Absolutely no understanding that the store is not completely overcrowded. What's wrong with you, Prenzlauer Berg? I have rarely been to such a delicious restaurant. We had various starters, and the dumplings and spring rolls were so incredibly delicious, I wanted to try them out. and the cocktails - never had anything so delicious! And the service was sweeter than sugar, really great! 12/10 points! Run there before people realize this is the best restaurant ever!

There were 6 of us eating there and it was fantastic! An absolute recommendation!! We'll definitely be back. The tapas dishes are just great! We were soooo full. And the Mexico drink is also very tasty! :P Thank you for the great stay.

Unfortunately, I can’t give it more than 3. I specifically asked for a non-spicy dish (with shrimp. See photo), the menu doesn’t say it’s spicy. I can eat medium spicy, so I'm not exactly one of those people who doesn't eat spicy at all. But the dish was really spicy! My husband had the same problem. There was a very nice waiter, it was clear that he tried very hard and, apparently, had been working only recently. But I can’t rate him higher than 4, since the waiter said: no, the dishes are not spicy at all. I ask you to pay more attention to this important point and indicate it in the menu!

The taste of the food was okay, but it was actually a bowl of rice noodles with a little dressing and a few pieces of meat. Unfortunately no authentic Vietnamese herbs - all in all okay, but not very exciting. Nice service and nice atmosphere.

A culinary masterpiece in the heart of Berlin! Our FoodClub had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable evening at TopTep and we can only say: this restaurant is an absolute must for all lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. As soon as you enter the restaurant at Kollwitzstrasse 48, you are greeted by a warm, inviting ambience that immediately makes you want an extraordinary culinary experience. The highlight of the evening was without a doubt the Vietnamese tapas. The selection of small dishes, prepared with the utmost care, was simply sensational. We were particularly impressed by the Gỏi Cuốn, freshly prepared summer rolls that played with a variety of flavors - simply heavenly! The homemade Há Cảo, steamed dumplings filled with juicy shrimp and fresh vegetables, were also a poem. These tapas offer a perfect opportunity to sample Vietnam's diverse flavors and are great for sharing. What also pleasantly surprised us was the excellent price-performance ratio. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices are absolutely fair and reasonable. It is rare to find a restaurant in Berlin that offers such exquisite dishes at such reasonable prices. The service was consistently first class: friendly, attentive and always ready to accommodate our needs. You can tell that the TopTep team puts their heart and soul into giving their guests an unforgettable evening. We particularly enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and the attention to detail that is reflected in every aspect of the restaurant. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend TopTep - be it for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends or simply to let yourself be pampered. Really amazing reopening, I love the new menu and the new items, unique recipes and delicious food! The food on the menu actually looks like the prepared food. Although not a fully vegan restaurant, still has a lot of vegan options! cheers :)

Had to update my review because it’s not fully vegan anymore :( Changed from 5 to 3 stars… I appreciate good vegan options in restaurants that offer food for every taste but I loved it here because of the fact that it was 100% vegan… ***** Original review: My new favorite place!!! Everything was so exceptional delicious! Went with a non-vegan friend and he was amazed by the food as well. We tried many of the small dishes (the mushroom soup was my favorite but everything was so tasty) and had the glassnoodle salad from the mains. Desserts and drinks were great, too. Service was lovely but I think it’s a lot to ask from only two people (one kitchen, one salon) to run a restaurant on a Friday night only by themselves. They did great, tho! Will go back this week :)

I had "Com Tam", which was ok, but there are 2 major ingredients missing: crispy pork fat and scallion oil. But the dish i had here was the best one so far (among the 3 places I had Com Tam)

A reservation was made through DiscoEat and the offer was a 20% discount on the meal. I ordered a dish, then was tricked and told that you had to choose 2 dishes, the second one would be free because you booked via the app. I was irritated but happy, had the second meal packed and then had to pay for both dishes at the end with a small discount, in the end I paid more than I saved, that's not the point of DiscoEat, the restaurants should stick to it or end the cooperation . Honesty would be appropriate, it brought the entire visit down.

We tried it and advise: it's better NOT to go to this restaurant! Unfortunately, the food is BELOW average like the pick-up Asian, everything tasted artificial, with a lot of glutamate AND: Vegan restaurant with A LOT OF MEAT!? After this meal we felt so bad that night that we were glad we had 2 bathrooms... but the worst thing was when we were sitting outside at the dirty table (the entire terrace is dirty), there was actually a RAT running around there Entrance (FROM the entrance?) long, NO joke! When we walked past this restaurant again days later in the evening, we saw another rat on the terrace (the same one... or...??). NEVER AGAIN ! Unfortunately you have to give 1 star here, otherwise you can't post anything: we say ZERO!

The vegan food was great, but I came specifically for the “Mexican Tiger” cocktail, which the new waitress couldn’t mix. Too bad, maybe next time...

We were totally impressed by the taste, service and prices. I can only recommend the restaurant. The food was very authentic, super tasty. The waitress was really friendly and didn't forget anything. All extra requests were taken into account and were even taken into account when I ordered again, even though I had forgotten it myself. The price-performance ratio is great, a great restaurant. Very friendly service. The pork chop and omelette dish was quite good. Com Ga Hoi An didn't convince us because the chicken was unfortunately too dry. The iced tea was refreshing, but tasted a bit artificial.

My friend and I came here to enjoy food. I didn't find it particularly tasty and I've read a few bad articles about this restaurant, but I still came here to try it. It's true that there is nothing spectacular or tasty, the service is not attentive and it feels like guests are not welcome here. I see a lot of orders and quite a few delivery people. When I came to eat I wanted to sit outside because it was quite hot but the table was very dirty so I decided to sit inside. The restaurant didn't have any desserts which was really sad. I only came here once to try it out and never went back.🙂‍↔️

The food was really bad. The staff were nice and the drinks were fine. The bun cha was served with only a bag of lettuce, while the menu said it came with a mix of herbs, the dipping sauce of the bun cha was very bland, the pork on the bao was tasteless and the papaya salad while nice was tiny. I don’t recommend eating here.

Incredibly delicious food and a great vegan selection!

The food wasn’t flavorful. I have tried several Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin and the food here was the worst out of all the places I have been to. We ordered crab shrimp rolls as starters which was the only item that tasted okay. We ordered in main course the chicken and rice , the rice seemed like overcooked and even though it was specified that it is jasmine rice .. it lacked the fragrance that usually jasmine rice has. The chicken lacked any flavours at all it was just plain boiled chicken. Other than that the second main dish was the soupy flat noodles dish and the broth wasn’t flavorful at all. The soft boiled egg in it was not soft at all it was rubbery. The waiter serving us was polite and ambience + service was good but sadly the food was totally below average based on all the Vietnamese restaurants we have tried so far.

The waiter was nice but the food was so oversalted. The starters (calamari rings and crispy tofu cubes) were not crispy at all, just oily and mushy. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it

So the ambience is ok, service is very nice. But ultimately and crucially, it was the food. Horrible really. Everything was over salted. Afterwards my throat was as dry as a piece of desert bread. I had to buy 2 liters of water when shopping late to balance the salt balance in the body. If I have water accumulation on my calves at 60, I know who is to blame. A little tip to my non-Asian guests. For Vietnamese people, if the outside of the store looks good, avoid it. Take a big detour. The shop looks run down and uninviting and a grandma is cooking. I’ve been ordering take out for a while but last two times the order was tasteless and it didn’t taste like before at all, I didn’t even finish my plate and definitely will never get food from this place again! What a disappointment

We ordered a com nam kho and it it was the worst thing we ever ate, there was no taste, the sauce looked like it was defrosted. Definitely never will come back again. I don’t know how you can serve customers with that

A portal to Vietnam, as soon as we entered through the door we felt like we entered a restaurant in Vietnam. The food was very good with unique options that I haven't seen before in a vietnamis restaurant. with 2 menus, one with meat and one vegan. *someting special to keep in mind, some of the menu main dishes could come in 2 sizes. Choosing 3 different dishes with small size will help you enjoy and taste more! * The lady in the counter was very nice and helpful, we asked to move a table and she happily helped us to move. Also, she recommended us food and options to enjoy.

This is not your generic Vietnamese restaurant which you find at any corner. I am pleasantly surprised by the food and experience. Party of 2. We ordered stir fried Udon and Pho Bo Pho Co special. The pho is tasty, great depth of flavor, stew meat is tender and delicious. The stir fry was good too and I enjoyed it. Both dishes were impressive in their way that we debated which one is the star of the show. We ended the meal with Vietnamese coffee. More, I sincerely appreciate the staff being helpful, professional, nice, organized and communicative. Well done. Quality location price ratio is good 👌🏻. Definitely would come back here.

Was looking for a vegan restaurant that would satisfy my group of both vegan and non-vegan people for a working dinner, found TopTep and they all loved it. The vegan options were so good, just like the traditional versions. It was affordable, the quality and the quantity was good (I paid 20€ for a entrée, main, dessert and drink). The portions are good, generous even 🤣 The staff was so patient with us ❤️ would 100% recommend

Der vegane Papaya-Salat war leider recht bitter, den würden wir nicht noch mal nehmen. Ansonsten war der Mango-Lassi wahnsinnig lecker. Schade, dass so wenig Kunden zu der Zeit da waren. Wir wünschen dem Laden alles gute und würden wieder kommen

Sorry, aber war ne ziemliche Katastrophe. Waren zu sechst mit 2 Kindern da. Haben bis zu 2 Stunden auf ne Vorspeise gewartet, für ne Apfelschorle auch 30 min. Die Bedienung war nett und bemüht. Das Essen, wenn es denn kam, war gut. Aber es war soo chaotisch. Viele Dinge wurden vergessen, viel zu spät gebracht, falsch gebracht, etc. Leider gibt es auch nicht mehr so viele vegetarische Gerichte durch die Umstellung der Karte.
