Ein echtes Erlebnis! Das Teppanyaki-Essen war sehr gut und die Zutaten super frisch. Preislich liegt das Restaurant zwar im oberen Segment, aber für die tolle Koch-Show und die frische Zubereitung direkt vor den eigenen Augen ist es jeden Cent wert. Sehr freundlicher Service und tolle Atmosphäre, absolute Empfehlung für besondere Abende!

Was für ein Juwel! Die Zubereitung der Speisen, der Service und das Ambiente waren perfekt.

Ich liebe die Show, ich würde allein wegen der Show hierherkommen, das Essen ist nur ein Bonus.

Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut. Leider war es für den Preis recht wenig. Das normale Eis zum Nachtisch wurde recht lieblos als eine Kugel Vanille präsentiert. Der Koch am Tisch hat sich große Mühe gegeben und war sehr nett, genau wie die Kellnerin aber wir wurden nicht nach weiteren Getränkewünschen gefragt. Leider waren wir die einzigen Gäste am Freitag Abend und nach 80 Minuten war das ganze Menü gegessen und auch bereits bezahlt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht gestimmt!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Besonders die Menüs sind sehr gut zusammengestellt und geschmacklich top – alles frisch und hochwertig zubereitet. Das Essen wird direkt vor einem auf der heißen Platte live zubereitet, was ein tolles Erlebnis ist. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in so einem Restaurant. Da wir nicht wussten wie das abläuft und man uns das vermutlich ansah hat uns die Dame sehr geholfen. Sowohl Service als auch der Koch der für uns eine tolle Show dabot waren einfach nur Klasse. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Zwischen Vor und Hauptspeise würde uns genug Zeit gegeben um zu entspannt zu essen. Mein Sohn, dessen Geschenk es war, war hellauf begeistert. Wir kommen aufjrdenfall wieder. Danke.

Waren im März und heute wieder da. Einfach nur lecker und der Preis bei den ausgezeichneten Produkten auch gerechtfertigt. Für Vegetarier gibt es viele Möglichkeiten und sogar ein spezielles Menü. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Kommen immer wieder gerne hierher und es wäre traurig, wenn dieses Restaurant schließen müsste. Ist das letzte Restaurant dieser Art in Berlin. Wie immer ein Erlebnis wenn der Koch alles vor deinen Augen auf der Platte zubereitet und dabei seine Tricks macht. So macht Essen Spaß und lecker ist es auch. Dieses Mal saßen wir neben der Küche, da zog es leider ganz schön kühl durch.

Der Laden hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die Showeinlagen sind ganz nett, aber sowohl das Essen als auch das Ambiente waren nichts Besonderes.

Wir hatten ein Menü für zwei Personen. Die Einrichtung wirkt inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen war in Ordnung, allerdings nicht besonders herausragend. Die Show beim Kochen war unterhaltsam und hat für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt. Auf der Rechnung wurde uns das Menü jedoch mit 15 Euro mehr berechnet als erwartet. Da wir an dem Abend gut gelaunt waren, wollten wir darüber nicht diskutieren. Für einen einmaligen Besuch ist es in Ordnung, allerdings würden wir nicht erneut kommen. In Berlin gibt es zahlreiche sehr gute Restaurants mit einem insgesamt stimmigeren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Ein in die Jahre gekommenen Tokyohaus. Der Charme älterer Tage ist garantiert. Die Bestuhlung hat Luft nach oben. Service ist auf normalen Niveau. Aus dem Land des lächeln kommt hier nur wenig an. Essen wird ja frisch auf der Platte zubereitet. Die Preise sind zu hoch im Vergleich zur Menge. Qualität ist normal und es schmeckt. Im Haus ist Routine schon lang eingekehrt. Das ist nie gut.

Well... where do we begin? We've known Tokio Haus for over 30 years. Stepping into the restaurant, you get the impression (and this is meant in the best possible way!) that time has stood still. The ambiance hasn't really changed in the last three decades; at best, the staff has. What a wonderful journey back in time! Thankfully, the first-class Japanese cuisine hasn't changed either. Thank you for decades of wonderful, high-quality food. Anyone who comes here to dine will first experience a sense of slowing down. In other words: please bring plenty of time. Because here, you don't just "guzzle" food; you celebrate it and savor it. It goes without saying that you won't find the prices of cheap delivery services (pizza, kebabs, etc.) here. In return, you get your own show cooking and top-notch food quality... it's also worth mentioning that owners of "furry friends" are welcome here. That's not always the case anymore, especially where cooking is done openly. Many thanks for this kind of hospitality. So... in conclusion: For all lovers of good taste who want to be transported back to the 80s and appreciate first-class cuisine (Kobe beef fillet is no problem either!) and who are fed up with the other Asian "all you can eat temples" with their loud and over-the-top fuss, you should book a reservation at the enchanting Tokio Haus on Brandenburgische Straße. We wanted to show our niece a Japanese restaurant with teppanyaki. The staff and chefs were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the Kobe beef menu. What I didn't like at all were the restrooms. The smell was very unpleasant, and the way to the toilet looked quite messy. Watching them clean the teppanyaki grill after the main course only reinforced this somewhat dingy impression. Overall, the cleanliness seemed borderline acceptable, so we certainly won't be going back to Tokyohaus.

Super friendly and welcoming service. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless in spite of the good performance of the Teppanyaki Chef. This was our first and last visit.

Delicious food. The meat, in particular, was very good. However, the menu is rather confusing, especially regarding the set menus. It's not clear enough that the meat selection is either one or the other, and not everything on the menu is available. This is very confusing for first-time customers. For my taste, the prices are a bit too high, but that's the case with many restaurants these days. Operating costs are simply too high for many restaurants. Vegetarians and vegans will likely find fewer options here.

🎍A piece of Japan in a big city Berlin. Charming interior with such a good chef performance while cooking in front of us. Of course, I understand the price is a bit higher than the usual when you order and eat. That's the part of Japanese culture which I really appreciate the restaurant brings to Berlin. . Thankfully, when we come, it was not crowded yet. When it was around 19:00, it started to become crowded and you'd expect a bit slower service, but the staff managed to serve the table. 👨‍🍳The chef lightened up the dinner and we sit together with other family which made the experience like we eat like at home. For a special occasion, this restaurant is super nice because price is not for regular eating out 😄

Insider tip in the heart of Berlin

It's the typical little Asian restaurant around the corner, and that's what makes it so charming. Teppanyaki was prepared in the well-known and wonderful way it's done in Asia, right in front of our children. It was a small spectacle, and the children were incredibly happy. All four of us were thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. We would definitely go back here again on our next visit to Berlin...

Really bad!!! The place is getting on in years, and so is the food. It's a shame. Unfortunately, the prices aren't as old as the place itself. If you want good food, you won't find anything there that will truly satisfy you. The atmosphere is also getting on in years and half-dead. It's a real shame. Far too expensive, and the Japanese cuisine was unrecognizable.

The service is always very friendly and good. A wet towel is provided before your meal. The food is always fresh and beautifully prepared on the teppanyaki table. The chefs put on an entertaining juggling show. In summer, it can get a bit warm in the restaurant, and with the heat from the grill, it's easy to work up a sweat.

The preparation of the food is unique, at least in Berlin! It tasted excellent, 5 stars for that. The waiters were friendly but not very obliging, and the decor is a bit out of the 1980s! Nevertheless, I would like to come back sometime.

Totally recommended Japanese restaurant. A spectacular experience from start to finish. I ordered the seafood menu, while others at the table chose the Kobe beef menu, and everything was simply extraordinary. Watching the chef cook before us was a true spectacle, every gesture, every detail, reflected a deep respect for the culinary art and for us as diners. A unique experience that I would repeat without hesitation.

The restaurant is quite inconspicuous from the outside, but not so much from the inside. The service is very friendly and responds immediately to the guest's wishes. Dressed appropriately to match the ambience. First with a fresh towel for your hands and very attentive. The dishes were freshly prepared and fried at the table with a little show. Great thing, in my opinion. 👍🏼 The food was extremely tasty and reasonably priced. Both the kangaroo fillet and the beef steak with half a lobster were excellent. The restaurant is definitely a recommendation, whether for two or a group.

Teppanyaki AT IT'S BEST!!! Hier kann man wirklich einmal Abstand gewinnen von der ganzen Politik da draußen. Dieses Restaurant bietet unter höchsten Auflagen der Hygiene fantastisches Essen aus frischen Zutaten, fangfrischem Fisch und dem besten was das asiatische Gemüse hergibt. Das Ambiente ist schön japanisch, was mir persönlich viel besser gefällt als diese extrem Ziel dekorierten chinesischen Restaurants. Muss man aber wirklich mal gemacht haben... Ist absolut empfehlenswert. Ein wirklich traditionelles, Familiengeführtes Restaurant, dass auf Qualität und auf beste Zutaten achtet.

A bit expensive, but really good food and we got a bit of a show when the chef prepared our food. If you don't mind paying 40€ and more, it's really good. If you don't like fish, it can smell quite a bit of fish. I'm not sure if there is a vegetarian option.

It was more of a show than a culinary explosion. There was really no highlight in terms of taste, the meat was sometimes cooked through instead of medium rare as desired because it was on the grill for ages until the cooking demonstration was finished. Not a single vegan option on the menu. I don't think that's contemporary.

The food is very tasty and the preparation at the table naturally conveys flair and is an exciting experience. You should definitely bring your time. You should plan 3 hours for one of the menus, but it's worth it.

I had dinner there with 6 people on my birthday and it was really nice to be there again after a long time. The delicious food alone is worth the price and you will definitely be full and the different menus are very well selected and perfectly put together, meaning there is 100% something for everyone. Very nice atmosphere with only a few tables. Great show preparing the food at the table. There were six of us with the family (three generations). Everyone was excited.

You can do it once, but probably only once for the show. Food is delicious, but far, far too little for the price. You definitely won't get full here, it's more of an appetizer for around 120 euros for 2 people. Rice is also stingy (for Asians!), 2 eggs are used for what feels like 1 kilo of cooked rice, so the mini bowl of rice you get is correspondingly unspectacular. At the end you have to wait an hour for “flambéed ice cream”. It was just Plombir ice cream (known from the Russians) that is briefly placed on the stove. If you don't care about money, you're in good hands here!

A little like what you've probably seen in a variety of videos - the Teppan Yaki! A really cozy restaurant - a bit old but still nice - if you don't have to go to the toilet every now and then. An unpleasant smell wafts towards you on the stairs into the basement. Unfortunately, the location also seems to be used by “non-guests”. In any case, some people came straight down from the street and back again. There is an urgent need for action here! The food and its preparation were good to very good, after all you go there for the eye - I can get steak and seafood elsewhere and cheaper. I had a menu for 49.- with a drink, which was enough to fill me up, and nothing more was possible. For that money you could have fed 2 people somewhere else, but that's not the point here. The staff were all Japanese with knowledge of German, except - and that was the laugh of the evening - the Tellerfee! I would guess that a sturdy woman from the Balkans tried to provide a supply of clean dishes. In just over an hour you're done before a significant amount is withdrawn from your card. However, it's still quite an amount to bear, after all the chef comes to you and puts on a robust show, and you see the food in its raw state. I thought it was a great thing for a birthday, and so did my colleagues. I would have liked to give 5 stars for the ambience, but I was at the Daitokai/Europa Center years ago. They would have received 5 stars with +, but unfortunately they are no longer available. Because of the toilets there are only 4 stars.

Really good tepanyaki with great show cooking

Ate here with four people. Due to miscommunication we waited an hour before we could sit at the table. All four ordered a menu. We got sushi first. Which was only two pieces. Then a cook came and stood at the plate. This chef made all the starters on the menu in one go. So the people with a meat menu immediately had 3 types of meat on their plate and the person with fish on the menu had two types of fish on the plate. After that was finished, another chef came to prepare the main course. This chef did a very nice job and I have nothing to complain about. Then the plates were cleared away. And someone came to ask what we wanted for dessert. We could choose between ice cream (flambéed) or fruit. Three people chose flambé and one chose fruit. The cook who came to flambé played fun with the flames. But the ice cream was a block on a ready-made crepe. This was not warm and was placed with the block of ice on the plate with wax berries on top. Finally the bill came and we had to pay €30 extra for the flambéed dessert. The owner gave us the card which indeed stated that we had to pay extra for flambéing. We did not read this and the gentleman who came to ask us what we wanted did not say this either. When we pointed this out, people lied that he had said this and could not talk about it. We have paid the bill but are dissatisfied with the way this was handled. And they think the surcharge for a flambéed dessert is far too expensive. So here's a warning not to fall for that

Great show, great food, great ambience

The reception was very friendly. The timing was perfect despite different menus. We were always able to enjoy all courses together. The chef has incorporated a lot of showmanship into the preparation at the table. So there was always a new piece of art per course. The ingredients were all fresh and cooked to perfection. We would love to come back.

What was ordered wasn't written on the bong. People wanted to make us believe that everything had the same price. Maybe I was cheated. I can't say because there are no prices online either. Conclusion: The cooking is better than other tenpanyaki restaurants in Berlin that I know. But the thing with the wrong receipt means I won't go there anymore.

Rice always costs extra, even if it is written differently on the menu. The portion sizes are a joke. It says it's 200g of beef. I received 2 small pieces. If it comes up that's 100g.

We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday. The quality of the products used was above average. Everything was fresh, crunchy and put together by the chef from Sapporo. The food and experience was worth the money. The boss from Tokyo and the waitress were very accommodating. We recommend.

Ich kann die ganzen negativen Bewertungen garnicht nachvollziehen. Meine Familie und ich waren sehr begeistert vom Abend. Von außen wirkt das Restaurant erstmal unscheinbar aber im inneren verbirgt sich wirklich ein süßes japanisches Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Die Kellner waren nett und freundlich und in traditionellen Outfits unterwegs. Das Essen kam schnell und hat super geschmeckt! Ja der Preis ist nicht ohne aber man wird definitiv satt und bekommt dazu noch eine tolle Show vom eigenen Chef! Kleiner Tipp: wer im Sommer geht hat auch nicht diese massenabfertigung von der hier und da einige Leute geredet haben. Im Winter ist bei denen viel los. Wir waren im Juni da und mit Reservierung ist alles super entspannt und wir waren ganze 3 1/2 Stunden da.

Yes, it's getting a little old. Although a child at the time but clean and with an indoor fish pond. That's quite remarkable. The food from the grill is delicious and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the starter (sushi and miso soup) and dessert (mixed fruits) are disappointing. I've found much better. That is also the reason for the point deduction.
