Absolutely fantastic restaurant, with very impressive, almost acrobatic live cooking at the table.

The Kobe meat is simply sensational.

The preparation of the food is unique, at least in Berlin! It tasted excellent, 5 stars for that. The waiters were friendly but not very obliging, and the decor is a bit out of the 1980s! Nevertheless, I would like to come back sometime.

Totally recommended Japanese restaurant. A spectacular experience from start to finish. I ordered the seafood menu, while others at the table chose the Kobe beef menu, and everything was simply extraordinary. Watching the chef cook before us was a true spectacle, every gesture, every detail, reflected a deep respect for the culinary art and for us as diners. A unique experience that I would repeat without hesitation.

We had the menu for 2 people and were more than full. The food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. The chef was great and kept us entertained during his barbecue activities. We will definitely come back

A fantastic evening with a teppanyaki grill! The food was of the highest quality, tasted an absolute delight and was beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, friendly and always present without being intrusive. The ambience was also convincing – stylish, cozy and a perfect match for the culinary experience. Full marks in all categories – we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is quite inconspicuous from the outside, but not so much from the inside. The service is very friendly and responds immediately to the guest's wishes. Dressed appropriately to match the ambience. First with a fresh towel for your hands and very attentive. The dishes were freshly prepared and fried at the table with a little show. Great thing, in my opinion. 👍🏼 The food was extremely tasty and reasonably priced. Both the kangaroo fillet and the beef steak with half a lobster were excellent. The restaurant is definitely a recommendation, whether for two or a group.

Teppanyaki AT IT'S BEST!!! Hier kann man wirklich einmal Abstand gewinnen von der ganzen Politik da draußen. Dieses Restaurant bietet unter höchsten Auflagen der Hygiene fantastisches Essen aus frischen Zutaten, fangfrischem Fisch und dem besten was das asiatische Gemüse hergibt. Das Ambiente ist schön japanisch, was mir persönlich viel besser gefällt als diese extrem Ziel dekorierten chinesischen Restaurants. Muss man aber wirklich mal gemacht haben... Ist absolut empfehlenswert. Ein wirklich traditionelles, Familiengeführtes Restaurant, dass auf Qualität und auf beste Zutaten achtet.

A bit expensive, but really good food and we got a bit of a show when the chef prepared our food. If you don't mind paying 40€ and more, it's really good. If you don't like fish, it can smell quite a bit of fish. I'm not sure if there is a vegetarian option.

It was more of a show than a culinary explosion. There was really no highlight in terms of taste, the meat was sometimes cooked through instead of medium rare as desired because it was on the grill for ages until the cooking demonstration was finished. Not a single vegan option on the menu. I don't think that's contemporary.

The food is very tasty and the preparation at the table naturally conveys flair and is an exciting experience. You should definitely bring your time. You should plan 3 hours for one of the menus, but it's worth it.

I had dinner there with 6 people on my birthday and it was really nice to be there again after a long time. The delicious food alone is worth the price and you will definitely be full and the different menus are very well selected and perfectly put together, meaning there is 100% something for everyone. The whole team at Tokio Haus is very nice and also extremely welcoming to the guests

Very nice atmosphere with only a few tables. Great show preparing the food at the table. There were six of us with the family (three generations). Everyone was excited.

You can do it once, but probably only once for the show. Food is delicious, but far, far too little for the price. You definitely won't get full here, it's more of an appetizer for around 120 euros for 2 people. Rice is also stingy (for Asians!), 2 eggs are used for what feels like 1 kilo of cooked rice, so the mini bowl of rice you get is correspondingly unspectacular. At the end you have to wait an hour for “flambéed ice cream”. It was just Plombir ice cream (known from the Russians) that is briefly placed on the stove. If you don't care about money, you're in good hands here!

A little like what you've probably seen in a variety of videos - the Teppan Yaki! A really cozy restaurant - a bit old but still nice - if you don't have to go to the toilet every now and then. An unpleasant smell wafts towards you on the stairs into the basement. Unfortunately, the location also seems to be used by “non-guests”. In any case, some people came straight down from the street and back again. There is an urgent need for action here! The food and its preparation were good to very good, after all you go there for the eye - I can get steak and seafood elsewhere and cheaper. I had a menu for 49.- with a drink, which was enough to fill me up, and nothing more was possible. For that money you could have fed 2 people somewhere else, but that's not the point here. The staff were all Japanese with knowledge of German, except - and that was the laugh of the evening - the Tellerfee! I would guess that a sturdy woman from the Balkans tried to provide a supply of clean dishes. In just over an hour you're done before a significant amount is withdrawn from your card. However, it's still quite an amount to bear, after all the chef comes to you and puts on a robust show, and you see the food in its raw state. I thought it was a great thing for a birthday, and so did my colleagues. I would have liked to give 5 stars for the ambience, but I was at the Daitokai/Europa Center years ago. They would have received 5 stars with +, but unfortunately they are no longer available. Because of the toilets there are only 4 stars.

Really good tepanyaki with great show cooking

Ate here with four people. Due to miscommunication we waited an hour before we could sit at the table. All four ordered a menu. We got sushi first. Which was only two pieces. Then a cook came and stood at the plate. This chef made all the starters on the menu in one go. So the people with a meat menu immediately had 3 types of meat on their plate and the person with fish on the menu had two types of fish on the plate. After that was finished, another chef came to prepare the main course. This chef did a very nice job and I have nothing to complain about. Then the plates were cleared away. And someone came to ask what we wanted for dessert. We could choose between ice cream (flambéed) or fruit. Three people chose flambé and one chose fruit. The cook who came to flambé played fun with the flames. But the ice cream was a block on a ready-made crepe. This was not warm and was placed with the block of ice on the plate with wax berries on top. Finally the bill came and we had to pay €30 extra for the flambéed dessert. The owner gave us the card which indeed stated that we had to pay extra for flambéing. We did not read this and the gentleman who came to ask us what we wanted did not say this either. When we pointed this out, people lied that he had said this and could not talk about it. We have paid the bill but are dissatisfied with the way this was handled. And they think the surcharge for a flambéed dessert is far too expensive. So here's a warning not to fall for that

Great show, great food, great ambience

The reception was very friendly. The timing was perfect despite different menus. We were always able to enjoy all courses together. The chef has incorporated a lot of showmanship into the preparation at the table. So there was always a new piece of art per course. The ingredients were all fresh and cooked to perfection. We would love to come back.

Good: - food was very tasty - Koch put on a great show and was very friendly Bad: - Drink server always forgot the sprite - Billing was not understandable. What was ordered wasn't written on the bong. People wanted to make us believe that everything had the same price. Maybe I was cheated. I can't say because there are no prices online either. Conclusion: The cooking is better than other tenpanyaki restaurants in Berlin that I know. But the thing with the wrong receipt means I won't go there anymore.

Rice always costs extra, even if it is written differently on the menu. The portion sizes are a joke. It says it's 200g of beef. I received 2 small pieces. If it comes up that's 100g.

As a result, the staff members were initially very unsure whether they would be able to do the job. However, after overcoming our fears, things went really well, and the waitress and the Teppanyaki master in charge masterfully overcame the challenge. Afterwards, each of us was moved by our visit to Tokyo House and we are sure that this will not be the last time. Thank you to all the staff at Tokyo House for an unforgettable night!

We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday. The quality of the products used was above average. Everything was fresh, crunchy and put together by the chef from Sapporo. The food and experience was worth the money. The boss from Tokyo and the waitress were very accommodating. We recommend.

Ich kann die ganzen negativen Bewertungen garnicht nachvollziehen. Meine Familie und ich waren sehr begeistert vom Abend. Von außen wirkt das Restaurant erstmal unscheinbar aber im inneren verbirgt sich wirklich ein süßes japanisches Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Die Kellner waren nett und freundlich und in traditionellen Outfits unterwegs. Das Essen kam schnell und hat super geschmeckt! Ja der Preis ist nicht ohne aber man wird definitiv satt und bekommt dazu noch eine tolle Show vom eigenen Chef! Kleiner Tipp: wer im Sommer geht hat auch nicht diese massenabfertigung von der hier und da einige Leute geredet haben. Im Winter ist bei denen viel los. Wir waren im Juni da und mit Reservierung ist alles super entspannt und wir waren ganze 3 1/2 Stunden da.

Yes, it's getting a little old. Although a child at the time but clean and with an indoor fish pond. That's quite remarkable. The food from the grill is delicious and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the starter (sushi and miso soup) and dessert (mixed fruits) are disappointing. I've found much better. That is also the reason for the point deduction. But the price-performance ratio is completely appropriate. The overall picture is completely fine. Take a look, it's fun.

The food was very tasty and the preparation at the table with shows was something special. However, the dessert was disappointing; the menu included a scoop of cheap vanilla ice cream or a few pieces of fruit, and the flambéed ice cream also tasted like nothing. A very clear downer was the condition of the toilets. Apparently the sewer pipes weren't working properly, so the stairs to the toilets smelled extremely like sewage. Because the staircase is not separated from the restaurant by a door, the smell even reached our table over the course of the evening. You don't really want to experience something like that in a restaurant in this price range.

For the price the food is not acceptable. The fussing over the table grill is silly.

Really 4.9 and wanted to give 5, it's truly an excellent experience and amazingly delicious food. Perhaps I'm just too spoiled by American hibachi style because portions here were quite small, they were not super cool about bringing extra dipping sauce, and the price was really high. But I'd still go back!

The quality of the food was good, but unfortunately some of the ingredients were already lukewarm by the time everything was served. The operation needs to be improved. The atmosphere could be more comfortable.

As a group we made reservations in advance (very easy online) and ate well on site and had a great time. The chefs put on a good show and the staff was courteous. Only the portions could have been a little larger.

I have been a guest at Tokio Haus for over 20 years and am always very satisfied with the really fresh and great food. I have also invited friends there again and again over the years, everyone was thrilled, not least about the impressive preparation with great little tricks at the table. Keep it up........ If you've experienced good quality Japanese food with an accompanying teppan yaki/hibachi show, I would not recommend Tokyohaus. If you've never had teppan yaki/hibachi, I would still recommend going elsewhere. My wife and I had dinner here on a cold Saturday night which is prime time for restaurants. Upon entering Tokyohaus it was mostly empty except for a couple of teppan yaki tables with guests. The ambiance of the restaurant was fine although colder than it should be for a place with tables that emit heat as a primary function. The food was almost a complete disappointment. The only saving grace is that the ingredients seemed fresh but that's where the quality stops. Every bit of food was under seasoned and lacking flavor by all measures. Lastly, the pricing is absolutely absurd. For two non-alcoholic drinks, and two entrees, it was nearly €100 euros. One entree is about €36 euros with a quantity and quality of ingredients that you could get at Edeka/Rewe/Lidl for €10 euros. ----------- If you've experienced good Japanese food with an accompanying teppan yaki/hibachi show, I wouldn't recommend Tokyohaus. It was a nice experience where the chef prepares your food at your table. Of course with the necessary acrobatic cooking skills. They enjoy teasing children. The food was fantastic and I recommend immersing yourself in Japanese cuisine. It seems a bit pricey, but you get good food and a chef at the table.

Ich kannte das bis dato noch nicht und fand es sehr schön mit der großen Grillplatte am Tisch. Ein bissl Show ist auch mit dabei und alle geben sich viel Mühe. Der Service war super, alle sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ansicht war gut aber sehr "normal", das Sushi super lecker. Man bezahlt halt die Show, was auch total okay ist. Einzig hatte ich immer ein wenig das Gefühl, dass man ein wenig "abgefertigt" wird. Alles ging sehr schnell hintereinander. Zur Abwechslung ganz nett und sollte man mal gemacht haben ☺️

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und wurden am Tag selber in eine Art Abstellkammer im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants gesetzt um zu warten bis der nächste Tisch frei werden würde. Nach 20 Minuten sind wir gegangen und haben woanders lecker gegessen. Wirklich schade, wir hatten gutes über das Restaurant gehört.

Wunderschöne Ambiente, sehr herzliche und fröhliche Mitarbeiter, die sich wirklich viel Mühe geben und tolle Koch-Shows direkt am Tisch vorstellen. Sehr leckeres Essen und tolle Auswahl - alles dabei von kleinen Speisen bis zu großen Menüs. Ein Menü liegt ca bei 50€ p.Person - wirkt im ersten Moment etwas viel, aber es lohnt sich definitiv!

Es sollte ein Highlight werden... 1x kann man das mal erleben.. Aber ja, da ist Luft nach oben. Auch was die Kühlung der Getränke in Richtung Wc angeht.. nicht sehr einladend

Echt ein Highlight dort zu Essen. Essen hervorragend. Der Meister am Tisch war brillant. Das Essen, war super lecker, , ein super Genuss. Der Service ist dort echt erstklassig . Man fühlt sich dort sehr gut aufgehoben und kulinarisch verwöhnt. Gerne wieder, wenn ich mal wieder in Berlin bin. Danke an die kulinarische Köstlichkeit

super laden wenn man mal authentisch japanisch essen will und nicht immer nur sushi. sie bereiten das gericht frisch vor deinen augen auf diesem speziellen tisch vor und eine show gibts auch noch dazu. bin echt beeindruckt wie sie die gewürze in die luft schmeissen und jonglieren können, kann ich nur empfehlen!

Bei diesem Asiaten wird nicht nur ausgezeichnetes Essen angeboten, sondern mit dem Teppanyaki auch eine gute Show! Das Kochen und Servieren direkt am Tisch mit dem einen oder anderen Küchentrick ist alle mal einen Besuch wert! Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert.

So unglaublich schlecht. Wir waren zu zweit, an einem Samstag da gewesen. Vorab hatten wir reserviert. Der Laden war fast leer. Wir haben uns für das Tokyo Haus Tepanyaki Menü entschieden und vorab den Tokyo Haus Cocktail. Der Cocktail bestand aus Martini Bianco mit Litschisaft und fast geschmolzenen Eiswürfeln, lieblos mit einer halben Erdbeere garniert. Als Vorspeise zu unserem Menü wurde uns Sushi und Sashimi gereicht. Beim Sushi war der Reis verkocht und matschig und es hatte Kühlschranktemperatur, da es auch nach ca 5 Minunten kam, gehe ich davon aus das es fertig vorbereitet war. Das Sashimi schmeckte undefinierbar, als ob auf dem Brett vorher etwas anderes geschnitten worden wäre. Dann kam die Miso Suppe. Eigentlich war es nur heißes Wasser mit Tofu und etwas Lauch. Den Miso Geschmack konnte man bestenfalls erahnen. Dann wurde auf dem Grill der Fisch zubereitet. Dieser bestand aus Lachsfilet, Languste und Jakobsmuscheln. Dieser Koch hat es mit viel Spass und Gastfreundschaft geschafft, alles bis auf den Lachs komplett trocken und tot zu braten. Dazu gab es p. P. 1 Scheibe Zuchini und 1 Scheibe Kräuterseitling. Dann kam der Salat...Eisbergsalat mit Tomate, Gurke und Ketchup Dressing. An dem Punkt dachten wir tatsächlich wir sind bei der versteckten Kamera. Der Hauptgang bestand aus Kängeruhfleisch und Rinderfilet. Wir wurden nach dem Garpunkt gefragt und wünschten uns Medium. Er hat es komplett durch gebraten. Hinzu kam, das unsere Tischnachbarn auch Eierreis bekamen und da konnte doch tatsächlich noch gespart werden. Denn es wurde für 4 Personen Eierreis nur ein Ei genommen. Die Kellnerin kam extra nochmal zu unserem Tisch um ein Ei zu entfernen. Dazu gab es Sprossen und 2 Zuckerschoten. Keine Kräuter keine besonderen Saucen und auch keine Show. Der Koch hatte absolut keine Lust. Der Koch mit dem Fisch hat sich wenigstens noch bemüht. Als Dessert gab es dann Eis ODER Obst. Ich bekam einen übersichtlichen Teller mit geschnittenem Obst und mein Freund eine Kugel Vanilleeis lieblos in der Schale ohne Deko ohne alles. Wir hätten für eine Aufpreis das Eis auf dem Grill zubereiten lassen können. Wir sahen später bei unseren Tischnachbarn, dass sich das wirklich nicht gelohnt hätte. Das billig gekaufte Vanilleeis wurde nur im Block runtergeschnitte und kurz karamellisiert. Nett war von dem Koch dass er mit Öl ein brennendes Herz für uns zeichnete. Als wir eine Weile ohne Getränke da saßen, holten wir uns selber eine Getränkekarte und wurde tatsächlich noch von der Kellnerin böse angeguckt. So schlecht und lieblos und billig und unfreundlich. Keine Wunder das auf einen Samstag Abend der Laden fast leer war. NIE WIEDER

Ein absolutes Muss! Ich würde empfehlen, im Vorfeld zu reservieren da es oftmals voll ist. Die Getränkeauswahl ist leider nicht allzu groß, und es ist ziemlich teuer.. Aber auf jeden Fall mega lecker!!

Solide, wenn man nichts besseres kennt. Es gibt besseres Sashimi, aber insgesamt doch ziemlich lecker. Die Zutaten sind einfach zu normal. Es werden toxische, raffinierte Seed Oils zum Braten verwendet. Für ein teppan yaki absolut unerhört.

Sehr nette und höfliche Bedienung, dass das Essen am Tisch zubereitet wird und quasi vor den Augen der Gäste entsteht, ist ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Hinzu kommt die Qualität der Speisen, einfach gut und immer wieder zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war sowohl Qualität als auch Ambiente einfach nur MEGA ! Wer diese Zubereitung nicht kennt unbedingt ausprobieren!!!! Immer wieder gern !!! Erste Wahl wenn ich gut und zwanglos essen möchte

Ein super Erlebnis, sehr freundliche Bedienung und es hat alles mega lecker geschmeckt. Beim nächsten berlin besuch kommen wir wieder.

Typisch japanisch mit leichten Anpassungen an den deutschen Markt. Das Essen wird auf der Teppanyakiplatte gleich am Tisch zubereitet, sehr schön. Allerdings an heißen Tagen ganz schön warm, aber wir hatten immerhin ein Klimagerät am Platz. Es ist sinnvoll hier gleich ein Menu zu bestellen, pro Person ca 50€ zuzüglich Getränke. Mit Koberind natürlich deutlich teurer. Wir hatten Spaß, haben gut gegessen und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Reizende Menschen die einen hier bedienen. An der Qualität der Speisen gibt's nichts auszusetzen. Die Einrichtung scheint schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen hat aber durchaus seinen Charme. Danke für einen heiteren angenehmen Abend.

Wer noch nicht japanisch Essen war hat wirklich etwas verpasst. Die Zubereitung am Tisch ist sehr unterhaltsam und eindrucksvoll und die Resultate sind unglaublich lecker.

Unglaublich schockierende Erfahrung - Achtung! Verkeimtes Restaurant (ekelhaft und ärgerlich, eigentlich sollte man gleich wieder rückwärts raus) - Speisen: schlechte Qualität, grenzt an Betrug. Wir waren nur sprachlos, haben nicht einmal reklamiert - und trotzdem wurde die Servicekraft unfreundlich und belehrend ("das Lokal ist seit 20 Jahren immer voll"), weil wir von den Miniportionen nicht viel gegessen haben. Sogar die Paar Gramm Filet (für 29,- ohne Beilagen) waren ungenießbar. Eigentlich ist jedes Wort über diesen schrecklichen Ort zu viel!
