We have been going here on and off for 10 years. Today we were here with the whole family plus our family visitor from the USA. We didn't have a reservation and were really lucky that we got a table for 9 people. The food was excellent, the cocktails were really good and the service was friendly and on point. We can only recommend it.

Surf and turf is highly recommended

To be honest, the food we had burgers wasn't worth the price. At just under €16, I expected a bit more quality. But what breaks the camel's back is the sometimes incomprehensible business practices. Don't accept anything that is offered to you that you didn't order. Greeks give you an ouzo (free) after your meal. Here we were given cheesecake. You then pay a whopping 24 euros for 6 small cheesecakes. And if you pre-order what is partially required (bowling alley) and we're not talking about a special meal but a salad, then hope that no one gets sick because you can pay for that despite their absence. Tips are also accepted here without being asked. Once and never again there are definitely better ones.

Yesterday we had our Christmas party with around 20 people at Touch Down. Everything to our complete satisfaction! The food was really tasty & the service was just super professional! Also a big thank you to the always friendly restaurant manager for the perfect organization! We'll definitely be back.

The family room is not that comfortable with a reservation of 10p. We moved our tables together ourselves. Music would have been great. But the children could play there without disturbing anyone. The two girls (waitress) Totally friendly and accommodating as well as MOMO, our bartender, who conjured up the cocktails to be incredibly delicious. Price-performance ratio was perfectly fine. Everyone had a starter, main course and dessert. We can only recommend that we come back, thank you...

We spent the night at the Touchdown Motel today. Despite checking in during the stressful evening service in the restaurant, they made time for us and invited us for a Kölsch. The rooms are modernly furnished and appear to have been recently renovated. There is a TV, some water, a kettle and a selection of tea and instant coffee in the room. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, so everything was very clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable. The motel is located on a highway, but with the windows closed it was still very quiet at night. At check-in we were told that there was no regular breakfast as the restaurant didn't open until later. We were nevertheless offered to prepare a small breakfast at around 11 a.m. in the morning. We didn't expect much, but were surprised by a delicious, sumptuous breakfast platter, there was even a croissant. I think breakfast varies depending on what the kitchen can produce. The breakfast and the room as a whole were excellent value for money! Thank you for the lovely stay! If we stay overnight in the area again, we will come back to you.

The service and food were great. Rather expensive in price. The atmosphere is not very American, not really comfortable to stay for a long time. Music is way too loud, very annoying. I would like to emphasize the friendly service again, thank you for that.

Wiedermal ein erstklassiger und spitzenmäßiger Servie vom gesamten Team. Am Eingang wird man schon sehr nett empfangen. Wir hatten ein tollen Platz mit super leckeren Essen. Die Burger 🍔 sind weltmeisterlich. Ebenfalls die große Auswahl an Speisen. Man merkt sofort das alle ihren Job sehr gerne ausüben. Freundlichkeit , Nachfragen ob alles ok ist, ist ebenfalls sehr lobenswert. Es war ein gelungener, toller Abend zum Geburtstag. Jetzt weiß man auch warum man besonders am Wochenende die Parkplätze sehr voll sind. Für alles geben wir die Note 1 ++++..macht weiter so..wir kommen immer sehr gerne wieder und klare Weiterempfehlung. Liebe Grüße ans gesamte Team

We spent our team evening in the Kegelkeller, the food was very tasty and the service was top! Every now and then someone came to check whether we still had enough to drink. We had a great evening.

The meat was raw, even though I told the waiter that I wanted it cooked through. The meat was cold when it was served. The meat was cold again when it was fried a second time. The cost: €90.00 for 2 people is quite steep!!!! NEVER EVER AND 👎🏻‼️

Went there more often, it was nice as a trip. But the prices no longer match what is offered. For example, a chicken sub for around €15 without any side dishes, such as fries or similar. The meat was really good, as is usually the case at Touch Down, but the rest? The sauces are standard and what annoyed me the most was the sub's bread. For the price I expected at least a nice baguette from the local bakery. For your money, however, you only get a relatively small baked baguette, which is available in a pack of four at Aldi for under €1. Likewise my wife's baked potato. Yes, delicious spinach and cheese, but in the end it is and remains one big potato for which you end up paying just under €15. The chocolate cake (around €8 a piece) was also much better and unfortunately tasted a bit like the fridge last time. Spare ribs are also now a relatively dry affair. All in all, unfortunately, that was our last visit to the touchdown. As always, the service was impeccable and very, very friendly. There is nothing to complain about at all. However, if the quality offered no longer matches the price, in the end it is no longer of much use. What a shame!

Great place, especially with children. There is a small children's play area for toddlers. This has 3 tables for families to eat. There are also gluten-free dishes, e.g. the corn tortillas. They also made the burgers gluten-free for me without the burger bun. My husband had the spare ribs and my son had a mix of noodles and hot dogs. The food was excellent. Our service staff was super friendly. And we generally found the staff to be thoughtful and flexible. Thanks.

I haven't eaten there for probably 2 years and was there again a few days ago. I was super disappointed! Has the owner/chef changed? Unlike before, I didn't like the food! I had baked tortillas and they were smothered in cheese. There should be a side salad with it. It consisted of a slice of cucumber, 2 chicory leaves and a few carrot slices. The beans with it had something like a soup. There was way too much liquid. The dish that I always enjoyed eating was no longer on the menu. But the quality has definitely decreased for me. Too bad! The service was very good.

Waren auf der Durchreise, sind irgendwo abgebogen und haben dieses Restaurant gefunden. Manchmal findet man so die besten Locations. Wir haben den besten Roastbeef-Spieß seit langem gegessen. Das Chili con Carne uns die gebratenen Champignons waren mega lecker. Der Service ist super und die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt!

Great service and very tasty Tex-Mex food in a beautiful courtyard location. Playground for the children in the immediate vicinity. Only the toilets need to be renovated. Our visit on Sunday evening was just super nice. We'll be back!

We like to stop when we pass here. Today for the third/fourth time here. Delicious again. Roast beef skewer and rum steak. Since we've been lucky with the weather so far, we've always sat outside and can't say anything about the indoor area. Staff also very polite and accommodating.

I was there for the second time. The first time years ago on a motorcycle tour and the second time today with friends because we were at All in America at Krewelshof. There was no difference in the food or the service. The food was great and the service was very attentive and friendly. I would come again and again.

For the price, the citizen's roll was too dry, the lettuce was mushy under the patty and the amount (3) of onion rings wasn't enough for the additional serve on my plate.

Service and food are good and you enjoy sitting in the winter garden, but inside the room is boring, loud and not comfortable. The room could perhaps be divided in half with some sort of divider. So it doesn't seem as big and isn't as loud either. Otherwise it tasted good and the service was good.

Food top. Employees are more than top... nice, (child-) friendly and 95% of the time always within reach. Ambience is enough for me (I'm there because of the food 🤤) for some it's too much and for some it's not enough.......for children there are always two sheets of paper to color in and a small playground (slide and swing on the sandy floor ), I think that's enough.

I was here today and ordered a salad. I told the waiter that there was a fly in it, or he took my salad and brought the same one again and lied to me that I had changed it and it was really unfair, never to see it again

Food was subpar. Mexican dishes are not really Mexican, dry chicken, spaghetti Bolognese sauce in "ground beef taco", complete absense of flavors and bland meat in steak taco. Burgers were OK, and fries were OK. Children's chicken nuggets were served with bubbly expired ketchup in a cup, disgusting.

Perfect place for burgers, ribs and wings. Plus homemade lemonade and great desserts! Phenomenal with children as there is plenty of space and even a playground. There are more than enough parking spaces available. I really like it.

I ordered pullet pork burger yesterday: ready-made meat, absolutely tasty glutamate, extremely even super salty and tasty glutamate Guys, you can't buy ready-made products with flavor enhancers for that kind of money.

Accessible by car but definitely worth it for its food and very large portions!

We had the pleasure of dining at Welcome to Touchdown and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the typical Touch Down ambience and the extremely friendly and courteous service. After a long journey we were able to relax here and enjoy the exquisite drinks. The cocktail and spirits menu is impressively extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. For our dinner we chose from the varied menu and were not disappointed. The dishes from American, Mexican and international cuisine were all freshly prepared and very tasty. Particularly noteworthy were the homemade desserts, which were a perfect end to the evening. We can recommend “Welcome to Touchdown” to anyone looking for a cozy place with excellent food and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Large parking lot. Great large terrace that can be pulled out with an awning as sun protection or for warmth in the evening. Service quick and friendly. Food tastes super delicious.

I really loved the Touch Down restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious and every dish we tried was superbly prepared. The ribs in particular were a highlight, tender and juicy with a perfectly balanced BBQ sauce. The ambience was also a big plus. Everything was very tidy and clean, which made the stay particularly pleasant. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, ideal for a relaxed meal. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our time in touchdown. There is no question that we will definitely come back. A big congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful visit!

The atmosphere is very nice and very inviting. The food is excellent, but the service is subpar. You get the feeling that everyone doesn't want to do their job. Only grim faces you look into. So in order to get tips from me/us, something should change as soon as possible.

We were there spontaneously yesterday with three adults and three children. The food, especially the burgers, were really tasty, the service was exceptionally friendly, competent and courteous. We will come back to eat more often.
