Used to be quite good and unfortunately quality of food has come down drastically when it comes "all you can eat". Too much fried stuff (and smells like reused oil). Went there many times, but never again as it is same bad experience last 2 times.

Best Restaurant i’ve ever been to in Germany. Absolutely recommended. The chef Sooraj Babu is amazing. His food tastes amazing. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Would go there often!

A great all-you-can-eat offering, where you can reorder as often as you like via a tablet. A delicious selection of special dishes, beautifully presented. It's not cheap, but it's a wonderful experience. There are also à la carte options.

On October 9, 2025 We ordered 3 kothuroti, 2 biryani, and one chicken rice. It cost a total of €120, but because of the discount, we paid €90, which is expensive because the food was very salty.

I really enjoyed it, but it's not cheap. I'll be back.

There were six of us there. Nice atmosphere, genuinely attentive service. All-you-can-eat isn't bad in principle, since the concept has been changed and there's no longer a time-to-order ratio. The option to return items if you don't like them is also positive. All of this provides an excellent basis for further improvements. It would have been nice if ordered dishes hadn't just been marked as delivered on the tablet, but had actually been delivered. This happened to each of us several times. Once or twice would have been okay, although even that shouldn't happen given the level of digitalization. Sure, you can reorder, but unfortunately, it was a bit annoying. Especially since we had two tablets for six people. Not a problem if everything goes smoothly, but not if ordered items didn't arrive, were significantly delayed, and/or were incorrectly marked as delivered. The quality of the food was okay, although some dishes were already cold when they arrived. This is particularly unfortunate with lamb dishes. Take heart, I hope things get better.

Very tasty and chic, with a large selection and all-you-can-eat options via a tablet. You should be able to eat spicy food, though, otherwise the selection is somewhat limited. No dogs allowed.

Highly recommended :-) We had lunch there yesterday and chose the unbeatable buffet option (€12 for a plate). The food was delicious and very fresh. The chicken couldn't have been more tender. Overall, I found the restaurant, including the restrooms, extremely clean. We'd love to go back!

I went there for the first time yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. I'd only ever seen the tablet concept in Japanese restaurants. I think it's cool that they also serve Indian food. The food was delicious, and the portions were generously sized so you could try everything. I'll definitely be back, even though it's not around the corner.

Huge hype about nothing. I may be "old-fashioned," but when I go to a restaurant, service is also important to me. Ordering from a tray is a no-go for me. The food was okay.

We've visited Karikaala several times now and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is modern and beautiful! You're guaranteed to be full, and the food tastes truly top-notch! The price of €30 per person may seem quite high at first glance, but it's definitely reflected in the quality of the food. Overall, a definite recommendation!

We went there for the first time today. We really enjoyed it. The weather was nice and we were able to sit outside in the shade and opted for the all-you-can-eat Saturday lunch special for €25 per person. There's plenty of choice – even for me as a vegetarian, it was great! We really enjoyed everything, and it's simply fantastic that you can try so many different delicacies. Ordering via tablet works perfectly, and the service brings the selected dishes quite quickly. Simply TOP! We'll definitely be back soon!

We had a truly lovely evening here. The trip from Cologne was definitely worth it. Everything was just perfect. Excellent, authentic Indian food, generous portion sizes so you could really try a lot, friendly and attentive staff, and a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner today. It was delicious, aromatic, and authentically South Indian. I've rarely eaten such delicious, authentic Indian food outside of India and the UK. It was also visually stunning. The mocktails we had were all delicious. Highly recommended. The service was very nice and friendly. You can order food via a tablet, so you get your food quickly.

The restaurant is far from the main cities. There are two types of Menu. One is normal type like other restaurants and the other one is “All You Can Eat" . For the second one, they will provide you a tab and you need to order for every 15 min : 8 items. I can recommend "All You Can Eat" rather the normal menu. But, I felt that it is best suited for Non-vegetarians. As a vegetarian, I felt that there are no more options as they are for Non-vegetarians. The taste is good but few items are authentic. The desserts are not so authentic and they are okay. Water or drinks are not included in the "All You Can Eat" menu. The advantage with "All You Can Eat" menu is you can taste many items in a menu and in small portions. The disadvantages with "All You Can Eat" are: more suited for Non- Vegetarians and few dishes are not available in the "All You Can Eat". I have also asked them but the ladies serving told that they are unavailable for that day. But my friend also had the same experience of unavailability of few dishes. I do not think this menu's purpose is served, when few dishes (that they knew they will be absolutely ordered). But finally, I can say that the dishes tastes good but not so authentic.

All guests at each table can choose to eat either à la carte or all-you-can-eat. Both options are not available at the same table. As a guest, I don't want to be told what I can or can't eat. To order, a tablet was placed on the table, onto which we were asked to type in our meal preferences one after the other. According to the staff, ordering both starters and main courses at the same time would result in all the dishes being served at the same time. Therefore, we had to enter the main courses into the tablet after eating the starters. In my experience, Indian cuisine is characterized by its distinctive aroma. I missed this somewhat in the dishes served; it could be improved. The portions were sufficiently large.

The service was extremely good. Very attentive and quick. The food tasted fantastic and everything was very well prepared. The order is tracked via iPad and is therefore quick and easy. The all-you-can-eat offer and the many small bowls give you the opportunity to try your hand at the entire menu. For Mother's Day there was even a gift in the form of a small flower arrangement.

Experiencing something unique on May 1st was simply fantastic. Many appetizers as delicacies that were of high quality and covered a wide range of regional Indian cuisine. The desserts were absolutely sensational 👍🏽 We'll be back, fine Indian cuisine in a good atmosphere, authentic but also upscale. Great price!

On April 5th, 2025, eight of us made reservations for the evening and wanted to redeem a birthday dinner. I was refused my a la carte order because others at the same table wanted to eat the menu. We were asked to decide together. Our offer to separate the two tables and invoices was not taken up. Neither the waitress nor the boss were interested in our stated motives and the birthday party; I was literally assumed that I wanted to eat with the others for free. No exception can be made to this house rule. So the only option we had was to allow ourselves to be blackmailed or to separate from our friends for several hours and leave the restaurant hungry. For an Indian restaurant and in this price range an absolute no go, service orientation is poor.

Priced in the upper range. Especially the drinks, but that's common now. The concept with the tablets is great for the operator, but I'm not that enthusiastic about the concept. The food was very good, although I would like to have more non-spicy dishes to choose from, especially if there are children who don't want to eat chicken nuggets. But what particularly bothered me were the black nitrile gloves that the staff wore. I doubt whether this is really more hygienic. That's okay in the kitchen, but in service I find it excessive and unappetizing.

When we first brought our cousins here, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. They tasted very authentic and very very flavourful! The varieties of Indian ice creams were amazing and a must-try. I loved the whole all-you-can-eat idea and all in all it's worth it.

I was happy because the online menu listed a dish with okra, but unfortunately it wasn't available locally. The menu is only available on a tablet. Modern, but sheer. .. You also have to order with the tablet, questions or individual adjustments are rather difficult, if not impossible. We then put something together on the screen. Everything is quite expensive. At least there was a nice sweet welcome from the kitchen. Speaking of sweet, that was all the food we ordered for our taste. Too sweet for us, also very creamy. The volume in the restaurant was quite high, the music tried to drown out the guests and vice versa. Because there are unmarked steps in the restaurant, there is a risk of tripping, so be careful. The service wears gloves, very unhygienic. You rarely wash your hands with gloves on, but you still scratch yourself 🤨 We probably won't visit the restaurant again.

I wasn't satisfied with the food. I have tried better Indian cuisine in Köln-Düsseldorf area. At least one drink should be included in the "all you can eat". Some dishes had just one piece of meat inside. It's worth a try but wouldn't visit it again.

3 stars because I don't think there was too much choice. The dishes were normal so I didn't think the taste was that great. The service was a bit slow even though there weren't that many people. What I really liked were the drinks and starters, great taste and fresh. But I also think it costs a bit much for such conditions. (There's little choice for desserts and doesn't taste good)

The ambience is really nice and the “Vorspeise” tasted good. Took the “Chozha” Unfortunately, the “Hauptspeise” dishes were served cold. For example, the Ghee Roast Dosa, Sambar and some other curries were not served hot. :( Hopefully this gets better the next time we visit :)

The food was impeccable. We deduct one point when eating for subjective reasons, as we are unfortunately very sensitive when it comes to the level of spiciness. If you don't mind spicy, you'll definitely get your taste buds here. Unfortunately, the initially promised “welcome from the kitchen” didn’t reach us, although we didn’t think that was a bad thing. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, and the service was really top – friendly, attentive and always trying to ensure that the guests had a pleasant stay. The concept of ordering from a tablet every 15 minutes is super practical and ensures that you can reorder whenever you feel like it. Due to the high occupancy, the dishes sometimes arrived slightly offset, which occasionally made it a little tricky to determine who owned which dish. But that didn't detract from the enjoyment! Everything was fresh, tasted excellent and beautifully presented. If you're looking for a high-quality all-you-can-eat experience, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

10% more expensive than the average Indian restaurant. But the food quality, service and ambience are equally good here. Some Tamil dishes are another highlight. Friends of ours who were previously very steakhouse-oriented are now fully on board with us and are now enjoying the wide world of spices in Indian cuisine with us.

The location is very nice and cozy. Unfortunately, everything that was really “good” was not available, so it was a total shame for the money that was invested.

The food was a 10/10 and it was a great experience to be able to try so many dishes, many of which we had never eaten before ☺️ But what particularly stands out are the warm people who work there and stand behind them! Thank you for the great evening!
