Bavarian, good food, fast service, Augustiner from a wooden barrel... What more could you want?

Location & ambience is OK. Good selection of food. Unfortunately the service was a bit rough. There were 2 families (4 adults/4 kids). It was a shame that the desired dessert was removed from the daily menu and then when you want to order dessert, you are told that the kitchen is already closed. Service; It would have been nice to point it out or simply ask. The quality of the food was mixed, some people liked it and others didn't like it. We expected something more.

Unfortunately a disappointing evening. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good, the cheese dumpling soup was tasteless and carelessly prepared. The dumpling was soggy on the outside, cold on the inside and unfortunately had no taste at all. The spinach dumpling was good though. We were told that we could stay until 8 p.m. until the next reservation came, but were literally turned away from the table after staying for 40 minutes instead of 1.5 hours. Ambience is cozy.

The food was OK. However, I was charged a €2 rebooking fee for a request to change the side dish; I wanted coleslaw instead of potato salad. I didn't want a larger portion or an extra portion and that's not my understanding of good service, so I won't be coming here a second time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was on point! The food was delicious, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Really something different, freshly tapped Augustiner, but not a stuffy place but a really friendly and sociable shop. There are also good things to eat. ☺️ Great!👍

Great decor and ambience. The prices are surprisingly fair for the location and quality of the food. The main courses were all very tasty and prepared and served with noticeable attention to detail. The desserts also surprised with their creativity. The more traditional taverns are a little ahead here only when it comes to the portion size of the main courses.

Great until it started raining and everyone had to look for a place inside. From then on it was just so loud in the dining room that you could barely hold a conversation.

Food was very tasty!! And you didn't have to wait long for the food. The service was friendly and sometimes not entirely attentive as we sat on dry land for a longer period of time. The area to sit outside is nice and spacious. All in all it was a lovely evening

Overall, a nice restaurant with good food, although you charge 7 euros for a large tap water!!! (I had ordered a dish for 16 euros and 2 small white wines (4.70 each - making a total of 9.40). That leaves 7 euros for the tap water, because I paid a total of a little over 32 euros) ) Unfortunately, we only have that We realized later...we also had to ask for the bill three times before the waitress responsible for us finally decided to bring it over. I don't know whether that was the mistake of the lady who served us (which I strongly suspect) or whether such prices are actually being charged. Unfortunately we switched gears too slowly and also tipped appropriately. Except for the service assigned to us, the store made a very good impression: starting with all the other service items, through the ambience, to the food and drinks.

Pleasant atmosphere - price performance OK

A traditional style inn. Discreetly furnished, lively, delicious food, generous portions and you don't have to say anything about Augustiner from the wooden barrel anyway. One of my favorites when it comes to Bavarian food.

Super relaxed and very friendly staff who served us reliably despite the restaurant being full and responded to special requests. I had the Bachhendl salad and was very satisfied. Non-alcoholic Gustl also tasted good.

Good, solid economy. You can make sheep's heads. Food is reasonably priced and tastes very good.

Nepper, trafficker, farmer: I can only warn you about this shop! More is charged than was eaten, and the waitresses become rude and aggressive if you "only" want to pay for what you really had (unfortunately including a tip). It's a shame... you might know something like that from tourist traps, but a shed like that definitely doesn't belong in Haidhausen!

Best Augustinian beer in town! Always fresh from the wooden barrel with its own cooling system for the barrel and glasses. For me, Champions League level. The food is often regional, seasonal and freshly prepared. The only criticism: I miss a few classic, inexpensive snacks, like Obazten or Leberkäs.

Nice atmosphere and delicious roasted meat

The Munich schnitzel was great. Tender meat and good portion. The fried potatoes were not what I imagine fried potatoes to be. With bowl. My wife's potato salad was filled with lots of cucumbers. The Augustiner from the wooden barrel was fresh and cool. A bit loud for entertaining.

Good food but small portions for a high price. The fried chicken for just under €18 won't fill you up. Unfortunately it is also very loud.

Unfortunately, a very sobering evening. My sister has reserved a table for 12 people to celebrate her birthday at Tout or you. Unfortunately, several things didn't go well: Ambiance: The ambience at Tout or Sie is really excellent. The mix of furnishings and the choice of furniture makes it a modern, young pub for me! 👍 Service: The service staff were very nice, but clearly understaffed. We sometimes had to wait a long time before we could place drink orders. What was great, however, was that the drinks were brought very quickly after ordering. A friend had baked a cake for my sister and brought it with her. Unfortunately, we couldn't or didn't want to eat the cake in the restaurant because a plate charge of €2 per person was required. There is absolutely nothing wrong with charging a fee for such a service. But for 12 people we're talking about €24 - that's too much! Beverages: We spent our evening mainly with beer, drinks and soft drinks. There are Augustiner on tap, from chilled glasses, perfect! The Spezi, on the other hand, tasted really strange, way too sweet and some glasses smelled like dishwashing liquid - probably not washed out well. Eat: This is where the biggest deficiency lies. We had food across the menu, but unfortunately none of the food was really good. In advance we had two snack boards and Obatzda for the entire table. Everything was still great! The main courses were unfortunately sobering: the meat in the Wiener Schnitzel (veal) was not good, gristly and apparently not plated. The breading was soaked in fat. The tartare was mediocre, hardly any taste of its own, but overall okay. The negative highlight, however, was the fried chicken, which was not edible and went back to the kitchen more or less untouched. It was dry, tough, hard to cut or chew (you can even tell from the photo). But the way the situation was handled was particularly sad. Both people with the failed fried chicken had reported this to the waitress. However, the situation was simply ignored. There was neither feedback from the kitchen nor an apology, let alone an edible alternative. Instead, the full price of €17.80 was charged without a care in the world. After the bills had been paid, the situation was discussed again and it was only pointed out that the kitchen was being handled by another company (Friss oder Die - the name says it all) and that there was nothing they could do about the unsuccessful meal. Price: In total, everyone ate around €50-60 worth of food and drinks. If the food had been good, that would in principle be a fair price. Conclusion: Maybe we had a bad day in terms of service, but that's not the main criticism. You could also ignore the plate money. The main point of criticism is the mediocre food and the two unsuccessful dishes, but above all the handling of them. And the combination of everything is the reason why we unfortunately won't be visiting this restaurant again. That's a shame because the location, ambience and concept are really great!

Freundlicher Service, aber leider mit etwas zu langen Wartezeiten. Wir bekamen nach zwei Stunden erst unsere Hauptgang serviert (hatten vorher Vorspeisen). Die meisten Gerichte waren zufriedenstellend. Lediglich vom Münchner Schnitzel muss ich abraten. Da gibt es bessere Adressen in München. Den Senf konnte man kaum herausschmecken und der Meerrettich war etwas lieblos draufgelegt. Von einem normalen Schweineschnitzel war es kaum zu unterscheiden. Es war lecker aber für uns einfach kein echtes Münchner Schnitzel. Wenn man hinten in der Ecke sitzt, ist es etwas stickig, da es keine Luftungsmöglichkeit gibt. Insgesamt sicher kein schlechtes Restaurant, aber in der Umgrbung gibt es einige bessere Adressen.

Schön etwas moderner gehaltene Bayerische Wirtschaft. Essen ist typisch dem was ein modernes Wirtshaus in München anbietet, aber qualitativ eher vorne dabei. Augustiner Bier vom Faß und freundlicher Service. Das Karten spielen explizit gewünscht/gefördert wird rundet das ganze ab. Empfehlenswert!

Also eigentlich würde ich nur 3 Sterne geben, aber da ich weiss dass ich als veganer nicht die Zielgruppe / typische Kundin bin, gebe ich auch 4. Auf jeden Fall war ich froh, dass es ein veganes Gericht gab nur hätte ich ein wenig konstruktive Kritik zu äußern (inwiefern die angenommen werden kann, ist eine andere sache weil es eben ja ein schnell zubereitendes Gericht bleiben soll) Also das positive war auf jeden Fall das Aussehen, der Geschmack war so mäsig. War keine Frage lecker, jedoch finde ich das Gemüse war definitiv zu ölig, im Gegensatz zu den Kichererbsenbratlingen, die zu trocken waren und das öl vertragen hätten. Vielleicht könnte man das ja umtauschen und das Gemüse dann dünsten. Die “Vegane-Mayo” am Rand war als Dip ganz lecker, ein Hummus oder etwas Tomatiges als Sosse/Dip würde ich aber leckerer finden, da der Mayo Geschmack nicht so ganz zum Gericht gepasst hat. Außerdem fande ich, dass das Gemüse ein wenig nach Butter geschmeckt hat, wo ich hoffe dass es nur Einbildung war :/ Jedoch war der Bärlauch und die Zitrone beim Gemüse sehr leckere Aromen für zwischendrin, hat mir mega gefallen. Eigentlich schreibe ich nicht so ausführliche Rezension, da ich aber (vorallem) veganes Kochen liebe, dachte ich teile ich einfach mal meine Meinung zu dem Gericht mit, da es ja bestimmt nicht so oft zubereitet wird und daher auch wahrscheinlich eher wenig Rückmeldung kommt.

War einmal dorten und muss sagen. In meinen Augen war es perfekt dorten. Werde defenetiv wieder kommen.

Toller Ort um mit Freunden einen mega Abend zu verbringen. Das Münchner Schnitzel war super und das Bier sowieso. Geheimtipp: Liquid Kokain

Essen top, keine haute cuisine, aber die Gerichte die serviert werden gehen kaum besser…. Service am Tisch gut, aber Empfang am Eingang schwierig (hysterischer kleiner Kerl der stresst wegen des Zeitlimits, völlig ohne Not, kennt aber Text auf der eigenen Website nicht:(

Nice ambient in this restaurant, quite crowed, with shared long tables. Friendly service during all dinner, although I found it rude for them to ask what tip to include in the bill while keying the amount in the card reader (that makes them lose one service star). The food was nicely cooked and tasty; I asked for the red mullet, and literally the dish contained half a small red mullet filet and a rather large potato based garrison (which makes them lose a food star). Overall, I'd rather repeat on any of the other two restaurants we visited during our stay.

Schönes, modernes, schlicht eingerichtetes Wirtshaus, wo es fast zum guten Ton gehört, nebenher etwas zu karteln 😉 Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wir haben relativ lange auf unser Essen gewartet (ca. 45-60 min), obwohl es bereits deutlich nach der „Hauptabendessenszeit“ war. Portionen sind ok, aber nicht riesig. Service ist insgesamt, v.a. beim Nachbestellen von Getränken, auf Zack. Leider wurde uns ein Getränk zu viel berechnet, was wir nach Verlassen des Lokals festgestellt haben, tut dem schönen Abend, den wir hier hatten, jedoch keinen Abbruch. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Das Essen ist insgesamt gut und es sind große Portionen. Die Käsespätzle könnten etwas weniger trocken sein. Der Service ist aufmerksam und schnell. Das Lokal sieht schön und modern aus. Mir war aber leider von der Akustik her zu laut, man konnte sich nur schwer unterhalten. Die Sitzbänke sind teils ohne Lehne und es fehlen Sitzkissen.

Top Service, gutes Essen zu normalen Preisen!

Schöne Bar in München/Bogenhausen in der Nähe des Ostbahnhofs. Augustiner Bräu vom Holzfass als Highlight und auch das Essen ist gut. Nette Leute in netten Ambiente.

Ein modernes Wirtshaus mit frisch gezapftem Bier vom Fass und bayerischer Küche. Das offene und stilvolle Ambiente läd zu geselligen Abendrunden ein. Auch ist im Tout oder Sie das Kartenspielen erlaubt und man bekommt auf Nachfrage ein gasthauseigenes Deck. Die Gerichte haben alle geschmeckt.

Wir waren spontan dort und haben es nicht bereut. Leckeres Essen, Bier vom Holzfass in Tonkrügen (da bleibt es frisch und kalt). Später (nach 22:00) saßen wir noch drinnen. Tolle moderne Holzmöbel, aufgeräumt, hell und übersichtlich. Eine Empfehlung für mehr als nur für einen Kneipenabend. Und wie ich gelesen habe: „Karteln erlaubt“!

Richtig guter Laden! Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und kümmert sich ausgesprochen gut um seine Gäste. Das Ambiente ist der Hammer und das froschgezapfte Augustiner wird in eisgekühlten Gläsern serviert. Stimmung ist ebenfalls absolut spitze - alles in allem daher 5 Sterne plus! :)

Par hasard, attirés par sa convivialité, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cet établissement et avons découvert une carte de plats traditionnels et français (aligot, ..). Plats généreux et goûteux pour un prix correct.

Modern Bavarian „Wirtshaus“ with great beer (Augustiner from wooden barrel), good food and great atmosphere. Very well located, close to the Ostbahnhof with outside seating as well, this modern Bavarian restaurant was a great choice for a boys night out. The only thing to object is that it gets very loud if the location is full, but that‘s how a Wirtshaus is. Good value for money, definitely recommend.

Ein junges Wirtshaus mit einer tollen Speisekarte die auch Speisen außerhalb der typischen Wirtshausküche anbietet. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Preis Leistung ist hier hervorragend. Im Hintergrund läuft auch immer coole Musik. Es gibt jeden Tag Holz Fass, wobei die fürs helle sogar vorgekühlt werden. Einzigartig in München!

Gfmütliches bayrisches Lokal für das Feierabendbier

Es ist eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre, das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und schmeckt hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren eine große Gruppe und wurden sehr gut und schnell bewirtet.Das Essen war sehr gut und alle waren zufrieden.Wer es deftig mag ist dort genau richtig. Die Auswahl war sehr gut auch vegetarisch wurde bedient. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

Ich gehe immer gerne dort hin, weil ich Qualität und guten Service mit Bier vom Augustiner Holzfass sehr schätze. Das Essen war immer sehr gut und ich wurde nie enttäuscht. Dieses Lokal im schönen Franzosenviertel ist ein echter Geheimtipp und ich reserviere gleich ab 17 Uhr einen Tisch, da es vielleicht voller wird…!

On the occasion of #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet's mum's birthday, we were here for the first time. And it was great! The beer (Augustiner) was fresh from the tap, the food tasty and fresh. However, the portions are really large. I can only recommend the roast crusted pork. We had our place for two hours, after which the crowd changed from families and students to adults and party people. The toilets were clean, but they are in the basement. Overall, it was a good time at Tout or Her. The service was quick and friendly. We will be back and can only recommend the restaurant! P.S. It's best to book beforehand!

Unfortunately most of the Bavarian places in the Ostbahnhof neighborhood are mediocre at best. Tout oder Sie ( a bit of a verbal hommage to a traditional card game and to the area‘s streets named after French cities) is the positive exception. A limited menu of traditional favorites properly prepared from first rate ingredients. The pork roast and wiener schnitzel were extremely tasty and the meat was tender. The Augustiner beer from a wooden barrel was sensational. The ambience was pleasant with wood paneling all over the room. Not dark at all! Amiable service and reasonable prices make this a safe choice if you are looking for a proper Bavarian meal. Well worth the short journey from the city center.
