A very nice restaurant with delicious and artfully presented food in a great atmosphere! A little feedback on the menu: For guests who aren't very familiar with Asian cuisine, it can be difficult to imagine some of the dishes. There are some pictures on the menu, which is great – but it would be even more helpful if the photos showed the actual presentation of the dishes. Many of the dishes served at neighboring tables looked truly artistic – it would be nice to be able to see that when choosing. Perhaps the idea of ​​"tasting platters" or small combination dishes would be interesting, allowing you to try new dishes you might not otherwise order. Overall, though, it was a truly great experience – we'd love to come back!

After we rejected the starter because we didn't want it with the main course, the food was "forced" on us because otherwise it would be thrown away. What a shame!

A very hospitable place that is worth visiting All of the sushi we ordered were delicious. Nice interior, polite staff. Of the 4 menus we found one old menu which caused a little difficulty but the staff quickly figured everything out and solved our problem.

The place gave a good first impression. Nice atmosphere with good reviews. Then my friend ordered a tuna maki that came on a boat with lots of decorations, again, the exterior was giving high expectations. But the tuna tasted and smelled off, so my friend just wanted my opinion so I tasted one bite and agreed. It wasnt fresh and eatable. The waiter got quite defensive, and argued that the fish was from the same day so it couldnt be bad. Eventually he took the dish without any compensation or offer for something else. The drinks we had were sadly tasteless (and where were the rum?!) but the sake was as expected. Edame beans were OK. They didnt charge my friend for the tuna, we were glad to not have a fight about that.

Table booked for Valentine's Day. The space was very cramped as there were tables in the middle of the way. Staff seemed very overwhelmed with the crowd. Drinks were first forgotten to book, then the drinks came from the night bar table. Of the two starters we ordered, only one came. The second one didn't exist, even though there was no mention of it when I ordered. The wrong main course was brought first, then the correct order. The food itself was tasty and mostly nicely presented. At the night bar table, the event's main course was incomplete, which was only acknowledged based on a photo. In addition, you couldn't give up any more drinks because all the service staff were stressed. When paying, the waitress didn't have a wallet with her and couldn't change it. On normal evenings you might be able to have a nice evening, but in our experience not at special events

We ate here on Valentine's Day and I ordered the Valentine's Day special for €20. When we arrived at the reserved time, the table wasn't ready yet, which wasn't a problem. However, there was great disappointment when we were brought to our table. Romantic is something else... our candle wasn't lit, the flower vase was empty (others had roses on their table) and heart napkins were just folded. We also sat in the middle of the room, barely half a meter away from the other tables, where waiters and other people were constantly walking through. If I had known this beforehand, I would have saved myself the money. But the food was very tasty!

The sushi rolls are far too small for the price - I expected more. The soy sauce was extremely salty, which didn't really improve the taste. To be honest, I don't understand all the good reviews, but maybe it's because you get a surprise after a review. The nice ambience, the friendly staff and the attractive presentation of the sushi should be positively highlighted. It was really nicely decorated. But when it comes to taste, there are better alternatives.

Tokoro is particularly recommended for eating sushi. The sushi is of very good quality and the price at Tokoro is significantly cheaper than at other sushi restaurants. Depending on where you sit, it can be comfortable. If the restaurant is full, the waiting time can be significantly longer than usual. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends.

Excellent sushi, buttery fish, crunchy vegetables (the green asparagus is our favorite) and unbeatably fresh. The presentation of the sushi plates is creative and professional, so that you hardly dare touch the ensemble. The whole thing in a surprisingly cozy and green atmosphere - the garden in the back yard is hard to guess given its location on the main street. Absolute recommendation.

Very, very tasty dishes, everything freshly prepared and beautifully presented sushi

I have been a big Tokoro fan because of the delicious and fresh food and have occasionally ordered for home delivery (increasing the minimum order value to 30 euros was a challenge). BUT suddenly Tokoro no longer delivers to my address according to the online delivery page - so I can no longer place an order at all. It's only 10 minutes by car (but I don't have one to pick up). WHY? Really mean to be excluded from the delivery service that I used several times before (before January 2025)!

We had reserved and specifically stated that we had a dog and asked for a place on the edge at the back. When we arrived there was only one seat left right at the bar. Unfortunately, we were disappointed and were put off with a “everyone has a reservation”. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it.

First of all: food and drinks are great!! Top quality, beautifully prepared and great taste!! I went here for sushi with a friend - a poem!! The jasmine tea and the yuzu soda are also very tasty and recommended. What was annoying was that we had to wait 20 minutes for a table that had been reserved and confirmed in advance. There was an apology that didn't seem entirely serious, then another long wait for the menus and then for the service to order. There was a lot going on, that's understandable, but the waitress found it more important to clear a table, even though there were no new guests, than to take orders. My starter arrived when my main course was half eaten... timing and service left a lot to be desired.

The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxed lunch. The service staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, which makes the whole visit even more pleasant. The sushi selection is simply amazing. The fresh ingredients, the creativity of the roll combinations and the perfectly balanced flavors completely convinced me. Particularly noteworthy are the special Tokoro Special Rolls and the other excellent dishes – a real treat for the senses. The presentation of the dishes is also a real highlight. Each dish is artfully prepared and showcases the talent and care of the chefs. The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of Japanese drinks to complete the dining experience. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to any sushi fan. A big compliment to the entire team!

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. It was cold in the restaurant and the tables were far too close together. It was just uncomfortable. I think the person who was responsible for us didn't feel like meeting people that day. I haven't experienced such an unfriendly service person in a long time. The sushi wasn't good. Not a highlight at all. The soy sauce is way too salty and not of high quality. This has probably been sitting in the jars on the tables for ages. Once and never again.

Price-performance is not right at all. Way too overpriced. Far too much money is paid for normally good dishes that taste just as good or better in other restaurants. Chicken curry (without rice and not a large portion) costs €19. A beer costs around €6.50. The service is not good either. Some drinks were forgotten and only brought when asked. In general, no one came to the table to take orders again. The entire interior is by Temu. The maximum cost is taken with a minimum investment. The many reviews are based on advertising on every table. A surprise is promised after you leave a review. For 7 people we ended up paying €300 for no better food.

Für mich ist es das beste Sushi-Restaurant in Leipzig. Besonders die 119 und die 1032 kann sehr empfehlen. Das Perosnal ist zudem auch sehr freundlich.

Die Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf das Sushi, andere Speisen wurden nicht probiert. Das Sushi ist leider nicht so gut, wie die hohe Bewertung erwarten ließ. Der Reis ist etwas zu trocken, wie auch die Füllung. Der Reis könnte zudem auch etwas mehr Sushi-Su vertragen, was sowohl Geschmack, als auch Saftigkeit des Reis verbessern würde. Der Fisch war jedoch frisch und von guter Qualität. Die gebratene Lachshaut war aber hart und trocken, dass es eher an Schinkenwürfel oder Biltong erinnerte.

We were here for the first time on the occasion of a big birthday and were thrilled. The service staff was nice, courteous and not intrusive. We had the Grill Sake, the Tokoro Special 3 sushi plate and the Garuko for two people. Since the portions for sushi were very generous, there was even some left over. The taste was great and all the ingredients were very fresh. In the back yard you could look straight into the kitchen, which all looked very neat and clean. We'd love to come back 🤗

A very nice restaurant, food is great, selection not to be sniffed at. Sushi and soups and starters without complaint, unfortunately no WiFi for guests, although it is a small rating for a review. Surprise there. Toilets are just being renovated (but clean), so not for people with walking difficulties at the moment, very narrow and the steps on the steps are too small, even with shoe size 45 I bumped into them when climbing :-)
