Tommy’s in Weilburg

Thommys hat einen schönen Außenbereich, in dem besonders im Sommer einiges los ist. Das Personal war trotz des Trubels sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Salat, Bowl, Burger und Wings waren frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Die Portionsgrößen sind angenehm bemessen. Ein Ort für entspannten Genuss in lockerer Atmosphäre.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Lecker Essen und gute Preise. Wir sind hier spontan eingekehrt und haben das Mittags-Special (Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat) gegessen.

Ein toller Ort für einen Sonntagsbrunch.

Heute Mittag auf dem Feiertagsausflug zufällig hier gegessen. Sehr, sehr gut und vielfältig. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Serviceleistung = mangelhaft Nach einem langen Arbeitstag hatte ich mich mit meinen Kollegen beim Tommy's getroffen. Also ich ankam, bemerkte ich schon, dass sehr viel los war. Als ich meine Kollegen gefunden hatte und mein erstes Getränk bestellt hatte, kam dieses auch zeitnah. Kurz darauf erschien eine weitere Kollegin und wurde nicht beachtet. Erst auf die direkte Ansprache durch eine andere Kollegin, nahm die Servicekraft ihren Getränkewunsch auf. Wir bestellten daraufhin das Abendessen und ich dachte mir, dass ich mit einem Schnitzel mit Kroketten ein simples Gericht bestelle. Als das Essen nach und nach meinen Kollegen gebracht wurde, wartete ich vergeblich. Hierbei ist auch zu erwähnen, dass das Besteck von allen vergessen wurde. Nachdem alle Kollegen ihr Abendessen verzehrt hatten, wurde nach meinem Gericht gefragt. Hierbei erhielt ich die Antwort, dass dieses wohl "untergegangen" sei. Ich erklärte daraufhin, dass ich aufgrund der Umstände auf das Gericht verzichte. Kurz darauf erschien die Servicekraft erneut und schilderte, dass das fehlende Gericht nun doch zubereitet wird. Nach ca. 10 Minuten wurde das Gericht nachgereicht. Da meine Kollegen bereits alle mit ihrem Essen fertig waren, bat ich die Servicekraft, mein Essen einzupacken. Kurz darauf erhielt eine handelsübliche Verpackung, in welcher das Gericht lieblos hineingeworfen wurde. Ich persönlich kann nachvollziehen, dass bei hohem Kundenaufkommen nicht alles glatt läuft, jedoch kann man bei einem so gut bewerteten Restaurant erwarten, dass man als Kunde nicht komplett vergessen wird. Für mich persönlich war es der letzte Besuch in der Lokalität und ich werde das Restaurant auch keinem weiterempfehlen.

Essen war in Ordnung, Servicekräfte waren freundlich.

Lecker Kaffee und Kuchen. (u. a.)

Waren das erste Mal da. Haben bei schönen Wetter Anfang April am Ostermontag hier gegessen und getrunken, am Denkmal draußen. Bedienung war sehr nett und schnell. Es war gut besucht. Ich habe mich sehr über die vegane Auswahl gefreut! Sowohl beim Frühstück als auch in allen anderen Kategorien war alles dabei; sogar ein Veganer Burger!!! Preise waren nicht teuer. Hier kann man wirklich zulangen und es sich gut gehen lassen! Non alkoholische Cocktails für €5 absolut gut. Kleiner Abstrich: bei meinem Teller waren Majo und Süß saure Soße in einem Gefäß gemischt. Naja. Aber das war auch schon alles was es zu bemängeln gab. Bis hoffentlich bald wieder!

Außerordentlich freundliches Personal. Vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen & Getränken. Veganer & Vegetarier werden ebenfalls fündig und berücksichtigt. Gerne wieder. 🔅

Bin ab zu auf Geschäftsreise in Weilburg. Das Tommy´s ist eine fantastische Kneipe für ein paar Drinks an der Bar, super sympathischer Service, cooler Interieur Mix aus stylish-surfig-rustikal. Komme immer wieder gerne, wenn ich in Weilburg bin.

Gutes Essen und sehr guter Service

Wir waren bereits des öfteren im Tommys. Wer hier seine Mittagspause verbringen möchte, muss sehr viel Zeit und Geduld mitbringen. Bis wir endlich bestellen konnten, waren bereits fast 20 Minuten vergangen. Bis dann das Essen serviert wurde, hat es 1 1/2 Stunden gedauert. Das wir nicht vorzeitig gegangen sind lag nur daran, dass wir unsere Kinder dabei hatten und sie sich sehr darauf gefreut haben. Das Essen und das Ambiente waren gut, trotzdem ist es für uns keine Option mehr. Die heutige Wartezeit war leider keine Ausnahme, deshalb werden wir nicht mehr hingehen.

Das ansprechende Lokal in einem historischen Gebäude thront hoch über der Lahn. Der Blick von drinnen und vom Außenbereich ist fantastisch. Die Menschen im Service sind nett, das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Für mich ist das Tommys schon seit Jahren DAS Lokal in Weilburg. Das Publikum ist bunt gemischt - von den Schülern des örtlichen Gymnasiums bis zu den Mitarbeitern der Verwaltung sind alle fort anzutreffen. Im Sommer ist das Lokal auch für Biker eine empfehlenswerte Adresse.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal zum Frühstücksbuffet dort. Gegen die Auswahl kann jedes Hotelfrühstück einpacken. Verschiedene Sorten Brot/Brötchen, Wurst/Käse, Ei in allen Varianten, Würstchen, Bacon, Mett, Weißwurst mit süßem Senf, Gemüsesticks, verschiedene Frischkäsedips (zB Dattel oder getrocknete Tomate), gefüllte Wraps zB mit Lachs, Croissants, Gebäck, Joghurts, frisches Obst (frische Ananas, Melone, Kaki etc) und unser Highlight frischer Kaiserschmarren mit Apfelmus! Auch der Service (Grüße gehen raus an unsere große blonde Bedienung) war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Teller wurden direkt beim nächsten Gang ans Buffet abgeräumt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Das Buffet ist definitiv auch was für gesundheitsbewusste Frühstücker! Tipp: Reservieren im Vorfeld ist sicherlich besser, wir konnten heute aber zum Glück auch ohne noch einen Platz bekommen :)

Ein wunderschönes Lokal im authentischen Stil. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich. Die Suppe ist eine riesige Portion! Die Hauptgerichte sind ebenfalls großzügig portioniert. Der Strudel ist köstlich. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ich war noch nie in diesem Lokal , war positiv überrascht. Ein richtiges Original, rustikal aber sehr gemütlich eingerichte. Das Essen ist gut und auch das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt.

On December 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM, I visited this restaurant. The food was good and tasted perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the entire visit was negatively impacted by the behavior of a blonde woman serving. She was very disrespectful and rude, and such behavior is simply unacceptable in the restaurant industry. Friendly and professional service should be a given – which, sadly, was not the case here.

I work in Weilburg and I really enjoy going to this restaurant during my lunch break for a hot chocolate or a light meal. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is also very good.

We went to Tommy's today for Gerrit's 34th birthday after a long time. And as expected, the service was excellent. Lia, Louisa, Nele, Sascha, and Lilli were not only attentive but also fun, relaxed, yet professional waitresses. Maintaining such high standards and speed with a party of 12 is anything but easy. We spoke with other customers about it and only received positive feedback. I can wholeheartedly recommend the service here and hope that the staff are paid fairly for their work. No matter the amount, a little more would be justified. Very few people put in that much effort.

Had to leave a review about Tommy’s in Weilburg! The vibe is great, service was solid, and the food was AMAZING! We got two different schnitzel meals, which were great. The real showstopper, though, was the creamy pumpkin soup with a touch of bacon - honestly the best I’ve ever had! Check this place out. We were recommended here by a local fellow in a gas station. Absolutely fantastic in every way. Gorgeous location. Staff was friendly and helpful to us with our limited German. We asked a local fellow where to eat and he said, without hesitation, Tommy’s. And it did not disappoint. We each had a schnitzel and they were excellent. The real star, though, was the Pumpkin Cream Soup. Best pumpkin soup of my life. 10/10 - Highly recommend!

A very pleasant atmosphere right in the heart of Weilburg. The service was exceptionally friendly and the decor is very unique. Lots of vintage sports memorabilia. We were out riding our motorcycles today and just happened to stumble upon this place.

We ate here today with a large group. All orders were spot on, special requests and drinks were filled and refilled to our complete satisfaction! A definite recommendation, and many thanks to the kitchen team and the great service!!🤗☀️👍

The food was incredibly delicious, the service was really friendly, but practically unapproachable. It would be nice if you had the option to reorder something even if your glasses were empty. Even if your plates were empty, you could ask if you wanted anything else. It's a bit of a shame.

At first, everything was available inside, and when we said there were eleven of us, we couldn't stay. No real reason was given. Very unfriendly.

We really enjoyed going there often during our one week of vacation, even just for a drink. The food is delicious, and the service is always friendly, even though they have to keep running.

Went here for coffee! It was already 5:00 p.m. and not that busy anymore, yet the waitress walked past our table several times without acknowledging us. Other guests who arrived much later than us had already been served. After 20 minutes, we got up and left. To top it all off, the waitress quickly approached us and asked, "If we wanted to pay?" 😳 We explained the situation to her with laughter! I know it's hard to get staff back, especially in the restaurant industry, and getting people who are actually willing to work is almost absurd. Nevertheless, we will avoid Jimmy's for the time being. Perhaps the owner should have a serious talk with his staff.

I've been to Tommy's several times now, and I've always enjoyed it. From the friendly and attentive service to the delicious food. There's also something for vegans.

Great location, cozy atmosphere, and good food. The service could be improved, as the wait is quite long. Hence, a half-star deduction. Another half-star deduction because they don't offer any lactose-free coffee drinks.

A good restaurant, often visited by bikers and cyclists. The e-bike charging station is new.

Good restaurant with outdoor seating. Recommended as a stopover for a motorcycle tour. Motorcycle parking is available right in front of the restaurant. Man's best friend is welcome both inside and out 👍 🐕

We dropped in spontaneously without a reservation and still managed to get a nice seat in the back. It was busy for a Monday. The service was super friendly and very attentive. We had one each of the potato pan and the farmer's pan. Our special request for fried potatoes without bacon was easily accommodated. Both dishes were delicious. There was nothing to complain about during our visit. If we ever come to Weilburg again, we'll be happy to come back!

I would like to kindly share some feedback regarding my recent visit. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed, and despite calling for a waiter a couple of times, we were repeatedly told that someone would take our order—but no one ever came. When we tried to get their attention again, we were simply ignored. Please consider hiring more staff and improving your service management, especially during the busy season. Situations like this not only frustrate customers but also cause you to lose business. Thank you for your attention, and I hope to see improvements in the future.

First I was seated at an unrecognizable reserved table, then apparently the owner came over and, with an unfriendly hand gesture, demanded that I get up. I only found out later. Otherwise I would have gone somewhere else straight away, after all I am a guest. Then I sat down. The pancakes were warmed up and hard around the edges, so fresh is something else for 13 euros. The espresso with ice was far too sweet. The guests next to me were ignored or overlooked and left after a long wait. So it was the first and last time I visit this place. The other staff, however, were very friendly.

The food is absolutely fine for what it's supposed to be (fast food). Huge portions, and the salad is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is like a sports bar, with loud music and a lot of people, especially in the evenings. Reservations are a good idea at this time of day.

My daughter invited me to dinner there for my 50th birthday and it was really great.

We went on vacation to Weilburg during the Easter holidays. Unfortunately, everyone there seems to be closed on Tuesdays (absolutely unfriendly for tourists) Tommy's was therefore a bright spot!!!!! The portions are very large, the food is delicious, there is something for children and a very friendly lady works in service. Here they still know how to win over guests. Thanks from Bielefeld

We arrived and sat down and wanted to order. We told a waitress that we would like to order, she replied "I'll be right there, you'll have to wait" and went to another table and talked to the people there about birthdays and their private lives. Meanwhile she continues to ignore us, her colleague then took our order. 15 minutes later she came up to us and wanted to take our order, whereupon we explained to her that her colleague had taken the order, we also mentioned that she had ignored us. Then she said recklessly, “I don’t care.” With such a reckless statement you can't recommend this place.

Yes, you can sit very comfortably inside or outside.

As a moped driver, Weilburg is worth a trip. But also Tommy's. Great location above the Lahn. Nice service. 👌

Finger food for advanced users.

Spacious, rustically furnished rooms, very bright, and with a separate smoking area. Service was very attentive, although in my subjective opinion a little too fast. The food portions were large. I was full. It was delicious, too. There's also a vegan option on the menu. The fries were incredibly well salted; I've rarely had such good fries. You can tell the best thing about the fries is the salt, not the tomato ketchup. The beer was excellent. I'll be back. Highly recommended.

Inside it is a lovely ambiance, but we had lunch outside because of the lovely sunshine. I enjoyed chiabatta bread with lettuce, while my love had the Club Sandwich with fries. Tomorrow we will come back for lunch and then I want the sandwich!

On the first one-day motorcycle tour this year, we took a lunch break at "Tommy's Sports Bar and Café" in Weilburg. The weather was sunny and we stayed in the spacious outdoor area, which has a very nice view of the Lahn Valley. I had the "farmer's pan with crispy fried potatoes, with ham, fried eggs and salad". For €13.20 it was a very decent and extremely tasty portion. The salad in particular was fabulous, fresh and with a great dressing. The fried potatoes with the small cubes of ham and onions were hearty and the fried eggs were just right. For this price you can't go wrong. The service was quick and attentive. Considering that the outdoor area is quite large and she has to travel long distances for each individual order, that didn't hurt her friendliness and approachability. I was only in the restaurant itself briefly to pay. My impression was that it was a really quaint shop and I really like the concept. There is a breakfast buffet on Sundays and apparently there is live music every now and then.

The food is very tasty and the price is borderline too expensive. The ambience is really good and when the weather is nice you can enjoy the sun outside and the view is fascinating. The service seemed very stressed.

Even before we moved near Weilburg, we got to know and love Thommy's. A location for young and old. Competent and friendly staff as well as delicious food and drinks are the guarantee for the feel-good effect.

Tommys is one of the hotspots in Weilburg. With a mix of bar and restaurant, it has something for everyone. We were there for dinner. The food is delicious and the portions are good. If there isn't a lot going on, the service is also quick. As soon as the place fills up, however, you quickly realize that it is better to order two rounds from the service, as it can take a while until you get it back to the table. Tommy's is usually busy, which is why it is advisable to reserve in advance, especially on weekends. Sanitary facilities are available in the basement. These are a bit in disrepair, but clean.

Since I live nearby, I go there quite regularly. There is always delicious food and very tasty cocktails there. The service staff are always friendly and are always available for a little verbal, fun exchange. Reservations are recommended on weekend evenings.

Service very very slow. Almost all tables were full of dishes and glasses even though there were 3 people behind the counter. But drinks and dishes are very good.

Always delicious food, plus fresh cocktails and special tea variations. Always beautiful, whether indoors or outdoors. Unfortunately it's just getting more and more expensive. That's understandable, but here it's regular and TOO much. Edit: And that was before Ukraine and Corona. Of course it didn't get any better. Unfortunately the menu has now become smaller (no more goulash soup, no more stuffed mushrooms...)

I went to breakfast with my girls. The atmosphere is great. The breakfast was very good, but the service was terrible. Very warm and fun for everyone. We'd love to come back.

I've been coming here to eat here twice a week for 2 months now. Whatever I have eaten so far has been very, very tasty. The service is always very friendly. I can recommend it 100%.

The waiters are not friendly. We ordered pancakes and coffee. The coffee was brought and the pancakes were served half an hour later. The coffee has already cooled down. The food was also cold. In some places the pancakes are stale. They didn't give me a knife or napkins. My friend ordered a salad. Forks and knives were not brought. I had to ask. The waiter yelled at us for asking for forks. The impression is terrible!
