Tolle Karte, super freundliches Personal und die Gerichte sind wirklich gut gemacht. Das Cordon Bleu ist meine Empfehlung!

Spontan hier Abendessen gewesen, nach dem CSD ... Sehr ruhiges Restaurant. Leckeres Küche. Preis Leistungsverhältnis gut. Nett eingetichtet. Hätte zwei drei Verbesserungsvorschläge, tun aber dem leckeren essen nichts zur sache. Kann es Empfehlen.

Wir waren zu viert essen und das Essen war leider echt nicht gut. Das war leider das schlechteste Schnitzel was wir je gegessen haben. Trocken und komplett ohne Geschmack. Das macht auch der gute Service leider nicht wieder gut.

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war köstlich und der Empfang sehr herzlich.

Das Wiener Schnitzel (TK) war eine Katastrophe. Wir haben noch nie so schlecht gegessen - wirklich noch nie! Nie wieder!

Selten so schlecht gegessen. Das Schnitzel war groß aber nicht essbar. Der Veggieburger war essbar, kein Highlight und für einen kleinen Gemüsebratling mit billigem Burgerbrötchen und wenig weiteren Zutaten sowie einer Hand voll Pommes 16€ zu verlangen ist schon unverschämt.

Wir, eine Gruppe von Freunden, freuten uns auf ein gutes Essen während unseres Besuchs in Berlin. Doch das Essen war eine große Enttäuschung – vorgekocht und nicht frisch zubereitet.

Super Essen tolles Ambiente, tolles Personal

Kurzfristig am Freitag mittags entschlossen weil auf der Mittagskatte eine Currywurst mit Pommes war. Die Terrasse ist schön und sauber. Das Service war flott und freundlich. Die Getränke kalt und schnell serviert. Die Wurst hätte heißer sein dürfen. Wer hier ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Tuncke bestellt ist selbst schuld. Sowas gehört niemals nie mit Tuncke gegessen. Ich kann das Lokal empfehlen.

Ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit dem Restaurant. Es ist schmutzig und das Essen schmeckt schlecht. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

Ich war gerade da und muss sagen, ich bin sehr positiv überrascht! Die Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich, die Bedienung äußerst freundlich (hätte ich wirklich nicht erwartet) und das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut. Ich hatte Sülze mit hausgemachter Remoulade und Bratkartoffeln, mir war nicht klar, dass man dieses einfache Essen so hochwertig serviert bekommen kann. Also mein Tipp! Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt und musste deshalb direkt einmal diese Bewertung abgeben.

Der Service war sehr freundlich, aber das Essen war grauenhaft. Die Pasta Carbonara war ungenießbar! Viel zu teuer für das, was sie bot. Die Limonade für 7 € bestand nur aus Eis mit etwas sehr süßem Sirup.

Der beste Ort, um das schlechteste Schnitzel Berlins zu probieren 🗿 Wir waren nach unserem Flug total hungrig und dieser Laden war in der Nähe, aber leider war das Essen echt schlecht. Es schmeckte, als hätten sie einfach nur Tiefkühlkost aufgewärmt – und das für 17 € pro Portion 😭

Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber der Service war sehr schlecht: Wir aßen noch unsere Vorspeisen, als die Hauptgerichte schon serviert wurden.

Ich kann leider die vorherigen Rezensionen nicht verstehen. Wir waren gestern mit einer größeren Gruppe am Abend da. Das Essen war eine Katastrophe und es gab auch nicht mehr alle Essen auf der Karte. Wir waren gegen 18:00/ 18:30 vor Ort, es gab kein Eisbein, Haxe um nur einige zu nennen. Ich hatte ein XL Burger, die Paddys waren unterschiedlich groß. Die Rippchen waren auch nicht besser, waren nicht ordentlich geschmort. Nach der Kritik am Essen haben wir auch unsere bestellten Getränke nicht mehr bekommen. Einige von unserer Gruppe hatten nach einer Stunde immernoch kein Essen. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen und können es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir kamen vorbei und beschlossen, uns hinzusetzen und etwas zu essen, da uns die Atmosphäre gefiel. Der Service war durchweg freundlich, die Hintergrundmusik hervorragend, das Bier schön kalt und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir bestellten deutsche Wurst und Schweinefleisch.

Wir mögen sehr dieses Restaurant. Man hat hier angenehme Atmosphäre, gutes Essen, nettes Personal. Wir mögen sehr die Außenterrasse im Sommer. Man kann hier sehr nett sitzen und genießen.

Furchtbar! Ich vermute, viele Leute probieren diesen Laden aus, so wie wir, weil er von außen ganz okay aussieht und direkt neben der U-Bahn-Station Spittelmarkt liegt. Das Essen schmeckt unterirdisch, schlimmer als in einem schlechten Fast-Food-Restaurant – ich kann es gar nicht beschreiben. Wenn ihr in Berlin wenigstens anständig essen wollt, geht bloß nicht dorthin. Absolut grauenhaft!

We were served by a kind young man. We had the grilled chicken breast and the 'Grillteller' as the germans call it. I feel like some part of the chicken was undercooked, but im not sure. The flavor was maybe a bit bland, but not bad overall.

Below average food. The first member of staff we saw as we walked in just pointed to empty tables. No “hello” or “welcome”. He looked bored and fed up. We ordered a burger and a veal schnitzel. The burger was just about ok. The schnitzel was awful. Tough meat that tasted of salt and horrible breadcrumb coating. The whole thing looked like it had been thrown on the deep fryer by the bored boy he greeted us earlier with a point. Chips were below average too. It was all edible. But I guess my shoe is too.

I had the full experience! First, medium steak with potatoes, followed by apple strudel with ice cream and hot chocolate with whipped cream... It was heavenly! The service couldn't have been better. Always attentive, but never intrusive. But the best part: all evening, quiet and subtle, yet always clearly audible, was "rock music from my 80s" – right now I'm listening to Bowie and Queen's "Pressure," and there was also ZZ Top, AC/DC, and so much more... THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EVENING!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, and their behavior made me feel very uncomfortable. On top of that, the quality of the food was far below expectations — nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared.

Nice restaurant. Delicious food. We had schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fries, and beef roulade with potatoes and red cabbage. The schnitzel was piping hot, as were the fries. Everything tasted good. Unfortunately, the sauce had the consistency of pudding, and the flavor could have been improved. The roulade with potatoes and red cabbage was also very hot and delicious. The staff was friendly, and the drinks and food arrived very quickly. In conclusion, I would come again.

I simply have to speak up for this great place! If you're looking for the best schnitzel in Berlin, and it's also incredibly affordable, you absolutely have to come here. The schnitzel is perfect every time: crispy, juicy, and so big that it's easily filling. The value for money is truly top-notch – you'll hardly find such good quality at these prices in Berlin. But what really makes this place special is the staff. The employees are incredibly friendly and create a super relaxed and warm atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. And as a little highlight, they sometimes even offer free shots of schnapps (Frei-Shots)! This is not only generous, but also always puts you in a good mood.

Good option in Berlin Mitte, Close to Spittelmarkt U with relaxed atmosphere and good German food. Ask the weiters for suggestions. They can improve beer options.

I ordered the Berliner pork knuckle. It took time to arrive (~20 min.) I can understand. But if the inside was still a bit frozen I do not accept or understand. They took my plate to rr-heat. Apart from that OK.

The restaurant was close to our hotel. It's not a very touristy place, but if you're nearby, you should definitely eat there! It's delicious! We went there twice during our trip. The food was served quickly. But that’s the only positive thing I can tell about this place. The food and especially the sauce that is served along the Wiener schnitzel were awful. It was most likely a finished product that they just heated up in a pot. I mean if the food wouldn’t be that expensive, I wouldn’t feel like I had to warn other guests but 22€ for the worst Wiener schnitzel ever leave me speechless and I really regret visiting this place.

This is a truly immediate review, as I'm "there" right now. I'm sitting outside, in one of the two lounge corners, under large beer umbrellas, my computer on my lap, working. I spontaneously went to dinner with a colleague. It was pretty good. No major criticisms regarding any of the individual points; overall, there were just a few minor things that would have been too short for a 5-star rating, but overall, it wasn't enough.

We went there twice and had the honey ribs, the currywurst, the salami pizza, and the steak. For dessert, we had the apple strudel and the lava cake. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly. We sat inside both times, but the outside looked very nice too. Highly recommended 👍

We visited the restaurant by chance but ended up eating there all three days we were in Berlin. Good and reasonably priced food and very friendly staff with great service. On Saturday they had all pizzas for half price.

So, I was here today and I have to say: The beer was really nice and fresh, I was satisfied 🍺. And the schnitzel? Honestly, it was one of the best schnitzels I've had in Berlin so far—crispy, tender, and well-seasoned, just as it should be. The service was also very friendly; you immediately feel welcome. If I want a really good meal in Berlin, I'll come here. I can only recommend it! I'll definitely be back.

We visited today while on our trip to Berlin 🇩🇪 it was Pizza Day 🍕 (only €6.90 per pizza!) and there was also happy hour on cocktails 🍹. The food was honestly sooo tasty, and even my kids really enjoyed it 😋 The staff was super friendly and welcoming 😊 We were a bigger group, and they were kind enough to push the tables together so we could all sit as one really appreciated that 🙏 Felt very comfortable and well taken care of. There is a lot of variety in the menu, waiters are very very nice, nice place with a relaxing atmosphere in a quiet district MITTE.

I was there this evening and tried the burger; it was absolutely delicious! The meat was juicy, the bun fresh, and the ingredients perfectly balanced. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. I'd especially like to praise the service: the server was incredibly friendly and attentive. I initially wanted to pay with Visa, but there was a minor system error. It wasn't a problem at all; he took care of it in a friendly manner, and everything went smoothly with my debit card. All in all, a very pleasant visit. I'd be happy to come back!

I've been going to Spitteleck once or twice a week after work for at least a year. The food is hearty and good; the menu, thankfully, isn't too extensive and offers mostly hearty dishes. The service is very attentive and friendly; the young chef is a kind soul and always has a friendly smile on his face. Especially in summer, you can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the evening and the sunset at Spittelmarkt. The prices are reasonable for central Berlin, and the portion sizes are perfectly fine. All in all, I find it a very pleasant place with hospitable people, and I enjoy visiting it again and again.

We spent all our days at Spitteleck to end the evenings. Firstly, because of its convenient proximity to our booked hotel – and then deliberately because of the food selection and quality, the friendly and attentive service, and the harmonious outdoor ambiance – complete with sun protection and extremely pleasant staff. Friendly staff food was good. But felt like i had been over charged? When you pay there is no receipt just told how much it is. But after reading the reviews now the added tip would explain a lot. All I can say is just be aware of what you order and price.

I was there for a work meeting. The host kept the offerings very limited, which cannot be blamed on the catering industry. We were in a closed side room. Unfortunately the acoustics were rather poor.

L'accueil était chaleureux mais la suite nous a beaucoup déçus. Nous étions une table de 5 et il y avait 4 tables en plus de nous pour 2 serveurs, donc normalement pas de stress. Nous avons attendu avant la prise de commande, puis la serveuse nous a tendu une assiette avec de la sauce dessous que nous ne pouvions donc pas attraper. Il manquait des asperges dans un plat et quand nous les avons réclamées, la serveuse nous a dit qu'il n'y en avait plus.... Pas de proposition de remplacement. 3 desserts sont proposés sur la carte, ce soir-là il n'y en avait plus qu'un..... Nous n'y retournerons pas.

I ordered the grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce. I could only taste burnt. Sauce had no distinct flavour (although maybe it was just that the burnt flavour overpowered everything else), mushrooms seemed canned. Fries were ok. Ordered a tiramisu as desert which was also just ok. Overall really not worth the price (ended paying ~35€ for everything, including large coke). Unfortunately, it was the worst culinary experience I had in the whole week I spent in Berlin.

Very rushed waiter who rushed around between the tables. The food was exclusively semi-finished products. Schnitzel with pepper sauce which was really just a bechamel sauce with a handful of peppercorns. Can't recommend this one.

I celebrated my retirement from work at Spitteleck with more than thirty people! Everything worked wonderfully, the buffet was great and the service was very friendly and attentive. I can fully recommend Spitteleck!

Ambiente encantador y personal amable y atento. La comida llegó rápidamente al igual que las bebidas. Teníamos un schnitzel de cerdo y costillas de barbacoa de cerdo. Ambas eran porciones amplias, sabrosas y bien presentadas y nos ofrecieron salsas si era necesario. Recomendaría el strudel de manzana - delicioso y servido caliente con helado.

It had to be quick and it was quick. Average convenience/deep fryer cuisine at a fair price. Everything was okay - no revelation, but it was tasty. The staff was friendly.

We returned on Friday as we checked into the hotel nearby. The welcome was friendly, the service was really great (young woman and young man). At first we had the impression that it was the owners because both employees were very concerned about the well-being of the guests. Despite the stress, they weren't above a short small talk. The food, we had beef roulade and fish, was really good. Large enough portions, we enjoyed it. Beer/wine also recommended. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken, but my wife still got the espresso she wanted. This is SERVICE and not a given. We had a great evening and can highly recommend the restaurant.

We were here for the second time and were welcomed and served very warmly and courteously by the operators. We had various starters and main courses and everything was extremely tasty and of good quality. The prices are absolutely fine. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Berlin.

It was very nice and cozy 👍🏻 The food was good, but for the price I would have expected something different. I ordered farmer's breakfast, but what I got was more of an omelet.

A tip was forced to be collected without informing the customer. We found that the amount of the bill was wrong. Later we asked the waiter for the detailed bill and found out that we were forced to collect a tip of 4 euros. The waiter said that he did not know about it, but our statement was correct. Afterwards, he refunded our two euro tip, and the remaining two euros were the tip we gave him. Regardless of whether the waiter knows it or not, this mandatory tipping behavior greatly affects the customer's dining experience and is not in compliance with German law. In addition, the food tastes very average.

Gran bienvenida, personal amable. Comimos aquí 3 de 5 noches cerca del hotel Titanic Comfort & BW después de caminar por los mercados de Navidad. Agradable bar frío, fabulosos cócteles, gran opción de menú. Medallones de cerdo, Schnitzel, Currywurst y Strudel con helado de pistacho fueron nuestros platos favoritos. Pablo era muy amable y un gran anfitrión. Pagos con tarjeta aceptados aquí, mientras que Bellisimo & Tapas Y Mas solo en efectivo.

Great welcome, friendly staff we ate here 3 out of 5 nights close to Titanic & BW hotel after Christmas markets. Nice chilled bar, fab cocktails, big menu choice. Pork medallions, Schnitzel & Strudel were our favourite dishes. Card payments accepted here, where as Bellisimo & Tapas Y Mas cash only.

Great store 👍👍👍 I would have liked the atmosphere to be a little more "spitty" (more like a pub than a restaurant) to live up to the name. The service was the best I've had in a long time (eye contact was enough). Special requests for food or drink were no problem. Great food, spareribs tender with butter, the farmer's breakfast juicy. What more could you want? The black beer is also a great recommendation. The service was very nice and attentive. The furniture is simple and practical. Some chairs could use a lifting, some of the covers are torn. A different chair cover color would immediately enhance the room. But that's "moaning" at a high level.
