Touch Down in Lohmar

We spent our team evening in the Kegelkeller, the food was very tasty and the service was top! Every now and then someone came to check whether we still had enough to drink. We had a great evening.

The meat was raw, even though I told the waiter that I wanted it cooked through. The meat was cold when it was served. The meat was cold again when it was fried a second time. The cost: €90.00 for 2 people is quite steep!!!! NEVER EVER AND 👎🏻‼️

Went there more often, it was nice as a trip. But the prices no longer match what is offered. For example, a chicken sub for around €15 without any side dishes, such as fries or similar. The meat was really good, as is usually the case at Touch Down, but the rest? The sauces are standard and what annoyed me the most was the sub's bread. For the price I expected at least a nice baguette from the local bakery. For your money, however, you only get a relatively small baked baguette, which is available in a pack of four at Aldi for under €1. Likewise my wife's baked potato. Yes, delicious spinach and cheese, but in the end it is and remains one big potato for which you end up paying just under €15. The chocolate cake (around €8 a piece) was also much better and unfortunately tasted a bit like the fridge last time. Spare ribs are also now a relatively dry affair. All in all, unfortunately, that was our last visit to the touchdown. As always, the service was impeccable and very, very friendly. There is nothing to complain about at all. However, if the quality offered no longer matches the price, in the end it is no longer of much use. What a shame!

Good selection and tasty dishes. Good: various inexpensive offers for children. Attentive service. Unfortunately the restaurant has no atmosphere/quality of stay. Annoying, loud and disturbing background music. The outdoor areas look run down and uninviting.

I waited so long for my order and didn't get it. The waiters were on the phone or busy with something else Too bad……..

Great place, especially with children. There is a small children's play area for toddlers. This has 3 tables for families to eat. There are also gluten-free dishes, e.g. the corn tortillas. They also made the burgers gluten-free for me without the burger bun. My husband had the spare ribs and my son had a mix of noodles and hot dogs. The food was excellent. Our service staff was super friendly. And we generally found the staff to be thoughtful and flexible. Thanks.

I haven't eaten there for probably 2 years and was there again a few days ago. I was super disappointed! Has the owner/chef changed? Unlike before, I didn't like the food! I had baked tortillas and they were smothered in cheese. There should be a side salad with it. It consisted of a slice of cucumber, 2 chicory leaves and a few carrot slices. The beans with it had something like a soup. There was way too much liquid. The dish that I always enjoyed eating was no longer on the menu. But the quality has definitely decreased for me. Too bad! The service was very good.

We've eaten better here. Unfortunately, a dish was simply put together differently because ingredients were missing, but without prior notice. Very unfortunate. The remaining dishes were, as usual, delicious. Cocktails are always recommended here.

We have been coming to Touch Down to eat for many years. The quality of the food and service has deteriorated. The waiting times for the food to arrive are now very long. You shouldn't be too hungry.

Super leckeres Essen, gute Portionen, megafreundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Tolles Ambiente. Es gibt Essen für jeden Geschmack und leckere Cocktails und Getränke. Sehr zu empfehlen, jederzeit wieder!!!

Waren auf der Durchreise, sind irgendwo abgebogen und haben dieses Restaurant gefunden. Manchmal findet man so die besten Locations. Wir haben den besten Roastbeef-Spieß seit langem gegessen. Das Chili con Carne uns die gebratenen Champignons waren mega lecker. Der Service ist super und die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt!

Great service and very tasty Tex-Mex food in a beautiful courtyard location. Playground for the children in the immediate vicinity. Only the toilets need to be renovated. Our visit on Sunday evening was just super nice. We'll be back!

You feel alert and warm every time. It has a restaurant garden that takes its work seriously and a very comfortable and natural environment.

We like to stop when we pass here. Today for the third/fourth time here. Delicious again. Roast beef skewer and rum steak. Since we've been lucky with the weather so far, we've always sat outside and can't say anything about the indoor area. Staff also very polite and accommodating.

I was there for the second time. The first time years ago on a motorcycle tour and the second time today with friends because we were at All in America at Krewelshof. There was no difference in the food or the service. The food was great and the service was very attentive and friendly. I would come again and again.

For the price, the citizen's roll was too dry, the lettuce was mushy under the patty and the amount (3) of onion rings wasn't enough for the additional serve on my plate.

Service and food are good and you enjoy sitting in the winter garden, but inside the room is boring, loud and not comfortable. The room could perhaps be divided in half with some sort of divider. So it doesn't seem as big and isn't as loud either. Otherwise it tasted good and the service was good.

Very nice staff 😊👍. Very obliging . Very quick preparation of the food 😀. Didn't wait long. So I had nachos with cheese sauce as a starter. And the onion rings. Both very tasty. For the main course, 180 grams of perfectly cooked rump steak and ribs with a baked potato with dip and coleslaw. Heavenly delicious. Ribs very tender and great in taste. Unfortunately it was so powerful that there was no room left for dessert. We would love to come back 😊👍

Food top. Employees are more than top... nice, (child-) friendly and 95% of the time always within reach. Ambience is enough for me (I'm there because of the food 🤤) for some it's too much and for some it's not enough.......for children there are always two sheets of paper to color in and a small playground (slide and swing on the sandy floor ), I think that's enough.

Food was subpar. Mexican dishes are not really Mexican, dry chicken, spaghetti Bolognese sauce in "ground beef taco", complete absense of flavors and bland meat in steak taco. Burgers were OK, and fries were OK. Children's chicken nuggets were served with bubbly expired ketchup in a cup, disgusting.

I was here today and ordered a salad. I told the waiter that there was a fly in it, or he took my salad and brought the same one again and lied to me that I had changed it and it was really unfair, never to see it again

Perfect place for burgers, ribs and wings. Plus homemade lemonade and great desserts! Phenomenal with children as there is plenty of space and even a playground. There are more than enough parking spaces available. I really like it.

Good evening, I don't like public recession, unfortunately I couldn't find your email address, so I'm going this way. I ordered pullet pork burger yesterday: ready-made meat, absolutely tasty glutamate, extremely even super salty and tasty glutamate Guys, you can't buy ready-made products with flavor enhancers for that kind of money.

Accessible by car but definitely worth it for its food and very large portions!

We had the pleasure of dining at Welcome to Touchdown and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the typical Touch Down ambience and the extremely friendly and courteous service. After a long journey we were able to relax here and enjoy the exquisite drinks. The cocktail and spirits menu is impressively extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. For our dinner we chose from the varied menu and were not disappointed. The dishes from American, Mexican and international cuisine were all freshly prepared and very tasty. Particularly noteworthy were the homemade desserts, which were a perfect end to the evening. We can recommend “Welcome to Touchdown” to anyone looking for a cozy place with excellent food and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Large parking lot. Great large terrace that can be pulled out with an awning as sun protection or for warmth in the evening. Service quick and friendly. Food tastes super delicious.

Great staff, you can smoke in a separate restaurant area, a bit drafty because the ceiling is open at the ends, but it was okay. Food was good...but prices were a bit steep! Still recommended

I really loved the Touch Down restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious and every dish we tried was superbly prepared. The ribs in particular were a highlight, tender and juicy with a perfectly balanced BBQ sauce. The ambience was also a big plus. Everything was very tidy and clean, which made the stay particularly pleasant. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, ideal for a relaxed meal. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our time in touchdown. There is no question that we will definitely come back. A big congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful visit!

The atmosphere is very nice and very inviting. The food is excellent, but the service is subpar. You get the feeling that everyone doesn't want to do their job. Only grim faces you look into. So in order to get tips from me/us, something should change as soon as possible.

We were there spontaneously yesterday with three adults and three children. The food, especially the burgers, were really tasty, the service was exceptionally friendly, competent and courteous. We will come back to eat more often.

Here you can eat really good steaks, ribs and chicken wings. The portions are enough and it will fill you up. There is also a children's menu for the little ones. I love coming here.

There are enough parking spaces there. The journey was good too! The place looks nice and the food is good. I would go there again.

Casual restaurant located right on the street with its own parking space in front of the door. I find food and drinks for 2 people with a small starter and normal nachos almost 80 euros very expensive. I know a lot of things have become expensive, but I thought that was crazy. The food was very tasty 😋. Mega friendly staff. Children's menu was available and an extra request for pasta missing from the menu was no problem. We were passing through and would love to come back when we are in the area.

Fast service, food okay.. Something for quick hunger.. We had vegetarian quesadillas.. The ingredients were fresh, a little little guacamole.. But otherwise okay..

UPDATE 3/24/24: It feels like it's gotten even worse. The chilli fries turned out to be lukewarm oven fries with more baked beans than the advertised chilli. Warm nachos with cheese were cold nachos out of a bag with a Chio cheese dip in the bowl. Mexican Combination, which used to be an absolute highlight, tasted the same throughout, even though different types of meat were included. The passion fruit spritzer was more water than juice, watered down with plenty of ice. The service was very taciturn to the point of being almost rude. It's really damn sad what a really great store at the beginning has now become. Recession old: Has deteriorated greatly over the years in the kitchen. Sometimes it feels like the food is just being heated up quickly in the microwave. Which is a shame. The American atmosphere has also suffered in recent years.

The card says what the name promises. I rate the quality of the food as good. The waitress said it was excellent! There is a heated outdoor area where men are allowed to smoke.

Ideal if you want to eat Mexican or American. The burgers are great, especially the Classic. There is a large area to watch sports on the big screen. The service is very accommodating. I'll feast on a few more dishes there.

Everything is superbly designed, friendly staff, the ambience outside and inside is perfectly designed and the menu is extensive, maybe a bit too much but that's what makes Touch down. Cold warm drinks authentically well balanced. Always my pleasure.

Today we were here again after years to celebrate my birthday. The service was quick, but not very informative when it came to questions. The food was okay, but quite expensive for the quality that was later on the plate. Unfortunately, the touchdown cannot keep up with the competition like the Laredos in Siegburg or the Southern Nebraska in Hennef.

An einem Sonntag Abend ohne Vorbestellung problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war spitze; nicht nur schnell sondern auch kompetent. Die Speisekarte ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr gut. Auch die Beilagen waren auf dem Punkt und der Salat sehr frisch. Wenn man hier noch was zu meckern hat, ist einem nicht mehr zu helfen, dann ist man böswillig.

Haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort gemacht! Personal war freundlich,sehr schnell und auf zack, obwohl das Lokal voll war. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker, jederzeit wieder!

Es war klasse ! Das Essen üppig und sehr gut ! Der Service hat uns Tips gegeben und Hinweise aufgrund von zb der Größe der Portionen. Ich persönlich bin kein Fan von den hohen Stühlen, aber das ist nur meine persönliche Einstellung.

Wir hatten die Grill Fajita für 2 Personen . Richtig lecker und sehr viel . Obwohl das Personal nur zu zweit war , ging es sehr zügig . Das Ambiente ist rustikal Amerikanisch .

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier essen und sind sehr postiv überrascht Das Essen war sehr lecker sowie die Mitarbeiter (Ibo und Volkan) super nett und zuvorkommend Außerdem ist das Spielzimmer für Familien eine Bereicherung für Kleinkinder Unser Sohn hatte sehr viel Spaß bei dem ganzen Spielzeug und wir konnten in Ruhe unser Essen genießen . Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder.
