Haus Stolzenbach in Lohmar

Yesterday, we were at Haus Stolzenbach for a celebration with about 60 people and had ordered a buffet. The room was festively decorated, and the tables were set for six people each. There was plenty of space, and even a play area for the children. The service was friendly, unobtrusive, and quick. As a welcome from the kitchen, we were served two kinds of bread with butter and lard. For the appetizer, we had potato pancakes with salad, with or without salmon, and applesauce for vegetarians. This was served as a plated dish at the table, attractively arranged, and the potato pancakes were piping hot. The buffet included delicious mixed vegetables, potato gratin, spaetzle, red cabbage, venison roast in a delicious sauce with red wine pear, freshly carved roast beef, and vegetarian ravioli with a meatless filling. Clarified butter was available for the vegetables, and peppercorn sauce and hollandaise sauce for the roast beef. Everything was delicious, piping hot, and we were absolutely impressed with the quality! The food was constantly replenished until everyone was finally satisfied! For dessert, which was again served at the table, there was a trilogy of chocolate mousse, hazelnut ice cream with cinnamon plum compote, and a speculoos crème brûlée, also beautifully presented with fresh fruit. In conclusion: we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with friendly service and delicious food. I didn't hear a single negative comment from our entire group. Highly recommended!

We eat at this restaurant regularly. This time, something seemed to bother one of the waiters. As a result, we had to wait a full 58 minutes from our appetizer to our main course. Anyone who enjoys this kind of dining experience should definitely go there! Afterwards, things were fine again. The owner is simply a clever and good man!

We were invited to a birthday party and were in the vaulted cellar. The ambiance was great, a bit too dark for eating, but okay. The food was very tasty, but the portions were a bit small. The service was nice and friendly, although at times it took a while for them to notice that we were out of drinks. Definitely recommended in the summer.

Great location and superb restaurant. Friendly, attentive staff with an eye for what matters most – customer service! The grounds are beautifully maintained and offer a lovingly designed setting, even for younger guests. A game reserve with fallow deer is located right next to the hotel.

We celebrated our humanist wedding ceremony and reception here at the beginning of September. A beautiful location that combines everything you could want for a wedding, with a lovely garden and fantastic rooms. A wonderful blend of old and new. We and our guests were all thrilled with the food, the service, and the venue. Everyone was incredibly friendly and dedicated. We celebrated our wedding with 50 guests at this wonderful venue on September 5, 2025, and we are simply completely satisfied and grateful. Starting with the planning, where my wife was able to come by ten times to plan the decor and ask questions, through to the uniquely delicious food, friendly staff, a stunningly beautiful location, and perfect service. The price for the food and drinks is just right. We had a separate appointment to plan the menu, where we were able to express all our wishes and benefit from the chef's advice. Both the delivery of the wedding cake and all of our spontaneously planned ideas were made possible. There are private restrooms just for the group and a beautiful, well-kept garden that guests can use, which glows beautifully in the dark. Plenty of parking is available, and there are diverse and uniquely beautiful photo spots directly around the manor house. The restaurant provides a screen if needed; you just need to organize a projector yourself. Every one of our guests felt completely at home, and we can truly recommend this hotel from top to toe, for both small and large groups. With that in mind, a big thank you again to all the lovely people who were there for us that day.

We live nearby but have never been here. Big mistake! Friendly, attentive service and truly local meat, prepared to perfection. The fallow deer is right behind the house, and fresh mushrooms are available in season. Absolutely reasonable prices for the excellent quality.

Haus Stolzenbach is a truly lovely little insider tip in the Rhein-Sieg district. Agron and his team conjure up a wonderfully delicious meal every time, and with the best music and technology from DJ Pali, they create a wonderful ambiance for weddings, birthdays, and events of all kinds. 5-star ratings are extremely meticulous here. I wholeheartedly give Haus Stolzenbach 10 out of 5 stars. It's worth inquiring!

We celebrated our wedding here two weeks ago, including a non-denominational ceremony. The guests raved about the amazing food and the fantastic service. I don't even want to start on the ambiance. Everything is done right here.

Today, we stopped by Haus Stolzenbach with the family. On June 22, 2025, with very high temperatures outside, we enjoyed a very pleasant seat under the mature trees in the well-kept outdoor area. The service staff was attentive and friendly. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and simply delicious. Thank you for the wonderful time in this harmonious restaurant.

Always a pleasure. Especially in summer, sitting under the chestnut tree at a beautifully set table, where the proximity to the street doesn't bother you. Very friendly service.

Although the beer garden is on the Agger cycle path, it seemed that cyclists were unwelcome. The waitress ignored me for fifteen minutes. Finally the young man from the other side of the beer garden came and took my order.

This year we discovered Haus Stolzenbach and have been there several times. For good reasons, because we were completely thrilled every time. The food was of the highest quality – freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and an absolute pleasure every time. The service was also excellent: the staff was attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive! You can feel that real hospitality is used here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is absolutely cozy and stylish in the various rooms - ideal for a relaxed evening or a special meal with friends or family. Next we will celebrate a big birthday there! We can highly recommend Haus Stolzenbach, whether for a stop during a bike tour, for a cozy dinner with friends or for a larger celebration.

The ambiance is simply stunning – a historic manor house with plenty of charm and attention to detail. You immediately feel at home and welcome. The service was first-class. The staff was attentive, friendly, and courteous. Our server was very competent and was able to provide us with excellent advice on our food and drink selection. The food was an absolute highlight. The kitchen offers a variety of regional and seasonal dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. We opted for the three-course menu and were overwhelmed by the quality and flavor. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. Haus Stolzenbach is the ideal place for a romantic dinner for two, a cozy meal with friends, or a larger celebration. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Wir hatten Freitagabend einen Tisch reserviert. Ich habe mich an der Theke angemeldet, dahinter stand ein Kellner, offensichtlich stumm. Keine Begrüßung und als ich mich vorstellte und nach unserem Tisch fragte, blätterte er stumm in seinem Kalender, kam hinter der Theke hervor, nahm ein Tablett mit Getränken und winkte uns stumm, ihm zu folgen. Im großen Gastraum, deutete er auf einen Kleinen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen, ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Das war mir jetzt aber zu blöd und ich sagte ihm, das mir dieser Katzentisch nicht gefällt. Und siehe da, der Typ hatte eine Stimme und brauchte die Worte heraus: Das ist ein Zweiertisch, eher unfreundlich, aber immerhin. Ich sagte, den können Sie behalten und wollte mit meiner Partnerin gehen. Da hat er uns einen anderen Tisch zugewiesen der besser war. Zu Essen gab es je 2 Schweine Medaillons umwickelt mit Bacon, grüne Bohnen und Kartoffelgratin und Pfefferrahmsauce. Kleine Portionen, aber sehr lecker. Dazu je 2 Biermixgetränke Das Ganze für 78 € Müssen wir nicht noch mal haben

Beautiful location in a historical atmosphere. The hotel-restaurant is located in an old estate. Lots of wood, nicely decorated. Friendly and attentive staff. The food was good and tasty. The prices are a little higher. Nevertheless, a recommendation for your next little weekend trip into nature, which you could perhaps combine with a short walk.

It was a wonderful evening. There were eight of us there for dinner. The fireplace room is very cozy and it was very nicely decorated. Nach einiger Zeit waren wir wieder im Haus Stolzenbach.Dort erwarteten uns gepflegte Gastlichkeit, sehr schön eingedeckte Tische und leckere Speisen.Der Service war wie immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Wir entschieden uns für Rumpsteak mit Salat, Gamba auf Aioli( 1 Stück für 4,50€, was sehr überteuert war) Mediterraner Vorspeisenteller und als Dessert Eissplittertorte. Natürlich ist das Restaurant eher hochpreisig, bietet aber auch gute Qualität.Vor, neben und hinter dem Haus befindet sich reichlich Platz für Außengastronomie.Parkplätze sind auch genügend vorhanden.

We celebrated our wedding at Haus Stolzenbach and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is fantastic for a garden wedding, but the rooms, especially the large hall in the winter garden, are also beautiful. The food was very good. Our starter and dessert were served at our table and the main course as a buffet. This was something different than the classic wedding buffet and we really enjoyed it. The service was also great. Agron and his team always accompanied us calmly through the planning and always found a solution for everything at the festival. Because Haus Stolzenbach impressed us and our families so much, we celebrated my grandmother's 85th birthday there this year. PS: There are wonderful photo spots around the house for all bridal couples and photographers.

Sehr leckere Wildgerichte und sehr leckere Soßen. Ambiente etwas bieder. Leider waren die Bedienungen an Pfingsten sehr unaufmerksam, daher nur 3 von 5 Punkten. Mehrfach die Weinkarte bestellt. Erst zum Ende das Hauptganges kam der Wein dann. Als der Hautgang kam, waren die Teller der Vorspeise noch nicht abgeräumt. Schade, da geht mehr, da das Essen sehr gut war.

Das Haus war sehr gut besucht, wir wollten Das Essen probieren da wir unsere Hochzeit dort planen wollten. Was soll ich sagen wir bekamen kurzfristig einen Tisch, Das Essen war überdurchschnittlich gut. Der nette Herr zeigte uns einen möglichen Raum für die Feier. Perfekt selten so einen Service erlebt. Wenn Die Hochzeits Feier auch dieses Niveau hat pergekt.

Tolles Ambiente, exquisites Essen

Wir waren gestern mit unserer Belegschaft zum weihnachtlichen Gansessen dort. Die Vorfreude war gut, da uns das Restaurant aufgrund etlicher Besuche, die allerdings einige Jahre zurückliegen, gut bekannt war. Wir waren am Ende alle enttäushct, weil außer der Deko (der Laden ist ja echt hübsch) nichts stimmte. Der "Nachschlag" Gans war kalt und kam nur auf ausdrückliche Anforderung, als die Bedienung abräumen wollte, Beilagen gab es nicht mehr. Sauce war auch kalt. Eine Nachzüglerin bekam nicht einmal die Karte angeboten. Um Getränke zu bestellen, mussten wir ständig auf uns aufmerksam machen und als wir um die Rechnung baten, warteten wir 30 Minuten. Dann haben wir vorn am Tresen gezahlt, weil sich ja niemand um uns scherte. Dort stand ein Korb mit Zitronen und Orangen (hoffentlich nicht für die Getränke) und die Früchte waren teilweise verschimmelt. In den Toiletten fehlte es an Handtücher, so dass die Gäste Toilettenpapier nahmen, das dann im ganzen Raum rumflog, weil der Papierkorb voll war. Ehrlich? Es mangelt eigentlich an allen Ecken und wir haben beschlossen, dass das unser letzter Besuch dort war. Preis-Leistung mangelhaft!

Zu besonderen Anlässen gehen wir gerne ins Haus Stolzenbach essen. Gute Küche, ich habe einen sehr empfindlichen Magen alles sehr bekömmlich. Freundliches Personal und eine angenehme Atmosphäre.

Tolles Ambiente ABER im Biergarten am Sonntag war es definitiv zu laut, soviel Verkehr wegen der Strasse, da hilft auch die tolle Hecke nichts. In Ruhe Essen ist nicht möglich. daher für uns nicht erholsam gewesen. Das Essen ist gut, aber es wird seehr viel Salz verwendet, Preise für ein deftiges deutsches Essen sind viel zu hoch. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Personal super lieb.

Hier gibt es in ansprechender Atmosphäre Wild aus dem eigenen Gehege. Die Speisen sind nicht nur sehr wohlschmeckend, sondern auch ansprechend dargeboten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast sehr wohl.

Ich kenn Haus Stolzenbach seit ca. 40 Jahren. Leider hat sich die Küche seit ca. 2 Jahren kontinuierlich verschlechtert. was ich anfangs als Ausrutscher bewertet habe, hat sich nunmehr gänzlich durchgesetzt. Das Fleisch ist sehnig, das Gemüse teilweise verkocht..Salat immer öfter schlecht gewaschen. Der Gipfel war letzte Woche die Gans: Gummi pur mit geschmackloser Sossenpampe und matschigen TK-Rosenkohl. Die offenen Weine werden auch immer schlechter und beinhalten selbst nach einem Viertel schon Kopfschmerzen. Einzig der Service ist professionell, aber das reißt es nicht raus. Wir sind da jetzt leider raus

Ich habe den Damwildbraten gegessen, er war butterzart! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Der einzige Kritikpunkt meinerseits ist, dass die 3 G Regeln in keinster Weise kontrolliert wurden.

Ganz spontan, netter Kellner, toller Terrassenplatz, die Straße war schon immer da und nervt leicht, aber ansonsten wunderbar, Stoffservietten, tolles Wiener Schnitzel, super leckerer Salat, hervorragende Bratkartoffeln, leckeres und perfekt gezapftes Pils, Parkplatz vor dem Haus ausreichend groß, wir kommen wieder

Ob man lieber auf der strassenseitigen Terrasse, dem großen Panorama-Saal mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten, in einer gemütlichen Stuben, im Biergarten oder der Schenke sitzt - das Essen ist durchweg gut bis sehr gut bürgerlich. Der Weinkeller ist ausreichend sortiert, das Kölsch kommt frisch in unaufdringlichen 02er Gebinden. Das Wasser stammt schickimickifrei aus der Region. Unser 6er Tisch hatte ausgezeichnetes, wunderbar mürbes Wildragout, ein gut gebratenes, saftiges Iberico-Kotelett, auf den Punkt gegarten Wolfsbarsch und eine schmackhafte Portion Nudeln mit reichlich Gambas. Dazu begleitete uns ein Lagrein, den wir uns haben zwei Grad kühler machen lassen. Abschließend Creme Brulee, eine Mordsportion Eissplitter und Zitronensorbet mit einem Crement. Freundliche, schlagfertige, humorvolle und belastbare Bedienung, wie ich es mag. Zu bemeckern habe ich wie immer, dass das Thema "Veggie" wie in quasi allen Kneipen der Region zu kurz kommt. Den Köchlis täte ein wenig Fantasie im Umgang mit Gemüse&Co ganz gut. Wir sind Wiederholungstäter, nicht nur, weil es fußläufig ist.

Nachdem wir erst mal vergeblich darauf gewartet haben, dass wir unseren – weit im Voraus reservierten Tisch – zugewiesen bekommen, hat man uns dann schließlich an einen dreckigen, nicht eingedeckten Tisch gesetzt. Da durften wir dann 50 Minuten auf unsere Getränke warten. Nach eineinhalb Stunden kam dann unser Essen. Aber leider nicht vollständig; die Hälfte fehlte. Wir durften dann einen Teil des Essens kalt genießen. Wäre es auf einmal auf dem Teller gelandet, dann wäre es vermutlich ganz ok gewesen. Ach ja, natürlich kam auch niemand an den Tisch um einmal nach der Befindlichkeit zu fragen oder uns die Möglichkeit zu geben Getränke nachzubestellen. Wir wollten eigentlich noch Nachtisch haben – das Risiko wollten wir dann doch nicht mehr eingehen. Vielen Dank für den verdorbenen Abend – wir werden unsere Erfahrungen gerne mit anderen teilen.

Speisen, Atmosphäre und Service sind empfehlenswert. Allerdings wurde von unserer Bedienung die Maske nur über dem Mund und unterhalb der Nase getragen. Dadurch haben wir uns nicht mehr so wohl und sicher gefühlt. Die Hygiene-Regeln müssten auch vom Kellner umgesetzt werden!

Alle Speisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut und ansprechend serviert.Das Personal sehr freundlich und beflissen,trotzt CORONA Einschraenkungen!

Wir waren das zweite Mal zum Weihnachtsgans-Essen mit unseren besten Kunden dort und haben einen Gewölbekeller für uns reserviert (12-14 Personen). Alle waren begeistert in diesem urigen Ambiente, die Mitarbeiter waren extrem zuvorkommend. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die Gans inkl. Beilagen war sehr gut. Toll ist, dass man einen kleinen eigenen Raum hat und nicht in einem großen Saal sitzt. Das trägt zur Stimmung bei. Gerne wieder!
