it. Otherwise we would have come earlier. There were several strange explanations from the service staff, who didn't come across as very friendly and we ordered because we were hungry. The food was ok so far, we couldn't enjoy the stay and felt like we were "thrown out"... So hospitality is definitely different... Just a little note on the phone and we wouldn't have come to you in the first place... 😏Because this Sunday evening, shortly before 6 p.m., you really gave us the feeling that we were disturbing you at the end of the day make!!!!

Unfortunately, we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door for the second time. Only a Tuesday now a Thursday. For spontaneous guests, the flexible rest day is a really bad idea. Especially since it says on the internet that it's open... bad development

The beer garden is great and invites you to linger. The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive. Unfortunately the food, in this case the stuffed cabbage, wasn't that great. Cabbage and potatoes cooked too soft, taste reminiscent of a canned version. A pity. The schnitzel was a little better.

Food is like everywhere else now, just standard for a lot of money. Nobody can really convince anymore!

Schnitzel crispy, large, and delicious. Blumenkohl with hollandaise sauce excellent. Plinse with cherries, cinnamon sugar, ice cream and whip cream splendid.

Today we had a small family celebration with lunch, a boat trip and coffee in the Nussbaum. The food and service were excellent, the boat trip worked wonderfully and everyone found what they were looking for with coffee. We reserved the whole thing in advance and were not disappointed. Gladly again for us.

We visited the restaurant late on a Wednesday lunchtime and were able to find enough space outside. There are ramps for wheelchair users or people with walking difficulties to access the terrace or inside the restaurant. The service was nice, competent and helpful and was even able to offer us a menu in English. The menu offers many regional dishes, some of which are also suitable for vegetarians. Our food came quickly and seemed to have been freshly prepared. This is exactly the right place for a refreshment after a boat tour on the Spree.

Unfortunately a very bad review. The food - between catastrophe and impudence. We were there at the beginning of the asparagus season! We ordered: 1.) Asparagus soup 2.) (Pork) schnitzel with asparagus and potatoes 3.) Asparagus with potatoes and butter and breadcrumbs 4.) Herb quark with potatoes -5.) Drinks apple juice and Fanta We got: - Asparagus pieces (dark and soft) in an instant broth with flaked egg. Neither taste nor consistency was acceptable. Dark, bitter taste of asparagus. - A 12mm thick piece of meat with no real breading, molded meat. Frozen food? Bland taste. The asparagus that practically melted under the fork, dark, bitter and soft as a puree - a single mass. Horror! We know fresh asparagus al dente with the typical asparagus aroma and taste. There can be no question of that here. If it wasn't canned asparagus, it was frozen from the previous year, aged "fresh", reheated or kept warm asparagus from the day before, etc. Every asparagus connoisseur and lover would throw up their hands in horror if something like that was presented to them. The potatoes were ok. The side salad was also unusual - lettuce leaf, two slices of cucumber and a slice of tomato, something like that has no place on a plate of asparagus. - eating asparagus without “meat” is exactly the same topic as already described. Asparagus exactly as described, with a side salad. Potatoes were ok. The guests at the next table also complained about the “quality” of the asparagus. Since asparagus is also expensive, you expect fresh, al dente asparagus that is professionally prepared and based on the prices you are guided by the fact that it is fresh asparagus. THAT, however, was disrespectful. the asparagus itself. It's a shame to process such a wonderful food like that = spoil it. - the herb curd was, as expected, okay, although I didn't have the impression that it was homemade (it wouldn't be a difficult task) - The apple juice was "ok", the Fanta was not, and water was added. In my opinion, a restaurant should only offer something if it can handle the ingredients as well as the preparation. Does the restaurant owner eat asparagus like that? Does he desire it, does he tolerate it, does he even eat it? And the cook? When you hear the name Nußbaum, you think of traditional but also authentic cuisine. The herb curd, which came in a jug with linseed oil, was certainly traditional. But I don't want to believe that asparagus and schnitzel are served like this(!) in the Spreewald, otherwise it would reflect very badly on the entire region. However, we cannot say for sure whether the asparagus was processed improperly or whether old/preserved/frozen/kept-warm asparagus was deliberately offered here. And if it's a pork schnitzel, please don't make it more than the thickness of your thumb, no pressed meat and the right breading. We didn't expect something like that. As a guest you can also feel cheated, because the prices were usual asparagus prices. Maybe. But is this just a "one-time restaurant" for tourists à la "It doesn't matter that we won't come back, because others will come..." Do you (=Nußbaum) think the assessment is too harsh? We found the food a disaster and the price “too high”, even cheeky. We assume that the food in the region is not like that (Spreewald style), but that someone who doesn't know any better or consciously works to save money is cooking here and thinks that the guests won't notice and you can serve them anything. **************************************************** *** More disrespectful vs. Asparagus and schnitzel are (almost) no longer possible! It's better to go somewhere else if you know and love asparagus that is firm to the bite, aromatic, light, and appreciates natural, thin schnitzels with real breading. Disappointing! A fish sandwich on the nearby promenade would have had "more value" and cost less. We understood it and learned something new! No next time. Nevertheless, thanks to the friendly service!

Dear Nussbaum team, I would like to thank you for the lovely Saturday. I was so excited and at times perplexed and you steered everything in the right direction with your experiences and tips. The guests praised the food, the winter garden was beautifully prepared, the staff was always in the right place as soon as they were needed... Ms. Woithe always had the time slot in mind - I am grateful for her speech/reminder every now and then during the day. It's great that Ms. Richter emphatically recommended the boat tour. Here I was undecided because of the weather. She was well received by the guests. The reserved egg painting table was optimally positioned. It was nice all around😊 Bärbel + Mario

When we are in Lübbenau we always like to go here… Food was delicious… Service very friendly… considerate and kind. The plints are simply amazing... Reminds me of childhood and tastes like Grandma's... Potatoes with quark and linseed oil are absolutely recommended... Thank you very much!!!

The food wasn't really good, most of us were rather disappointed. But the service was very nice. The main room was very dark so you could hardly see the food. Luckily we were able to sit in the winter garden, which has a nice atmosphere.

The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing. The schnitzel was barely plated and probably fried together with the croquettes. The canned cream mushrooms tasted just as sour as the water they contained.

Hier haben wir die besten Plinsen im Spreewald gegessen. Dazu gab es ein leckeres Babben Bier. Ein entspannter Ort abseits vom Trubel in Lübbenau.

Schöner Außenbereich direkt an der Spree, Essen war sehr gut, nette Plauderei mit dem Personal. Preise angesichts der aktuellen Entwicklungen völlig ok. Hat uns echt gut gefallen. Feiner Abschuss nach einem Paddeltag.

Alles bestens! Schöner Wintergarten und gutes Essen.👍👍 Die Stühle könnten etwas bequemer und besser zum Greifen sein. Den Bedienungen könnte etwas Lächeln nicht schaden, aber das waren Nebensächlichkeiten. Möchte ich hier auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!!

Relativ rauer Ton der Bedienung. Kinderkarte bekommt man nur auf Nachfrage, obwohl das Kind am Tisch sitzt. Es wird nicht nach leeren Getränken geschaut. Beim Service Luft nach oben. Essen war gut.

Haben an zwei Abenden hier gegessen. Trotz sehr vieler Gäste, war das Personal seh freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war beide Male schmackhaft und von guter Qualität. Preis/Leistung paßt hier. Gerne wieder 👍

Waren am letzten Abend vor der Abreise da am 29.07.23. Waren drei erwachsene und 1 Kind. Preis, war okay. Das essen war gut. Nur die blonde große Kellnerin mit den kurzen Haaren war sehr schnippisch….. entweder hatte sie keine Lust mehr oder irgend etwas war quer bei ihr. Ansonsten ist es okay, Karte ist ausreichend, für kleine Kinder gibt es was zum spielen und Kinder finden hier auch immer was… Würden wohl wieder hin gehen wenn beim nächsten besuche, denn unfreundliche Bedienung hin oder her essen war okay.

Die Speisen empfinde ich lieblos und minderer Qualität. Hier wird wahrscheinlich nur auf Masse gemacht. Das Personal ist schnippisch und nicht kundenorientiert. Man hat das Gefühl, dass sich hier im Laufe der Zeit so manche Dinge im Ablauf eingeschlichen haben, die eigentlich in einem Restaurant nichts zu suchen haben. Wir werden dieses Restaurant in Zukunft nicht wieder besuchen. Aber es gibt ja hier genügend gute Alternativen.

Sehr gute, ehrliche und bodenständige Küche, sehr gut zubereitet und gute Qualität der Zutaten. Endlich mal kein Convenience Food! Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Lùbbenauer Babbenbier (obergährig, dunkel, feinherb) aus der Minibrauerei nebenan.

Solide Spreewaldkneipe. Direkt an einem KAHNHAFEN.

Trotzdem eine Reisegruppe da war, haben wir relativ schnell unser Essen bekommen. Das Essen war super. Aber was uns erstaunt hat, war, das ein Liter Wasser 7 Euro kostet und das finde ich ganz schön fett.

Wir saßen hier schön, uns gat das Ambiente gefallen, das Essen war auch gut.

Spargel mit Schnitzel bestellt. Spargel war total matschig (verkocht) Die Bechamelauce wie auch das Schitzel war meiner Meinung ein Fertigprodukt.Der Koch (falls er überhaupt einer ist)sollte nochmal eine Lehre machen und sein Handwerk lernen. Das ganze für €19,90 ist für diese Qualität eine Frechheit. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ich war als Busfahrer jetzt schon 2x mit einer Gruppe im Restaurant essen gewesen. Ambiente, Service und Ambiente alles perfekt. Ich komme gerne wieder und bringe Euch neue Gäste. Macht weiter so. Verdiente volle Sternzahl ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Gaststätte direkt an der Spree mit idyllischem Biergarten. Gute und abwechslungsreiche Küche, schneller Service. Zur Gaststätte gehört auch eine Anlegestelle für Kähne. Wenn wenig los ist, bieten die "Kapitäne" kostenloses Parken an.

Zuerst kann ich sagen, dass der Service schnell und wirklich sehr freundlich war. Wir waren an einem wettermäßig sehr unfreundlichen Tag dort und fanden ein gemütliches und sauberes Restaurant vor. An einer Tafel am Eingang stand als Tagesgericht Gänsekeule mit Rotkohl und Klößen. Ein Preis war nicht angegeben. Wir bestellten eine Vorsuppe aus der Karte und eben dieses Tagesgericht. Dabei begingen wir den Fehler, nicht nach dem Preis zu fragen, da wir annahmen, dass das Tagesgericht, wie allgemein üblich, nicht gerade das teuerste sein würde. Die Vorsuppe war tatsächlich köstlich und sehr zu empfehlen. Anders sah es dann bei der Gänsekeule aus. Dem Fleisch merkte man einen viel zu langen Aufenthalt in der Kühltruhe an. Es schmeckte alt und ranzig und war nicht genießbar. Dass die Klöße winzig und ziemlich verkocht waren, fiel dabei gar nicht mehr ins Gewicht. Als wir die Teller mit den Keulen zurückgaben und die Mitarbeiterin auf den Zustand des Fleisches hinwiesen, kam zwar eine kurze, bedauernde Reaktion, aber nichts weiter. Nun waren wir auf die Rechnung gespannt und waren ehrlich erschüttert, als wir den Preis sahen. Uns wurde, ohne zu zucken, der Preis von 25,50€ pro Portion berechnet. Das war erstens der höchste Preis, der an diesem Tag für ein Essen berechnet wurde und zweitens wurde auf unsere berechtigte Reklamation überhaupt nicht reagiert. Vielleicht hätten wir nicht so diskret sein und unserem Unmut richtig laut Luft machen sollen, damit wir ernst genommen werden. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass hier mit diesem "Tagesgericht" ohne Preisangabe bewusst auf Dummenfang gegangen wurde und wir sind auch darauf reingefallen. Dieses Restaurant werden wir in Zukunft meiden und raten auch allen Gästen, gut hinzusehen und unbedingt nachzufragen!

Am großen Hafen findet man nur noch klassische 'Massenabfertigung', aber hier fühlt man sich wirklich als Gast willkommen. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service und wirklich leckeres Essen - zu fairen Preisen. Wir werden gern wieder kommen. Klare Weiterempfehlung 👍

Waren an einem Sonntag Abend hier essen. Die Bedienung war schnell am Tisch, freundlich und das Essen kam schnell. Hatten Wels gedünstet und gefüllten Paprika. Beides schmeckte sehr gut, war schön angerichtet und preislich in Ordnung. Die Bedienung zeigte sich aufmerksam, bemerkte zeitnah, dass wir mit dem Essen fertig waren und fragte nach weiteren Wünschen. Hefeplins war gut, etwas viel Zimt, aber sonst ein schönes und für die Region typisches Dessert. Haben das Lübbenauer Bier probiert, welches angenehm würzig, leicht herb und etwas maligne ist. Eine Empfehlung von uns!

Dobra restauracja, z typowym niemieckim jedzeniem. Polecam, w szczególności teraz, dania ze szparagami! Dobre piwo. Usiąść można zarówno wewnątrz restauracji, jak i na zewnętrz, z widokiem na kanał. Można płacić kartą. Menu w języku niemieckim. Możliwość wynajęcia łódki.

Nachdem die Karte eines benachbarten Restaurants überhaupt nicht zufrieden stellend war, sind wir hier voll auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.
