We always enjoy coming here. Top-notch sushi of good quality!

Went here for lunch, the place is really trendy and we love how the people decorate the the place. The foods are also really tasty and fresh, and more to them, were that they were really well decorated. My friend seems to really enjoy the food soo much, that she want to visit us again. One thing that I want to suggest to the owner or the chef was that: please cut the veggies or the food smaller. and please think on how the customer would eat it. I'm a big man, but I still find it pretty hard to eat.

More show than substance. The online menu states that you can order via WhatsApp. No sooner said than done, but after 30 minutes I called without a response. The employee knew nothing and said that orders via WhatsApp aren't possible...maybe so, in which case they should simply delete this information from the website. I placed my order by phone and after an hour!!! I asked where the food was (distance: 10 minutes by car). 10 minutes later, the driver arrived with our food in the passenger seat without a thermal box, so the teriyaki salmon and miso soup were accordingly "warm." The attached "bill"—handwritten on the Tokoro flyer—was still decorated with cooked rice. The miso soup consisted of 80% lettuce (chicory?), three cubes of tofu, and three small seaweed sheets. The sushi was rolled much too loosely, tasted okay but nothing earth-shattering; the sushi from EATHAPPY at Rewe & Co. tastes better. The salmon's teriyaki sauce was more of a thin, light broth, and the rice was completely unseasoned. CONCLUSION: It was nothing. NO RECOMMENDATION. Personally, I won't order delivery again, nor will I try the restaurant.

The street-facing layout on the busy Georg-Schumann-Straße is hardly worth mentioning, and only the parked car in the driveway suggests an inner courtyard. Yet, as soon as you enter, the wonderful ambiance of Tokoro unfolds. The inner courtyard is unexpectedly spherical and verdant. With small private rooms separated by trellises and roses, it offers a retreat for small groups and couples seeking a romantic meal. The menu is extensive and extremely exciting. I found it very difficult to choose between the many delicious dishes. The taste was truly exquisite! Highly recommended, and I regret not having visited sooner. Update: The inner courtyard has undergone a significant transformation. Previously, it was a playful private room, now an elegant lounge, partially covered and decorated with high-quality furnishings. Today, I also had the great fortune and honor of watching the chef himself filleting and preparing the food.

Amazing food, as we don't have anything like it back home. Service 10/10, food 10/10, it couldn't be better. For dinner, we had a sushi platter with crunchy bites 😍. The starter was squid with sweet and sour sauce. This place has a lot of things we lack in the north, and that's why I say it's incredibly good. I can only recommend it.

A few weeks ago, we were spontaneously in Leipzig and decided to go out for dinner at short notice. Despite it being a Saturday night, we managed to get a reservation for two very quickly – that in itself was a huge plus! The ambiance in the restaurant is beautiful and very inviting – we felt completely at home from the very beginning. We would especially like to highlight the service: The waiters were incredibly warm, attentive, and simply truly personable. You rarely experience such a friendly atmosphere. The food arrived quickly and was delicious – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we don't live in Leipzig, otherwise we would certainly be regulars. But one thing is for sure: We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the city!

I've been here several times with my girlfriend. The food is definitely worth the price and tastes fantastic every time. My appetizer tip? Sake Ponzu And for anyone who wants to try something completely new and funky...order Tokoro Baby...trust me :) But even if you just want udon soup or any kind of sushi, you'll find it here and be surprised by the lovingly prepared dishes...and absolutely delicious...I'd go back any time 👍🫡

Great service, super tasty, beautifully served!

The sushi was good, but the selection, especially of spicier dishes, could be larger. Unfortunately, the tartar wasn't really tartar, and the 8th roll was always only half a portion. It's just too expensive for that. Also, pickled ginger is missing as a standard side dish.

Positiv: Das Essen war sehr gut, ebenso die Getränke. Besonders gefallen hat uns das schöne Ambiente im vorderen Bereich des Restaurants. Negativ: Trotz Reservierung mussten wir zunächst recht lange stehen und es dauerte etwa zehn Minuten, bis sich jemand um uns gekümmert hat. Beim Eintreten fiel uns sofort auf, dass es im Restaurant sehr warm war – es wirkte schlecht belüftet. Unser Tisch befand sich im hinteren Bereich, der leider gar nicht einladend war. Direkt hinter dem „Fenster“ war eine Baustelle sichtbar, teilweise abgehängt mit schmutzigen Folien und Tüten. Das hat die Atmosphäre stark beeinträchtigt. Auch der Servierwagen (Schiff), auf dem das Essen präsentiert wurde, war alles andere als hygienisch – sichtbar verschmutzt, besonders in den Ecken, und im Inneren befand sich schmutziges Wasser, das durch das durchsichtige Material gut zu erkennen war. Das hat uns ehrlich gesagt den Appetit verdorben. Zum Schluss war es auch noch nicht möglich, mit Karte zu zahlen – nur Barzahlung oder PayPal wurde akzeptiert.

Contrary: Despite having a reservation, we initially had to stand for quite a while, and it took about ten minutes for someone to attend to us. Upon entering, we immediately noticed that the restaurant was very warm – it seemed poorly ventilated. Our table was in the back area, which was unfortunately not at all inviting. Directly behind the "window" was a construction site, partially covered with dirty plastic wrap and bags. This severely spoiled the atmosphere. The serving cart (boat) on which the food was presented was also anything but hygienic – visibly dirty, especially in the corners, and inside there was dirty water, which was clearly visible through the transparent material. To be honest, this spoiled our appetite. Finally, it wasn't possible to pay by card – only cash or PayPal was accepted.
