Meine freundin meinte es war das beste sushi ihres lebens! Und ich bin auch ihrer Meinung! Es ist wirklich authentisch, sehr lecker und als japaner meiner meinung nach das beste Sushi!!!!!

Sehr gute japanische Küche. Endlich Mal wieder Katsudon essen (früher mit Schwein, jetzt leider nur noch mit Hühnchen) und tolles Gyoza, vegetarisch oder mit Hühnchen oder Schwein möglich. Alles schmeckt frisch und auch das Sushi ist üppig und super lecker. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne her.

Wir waren bei Tomo Sushi in Hannover und waren rundum begeistert. Das Sushi war sehr frisch, hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich wirklich ausgezeichnet. Die Auswahl ist groß und die Qualität der Zutaten hat uns überzeugt. Besonders angenehm war auch, dass wir unser Essen in einem klimatisierten Restaurant genießen konnten – gerade an heißen Tagen ein großer Pluspunkt. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, die Atmosphäre entspannt und einladend. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können Tomo Sushi uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! 🍣😊

Absolute 10/10 – wir sind von A bis Z begeistert! Schon beim Betreten wurden wir unglaublich freundlich empfangen. Der Service war die ganze Zeit über aufmerksam, herzlich und dabei überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Als kleine Überraschung gab es vorab eine super leckere Vorspeise aufs Haus, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Das Sushi selbst war dann einfach nur fantastisch: unfassbar frisch, authentisch, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich wirklich auf höchstem Niveau. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die Aufmerksamkeit des Teams. Alles ging super schnell, die Bedienung war jederzeit freundlich und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Nach dem Essen bekamen wir sogar noch frische Wassermelone und ein Eis am Stiel geschenkt – mit dem lieben Kommentar, dass es draußen so heiß sei. Ehrlich: Aufmerksamer, herzlicher und niedlicher kann man mit seinen Gästen kaum umgehen. Man fühlt sich hier nicht einfach wie ein Kunde, sondern wirklich willkommen. So einen Service erlebt man heutzutage nur noch selten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Abend!

Unglaublich süßer Laden mit noch lieberen Inhabern. Ich habe mich selten so willkommen gefühlt. Essen ist auch toll und authentisch. Wir haben auch einige Grüße aus der Küche bekommen und kommen gerne wieder!

Jedes Mal richtig leckeres Essen, auf das ich mich die ganze Woche über freue! Die Inhaber sind freundlich und wir verbringen dort immer wieder tolle Abende. Man sollte aber unbedingt reservieren.

Wir sind viel zu oft da und rollen jedes mal absolut satt wieder nach Hause. Immer einen Tisch reservieren, sonst läuft man Gefahr, hungrig wieder zu gehen.

Wir sind spontan auf Tomo Sushi gestoßen und waren super zufrieden. Die Bedienung des Ladens war super nett und herzlich. Die Stimmung war familiär. Obwohl die beiden nur zu zweit waren, war der Service top. Sehr leckeres Sushi und wir haben aufs Haus noch eine Nebenspeise und ein Eis bekommen. Wir sind sehr Happy und würden wieder kommen wenn wir in Hannover sein sollten.

Das ist ein fantastisches Restaurant. Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort bin, bekomme ich vom Besitzer viele kostenlose Beilagen und Desserts. Ich kann den Shakedon wärmstens empfehlen; der Lachs ist unglaublich frisch!

Schreibe sonst nie eine Bewertung aber dieses essen ist es absolut wert eine zu schreiben. War mit meiner Freundin zu zweit hier essen, das beste sushi was ich je gegessen habe in einem sehr schönen und traditionell japanischen Ambiente mit einem sehr sehr netten Inhaber Ehepaar.

Wir hatten am 30.12.25 anlässlich des Geburtstages meiner Frau einen ganz phantastischen Abend bei Tomo Sushi. Es fing schon mit der sehr sympathischen Kommunikation per whatsApp bei der Reservierung an. Ein zunächst vergebener Tisch wurde kurzfristig von einem anderen Gast storniert. Ohne lange zu zögern meldete sich die Cheffin nach zunächst erfolgter Absage bei uns erneut, sodass wir trotz unserer recht kurzfristigen Reservierung doch noch einen Tisch bekommen konnten. Als Vorspeise nahmen wir eine Portion Ebi Tempura, welche äußerst schmackhaft war. Auf Kosten des Hauses gab es noch einen weiteren Vorspeisenteller mit kleinen Teigtaschen und Minifrühlingsrollen sowie 2 Gläser Sekt zum Anstoßen auf den Geburtstag gratis dazu. Wow, haben wir uns gedacht, welch eine Gastfreundlichkeit! Als Hauptgang gab es ein Schiffchen mit gemischten Sushis für meine Frau und mich sowie ein separates Schiffchen für unsere 6-jährige Tochter (sie liebt Sushi, und das Essen mit Stäbchen wird auch immer besser :-)) Der verwendete Fisch (Lachs, Garnelen und Thunfisch) war von herausragender Qualität, das Sushi insgesamt absolut Premium. Der dazu bestellte Weißwein (ein Soave) passte perfekt. Als Nachtisch gab es dann nochmals aufs Haus frisches Obst (Orangen und Honigmelone) - stark! Uns hat diese Gastfreundschaft schier umgehauen. Unsere Begeisterung über dieses tolle Restaurant hier zu teilen, ist das Mindeste, was wir tuen können. Und wir kommen natürlich sehr gerne wieder 🙂 Ein herzliches Dankeschön an dieser Stelle nochmals an unsere lieben Gastgeber Young Hee Yi & Tomohiko und bis zum nächsten Mal 🫶🏻❤️

I am a big sushi fan, as traveling i am akways looking for something special. And with Tomo Sushi i found it. As i was welcomed, i quickly was informed that unfortunatly only cash was accepted. As i realy wanted to try Tomo, i went back to the trainstation and bsck to Tomo. They were so amazed that i took the news at it is, got cash and came back, they gave me a full apatizer dish for free, not just some rolls! The realy good sashimi. And after, a free dessert. The overall Sushi was excellent and the portion size perfect. Can't wait to come back and have more. The price is OK for the quality.

A small, cozy shop in Hanover. We were warmly welcomed and served by the owners. The sushi was fantastic! As a complimentary amuse-bouche, we received mackerel. Delicious! 😉 We then ordered two different sushi dishes and will definitely be back. Highly recommended. For dessert, we were also treated to a complimentary amuse-bouche: melon ice cream. Neither of us had tried it before. It was also very tasty. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! 🙏

They always serve me kindly and I can enjoy delicious Japanese food to my heart's content. I always stop by here when I'm in the area on a business trip.

A regular recommended this restaurant to me, and I can only endorse the recommendation. The quality is very good and the food delicious! The sushi isn't comparable to the cheaper options. The sushi and other dishes are freshly prepared and very attractively presented. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Such good sushi is very rare in Germany; I will gladly return to enjoy fresh food at Tomo Sushi.

This is a traditional Japanese restaurant that has been in the same location for over 20 years. Many Germans visit, and the atmosphere is cozy and nice~ The salmon melts in your mouth, and the warm udon stimulates your appetite~ 🍣 The sushi is also really delicious and fresh~ I can't believe there's such a delicious sushi restaurant in Germany~^^ The two owners are also so kind and nice~^^!!

I've been here with both small and large groups, and I'm absolutely thrilled every time. The food is truly wonderful, and the owners are super nice and take great care of you :) The sushi is served on boats, and the appetizers are also generously portioned. It's important to make a reservation, especially the larger the group. You may be asked to place your orders in advance to ensure there are enough ingredients and the sushi is prepared if needed. That's what we had last time; despite nine people, all the food arrived very, very quickly. The karaage was crispy and fresh, everything was very good. We were completely satisfied and full :) Thank you for such wonderful experiences!

The miso soup was very tasty. However, the sushi didn't seem to be freshly prepared when we ordered it, but rather pre-prepared and served chilled, which somewhat diminished the flavor. Unfortunately, the sauce for the chicken donburi was a bit too rich, so that the bottom of the bowl, along with the rice, had a rather soup-like consistency. The gyoza, on the other hand, were exceptionally delicious. The extremely friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention. We probably wouldn't choose to visit again, though.

Amazing experience but you need to reserve in advance

We ordered chef’s set of 10 nigiri, however the nigiri themselves were extremely small. The fish itself is okay, but not wow. All in all, as for me it is overpriced

Wow, the sushi is sushi, but the udon is so delicious. It was a very, very thankful meal with the service. In particular, the scallop sushi was so fresh, and the overall cooking was so good that I ate it so deliciously. The Kikoman soy sauce that I personally use is different from the one I used to eat, so it has a high salt content and the raw fish flavor is not as strong, but other than that, I think it's the best in the Hanover area!!

It was our first time eating sushi here. You can tell straight away that this is a family business. The menus are a bit confusing and the fact that you have to write down your order yourself on a pad of paper provided is a bit special. The sushi is freshly prepared and is solid. The food could certainly be presented a little more interestingly to the eye and the portions are very clear. The price-performance ratio is so semi. If you're really hungry, it can get really expensive here. The range of drinks is clear, but that's not what sushi restaurants are usually known for. At the entrance door you will be informed that only cash payment is possible. A rogue who thinks evil... As a small thank you, you don't get any schnapps here, but rather a small plate of fruit with your bill. That's a nice idea.

Very delicious and freshly made sushi. You can see the chef prepare the dishes and have a look at the fish and ingredients. The sushi has lots of tasty fish and many options are offered. It's best to reserve in advance to get a table in the later hours. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and gives lots of japanese vibes.

We've been coming here for years. It's so great, the cuisine is very authentic. The hosts were very welcoming and the food was delicious. The Ebi Tempura is the best... It's a small, fine shop. Only cash payment is possible.

We were thrilled! All the dishes we ordered tasted excellent. Toko Yaki, Maguro Tataki, Yakitori, Gyoza and Sushi. Everything in the best quality, in a cozy atmosphere. We felt like we had been transported straight to Japan. The owner couple was extremely attentive and really quick. Very good quality and very tasty! The sushi is not comparable to the cheap offers and is worth every cent! The service is very friendly and warm. Currently only cash payment is possible. The detour to the ATM was more than worth it.

It's the best sushi I've had in Germany. The fish are so fresh~ The service is very good and friendly. Udon is also really delicious. The super chewy noodles and warm soup are the best! The spinach that comes with the set is so delicious~ I want to eat it again~ All the menu items I tried were the best!!

Gosh, a real Japanese experience in Hannover. The place is small, but the freshness and preparation of the products make you think you are on some random street in some medium-sized city in Japan. I recommend the Miso soup anyway. In a country where many may complain of not feeling "the true spirit" of other countries' food, this restaurant is a rarity of its kind.

Update: We were there again and are totally thrilled again! Will be our regular drink! So sweet and friendly ♡ great food at great prices ♡♡♡ 4 stars and definitely recommended

Tomo Sushi is by far the best sushi experience in Hanover. We have been regular customers since day one. The sashimi is super fresh, the people are very attentive and friendly and the menu is very authentic. We are very happy that there is something so great in Hanover and we like to come regularly from Langenhagen to spend a nice evening there <3 We can also highly recommend the warm sake :)

Priced at the top end but also very tasty.

The udon noodles were superb, everything else as well (gyoza, yakitori, sushi, tea). The interior is interestingly decorated and there is an aquarium with small fish. Immaculate service, the lady serving us (and cooking the food!) was fast as lightning. As the rest of the reviews say - cash only, go to the ATM because it will be worth it.

This restaurant was recommended to me while I was looking for Asian food during my trip to Hanover! It's run by a Korean couple, so you can order in Korean, and there are tables outside the store, so you can eat outside! It was very delicious and the owner was very friendly☺️

This is the best sushi restaurant in Hannover. The owner is very kind and full of energy. I went with a German guest and he really liked it. This place is recognized as a truly delicious restaurant that caters to the tastes of both Germans and Koreans. It's usually very crowded so you may have to wait, so be prepared to go. The price is a bit expensive, but I was very satisfied with the taste and service.
