My wife and I ate here today as we are currently in Thale for a weekend trip. I can only recommend the food and the service. The staff is really very nice and helpful. All in all we were really very satisfied. Edit: We were there again today. We were warmly welcomed again and the food was very good again this time. We had the “Little Pirate” twice in two versions. We would like to eat here more often. Since this is unfortunately not possible for us, we wanted to express our satisfaction to the restaurant with this rating and a tip of over 10 euros. We hope that was okay. Anyone who is a guest in Thale am Mythenweg should definitely stop by here. Everything is great.

Nice shop! We came back from a big mountain bike tour. We actually just wanted to have something to drink, but we also decided on two small appetizers. Baked sheep's cheese and garlic dip with baguette. Both were easy to make, but I personally enjoyed them very much. The ambience outside is something like grandma's in the allotment garden but still quiet and cozy. The waitress (a gentleman) was very friendly and attentive... rather a bit shy. Well suited for a stop after a bike tour or hike. 👍

It seemed to be the only restaurant in the city center. The reception and service were very friendly, courteous and professional and the pinza that was served to us was very tasty! Bravo!

Today we ate such delicious chanterelles with magical dumplings... just the right thing after a long walk through the Harz Mountains. Very attentive staff and the boss cooks here herself. A big plus point for that

We were passing through after a long day of hiking. We had chosen the TdO because of a reasonably good rating in the area. It should be mentioned that card payments are currently not possible. Drinks and food (2xPinsa) came quickly and both were very tasty! Unfortunately we had to wait 27 minutes for our billing before we took matters into our own hands. Even if there is a lot going on, please get the bill ready straight away. But everyone is still nice and nice. Thank you very much and it will definitely work better next time (we will ask for the bill when we order the food). Best regards.

Price on card does not match price invoice, eat lukewarm to cold. Restaurants are a no-go

We went for dinner on June 14, 2024 and had ox cheeks and the chicken curry. Taste very good. Sauce well seasoned. Ox cheeks very tender. Spaetzle served with vegetables went well and everything was well coordinated. Price/performance is right. It's a shame that the interior seems a bit strange. It looks more like a Greek restaurant, not a Tuscan-style restaurant. We would definitely go there again. Highly recommended.

We ate there one evening during our vacation in Thale. Everyone found something on the menu and everyone enjoyed it. The friendly staff are particularly noteworthy. Gladly again on the next vacation.

Just because Aperol and Limocello Spritz in the wine glass 0.2 (it just turned out that the menu says 0.3😠) for a cheap €6.90..... Sorry, a couple obviously came from the area and they You get a larger glass that feels like twice as much.... poured😲. Find the error🤪. Now we go further down the ice cream shop and you get a really full glass, for €7.80 but it feels like twice as much, basically 2-in-1. Sorry but that doesn't work at all!!!

Unfortunately, I feel completely disappointed right now. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the price list before we ordered drinks. Doesn't matter. 2 Limoncello and 2 Aperol Sprizz ordered for 6.90 euros. Contents one mini wine glass. Guests at the table also ordered Aperol - double the amount of content. Now, stupidly late, I read online in the card that the contents were 0.3l. That was definitely not the case for us. A few meters further at the ice cream parlor the price is higher, but more than twice the volume and more beautifully decorated! We really feel really betrayed!! Sorry

Had dinner there yesterday for Walburgis Night. The food is really amazing. The team is very nice and accommodating. We'll definitely be back next year.

Let me tell you right away - the food is very, very, very tasty! Believe me, it’s not so easy to expect a compliment from me))) The dish - leg of lamb with potatoes and salad - is freshly prepared, balanced in taste and temperature. I didn't give it 5 because they waited a long time. True, there was a large company in front of us and we realized that we were cooking for them first. If we had been warned about the waiting time and offered a light snack, it would have brightened up the wait. I didn't like the decoration of the restaurant... but, again, the food was excellent. It's worth the wait)))

We were there twice this year and each time it was positive. Very nice, friendly staff. The food was always super tasty and hot. The prices are okay for what you get.

We really liked the meal, Saltimbocca from pike-perch fillet, the sauce was delicious and the portion was large enough.

What "back then" started in a small format as "Ouzo", then expanded and is now the "Tuscany of the East": we still love eating there and have had many a family celebration organized there! The boss and her team are absolutely authentically friendly, always in a good mood (even with really annoying and nagging guests) and also fulfill special requests (I'm familiar with that 😇). The Easter lunch today was also really delicious. Unfortunately, you can't eat as much as you would like 😋 Luckily, since I'm now moving back to Thale, I'm looking forward to being able to eat there more often; or simply “just” drinking a cocktail after work in the summer 🍹 Thank you very much and see you soon 🍀 (Easter 2023)

Great restaurant, super delicious food, very courteous service - top rating!

We held our annual Christmas get-together among friends in the “Tuscany of the East” restaurant. As a guest you immediately felt welcome; the service was very friendly. Even a small mishap while serving didn't affect the meal and could be wiped away with a laugh. Mistakes/mishaps can happen. (It's not just because Christmas is just around the corner that you can be polite in this regard.) I ultimately decided on the beef cheeks with rosemary potatoes and a soufflé for dessert. I can definitely recommend the former. I would order it again immediately. (And between you and me: If I had been alone, I probably would have ordered another portion, simply because it was so delicious.) The soufflé was a dream and a perfect end to the meal. Both were pure enjoyment and I wished that the plate would never be empty. 🥰 Since the eye also eats, a short word about it. The dishes absolutely kept what they promised visually. I/we would like to come back. ☺️ And thank you for the group photo. 😊🤶🏻

Wir waren hier mitten in der Woche essen. Das Restaurant war zu dieser Zeit (19.00 Uhr) mäßig besucht. Nachdem wir die Getränke bekommen hatten, bestellen wir als Vorspeise den Knoblauchdip und den warmen Meeresfrüchtesalat, als Hauptgang die Kalbsleber und das Zanderfilet. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Nach kurzer Zeit kam dann auch schon die Vorspeise. Der Mehresfrüchtesalat und auch der Dip waren wirklich gelungen. Der Hauptgang ließ dann auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Der Geschmack und auch die Anrichtweise lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles war auf den Punkt gebraten und sehr lecker. Den Salat konnten wir uns von der Salatbar selber zusammenstellen. Bis auf einige Zutaten wie Rote Beete, eingelegte Gurken, Mais... war alles frisch zubereitet. Die Speisemengen waren nicht üppig, aber ausreichend und dafür von hoher Qualität. Mit der zusätzlichen Auswahl vom Salatbuffet wird jeder satt. Wir waren begeistert und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Thale wieder hier einkehren.

Während wir Thale besuchten und den ganzen Tag die Attraktionen in den Bergen genossen, überkam uns ein ziemlicher Hunger, und nachdem wir die umliegenden Restaurants überprüft hatten, wurde unsere Aufmerksamkeit auf die "Toscana des Ostens" gelenkt. Es hat herausgestellt, dass es ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit freundlicher Bedienung ist. Mit Hilfe der Kellnerin entschied ich mich für das mit Käse überbackene Meeresfrüchte-Schnitzel, Ich habe es scherzhaft ein Meerschweinchen genannt. Ein sehr interessantes und schmackhaftes Gericht. Die ungewöhnliche Kombination erwies sich als Hit, denn sie bereitete mir großen Genuss. Auch meine Frau und meine Kinder waren mit ihren Gerichten zufrieden. Sehr gut gefallen hat mir auch, dass man sich am kalten Buffet seinen eigenen Salat aus den vorhandenen Produkten zusammenstellen konnte, und davon gab es reichlich, z. B. gebratene Paprika mit Mais, Tomaten, frische Gurken, Gurken aus der Dose, Oliven, Salat, weißes Dressing, Öl usw.

Die Karte war interessant, das Essen dann doch nicht wie die Karte versprach! Es war alles frisch aber etwas überteuert wenn man die Salatbar nicht nutzt….. Viel Glück bei der Suche nach dem Koch!

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern nach einem Wandertag in dem Restaurant essen. Leider war das Essen nicht ganz unser Geschmack. Die Preise waren unserer Ansicht auch überzogen. Wir haben ohne Probleme einen Platz bekommen.

30.09.23 für alles 5 Sterne, hier kocht die Chefin selbst. Alle Gerichte liebevoll garniert und sehr geschmackvoll. Und der Limoncello sau lecker. Wunderschönes Ambiente im Innnenbereich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Da gibt man gerne ein gutes Trinkgeld. Alles Gute Ihnen und viele freundliche Gäste. Wir waren die 3 von gestern Abend drinnen, 20.00 h, 2 Frauen und ein Mann 😁

Haben dort Ende August Hochzeit gefeiert. Es hat mir sehr gefallen. Der Service war super. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Kann das Lokal weiterempfehlen.

Sehr laut, wenn man draußen sitzt. Fast alle Tische reserviert. Kein Sitzkissen oder nur nasse. Mussten erst Kissen anfordern. Fertiggericht Schnitzel nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man Fleischer Schnitzel kennt.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert, wir waren sehr begeistert, das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente waren einfach toll. Würde ich jederzeit wieder so machen. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir sind rein zufällig auf das Restaurant gestoßen. Obwohl erst 13.00 Uhr geöffnet wurde, durften wir schon 15 min früher eintreten. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind. Auf Wunsch wurde unsere mitgebrachte Kinderrnahrung aufgewärmt. Einfach Klasse. Unser bestelltes Essen war super super lecker. Das Personal absolut freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir sagen ganz lieben Dank an das gesamt Team.

Es war einfach wirklich Spitzenklasse,das Essen absolut spitze, mega lecker, vor allem auch das Personal ist klasse, spitzenmäßig !!!!!!!! ich habe Nudeln mit Shrimps.. gegessen, so gut habe ich noch nie gegessen!! wir kommen auf jeden Fall definitiv wieder!!!!

Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist zu teuer. Dafür, dass auf der Speisekarte alles wird frisch zubereitet steht, landet es frisch von der TK in die Pfanne und dafür passt der Preis dann nicht. Das Essen hat dennoch geschmeckt und die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Jedoch wie gesagt, wer groß in die Karte schreibt alles wird frisch zubereitet der sollte das dann auch so machen oder entfernt den Satz aus der Karte.

Das Essen ist gut und kommt zügig an den Tisch, der Hygienedeckel am Salatbuffet muss mit einer Hand hochgehalten werden, somit kann man seinen Teller nicht festhalten(sehr umständlich für die Selbstbedienung) Aussengastro wird durch Fußgänger gekreuzt, Strassenlärm durch starken Autoverkehr, im Service: 1 Fachkraft und 2 Hilfskräfte, wobei eine Hilfskraft direkt neben unserem Tisch parkte, bei steigender Gästezahl entstehen zu lange Wartezeiten auf einen weiteren noch Wunsch , bzw. wird Bestelltes vergessen, die Speisekarte für den Publikumsverkehr im Aussenbereich befindet sich direkt neben einem Tisch, an dem gespeist wurde ( es passte eine Hand zwischen einem speisenden Gast und einer Leserin der Karte), Fazit: Die Küche ist gut, Service und Ambiente in der Aussengastro sind ausbaufähig!

War mit der Familie zum Mittagessen da, sehr lecker und empfehlenswert 😁
